I have been to this place almost 100 times and orgonised party with many of my friends during mt 5 years stay in Hyderabad. The place, location, food and service is never upset us. One of my best dish here is gobi 65. The waiter here gets me a plate of gobi 65 without asking whenever i visit this place. I still miss the food there after being in my country for almost 4 years now. Will definately make a visit once. Good luck and see you soon........
Being a veggie all i can say to all the veggies out their is not to miss out on the chilly paneer at this place i can challlenge you that you will fall in live with this place..and offcourse the ambience and the location is perfect for an evening weather you wanna hangout with your family or your friends..there is a special roof top for small get togethers like kitty parties birthday or anniverary celebrations...and not to miss out on the hospitality and the gesture of mr.harjeet singh parmar thats cherry on the cake...
So all you people living in hyd or secbad get out and take a long drive and enjoy some lip smaking food and great service and hospitality as well ...
For the place i stay, this is quite a far off place. But, this is the only place that comes to my mind naturally when i have to think of food or friends to hang out with. Lots of great places to eat in Hyderabad, but this is my favorite one.

This place always have been serving finger licking food although needed an added touch in terms of its ambience... People who have been to this place before must visit it now.. Its a complete makeover... You wouldn't believe your eyes.. It's been beautifully done up with a great ambience for family n friends.

Dhaba in Shamirpet food is good the ambience is good long drive scenes a must try place service is prompt well landscaped property prices a little high than compared to the regular dhabas but I guess the quality does matter it’s alrite !

A good place in city outskirt. If you are with your spouse and family, don't worry they have kind of a separate place along with all the other places to sit.. had good crowd when i visited, no fuss. The food was good (not overwhelming) the order takes time to arrive so be prepared when you visit, just place the order first and then chit chat or do what you like. The food is a bit on spicier side but has close taste to an authentic dhaba style food. I liked their chana roast and malai chicken along with punjabi daal. Laccha paratha was good but the tandoori roti was very hard to break and eat.
One of the best Dhaba's in Hyderabad, quick service, affordable prices, tasty food, good ambience. Paneer Tikka Masala was very delicious, so were other curries.
There are many dhabas around shamirpet but what makes this place amazing is it's ambiance , food and price. Awesome North Indian food at an excellent price. Far from the city ,this place is a good option for outing and get together.

Just outside this side of the city, Rajendar Dhaba is the perfect cure to sate one's craving for food on long drives. The surroundings are maintained fairly clean by the staff. They have lot of parking space. The food is a perfect balance between hygiene and Dhaba taste and flavours.

Good ambience, family friendly place. The food was good. We went on a weekend. Not much of crowd, we ordered vegetarian food which tasted well. They said they ran out of rice when we ordered fried rice. Took them 30mins to prepare our rice item, we dint bother much as the open garden was good enough for us to spend time with the family till the rice item arrived. The serving staff is courteous.
This is my second visit to this place as the food prepared here is very inviting. I travelled almost 50 kms to have food here(I know it's crazy).The lightening try gave got looks good &gives in a good dhaba feel. Ordered pepper chicken, majestic chicken in starters. Service was good as along with us they were also serving big family of around 15-20 people . Pepper chicken (second time order) was delicious unlike others which are usually hard , this was slightly crisp from out & soft from in.I like chicken thus way. But the stealer dish was majestic chicken. This was way too delicious as all the flavours were well balanced. Maincourse we ordered malai kofta with laccha paratha. Both became my favourites as I like tandoori laccha paratha a lot and malai kofta was medium spiced .I would recommend to try out this place as it's worth the time I spent on my drive :p
Close to the ORR exit at Shamirpet, this dhaba is one of the places where you can take a break during long highway travel.
Ambience, I'd say is cool & comfy and much more bright with lights during night time. An absolute pleasure to have dinner in the garden. No issue of parking 'cause it's a pretty big place.

Veg & non veg starters are fine. I'd suggest you to try tandoori chicken, it is worth having.

