If you’re looking for some authentic Hyderabadi breakfast which is normally a heavy one the head to this iconic spot of old city, must try- bheja fry and paya with naan.
One of the famous Old city joints offering authentic Hyderabadi dishes. This has been one of the iconic places since ages. This joint is open from 4 am in the morning to late midnight. They serve one of the best Breakfast dishes. As busy as it could be, the tables are always occupied and the place is not tidily maintained.
Tried their Biryanis couple of times and was very impressed. As a part of our Old city Breakfast outing, initiated our breakfast from here. We settled down to order their Signature Dishes Malai Paya, Bhaji Gurda, Bheja Masala, Nahari and Butter roti. Single Nahari portion divided among three was very much in quantity. The flavor was bang on with the right flavor through out.The Malai Paya was delicious and the flavor of the malai and the stickiness of the Paya could be felt in every bite. The portion was very much suffice for 3 people. The Bhaji gurda was excellent and the bhaji being prepared with the leafy vegetables gave a unique flavor to the dish. The gurda pieces were very less and we had to ask the server to get additional pieces( he did not charge for them though). The Bheja masala was bang on, with the tenderness of the bheja and lip smacking masala. The rotis were piping hot and thoroughly enjoyable with all of the curries. Their other Breakfast options too are drool worthy!
Nothing beats the gastronomical extravaganza early in the morning. The super thin butter naan, malai paya and kheema.
"We didn't know we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun."
Been to dis place one month back after hearing so much about their malai paya..skip the ambiance..if you love hyderabadi food will definitely enjoy the food..we ordered malai paya, tandoori roti, chicken dum biryani..malai paya tastes super yumm..will soon try other dishes too
The best Bheja fry to eat in Hyderabad, which cannot be find anywhere....
An age old restaurant serving some of the rarely available dishes.. quick services, amazing taste.. a perfect place to experience authentic cuisines.. however if you are looking for a luxurious dining, this is not the place for you
Malai paya- a must try
Will definitely visit over again to try out the other dishes..
P.S.
Mutton Dalcha- available only on Friday
Keema- available from 2.30 AM - 10.00 AM
The hotel is near Madina circle. The best place to have these kind of food as breakfast in the early morning. One must try the food really tasty
Liked the chicken curry with two kinds of gravies. The staff was polite enough to customise the food for my friends from another country
For the time ever, I had nahari as a curry. With butter naan it was out of the universe. Their mutton biryani was a super duper hit too.
The ambience isn't great. But who cares when the food is all that you've always cared for.
Do try!
been here around 5-6am and ordered malai paaya, kheema masala, bheja fry and naan, all are good malai paya could be better and also better to reduce the colour in it.
too much crowd, no cleaning on tables, better to get takeaway.
Where to start with
Amazing breakfast choices with authentic baji gurda, bheja fry ,kheema and romali
All where amazing and tasty, nothing to complain about.
To finish it we had the irani chai with kesar
Which they call it as kesar chai
Great food
Great place
Dont miss it
Restaurant looks small and older but it had amazing food stuffs to must try. I had Chicken Majestic, Malai Paaya masala and butter naam. I really enjoyed the yummy taste of Chicken Majestic, nicely and flavourful preparation. And at last finished with Kesar Chai, restaurant is known for.
Well, you can eat Biryani almost 24x7 at this place!
You get Paya, Paya Masala, Bheja fry, Kheema masala, and almost any Hyderabadi Breakfast from 02:30 in the morning!
But I would suggest you to eat Paya from 03:30! Most of the times I felt it was very tasty after 03:30!
If you're going with a group of 4+ people, then you need to order these for sure - Paya Masala, Kheema, Bheja, Paya for sure!
The prices are reasonable and they accept ONLY CASH!
Food - 5/5
Ambience - 2/5

After a long wait - I recently got to visit this legendary place with a big group of friends. More people means more dishes - so we ordered two portions of malai paya & two portions of bheja fry. It was just out of the world and I can't wait to go back and have the same again.
Been to this place for early breakfast.
Ordered butter naan with malai paya.
Tastes superb.
Most of them ordered Bheja fry, puri and paya.
huge crowd@ 7 am.
Overall worth a try.
Legendary place near Charminar area specially for breakfast.. their malai paya is the best selling item and we ordered that along with some naan. Food was good..i liked the gravy of paya quite a lot. Quantity is generous. They also sell some square naan which looked good. Their kesar tea is amazing. Pricing is cheap.Very crowded all the time. They are running almost all through day.
