Chubby Choo is a Pan-Asian restaurant
offering some of the classic dishes from selected Eastern Asian countries like China, Japan, Thailand and Korea.
🪑 Ambience: The moment you enter the place, the ambience will teleport you all the way to the Japan. The interior is designed to make it look like a traditional Japanese hotel with sliding doors, bamboo walls with classic Japanese calligraphy hanging on them.
The seatings are very comfortable with soft cushions on them. Also they have pretty corners for family seatings.
🍝 Food:
🍷 Drinks:
↪️ Jasmine Tea (Complimentary)
You're welcomed with the Jasmine Tea, which is the most consumed tea of China. The tea is highly fragrant and scented. It is made with the leaves of Jasmine plant and served in traditional Chinese tea cup.
🍢 Starters:
All of the starters I tried ware prepared in Indo-chinese chilli style. The main ingredients are cooked in the soya sauce and with other elements like garlic, sauteed onions, green chillies, pepper etc.
↪️ Pepper Cottage Cheese (₹384) - 5⭐
↪️ Assorted Sriracha Mushroom (₹411) - 5⭐
↪️ Hot Basil Chicken (₹472) - 4⭐
↪️ Tangra Chilli Prawn (₹686) - 5⭐
A must-have for sea food lovers. I was blown away with it's taste. The prawns have a size of a palm. It had soft tender texture and not rubbery. The prawns were neither moist not smelly and the batter was perfectly fried making it crispy and crunchy.
↪️ Bao:
Baos are similar to dumplings which have a filling inside. The stuffing is filled in a steamed maida bun and served in a steamer. The buns are moist in texture, and comes in different varieties.
↪️ Paneer Twister Bao (₹384) - 3⭐
Juicy paneer cooked in a curry and filled inside a closed steamed bun.
↪️ Spicy Chicken Siu Bao (₹466) - 4⭐
The spiciness of chicken is overtaken by then sweetness of bread, but yet the filling is juicy and you can see it dripping out of the bao.
↪️ Vegetable Chilli Dimsum (₹406) - 4⭐
Spicy and lip smacking dimsums which are filled with a paste of onions, sweet corn and green chillies.
↪️ Chicken Coriander Dimsum (₹439) - 4⭐
Filled with chicken & coriander paste, it has a vibrant purple colour skin. Both the taste wise and look wise it is a perfect dimsum.
🍛Main course :
↪️ Ramen:
My first short at the ramen, and the experience indeed was one to remember. It consists of wheat noodles which are thick and lengthy. They're quickly boiled to avoid overcooking and hence giving a non-sticky texture. But the real taste of Ramen lies in it's broth and the taste of broth varies on your pick. Every Ramen bowl comes with chopsticks and exotic vegetables. The ramen bowl here is far from authenticity but expecting a Japanese standard taste is unjust because be it any other global dish, it's unfit to compare it's taste to the taste of it's origin place.
🍜 Hot Chilli Ramen Bowl (Chicken) (₹626) -4⭐
Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️
The broth had a strong soya sauce taste with pinch of chilli sauce. It was topped with sliced pieces of chicken, exotic vegetables and a half cut boiled egg. Actually, a Ramen bowl is served with semi boiled egg with yellowy yolk, but it had to be changed because that's a risky shot in India cuz not everyone prefer uncooked eggs.
🍜 Spicy Korean Ramen Bowl (Veg) (₹582) -3⭐
Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Starters: This one was really spicy. It had dominant soya taste with burning tongue spiciness, exotic veggies and soft chunks of tofu.
🍛 Hunan Sauce (Lamb) with Brunt Garlic Rice. (₹505) -4⭐
A tasty thick curry made up of ginger, soya sauce and exotic veggies. It has huge chunks of lamb which are perfectly cooked to make them soft and tender. Eat it with Brunt Garlic Rice to enhance your experience.
🍨 Desserts :
↪️ Water Chestnut Rubies (₹329) -5⭐
It's a popular Thai dessert made of sweet coconut milk and shaved ice, with small pinkish jewels water chestnut covered in flour. The texture of the milk is thick and the taste if heavenly delicious. You will definitely fall in love with it.
*HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*
↪️ Banana Tempura Hot Chocolate (₹329) -5⭐
Sliced banana is coated in a tempura batter and fried until golden. Then the warm indulgent dessert is dizziled with chocolate sauce and served along with cold vanilla ice cream. The combination of warm-cold dessert is amazing and blow away all your senses.
Overall experience - 5/5⭐
They have a limited menu but they made sure they did a mastery on them. I feel it is one of the best Pan-Asian restaurant in Hyderabad, but the service is extremely slow, which the management needs to work on improving.
The menu does consist of pork, but the management has confirmed that they have separate kitchen counters for pork meat and other meat.
COVID19 Measures: Followed ✅
💁 Pro Tip: Eat the food hot, don't get carried away in clicking pictures. 😛

Chubby cho isn't the name very peculiar and this is one of the reasons the brand has become an eye catcher of the crowd . Chubby cho means a fat asian person and it totally justifies the name as you will feel like putting in some mass after eating their mouth watering dishes. I was invited here for a session and for a change the restaurant is one of the few brands that serve authentic Pan Asian food. From the time we enter the place to the time we finish having food you will actually feel safe as every precautionary measure is taken to make the experience of the customer Hassel free. The session started of with some much needed healthy jasmine tea which is really soothing to your throat . After a wait for some time the dishes came in and they made me fall in love at the very first site. First came in the paneer Twister boa and the followed by the vegetable Chilli Dimsum. The reason for us all to drool over it was the flavour and the spices in it. Very soft and exotic. Next in line was the assorted Sriracha Mushroom and the paneer cottage cheese. These items that were served were a treat to have as it had the right touch to it which made us a feel the authenticity behind it. After the starters we were eager to try out some main course and also wanted to know if it would do the same just as the starters. Meanwhile we got are hands on the Mocktails which balanced our taste buds after some spicy bites. The main course then came in and were served wide across the table. The items served were the hunan sauce with some burnt Garlic Rice and the spicy Korean Ramen Bowl. The hunan sauce and the burnt Garlic Rice complimented each other really well and the Korean Ramen Bowl also was decent. After having the amount of food till you fill your stomachs I just managed to keep some space for the delicious desserts. The desserts served were the water Chest nut Rubbies and the banana Tempura Hot Chocolate. Both these were no less than each other however the water Chest nut Rubbies just over shadowed the other. This will make you drool and have another portion for sure. Chubby cho surely is one of the best Pan Asian places in the city . It is highly recommended.