City of hyderabad is surrounded by many dhabas inside and in outskirts of the city but there are very few dhabas which serve some authentic food amd Rajendar Punjabi Dhaba is one of those very few dhabas.
This dhaba is located near Shamirpet ORR outskirts of the city it's almost 20 kms away from my place but it worth a ride to the place. A beautiful dhaba with both open and closed sections and looks beautiful at night. I was here with my friends for dinner we reached the place after 30 mins of drive. We sat in a beautiful open section with some beautiful lighting.
We ordered Fish Tikka, Egg Bhurji, Tomato Subzi, Dal Tadka, Butter Chicken, Chicken Leg and breads. We received our order after 20 mins but we had some amazing food. Chicken leg and fish tikka was perfectly tandoored with correct amount of species. Butter Chicken was creamy and went well with the breads and so did the dal and egg bhurji.
Overall we had an amazing dinner and as said it was worth driving to this place. A place must visit if you are looking for some delicious food and if you are planning for a drive.
Oh man, I love this dhaba. One of the best I have ever visited. It has got typical Punjabi taste and tastes really good. The butter chicken and panneer curries were mouthwatering. Do visit this dhaba if you happened to go on the karimanagar highway.

We wanted a long drive and wanted to explore a few dhaba around the city which is when I came across this dhaba. To be honest it's kind of very well kept garden with enough outdoor sitting arrangement unlike the typical dhaba you find in UP or Punjab. The staff were courteous and served food fast. We asked for an outdoor seating arrangement with charpai and tables like a typical dhaba and they arranged for the request in less than 5 minutes. So of you are looking for dhaba kind of ambiance this is the place to be. There's also a few tree house if you are up for it. We ordered a lot of Punjabi food like paneer butter Masala, dal makhani, chicken curry, paneer kadhai, fried rice, and Lassi. The food had been cut out to suit the Andhra palate. So I found curry patta in dal makhani, really spicy chicken. But overall the taste of food was above average. Price wise it was decent. The place was surprisingly clean despite being a dhaba. Though outdoor attracted some flies. Overall an OK place if you want to go for a long drive and eat at a dhaba.
Rajendar Punjabi Dhaba is one of the very few dhabas in this locality that serves decent food. Posting my review after three visits. Unlike other dhabas in this locality, it looks pretty neat.
In one of my earlier visits, we have Special Natu Kodi Pulusu(full chicken) with Jeera rice. It was on a rainy evening and the perfect combination of hot Jeera Rice with Spicy Natu Kodi Pulusu is just awe some.
Today, we made a pit stop at this dhaba for some quick food. Ordered Pepper Chicken, Veg Manchuri, Paneer Curry and Tandoori Rotis. All of them are spicy. Pepper Chicken tasted good but had a thick coating of corn flour. Veg Manchuria Dry had very soft balls and some of the pieces turned into paste. Paneer Curry was good.. The dish had a generous quantity of paneer; and the rotis were good.
Overall.. a nice dhaba where we can visit with family and can have some good snacks.
As a student at NALSAR Shameerpet where going to Rajender is considered a ritual after law classes, I had the rare privilege of tasting some good Punjabi stuff but also the misfortune of developing a big tummy. For the folks at Shameerpet, especially BITS and NALSAR, do note that Rajender also delivers food upon giving a call.
Rajender actually gives one the good Dhaba vibes (considering it is on the highway) and has recently undergone a minor facelift. The place looks even better now with neatly manicured lawns and thatched pavilions around.
The food at Rajender is the best, i.e. if you are looking for a good dhaba experience. The Butter Naan with Aloo Gobi and Dal Fry are the marquee dishes at Rajender. The Kadhai Paneer is tasty as hell too. The portions are very sizeable at Rajender which is a great thing. The staff are on their feet and agree to customize the spice levels, choice of ingredients as per your wishes. All in all, Rajender is the one good Dhabha of Hyderabad!
I was told that this place was over rated, but trust me it's amazing... I had food from here a lot of times... You will have to try his butter chicken and zeera rice and tandoori chicken... Some other dishes also are good but can't recollect their names... All in all prolly the best Dhaba to eat at Shamirpet...
Decent place for friends and family, they have seperate sections. In summers visit after 9pm as It is a Open air dhaba, desi murg is a must try but takes 40 min to be served but you can always call and order.
Rajendra dhaba was always my favourite place among dhabas near by hyderabad. As it was nearby my place we visit here often. I have been visiting this place from ages and that made me take my fiance to this place. Yesterday when we have visited we ordered channa masala, paratha, butter naan and gobi Manchuria.
Out of all i liked channa masala. It looked and tasted good. I have almost tried most of the dishes here from my childhood.
Mixed veg curry is my favourite dish here.