Best hotel near charminar , hd tried kheema and gurda bhaji along with roomali roti all wr too awsm , must visit if ur nearby charminar nd really very pocket friendly
Be it a late night dinner or early morning breakfast or any time of the day
And when you have these strong desire / cravings for perfect non veg food this is the place to go
Their malai paya and bheja fry are to die for
And not only in Ramzan season but this place serves good food through out the year
And their biryani has little extra masala but it tastes very good
And the crazy part is that it is open 24/7 😍

"A gem of Hyderabadi cuisine"
Hotel nayaab is legendary place of nizami tastebuds ,it's mostly busy throughout the Ramadan season I recently visited this hotel during Ramadan was absolutely delighted with its delectable nizami food
My takes
Paya :well it has to be the one of the best dishes to try which has succulent meat which just enhances the dish even more appetizing
Beja fry : as soon as you have a bite it melts as butter the flavours of the dish is unique in its own
With them I had tandoori roti which was a lovely combo to opt
The restaurant was doesn't have much of an ambiance. I heard about this place that It is famous for Nonveg Breakfast. As NV lover i want to try it. Overall i am satisfied with the food...
I ordered Kesari Chai, Bheja Fry, Mutton Kheema and Butter Nans.
Item wise rating in my Point of view
Kesari Chai: 4/5
Bheja Fry: 5/5
Kheema Fry: 3.5/5 (Tomato Flavour was dominating Kheema Flavour)
Butter Nan: 3/5
Tried paya and egg pudding. Loved the taste of paya, it was really delicious. They also have a AC restaurant but ambience is not great.
Service 2.5/5
Food 4/5
Ambience 2/5
Amazing place.
Been here for seher tried dalcha, roti with bheja fry, kheema masala and nayab special chicken all of them were excellent and the biryani mutton was also perfect.
Overall a perfect food place for food lovers . Pricing is worthy.
Our Nayaab experience was beyond epic. All my dreams came true in 45 mins flat. Visited Nayaab in the last week of Ramzan 2019, that is May end. Of course the entire place was bustling with people.
The restaurant doesn't have much of an ambiance. It's very basic. We were lucky to big sitting right next to a huge fan type of a cooler, just around the entrance. They mentioned that there was a family section indoors but we preferred to stick to the first table we caught.
Food wise
Nayaab is famous for its kesar chai, hot roomalis and square naans, bheja fry, paya. Everything costs between inr 120-200 per dish.
1. Bheja fry : too amazing. Semi gravy, reddish gravy, delicious with their hot rotis. One serving would be enough for one person 5/5
2. Bheja masala : this a brown based gravy, also good but my first choice would be the bheja fry 4/5
3. Gurda : all the curries are different and really yummy, meat quantity is good. Do not miss this as it is not available easily in other places 4/5
4. Paya : this is a relatively bigger dish, about 4-5 pieces. Great marination. I would suggest roti or khichdi as an accompaniment 4.5/5
5. Mutton chaap : or mutton chops, brown gravy. Also a relatively larger portion like the paya. 4/5
6. Breads/naans/rotis : cannot stop thinking about these. So hot and fresh. All just melted in our mouths. Top choice would be roomalis, then tandoori, then their famous square Naan. 5/5
7. Kesar chai : I was too full for chai, but my friends highly recommend this as well 5/5
We paid about INR 200 per person for this brilliant meal. Peak value for money. It just cannot get better than this. Service was quick so was the table turnover.
Looking forward to return very soon.

I was on a Ramzan Food Walk with my friends , and true to its name , Nayaab will be in my list now whenever I would visit Charminar Area, although we couldn’t lay hands on the square naan , but our spread was really delicious, the butter naans were wafer thin yet soft , the paya malai masala was perfectly cooked , the dum chicken masala was an amazing mix of succulent chicken pieces & gravy. The ambience also is quite decent.
Was here couple of days ago during our Ramadan food walk. This was our first stop.
We ordered -
Bheja fry
Malay paya
Tandoori roti
Bheja fry was so chunky, so delicious. It was perfect.
Malay Paya was amazing. The gravy was so rich, flavorful and scrumptious. It was finger licking good.
Had to finish it up with a dessert - egg pudding it was. Not a big fan of it.
If you're looking for a place serving amazing hyderabadi delicacies at affordable prices, this place is for you. You won't regret visiting them.