Chubby cho
Stepping out after lockdown was a bit nervous and hesitant as we all know the current situation caused by the pandemic. I was unsure about dining out but then, nested in the lanes of jubilee hills, chubby cho is taking all the necessary precautions needed be it temperature check or sanitization at the entrance. also every table has a pack of sealed cutlery and a sanitizer, the staff has their gloves and masks on and social distancing is maintained very well ! Let's talk about the ambience now ! full of vibrant wooden decor and asian theme the ambience is very eye pleasing ! They have both low and high chairs the seating is very spacious and the staff are very polite and courteous let's start off with food now ! Jasmine tea is served as a complimentary welcome drink which is super refreshing ! Appetizers-
Tangra chilli prawns: these prawns were packed with flavours! Spicy and saucy! No less than perfection !
Assorted Sriracha mushroom: mushrooms tossed in Sriracha sauce with mild sweetness and a bit of spice left a great taste !
Pepper cottage cheese: This was showstopper I must say cottage cheese was soft and so flavourful with a lot of chillies and soy sauce !!
Hot basil chicken: tender chicken along with basil and green chillies !! The flavours were amazing!!
Paneer twister Bao: the baos here are the best that I've had till date !! Soft, smooth, warm and the filling was generous with spicy paneer !
Spicy chicken siu Bao: very well steamed and stuffed with chicken chunks which had asian flavours !!
Vegetable chilli dimsums: finely chopped veggies with a strong flavour of basil, pleated beautifully these dimsums were steamed to perfection and tasted delish !
Chicken coriander dimsums: purple colored dimsums with stuffing of minced chicken and coriander they looked pleasing !!
Main course-
Hunan sauce in lamb with garlic burnt rice :
The Hunan sauce was a bit spicy and tangy with loads of veggies and chunks of lamb you can also opt for other meat there's a choice of meat ! Hunan sauce when had with burnt garlic rice was just a perfect meal ! With minced garlic and spicy sauce the rice tasted flavoursome !!
Spicy Korean Ramen bowl: so we opted for the veg one !! Noodles topped with broccoli, beansprouts, carrots, tofu, french beans and loads of broth ! The whole ramen bowl was full of flavours! Noodles were thick and slurping ! This ramen bowl is just a complete meal for a vegetarians.
Hot Chilli Ramen bowl : on a bed of noodles with chicken broth lined up with chicken breast, boiled egg, beansprouts, broccoli, spring onion, carrots! This will surely fill your belly with goodness!
Desserts-
To savour our taste buds we had water chestnut rubies and banana tempura with hot chocolate ! Water chestnut rubies is a must try if you are a sweet tooth and you like to experiment alot with desserts ! So it basically was made of coconut milk and water chestnuts also litchi which gave a different taste all together !!
Banana tempura with hot chocolate is something different bananas are coated with flour batter and fried till crisp these are served with icecream drizzled with hot Chocolate sauce !!!
We also had some refreshing mocktails !
Overall I had a great experience ! Well if you're looking for a place which serves pan Asian cuisine with great ambiance then you should surely visit chubby cho.
One of the beat places for Asian cuisines in Hyderabad. I loved the ambience. Bright and chic Interiors with lots of art work and plantation. Food spread is also good except the fact that they serve pork.
Visited chubby cho and had these sushis for the first time and they tasted very good and this place has got good ambience and it is large and huge ...finally a good place hang out and dine in looking forward to visit the place again😊
I was craving for Asian food since the unlock 4.0 has begun. Clean, hygiene & quality food is a priority for me. Chubby cho has satisfied me on having the ambience and hospitality touch free by adding a QR code system for a menu. As I was seated, Jasmine tea was served. Compliments from the house. I have ordered a Tom kha soup for a spicy affair with the rainy weather, and salmon uramaki to boost up my energy with a light stomach. The soup has refreshed my taste buds with fresh thoughts for my creative side.
In the mood for some crouching Pad Thai, hidden Dim Sums? Come over to Hyderabad’s Pan-Asian Table - Chubby Cho!
The Noodles come with your choice of Chilly Garlic, Chilly Basil, Hakka or Sichuan sauce.
Their Curried Udon Ramen Bowl is an Asian style Noodle Bowl.🍜
The Sweet and Sour Chicken is quite good and goes well with the Cilantro Rice.
The Great Wall Of Chocolate Cannoli:
Brownie and Chocolate filling inside the Cannoli and served with Ice cream.🍧
Best dessert here for Chocolate Lovers. Highly Recommended!
So, get ready to go home Chubbier than before!🍻
It's costly but if you want to have a great food and good dinning experience.. then it's a must visit....

Chubby Cho is one of the places where the ambience is so warm and beautiful. Located in Jubliee Hills, right below Fat Pigeon, the Pan-Asian restaurant seemed to be a perfect place for lunch.
I loved the fact that as soon as we settled in, we were offered some Jasmine Tea. We decided to order a couple of mocktails and since we wanted a lime based drink, we picked the Spicy Fruit Fizzer. The drinks were delicious.