My friends and I had gone for a short trip to Shamirpet Lake and we were on the way back. It was quite late and all of us were hungry. We felt that instead of waiting till reaching the city we thought that we would dine in one of the Dhaba’s. As all of the foodies might have guessed there was only one Dhaba that came into my mind and that was Rajendar Dhaba. Located on the main road right before you take a turn into the Leonia Resort lane is a fantastic Dhaba that has been opened for over 50 years. What was once was a quaint place that served only highway travelers has become one of the most sought out Dhaba’s by us Hyderabadi’s.
Been here for new year family dinner. This place is just so amazing. We dined at a wooden terrace and the experience is overwhelming.
Had tandoori chicken as a starter and this dish left me craving for more.
The main course included kadai chicken, egg burji, rotis and jeera rice. All of them perfect with right combination of flavours.
All in all a good start to the new year! Cheers!
This place is amazing. A big area with swings and play stuff for kids, open garden dining, terrace dining and indoor dining options! What else you expect in respect of ambience from a dhaba. Now the food, its mouthwatering, you will get the best tandoor paranthas here. Its pure North Indian taste. Service is Okay. A must try place.

Foodie alert this is an open air dhaba so please don't expect a 5 star place.

Have been to this place like 50 times and just realized that I didn't write a review..so here is it..for starters this place is located in your way to shamirpet.It's located about 20 kms from paradise circle and very close to Alankrita resort.Coming to food...rotis are heavenly and the Andhra chicken curry is awesome.Must try the natu kodi or the desi murgi curry which is simply the best.Ambience is clean and what a dabha should be of..staff is curteous and service is quick..if you ever want to go for a long drive then I would suggest this place for sure..Punjabi chicken and the mutton is worth a try..they even have bbq in the evening.Happy eating.
Congrats for 50 years of service!!!! Most visited place as it is near to college (IPE). They need to improve a lot on their delivery time, one would faint waiting for food. They also need to improve quantity of food served for the price they charge. Coming up with A/C section will really help!!

One of the best Dhabas in the city. Do try the tandoor, aaloo 65, and parathas. The food is great, but that's not what makes this place unique. You will love the ambience and friendly service. Remember to finish your meal with a nice hot cup of chai.

I have been to this place on a saturday and we were a group of 8.Located close to alankrita resorts this dhaba off the highway seemed pretty good with a large open area with tables and chaarpai (cots to sit upon) scattered around that gives a typical dhaba ambiance.The place wasn't crowded though.
Coming straight to the food i tried the chilli chicken,chicken 65,garlic chicken for the starters.Punjabi chicken and tandoori roti for the main course and concluded with a full glass of lassi.The tandoori roti was well made(soft and evenly burnt).Food tasted good.Service is prompt.Price is low.
Rajender Dhaba is one of the good dhaba on Rajiv highway stretch. Its present just before shamirpet beside ORR. They serves good Punjabi authentic dhaba food. Its large open area with few tables nd children play equipment. They also have one small table on kind of terrace with nice decor. Last week while returning from my native with my friends wanted to have quick evening bite. We 5 people along with my son stepped in. Had tea Veg pakodi nd chilli paneer. Tea is ok nothing to feel gr8 but felt relaxed with it after long journey. Veg pakodi is good with more onions nd crispy tatse. Was good with tea combo. The chilli paneer was tummy with soft paneer witj gr8 masala taste. The paneer was one of the best which I had ever. It was so tender nd soft nd all of us loved it. Meanwhile my son enjoyed a lot with slider nd all. Good exp nd drive in the eve here for good dhaba food along with nice env.