It was like ticking a bucket list item, being at Charminar during Ramadan to taste the exquisite food that this place offer. I went with my family and a friends who were from Hyderabad
Having read about this non fancy place had very high expectations for the food and boy they lived upto it. We ordered for dum ka mutton, tala hua gost, bheja fry and malai paya along with roti and rumali. Just one word..AWESOME..be it the delicate paya,or the melting tala hua gost or the exquisite bheja or the flavourful dum the taste just grows on you and liger for a long time. We ordered for the biryani which was also outstanding. Hope.we had a Hyperloop between Pune and Hyderabad and wish I could travel every day. Hats of to the City of Nizams
3 AM in de morning.. 30 kms away... And still you are excited... Wat else can it b if not food.. Yes.. I was nt dreaming..
Definitely not a place wer u can expect ambience.. It s an old hyderabadi store in t he old city... The place is dirty but who cares..
Service s really fast as people come n go out in heaps... Wat was surprising was de crowd at dat time and the people working made me think if i had crossed the seas and entered a region of a completely different time zone..
The food was obviously delicious.. Obviously because after seein so many people throngin in I realised dat t s somethin which doesnot come out as a shock.. Bheja fry and bhaji gurda was a delight.. But i missed kheema... There is always a second chance.. *fingers crossed*
Rotis and breads : tandoori roti
Main course : bheja fry, bhaji gurda
Service : 3
Food : 5
Value for money : 4
Overall : 4
Bottomline : Aur ek "nayaa"b experience
Came across this restaurant in curly tales and thought of giving a try . Travelled 14 long kilometres on a Saturday evening for this restaurant . Face a bit difficulty in finding out restaurant, it is beside pista house in Ghanzi bazar near Charminar .
Malai paya : we called restaurant before hand to ensure it is available . He has confirmed that restaurant opens at 4 A.M and closes at 1 A.M and throughout it is available . Malai paya just melted in our mouths . Loved it .
Tandoori Roti : expected it would be hard but to our surprise it was soft and very tasty 👌
Mutton biriyani : not too spicy perfect blend of all the spices . Must try .
There is nothing about ambience . place is maintained clean and neat . The family section is separate .
Will definitely visit this restaurant once again to try their beja fry . It costed only 410 bucks for two people 🤩🤩
Tandoor roti
Butter naan
Dalcha
Kheema
Dum ka chicken
Rice
Bhaja fry
Early morning 3:00 sehar . Loved the food . Must try. Surly I will recommend
Liked the zafrani chai, mutton curry and haleem here. Try the khameeri roti with the curry. It's different. The haleem was one of the best I had in Hyderabad. Would recommend this place.
Been here for breakfast. Selected Malai Paya & Butter Naan. Malai Paya was tasty but disappointing, because all the marrow was dissolved in the curry, and we got less Paya meat to eat. But the gravy was lip-smacking and creamy. On the other hand, butter naan was fresh and hot. The moment they served it, the aroma of butter hit us. Naan was so buttery, you can eat it alone.
Will Visit them again soon to try their other breakfast items such as bheja fry, gurda and kheema.
Assalamualaikum warahmatulahi was bara ka tu hu your hotel is best your Zomato aapwill in hight from Dubai Mumbai Kolkata Khammam
And banglour
Set your alarms to wake up early with a group to full start with mutton stew with a naan. It’s paya at Nayaaab!!
The best paya soup or shorba I can say in hyderabad with alots of spices and mouth burning hot! Recommanded to have with a naan which is also hot available only in the mornings. You also get puri and kichidi with a variety of chicken and mutton curries in the early morning. Mutton kheema and bhazi gurdha The rates are very affordable. We should try the biryani also here available from afternoon. The irani tea is also very good.
The service was too quick and the place to good for a small group of friends to try the spices and hog on having meat. The ambiance is good looks small from out but enough to seat and serve many. Bookmark this place and one should try this place for sure.
Nice kababs tanduri n grill items, old times- from 80’s it was only one famous name for haleem n Nahari
Still it is famous coz of taste n hygiene
I Love Shammi kababs n patthar ka gosht
Quality food, tastes delicious awesome n aroma of spices makes U more hungry
Perfectly balance of spices in biryani
I just loved it
Eat your breakfast like an Asli Hyderabadi!
With lots of noise around brunches and breakfast at cafe's this place has been hidden among the foodie community.
Ambience doesn't excite me much but the food here does. Located in narrow lanes of old city this cafe operates from dusk to dawn.
Mostly known for it's early morning breakfast this place also serves pocket friendly Hyderabadi Biryani. I visited this place in the early hours to have breakfast.
🍽️ Paya soup with Naan and Malai Paya with tandoori roti were our choices.