We then ordered an Assorted Platter of Dim sums, which had 8 pieces of the chef’s choice of dim sums. Since we ordered a vegetarian platter we had Corn & Asparagus, Crystal Veggies, Cheese & Spinach and Vegetable Chilli Basil, two of each.
Coming to Sushi, we again ordered a vegetarian platter of 8 pieces, which had Fresh Seaweed Uramaki and Asparagus & Cheese Maki, four of each.
The food was delicious and filling, especially the Sushi platter. The staff was skilled, polite and the service was in fact quite speedy. They had experimented very well with the menu. The prices of the dishes were a little on the expensive side but the ambience and the great quality of food & service had made this place simply outstanding.
The ambiance is just great. The food has good options and when they mean spicy, it is really.
The food was very delicious ❤️❤️
Ambience was also great
Polite staff
After making our self comfortable they served jasmine tea which smelled divine tasted same as green tea😅
They also served some complimentary i guess...which was quite impressive✌🏻
Monchow soup and banana tempura hot chocolate is must try....

This is one of the best Asian restaurants in town. With a beautiful ambiance, filled with beautiful wall arts and interior decor this restaurant has pulled off the Asian theme really well.
The service is prompt, and that is a good thing considering the number of tables there are.
One of the cutest things is that they serve you hot Jasmine Tea after seating you, to help kickstart your meal on a healthy note. And they'll keep on refilling it whenever you finish a cup.
Coming to the food, they've got a great variety in both the vegetarian and non vegetarian categories.
From Ramens to Sushi Rolls to Dimsums to Baos to noodles to human, they serve all authentic asian dishes. Some of the dishes we loved and would recommend are:
~ Paneer Thister Bao: These are beautiful Bao dumplings, with the covering made out of bread. The filling is spicy flavoured paneer. The dish had beautiful flavours and the textures were spot on. They serve 3 Baos in a dish.
~ Prawn Tempura Uramaki: This is a sushi roll dish, specially recommend to those trying out Sushi for the first time. This is a cooked version of the traditional sushi rolls, and hence will help you ease your palette to acquire the taste of sushi.
~ Curried Udon: Favourite dish of the day, this bowl of Ramen was simply Delish! With inhouse made udon flat noodles, exotic vegetables, tofu and an exceptionally delicious flavoured curry, we'd recommend this dish to all Ramen lovers out there!
Overall, makes for a great experience, even though the restaurant might be a little pricey, it's a great option to visit once in a while whenever you wish to have some good authentic asian cuisine.
Highly recommend the crispy lotus stem and the curried udon bowl. The broth was just amazing.
A nice place to hang out with friends and family. Best part is no music so one catch up on all talking with good food and drinks. If large groups ask for drinks by bottle as it wll work out a bit cheaper. Good place for chinese. For all locals extra spicy variety available too.
Very good ambience, Ramen came in after 30 min...but taste on point and worth it. Valet convenience appreciated
Ambience : 5/5 - It gave a very Asian vibe. Lovely ambience. Food : 5/5 : They serve warm jasmine tea before the meal. Vast Asian food options. One of the best Asian food I’ve ever had. Ramen was good and the fried rice were cooked perfectly served with a gravy. I would love to come back for the food. Literally the best Asian restaurant in town. Drinks : They should work on expanding their drink options.Overall, My experience was great. Not to forget, the staff was very courteous. Everything was just excellent.
Good food and ambiance. Loved everything here and wild love to go again. Ramen and sushi were my favorite and so were crispy honey noodles with ice cream. Prawn tempura was also amazing. You can see sushi being made which is unlike other restaurants I’ve visited so far. Great place.
Spent the new year's eve here with friends. Loved the ambience and lucky for us, it wasn't crowded that evening. Service started out a bit slow but later on things kept coming fast and everything was perfect.
Some dishes were "indianized" a bit but overall the lineup was great.

Must haves: Dimsum, Nasigoreng
Lovely ambience and friendly staff makes this place cozy for a nice dinner. I fell in love with the appetizers. Both the non veg and veg items were extremely delicious. The Pork appetizer was cooked perfectly The portion sizes of main course was a lot and it could have been easily shared between 2 people. However, we weren't communicated about this and ended up over ordering food. Please be conscious of this. Sashimi was great and felt fresh. Sushi could be a lot better. Didn't think it was the best.
Chubby Cho has a great selection of cocktails! in my opinion the food is average, although dumplings were quite nice. I tried the steamed pork soupy dumplings. Ambience is chic and spacious. :)
This place has a very good ambience and service is just wow. The food we ordered was lipsmacking. Its definitely worth a try!
I would have definitely given it a 5 star, but the only thing is that its little expensive.
I am a vegetarian and still did not have any trouble choosing a dish here.
We ordered chilli basil dim sums, Asparagus tempura uramaki(sushi), Nasi Goreng(Fried rice mixed with a sauce) and a cocktail.
Dimsums were my favorite. Veg sushi was just fried rice on the outside with asparagus inside(not that great). Fried rice was good.
Staff was patient enough to explain about the food
Coming to the ambience , they have kept it simple.
Overall we had a good experience here! Cheers.
We visited this place for lunch on a Sunday after booking table. The restaurant called to enquire if we are indeed visiting. Was shown to a table and jasmine tea was served along with soft peanuts and accompaniments. Starters were ordered which was promptly served as was the drinks.the starters - a paneer and chicken prep was good.
The main order was placed. The service was quick enough but a bit intrusive. The server had a handicap of spitting with every word he spoke and was not conversant with dishes.
Ordered black pepper chicken( had no flavour of black pepper)
it was something like pieces of fried chicken and vegetables in sweet and sour
sauce. But good to eat. Chicken fried rice was good and children enjoyed as it was not spicy. Sticky rice served with Thai curry was something to avoid. It was most-unlike sticky jasmine rice you get in other places - fragrant soft and delightful. The Thai curry was good had lots of vegetables in coconut flavoured gravy. The Nasi Goreng ordered for children was modified and we requested to bring only the chicken pieces. Two pieces of batter fried chicken was brought out of which one piece was a wing. The serving sizes were generous and enough to share.