We have been patronizing Rajendar Dhaba for more than a
decade now. Back in the days, it used to be a very quaint solitary non-commercial
Dhaba on the highway with just a few ardent and regular foodies (like me) who would
drop by almost every weekend.
Unlike the scores of garishly commercial Dhabas (Like Sony
et al) which are on Medchal (Nagpur) Highway. Rajender Dhaba is the lesser
known but much better counterpart located on the Karimnagar Highway just a kilometre
ahead of Alankrita resorts.
They have an expansive area divided into a family section
with a small lawn and nice plantation, bird cage, a play area for kids and then
some private dining areas perched on these small pillar shaped pedestals which
can seat a family of 6.
Apart from the quaintness, the food is the biggest highlight
and draw for everybody. Must try items are the Bater (Partridge) Fry, Tandoori Chicken Legs, Aloo 65, Dal Fry, Egg Burjee and Roti. While these might sound like very
oridnary generic items, but remember that the best food in life is usually very simple
and unpretentious. If you are adventurous and lucky, you might get Rabbit meat
also cooked like a chicken curry.
Over the last few years, there has been an increase in
patrons and with the opening of the ORR right next door, there has also been a
considerable increase in traffic and noise levels as well.
Service is a bit laid back as these guys have limited staff
on hand so you need to have lots of patience and time to spend and eat here. You can
carry your own booze but let the server know and they will make arrangements to
keep it under wraps. Every once in a while, the local cops clamp down on the
booze ritual and that can be a bummer. But nevertheless, a great Dhaba to eat
and drink with family and friends away from the city’s hustle and bustle, where
you can have abundance of peace, tranquillity and great food at very reasonable
prices.

Crazy place has the best and a tipical yet modernish feel of a Punjabi Dhaba ..... It's is perfectly located for a long drive from the mid city and has the perfect range of pakodas for monsoon in hyderabad if Ur looking for a Dhaba yet being hygienic then this is the exact place u ought to be at.

I have personally experienced the place since years and have inspected the kitchen at any given time it is maintained really well and the food takes a bit longer than expected but that is all dhabas are about, the time is consumed so that the food searved is freshly made from the organic vegetables grown by them and yes the food is fresh that is why it consumes time in preparation I have been to places where they serve u right early but if Ur impressed by that then hats offf to you cause Food takes time and love to be prepared and this place gives you alll ...
Rajendar Dhaba is a place to be. Beautifully done filled with serenity and greenery.esp. in night the place looks like a a five star property . Staff and the owner are very curtious and hospitable.The food is amazingly good right from A to Z although my personal favorite is Aloo 65 and aloo pratha er chicken ...dall fry , spicy chicken , butter chicken ahhh mouth watering .. . Highly recomdable.

Nice long drive from paradise but it was worth. It's a very average looking dhaba with nice and green surroundings . But the staff and owner of the place are very hospitable. Food is above average and can be customized. Dal, palak paneer and chicken masala was nice . Very quick service and hot rotis were served till we finished our meal. Cost wise it's very reasonable and very good portion size .
Went there for dhaba-style lunch with a bunch of friends. Ordered several starters which were delicious specially Tandoori chicken, chilli chicken and Gobhi snack. For main course we stuck to Dal fry, egg bhurji and tandoori roti which was decent.

Good place for weekend hangout. Good food , taste is great, but service is slow and takes 30-40 min to serve. Its better to give complete order in one shot. Lots of open space. One can book a machaan view seating if going with a group.

Good food is offered. I liked the pepper chicken a lot. For ice creams you have to go to the cash counter. Excellent place for dinner. Easily approachable by outer ring road. Biryani is not available here, we can only opt for fried rice. Overall I would recommend this place for good food.