Lamb trotters are simmered for long hours to make them tender along with spices to make the Paya soup. Soup when complimented with Naan turns be to be an excellent breakfast.
Malai Paya is altogether different variant of Paya soup. It's not soupy like Paya but looks like any typical restaurant curry. Tender Lamb trotters in the creamy gravy along with tandoori roti was lip smacking. Tandoori Roti was all maida which disappointed me a bit.
After long time We visited this restaurant on Saturday mid night they served excellent biryani at late night also, it is old restaurant before separation shadab also part of this. They served excellent food especially biryani with superb aroma and flavour.
I have heard a lot about this place at ghansi bazaar on the way to Charminar. It is especially known for its Kesar chai.
I had one single chicken biryani which was good with all the necessary flavours of the spices.
I had the Kesar chai which was amazing and one could feel the Kesar flavour.
It was a good experience and I would rate this place as
Food - 4/5
Ambience - 3/5
Service - 4/5
Well , as a newbie in the City of Nizam's , I've always wanted to explore the night life and local food and there came a day when both of em came together.
I was taken around old city by a few colleagues and we landed up here at around 3pm or so.
Before I tell you anything, lemme make it clear that I come from Chennai where the city's night life is close to 0.
Driving past the entrance of the place my face suddenly frowned while the shutters were all closed and when my boss's car took a turn and entered a small street I became inquisitive.
That's exactly when I knew we were gonna make an entry through the Kitchen of the place and I have to say that the moment I stepped in, my olfactory sensors were saturated with the aroma of Spices and flavours.
We slowly passed by keenly observing whats going on , took a table. From what I expected, the place was decent and bearably neat.
What we had :
Mutton Paya - flavourful
Sheermaal - Bread had with Paya.
Butter Naan
Tandoori Roti was huge and so soft.
Bheja fry
Bhaji Gourda
The taste of the dishes felt really good and authentic and left me Wow.
Lastly we had Badam chai which was one deadly drink to bring a midnight meal to end. With the richness of Badam and Energy of the chai, Badam chai is something that instantly became my favourite.
One more place that I have found in Hyderabad where we can get the best authentic Hyderabadi Biryani. This restaurant is located at Ghansi bazaar near Charminar. Though it doesn't have a great and well ordered ambience, it will win your hearts for it's food.
We have ordered Hyderabadi Dum biryani full and it easily fulfilled the appetite of 2 adults. Biryani was Soo yummy and rice cooked very well. Without even tasting I just fallen for the small from the biryani. And also the chicken in biryani was cooked very good and it was literally melting in your mouth.
So when you visit Charminar next time do try the biryani from this hotel. You will really enjoy the taste of it. And the cost is soo reasonable that you can get a single chicken biryani just for Rs.90/- and anyone can afford for it. I'm looking forward to taste more varieties, specially nawabi food from this restaurant.
Awesome food at Nayaab... enjoyed the talawa Gosht, malai paya and the famous Kesar Tea...
Chicken 65 was also awesome.. feeling hungry ar night visit Nayaab
One of the topmost hotel in the old city.Food will be hygiene and tasty. It will be worth your money. One more point, Rocky and mayur from LIVING FOODZ had visited this hotel for their breakfast.
Nayaab...I find it most unique place in Hyderabad....as they serve pure Hyderabad Cuisine....Here I tried gurda bhaji, Malai Paya is a must try, Mutton Biryani is also very good here.
The place is known for its authentic nawabi food.
One of the lovely food at the restaurant is their paya soup.Valye for money and authenticity.
Old city, old traditional taste- nothing exciting.
Doesn't pamper the taste buds as expected
Was there for breakfast.. Sheermal is good roti was better, keema was good but not the paya or nihari
Service 4/5

A true gem famous for its authentic hyderabadi food. Located in ghansi bazar, old city.
Whenever I am in a mood of eating bheja fry and talahuwa ghost, the only place that comes to my mind is this place. At my last visit tried my asusual tasting dishes, at first tried their talahuwa ghost, which was luscious in taste and then ordered their bheja fry, which was outstanding in taste and also tried their chicken 65, which was good too. Furthermore, tried their chicken biryani, which was ok and at last ended our meal with zeera rice and dal fry.
best taste good quality but very less quantity in chicken masala
good taste , good masala in biryani rice
One of the Oldest hotel in Old City..,
Not gr8 Ambience but provides great delicacies of Hyderabad.