What was most amazing - the toilets nice and clean not smelly. Usually one does not find toilets so clean in places busy with customers.
Overall a good experience. Suggestion to the manager to provide more tissue papers without asking for it.
It's located just below Fat pigeon . Food was great . It gets crowded on weekends. Must try chicken takarai .
Authentic South Asian cuisine and prompt service are two major takeaways from this place.
Inspired by K-Dramas , i tried spicy ramen bowls but ended up not liking it much due to added spices. I m a blend and non spicy food lover , hence this place is definitely not meant for me.
So foodies do try it out if you are seeing K-dramas and want to give it a shot to what you are constantly seeing in Series.
Ambiance: 3.5/5
Food: 4.5/5

I tried Hot Chilly Ramen and Sushi platter. Ramen was good and filling. It's a must try. It's lite, tasty and filling. Sushi is not for the light of the heart. Try if you are feeling adventurous or you know you like sushi
If you are looking at authentic chinese or pan asian, this is the place. What a culinary master the chef is....Wow. Had Vegetable chilli and chicken chilli oil, lip smacking....woow. too good. I am coming back atleast 3 to 4 times for sure.
Chubby Cho is one of the branches of Fat Pigeon, which offers iconic pan Asian flavours from start to end. Chubby cho has opened its door to the city of nawabs in this year around the Month of March or April, from then it has been making the talk of the town for the food and service. Chubby cho is located in the lanes of Jubilee hills Road no 45, sharing the space in the building of Fat pigeon. The place has got much postivity and looks very classy. The Ambience over here keeps upto the mark with the Asian backdrop to have the feel. The Seating capacity over here is around 60-80 pax at a time. I especially the Round tables at the two corners of the place. We were at this place to try out their newly launched menu. Lets check it out what they have for us in the store.
Started with Salads which were "Som tom Veg Salad" nothing but Green papaya salad is a spicy salad made from shredded unripe papaya, It was spicy and sweet at the same time. I am totally love with this salad. The presentation was also good. Next item was "Larb gai Salad" which is made with browned ground chicken, mint, basil and red onions dressed with lime juice and ground red chillies. This one also won my heart.
APPETIZERS:-
From the Veg section we started with "Water Chestnut corn on Lettuce Bed" which was totally different for me, the dish was colorful with the corn, water chestnuts and spring onions in it. You can find the softness of sweetcorn and the crunchy part of water chestnut at a go which was a good treat to palate. Next was "Crispy Chilli Tofu" Tofu nicely battered well the spice mixture and deep fried until its golden brown and tossed with chilli sauce which was good in taste. Next was "Assorted Siracha Mushrooms" the same method for crispy chilli tofu but it has bit sweet and chilli tasted in it. I would rather prefer mushroom than Tofu.
From Non Veg Section we had "Devil Chicken Wings" which was super crispy and spicy which everyone in the group liked it. Chicken wings battered well in the mixture and deep fried and tossed in chilli sauce which made the wings more spicy. Next was "Tangra Chilli Prawns" spatchcock prawns battered and cooked in with the Asian flavours, was good but they were crunchy but not soft, was getting a little tinge of wasabi as well. Next was "Mustard Fish" fish well battered in spice mixture and shallow fried, the taste was good and the taste of Wasabi was hitting more than mustard taste.
Next came in the Baos and Dim sums, from Baos we had "Paneer Twister Bao and Spicy chicken siu Bao" this was the first time i had Bao, personally i did not like the texture of the bao, it is a type of filled bun or bread-like dumpling in various Chinese cuisines. It is kind of fermented dish were it is slightly different from Dim sums, Dim sums consist of thin layer and steamed until perfection, where as Baos are thick layer of flour and you find the filling in middle of bao. I would pick Dim sum instead of Bao. From the Dim sum we had "Coriander Chicken Dim sum" and "Crystal Veggies Dim sum" both tasted good.
For the Mains we had Ramen Bowls, there were "Spicy Korean Shin Chicken" & "Mild Korean Ramen Prawn" tried it for the first time and i loved it. There was "Assorted Sushi Platter" as well but Sushi is not my cup of tea, hence did not take the risk of having it. In the sushi platter we had "Crab stick Avocado Sushi", "Prawns Tempura Sushi" and Salmon, Tuna, Mackerel, Prawns Sushi as well.
DESSERTS:-
For Desserts we had "Naughty Coconut Ice cream" which was prepared in house with coconut and jaggery which has balanced flavours in it. Next was "Great wall of Chocolate Cannoli" this was one of the best dessert i had in recent times, fresh pastry puff rolled in cigar shaped with Chocolate brownie in the middle and Chocolate syrup on one side and whip cream on the other side and butterscotch ice cream as an accompaniment. Truly loved this dessert a big heart to the chef who curated it. Next comes the show stopper "Water Chestnut Rubies" it's a coconut milk based dessert that is very popular among Thais when the weather is hot. The small reddish/pinkish jewels are water chestnut covered with tapioca flour, served with sweeten coconut milk and shaved ice. Try this for once at least you will definitely love this.
Well this was my honest opinion on the newly launched menu of Chubby Cho, My favourite dishes would be the both the salads, Assorted siracha mushroom, chicken wings, Ramen bowl, Great wall of chocolate cannoli & water chestnut rubies. Hope you all liked it. For more food related updates do follow our Insta Page @hydfoodie.