Must Try are their Paya, Bheja Fry, Biryani, Poori Sabji & not to miss their Kesar Chai..,
Paya with Naan tastes amazing..,
Bheja Fry was Okiesh for me.
Poori Sabji perfect fit for breakfast.
Kesar Chai - a must try & best one in city.
good but it should be more better
improve boneless mutton in mutton biryani, getting only bones
good service by mohammed and management
Good quantity, reasonable price. The most important quick delivery.
Have had mutton fried rice from this place by ordering through Zomato and frankly speaking I wasnt disappointed. Although the taste is above average, the parcel was packed well and reached me hot. The mutton & vegetable quantity is more than adequate and the rice is not much oily--Kudos for this.
My suggestion for the ordered dish: Make it a little bit saltier.
nice service... good. thank you. zomato

Nayaab Hotel is featured in the legendary outlets in Hyderabad. The place is located near the famous Shadab Hotel in Ghansi Bazaar.
I had been here multiple times with friends. Recently, I had visited the place for breakfast. I had Gurda Bhaji, Bheja and Kesar Chai.
The Gurda Bhaji was awesome, Bheja was perfectly cooked and Kesar Chai is their famous all over the city.

Ordered bheja masala tandoori roti and chicken biryani.
Bheja masala was sooo satisfying from the aroma it self.
Tandoori roti were perfect.
Chicken biryani was disappointing. It lacked spice.
thank you for on time delivery and the taste is awesome
thanks to zomato for understanding in all situation

A great place for Authentic Hyderabadi cuisine. The biryani, the bhaji gurda, bheja fry, lassi....etc are the delishes here. It is located near madina building and gas a very solid reputation in terms of taste. Various actors have visited this place in the past and it holds up it's reputation. Great place to have Hyderabadi Cuisine and a must visit!
A little tired by the end of the day and a little more dissatisfaction with the way our first day evening went (due to lack of proper plannig), on our way back to the room, we decided that we will plan the Day-2 properly and stick to the schedule. So according to our sketch we started the day with breakfast at Nayaab in Ghansi Bazaar, Charminar.
This was another place highly recommended for breakfast. I was told that they open as early as 4 am and serve throughout the day upto 11 pm. We were there by 8 and we already knew what to order. Since both of us aren't fan of brain fry, we decided to skip that. A portion of Malai paya (Rs.200), kheema (Rs.90), tandoori roti (Rs.12) & butter naan(Rs.30) were our orders. Malai paya was love at first sight for me :) That fiery red masala base was lip smackingly delicious. Completely different from the paya we get here. And that Malai really helped in bringing down the heat a bit :) Kheema was good but give a choice, I would lean towards the kheema from Shah Ghouse. This somewhat lacked a balance in the spices. Finished off with a thick kesar chai aka saffron chai (Rs.25) which was the perfect way to end the first breakfast session :) A friend who joined us later ordered naan & bheja fry (Rs.140) and we were told that bheja fry was yummy.
Paid 600 bucks for all these which was absolutely worth the money.
mutton and nayaab and heaven😙
its gud bt chicken quantity is less
need to develop your location google the driver unable to find the delivery address
the order was good. but it took 1 hour took to deliver from confirming order. the delivery man arrived in correct time
Biryani taste was very good!!

Excellent Delivery, On time
it's was fast and good delivery
food is really good & low cost
Service is very good I like the food thank you
biryani was plain... no masala or spices. should improve that.
Hotel Nayaab is a very Famous and old place in old city near Madina building Nayaab is a typical Hyderabadi restaurant which serves everything from breakfast to dinner. The breakfast u can get it right from 3:00 am in the morning through the back door entry of the restaurant and the main door entry opens at 4:00 am. U can get paya, bhaiji gurda, kheema, paya masala and much more and throughout the day they serves regular India Chinese, muglai cuisines. Thr breakfast is very famous and the taste also is very good and the lunch and dinner are also fine because I havent been thr much for lunch and dinner most of the time was thr for breakfast.
Ambience is just okay service is quick and pricing too is minimal which doesn't effects ur pocket. Another thr kesari chai is also very famous and it's really very good.
Went to this place, on Sunday early morning, after reading some good reviews on online
If u prefer hygiene over taste then don't go to this place
Food- Ordered paya and bheja fry, expectation was high but was disappointed with average taste. Their Kesar chai is very good, must try
Ambience- Quite simple, and definitely unhygienic
Service- Not so good, I had to ask multiple times to take my order
Cost- It's light on pocket around 400 for 2
P.S- Please count your bill itemwise before giving money
If ur bored of drinking normal tea in any cafe's in hyderabad, Just make an effort and try the Zafrani Chai or ( Kesar Tea ) the specialty of this hotel.