Must have: Som Tom veg, assorted sriracha mushroom, water chestnut corn on lettuce bed, devil chicken wings, hot basil chicken, paneer twister bao, spicy chicken Sui bao, crystal veg dimsums, chicken coriander, spicy Korean shin chicken ramen, water chestnut rubies and the Great Wall of chocolate cannoli.
Asian food has always been a hot seller and the love towards it is growing by the day. We recently had the new menu here and it was so darn delicious.
A special mention of the dimsums, ramen, sushi and the bao. They stand out amongst all when it comes to these preparations. The water chestnut corn on a bed of lettuce was a unique combination and had a blend of flavours.
Their mocktails tasted a little on the Indian side. The Tangra chilli prawns, larb gai salad and the mustard fish were disappointing in taste.
Overall we had a brilliant time.
Went to this place with a bunch of my friends for a weekday dinner to satisfy my pan asian craving and this place never disappoint me.The place have a beautiful interiors with wooden works giving you the feel of having a dinner in Minka .
Recently they have extended their menu and i was glad to have them.
We started of with salads , Som Tom veg is what i would recommend. It is made with raw papaya marinated in mild acetic sauce decorated with cabbage.
I ordered few of the appetisers and all of them tasted almost same. Water chestnuts corn on lettuce bed was something different. I never had this combination before so it was definitely refreshing for me.
Few others to mention were the Spicy Chicken bao,Tangra Chilli prawns , mustard fish and crispy tofu chilli.
My favorite if all was their Sushi platter a must try.
Also their spicy Korean chicken ramen is not a miss.
Their mocktails was a let doen , but you cannot miss their dessert.
The great wall of chocolate cannoli is a must have dessert, with brownie covered with crispy wafers, this has become one of my favorites.
Also their water chestnuts rubies are give a try.
They have good management and great service . The place is full on weekdays too.
If the name doesn’t pique your interest and whet your appetite the food will. We loved the sushi platters both veg and non veggie options. The spicy ramen bowl though delicious blew our head off so do slurp with caution! I had the pad Thai which despite not being the best I’ve had and rather flat (pun intended) was decent. We liked the coconut jaggery ice cream but it was the tapioca in coconut milk that soothed the fires of the ramen and sent us home happy and chubbier 🙃
Nice cozy place, Amazing service and decent food.
One thing that stands out at this place is the service, the staff is very courteous, well informed and very helpful. We went on a Friday evening trying to cleanse our pallate from the routine home cooked and home delivery food and wanted to try something completely different. Thus, we landed at chubby cho and a good decision it was. Although, the food except siracha chicken can be left without highlighting as it was pretty average. The khimchi chicken ramen although quite decent wasn't exceptional. The noodles could have been more flavorful, though the soup was quite nice. The tempura fried prawn uramaki was decent, if you aren't feeling too 'toofani' (adventerous) to try sushi, this dish is a good option. However, still you need to be open minded about trying the new flavours and you'll have a good time here.
All in all, a great place with good food and great service.
Chubby Cho Located in 3rd Floor , Road 45 in Jubilee Hills.
Recently They Revamped their menu and here we went for the food tasting session . They are awarded as Debutante in Pan-Asian Restaurant.
Ambience : They have Vibrant Quirky Interiors with Eastern Vibes .
Talking about Hospitality , they serve Jasmine Tea as a complimentary to each & Every Customers . The Tea was Hot , has great Aroma and flavors of Jasmine.
First we were served with Tom Kha Soup : It is basically " Thai Coconut Chicken Soup" Rich and creamy yet tangy and salty, this Thai coconut chicken soup has light and positively bursting with flavor.
Dragon Roll Sushi :There is shrimp tempura inside the roll, and thinly sliced avocado is placed on top of the roll resembling the scales of a dragon.
The Spicy Chicken Siu Bao : A Cantonese Dim Sum , these were filled with Chicken . The Irresistible steamed bun was soft & Fluffy.
The Chicken & Chilli Oil Dim sum : This was something new for me, the filling were done with Minced Chicken and they were mixed with Chili Oil.
Som Tam Salad : Raw Papaya Based Salad which had a flavor of Sweet , spicy they added nuts for giving it bit crunchy.
Tobanjan Chicken : This is Basically a Japanese Chicken Wings , fermented perfectly as it has bit mild taste because it was tossed in Tobanjan Sauce, the paste is made from Chili Peppers soybean and broad beans pastes.
Ramen , Curried Udon : They were made with fresh Udon Noodles which were very thick , the base of Curry was bit disappointing.
Desserts :
(a) Water Chestnuts Rubies : This dessert was my favorite one ,this is basically a Thai Coconut milk Based Dessert . The pinkish Jelly are water chestnuts with Sago Coating which was sweetened in taste Adding Litchi in it made it perfect.
(b)The Great wall of Cannoli : This Dessert remind me of my childhood days , since this is an Italian -American Dessert . Cannoli was Tube Shaped shells made from Pastries Dough with Whipped cream drizzled with chocolate sauce & Topped with Vanilla Ice-cream.
(c) Naughty Coconut : It was creamy & Smooth in taste with coconut in it would like to suggest one thing to make it more presentable would Garnish the coconut inspite of Cuts of Raw Coconut.
(d) Darsaan with Ice cream : A Chinese Dessert where they use Wonton Strips tossed with Honey & Served with Vanilla Ice-cream . The taste of Wonton strips was crispy , but it could have been more presentable.
If you are a person who love Pan-Asian Cuisines this would be a place where i'll recommend to try your taste buds in this Restaurant ,

One of the best Pan Asian restaurant in Hyderabad.
They're all Asian from scratch.
From scratch as in, the ambience, tiny details like the bowls, the chocsticks, the bamboo windows.etc to the amazing food being served.
Coming to the food, I really enjoyed the mustard fish, uramaki sushis, beef, squid and the chicken Hakka noodles.
Coming to the desserts Naughty coconut and water chestnut were my favourite ones among all of them.
So, chubby cho is highly recommended if you want to have an experience of real Asian food.
Perfect pan asian restaurant in Hyderabad. What we love most about of this place is ,wooden themed dining area and fresh foods.
Perfection in terms of delicious ingredients like salmon, unagi, scallop, pork belly, ramen noodle quality. Exotic vegetables etc.

Hi readers.. Do follow me on Instagram Shagufta Gulnar (afewmoments_22)
After so much hype, reviews and hearing that Chubby Cho has been awarded as the best debutante in Pan Asian restaurants, finally last week planned for this place on week day lunch with bunch of my friends. There I got to know the menu has been relaunched along with some old classics.
Ambiance: I was really fascinated by its vibrant, fun and quirky ambience and interiors with typical oriental vibes. Wooden decors, bamboo shooji windows, cobbled flooring and oriental paraphernalia was giving complete Asian feel.. The place seemed to very photogenic and instaworthy..
.

Food: We tried the food from new curated menu as well as some old classics.
Started with some amazing mocktails like Summer party my personal favorite, The red lotus stem, Go guava gone and many more. Mocktails were not too sweet with excess syrups they were completely refreshing.
1. Tom Kha soup from the new menu, made with coconut milk and herbs. It was absolutely amazing, creamy, aromatic and delicious with small tender Chicken chunks.
Appetizers:
Tried appetizers like, Sriracha chicken, is a must try very well prepared in sriracha sauce neither too spicy nor too sweet. The chicken was juicy and tender and I loved it.
Devil's chicken wings could have been more better the coating was amazing crunchy and spicy the chicken inside was found to be little bit bland.
Pepper cottage cheese, Highly recommended for vegetarians. An excellent appetizer to try out from their menu. The cottage cheese cubes were properly cooked and seasoned in soya sauce, chilly and good flavor of pepper too..
When comes to their tiger prawns packed with flavours and fun having them..
Really enjoyed the baos! And flavorful, hot chicken, veg, prawn dumplings which were steamed to perfection. Chilly and chicken oil is a must try..!
Beside momos they serve amazing n delicious sushi.. Prawn Tempura uramaki is highly recommended.!
When comes to main course tried Chicken hakka noodles, cilantro egg Fried rice both were average but the Ramen bow here should not be missed. Proper balance of broth and noodles with fresh veggies..The more interesting part about this place is we can select the meat option with own choice of sauce.. Isn't really amazing.! Ended the meal with dessert options like
♥️Naughty Coconut: home made jaggery and coconut ice cream.
♥️Water Chestnut Rubies: Delicious coconut milk and chestnut smoothie along with ice cream and litchi. This was truly a treat for dessert lovers.!
Overall it was an amazing experience with excellent hospitality, friendly staff. If you are looking for oriental and Pan Asian cuisine this place would definitely come on top in the list to try out..

It was just a few years ago when Asian cuisine for a regular Indian diner just meant Chinese Manchurian and Noodles but with the rapid globalization and excessive exercise of the taste buds, today’s modern Indian diner has made a trip from China all the way to deep down South of Asia, delving deep into complex yet refreshing flavours of Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and ofcourse Japan and have vested particular interest in the same to such an extent that an amalgamation of these regional favourites evolved into a specific genre of food termed as Pan Asian Cuisine. Its this demand for such exotic flavours which has fueled the inception of a multitude of kitchens all across the city, the most celebrated ones of which in recent times has to be the Pan Asian restaurant, Chubby Cho.
Having recently been winner in the category of Best Regional Pan Asian Restaurant in the Indian Restaurant Awards 2019, Chubby Cho is one such gem who even with passing time has managed to not only retain the popularity garnered over time, but also kep making the place indulgent enough for a myriad others to join in.
Chubby Cho has recently revamped its entire menu to bring in new Pan Asian delicacies as a part of their New Menu. We were invited here for a food tasting. The Tom Kha soup was a classic Thai soup of coconut milk and herbs. The Shanghai Crab Soup was a crab meat soup with a pinch of Sichuan dust. The Dragon Roll had tempura fried shrimp rolled in seaweed and topped with eel and avocado.
Was here for their New Menu Launch. Chubby cho has cozy and Different Ambience. You get Good Pan-Asian Food. Their Ramen’s and Dimsum’s are just Awesome

This was my first visit to the place & already had heard a lot about this place, so was quite excited to try. The first thing that comes in your mind is how vibrant & colorful this place is! I was here for a weekday lunch to try out their new menu.
Started off with the soup:
♥ Tom Kha Chicken Soup: A thin soup classic Thai soup, was good.
♥ Seeweed salad
Starters:
♥ Pepper Cottage Cheese
♥ Prawn tempura uramaki
♥ Devil Chicken Wings: Made in hot sirancha sauce, this tasted perfect.
♥ Sriracha Chicken: Had the perfect amount of spiciness to it!
So I am not a big fan of sushi in general, but this were so good!!!
Dimsums-
♥ Vegetable Bok Choy: The classic dimsum, was thin on the outer part, filled with veggies.
♥ Chicken and Chilli Oil: My fav of the lot!
♥ Spicy Prawn Har Gow
♥ Tangra Chilli Prawns
♥ Tuna tatakt: Looked, real bland, but tasted quite the opposite.
And finally Ramen:
♥ Spicy Korean Shin Ramen(Prawn)
♥ Khow Suey Pork
♥ Spicy kimchi ramen chicken
The Ramens stole the show, I loved the pork one!
♥ Cilantro Egg Fried Rice: This was another fav of mine from the day
♥ Chicken Hakka Noodles
♥ Beef Black Pepper: Loved this dish. Generally, I have seen the beef dishes doesn't cook well, but that was not the case here. Cooked really well.
Desserts:
♥ Naughty coconut
♥ Water Chestnut Rubies
I liked most of the dishes of the place but I definitely gonna visit this place again, just for the sushi & ramens
! Do try out the place for some authentic dishes, cooked to perfection!b
Asian Cuisine is quite different from other cuisines, as it works around your mouth, and after visiting Chubby Cho and trying out their new menu, I have fallen in love with Asian food even more.
The ambiance is totally in sync with the Asian theme, as is the food. Huge seating area, and beautiful decor.
We were served Jasmine Tea at first, and then came the food:
1. SOM TOM VEG SALAD: This was a perfect start to the evening. Loved it.
2. WATER CHESTNUT CORN SALAD: Was a bit dry, but taste wise, really good.
3. CRISPY TOFU CHILLI: This was quite new for me, as I've never tried tofu before. It's a must try starter, crispy from the outside, soft on the inside 🤩.
4. CHICKEN CORIANDER DIMSUM: One of the best kind of dimsums I've ever had. These looked so cute 😍, and were properly cooked.
5. BAOS: We had Paneer Bao and Spicy Chicken Bao. The buns were sweet, spongy, and sooooo good😋. The filling was spicy, but so delicious.
6. RAMEN: They use premium quality Korean ramen noodles, Jin Ramen and Kimchi Ramen. I am a huge fan of these noodles, especially because of the bouncy texture. The soup was so fresh and the flavours, I mean, WOW! 🍜
7. LARB GAI: This was disappointing. It was very dry and I just didn't like the flavour.
8. URAMAKI: Uramaki is a kind of inside-out sushi, where the rice is outside and the Nori (sea weed) is inside. Chubby Cho has done a great job with their variety of sushi options. My favourite was the PRAWN URAMAKI🍤🍣.
9. MUSTARD FISH: This was another great starter. I'd say it was a little too oily, but that's okay😄.
- - -Desserts - - -
1. THE GREAT WALL OF CHOCOLATE CANNOLI
2. NAUGHTY COCONUT
3. WATER CHESTNUT RUBIES
All the desserts were good, but my favourite was Chocolate Cannoli. It's a melt in the mouth dish, HIGHLY RECOMMEND ❤️.
Overall, Chubby Cho has my heart. Another check✔️ in my bucket list of places to eat in Hyderabad. Chef @chefddsharma was so humble, and has a great knowledge of Japanese cuisine.

Chubby cho is an iconic pan Asian restaurant setup beautifully in the serene area of Jubilee Hills. I heard a lot before my visit and I must say it was totally worth its hype. Situated in the same building of Fat pigeon, the place has got a really vibrant and a classy setup.
I was here one fine evening to try out some of their items from the newly launched menu. The specially curated menu was much more comprehensive and had a really good addition of items to it.
To begin with, I had their Som tom veg salad and Larb gai salad. The som tom veg salad gave a refreshing start to the evening with a really good balance of sweet and spicy to it. The larb gai salad was made with minced chicken, onions and fresh herbs. Overall, it was a decent preparation.
For appetizers, I was in for a treat. I had their Crispy tofu chilli, assorted sriracha mushroom, water chestnut corn on lettuce bed, devil chicken wings, hot basil chicken and mustard fish.
Crispy chilli tofu- The tofu was super soft and had a wonderful crispy coating to it. Tossed in a mildly spice chilli sauce, it was a great snack to munch on to.
Assorted sriracha mushroom- This one had a great balance of sweet and spice to it. The mushrooms were tossed in a moderate spiced sriracha sauce. Great dish overall.
Water chestnut corn on lettuce bed- This dish was quite simple yet another great addition to the menu. The overall combination of fresh water chestnuts, peas and corn worked very nicely.
Devil chicken wings- The chicken wings were super moist and juicy. I would have to say that it was one of the best appetizer of the evening. Must try.
Hot basil chicken- The chicken was well cooked and had a clean, balanced flavour. I somehow felt that there was a slight extra salt into it. I hope that they will work upon that aspect.
Mustard fish- The fish was super soft and yummy. I just loved the way it was prepared. The fish was well seasoned in Dijon mustard dressing which gave a very robust yet delicious flavour.
For mains, I had their paneer twister bao, spicy chicken siu bao, spicy Korean shin chicken ramen and curried udon ramen.
The baos were a slight disappointment for me. I have had bao at numerous places but they offered a really ordinary bao bun which was too sticky. Maybe, it required a bit more time to steam. The filling was also average. They can work slightly on their bao.
The ramen bowls were super good. My personal favourite had to be their spicy Korean shin chicken ramen. The best part about this place is that they procure the ingredients fresh and even the noodles used by them have a specific quality standard. Usually, they are procured from Korea which ensures that a person gets authentic ramen bowls. Much appreciated.
For sushi, I had their different variants ranging from seaweed to crab meat but my personal favourite was their seaweed sushi. It is definitely recommended.
To end things on a sweet note, I had their chocolate cannoli and naughty coconut ice cream. The cannoli was just perfect. Fresh puff pastry had a really nice filling of cream and chocolate with fresh ice cream. Next up, their naughty coconut ice cream was also superb. It was a coconut and a jaggery based ice cream which had a really good balance of coconut and the jaggery. The amount of sweetness was moderate and just perfect for my palate.
All in all, I have to say that this place amazed me with its comprehensive appetizers, spicy chicken ramen bowl and desserts. The chef is really passionate about his work and takes pride in whatever he does. Overall, a highly recommended place. Happy eating. :)
‘They serve Ramen’ the three magical words that made me run over to this restaurant.
If you’re into anime and k-dramas then you’d know that there’s nothing more fascinating than oriental food and the art of using chopsticks.
Bonding over chopsticks (aka desperately trying to seem like a pro at using them but secretly using your hands to stuff a dumpling in your mouth when no one is paying attention)
The ramen bowls are big and by that I mean HUGE. You can’t really finish it by yourself (if you can, are you a sumo wrestler?) so make sure you keep that in mind when ordering them.
The dim sums are quite decent as well.
The ambience could have been made more authentic to give the whole oriental vibes but it was okay regardless.
It was a last minute decider and I liked the ambience. Service was decent. I wish staff would invest a little more time understanding customer needs and advice accordingly.. they were perplexed when asked what's the best sold item 😂 I later had to explain what I'm looking for as it's a bit hard to remember the names..
The taste was good. I ordered some rice bowl with a lot of veggies sauteed and served in sauce.. along with ordered a lemonade mocktail.. both were good. The quantity is so good that your stomach would be full..
One of the best restaurants in Hyderabad that serves East Asian dishes in my opinion. Highly recommend it to all my Northeast brothers and sisters who are staying in Hyderabad if you miss the home made food(iykyk). Dishes were all reasonably priced and taste was top-notched, good customer service and the interior and ambience of the restaurant was excellent for family and friends to dine in-cozy and warm.
It was a busy Sunday afternoon, to say the least! Chubby Cho was bustling with an energy of those enjoying their Sunday brunch/lunch at this Asian themed restaurant.
Excellent interiors with authentic touches like being served tea before beginning a meal, chopsticks to enjoy your meal in and a range of traditional asian flavours to choose from.
We ordered a couple of sushi plates (crab and prawn) which were refreshing and well prepared. The crab had a unique texture unlike anything I had tasted before and contrasted well with the wasabi/soya dip for that traditional sushi mouthful. (Similar to feeding on a gol guppa and relishing the senses on your taste buds. Interestingly, something new as to me was the fact you can get your Ramen bowl split so you can experience more variety! We then finished our meal with a Spicy Chicken Ramen Bowl which really had some kick to it. While my friend wasn't able to get through all of the spice concoction residue and finish his bowl in entirety due to the spice level, he enjoyed the egg, chicken and noodle combination with all it had to offer. We will be careful to clarify the spice level a bit better the next time we visit. Also, not sure if that is standard spice for the Japanese or was the Ramen adapted keeping in mind a localised palate need? (Read: Telangana Spice/Guntur Chilly benchmarks)
The service was a tad bit slow, despite the crowd getting less as we completed our meal - but overall the staff was kind and provided appropriate recommendations.
The ambience was excellent and we look forward to our next visit to try the variety of dishes available at Chubby Cho! Highly recommended for those looking for Asian food.
The atmosphere and vibe here is very good. We ordered korean spicy ramen and Japanese ramen. Both were having very amazing broth although Korean was quite spicy so if you cannot tolerate try to avoid it. The veg option in ramen is not that amazing as compared to non veg option.. Definitely a must visit place if want to try asian food.
So, i went there one more time.. seems the memu got Little changed. Ordered another version of Japanese Ramen which was different but amazing in taste. Ordered fried fish garlic which was just so amazing. Then also ordered Lemonade which was good too. The vibe here is same as always.
Upon entering Chubby Cho, I was immediately drawn in by its lively and energetic ambiance. The vibrant decor, combined with upbeat music and friendly staff, created a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. The restaurant's modern and chic design added to the overall dining experience, setting the stage for a memorable meal.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food. Chubby Cho's fusion cuisine offers a unique blend of flavors, combining elements from different culinary traditions to create truly innovative and mouthwatering dishes. The menu boasted a diverse range of options, catering to various dietary preferences and preferences for both meat lovers and vegetarians.
The Banana Tempure was enjoyable, it didn't necessarily stand out as a unique or extraordinary dessert. The flavors were pleasant, but they didn't leave a lasting impression or offer a particularly innovative twist. It was a classic combination of bananas and ice cream with familiar toppings.
Went here for lunch. The staff gave decent recommendations. The sushi and dumplings were good. Their starters come in decent portions. The Asian ambience of the place is quiet appealing. When going on the weekend make a reservation in prior. Their valet service is also good.

Amazing ambiance with crazy Asian food!
"Spicy Korean Ramen" -- must try!
This place has my heart and i love the food here, I was craving Asian food in Hyderabad and this one was long due. Must say food service and the ambience is quite excellent. Thank you for serving the amazing food @chubby cho chefs. Kudos to the entire team !

We can try all type of authentic Ramen , sushis 🍣 and dumplings and more
We have ordered.
1. Manchow soup - seafood
2. Chilli butter garlic prawns
3. Chicken coriander - dumplings
4. Chicken with hot basil
The manchow soup was top notch.. the best soup I ever had.
The ambiance and seating is quiet decent and welcoming.
The services are excellent and the staff are friendly and would assist with the selection of the menu.
It’s a great place to visit with family and friends.
I'd highly recommend to check your bill before paying. My bill included service charge and an item that I cancelled and wasn't served. Of course, these both were taken off the bill after I pointed out.
Cocktails (hot mango and blue pea tonic) were fine. I'd rather not order the next time.
Silken Tofu nigiri, salmon nigiri and crunchy prawn uramaki were delicious. Shout out to tofu served here! It's exceptional and melts-in mouth good.
Chicken spicy bao certainly lived up to it's name. Super spicy for my taste buds. The bread part was fluffy, airy and tasted really good.
Bibimbap was average. I'd rather try the other rice bowls here.
Som Tum Salad - I asked for a less spicy version; They entirely skipped chillies and I was served an extremely sweet salad. Taste was below par.
Great restaurant with a unique atmosphere. They really put effort into their theme and it is evident, as you really get the japanese aura from the place and food. The food, albeit a little expensive , is well made and delicious. A gpod variety of asian cuisine, with a well rounded assortment of drinks. Would recommend for family lunch/dinner
Place intresting.
Food ok (portions small, for plate some dumplings 4pc something like 600rs)
Intresting experience, but for me one time place.