A must try Bheja fry , Bhaji Gurfa ( liver ), Mutton masala.
Biryani awesome.. dam ka chicken awesome.. coffee nice.value for money. Quantity and quality also best. Must try restaurant near sarl Jung museum

Special Paya Masala, Bheja Fry and Bheja Masala with Butter Naan are their signature dishes. The Paya Masala and Bheja Masala is very tasty. Don't expect great ambience and hygiene, be rest assured with the taste. This restaurant is open all night and serves hot food.
Oldest Irani hotel in Hyderabad near charminar.
Open almost 24hrs serving food n always crowded.
Chai ,paya, bheja, biryani are few things to try .
Paya is served al day with naan and must have followed by chai.
Parking is an issue here and ambience is below avg.
Better to go in the midnight to have food peacefully.
Priced very reasonable with express service.
It's a regular & decent restaurant in terms of ambiance, service & hygiene. A lot better than many other restaurants near Charminar. About food - I ordered Paya masala as it was in my wishlist since long. In fact, I actually went here to eat Paya only. There aren't many restaurants in Hyderabad which have this legendary dish i.e. paya in their menu. My first ever experience with the trotters was just amazing. These trotters had a gelatinous texture & the gravy was delicious as hell. I had it with tandoori rotis. They have a lot of other dishes in the menu. The best part is that those who aren't big eaters or don't want to over eat or waste food, can order single portions. Overall an economical restaurant. Total damage incurred was Rs.240. Definitely a must visit. (Y)

Casual dining place but heaven for non veg food lovers. I visited this place last Saturday and had one of the best meals after a long time.
I kept my orders simple with chicken masala, butter naan and chicken nahari (which is available only on saturdays). The chicken masala looked rich but tasted awesome with medium spice level. The naans were soft and the smell of the butter makes one salivating. The nahari was perfectly made which has the royal touch and the expertise of the chef.
Do not expect a great deal of ambiance. Just go to enjoy the food without burning a hole in the pocket. Wilp come back more often.
If you love non-veg dishes, then just GO HERE. Typical non-veg restaurant for casual dinning.
Behja fry, paya, roti are just awesome in breakfast. Try the famous Lukmi stuffed with meat, which is lesser known these days.
Price is less. Place gets crowded during lunch & dinner time. Crowd isn't upscale, so don't expect professionalism in service.
Nayaab is perfect place for breakfast. Here I have tried mutton masala, tandoori roti, chicken Biryani and kesari tea. Mutton masala was little bit oily but very tasty. Tandoori roti was served hot. It was crisp and hot. Chicken biriyani was very good at quantity and taste also. I think it's probably only where you can find kesari tea which is really awesome in taste. Service was very fast.
I had kesar tea,chicken biriyani ,egg pudding,tea
About food quality: gud
About serving : in a very indecent manner
About place : very untidy
About food taste : very very tasty
Overall gud for parcel or take away
• Chaotic traffic
• Tight parking space
• Typical hyderabadi hotel
• Café ambience
• Heavy crowd , lots of chat
• Order: Dhumka chicken (Super liked it)
• Chicken biryani (Good)
• Chai (Kadak, liked it)
I didn't expect this hotel to be so delicious. Definitely recommended
WOW!!! Had an awesome Bheja Fry ever. Feels like refreshment.. Every foodie will love to eat... we ordered 2 bheja fries initially... couldn't resist da taste and ordered 3 more .. PETH BHAR GAYA, MAGAR DIL NAHI BHARA....
Let me tellya its almost open for 24hrs..... Wat to order... Paya masala, bheja fry, mutton masala check for malai ur taste buds with go crazy and paya shorba with sheermal, then order Biryani... If u have space in ur tummy.... Don't forget to relish the whole experience with Kesar Chai....
Paradise For Non Vegetarians. Nice Ambiance. Good Service. Went here with friend as someone recommend this for morning breakfast. Must have Bheja Fry & Bhaji Gurda As told by him. Vegetarians have very limited options but are equally delicious. The rate at which it offers the taste is awesome. Visit If you want to try real Hyderabadi taste..!
Been there for the first time and before this, I never really preferred Hyderabadi Biryani, but after having it here at Hotel Nayaab, I loved the Chicken Biryani!! Though it was a little spicy, I had it with the raita and ir was perfect. I cleaned up the plate and handi. Then I had egg pudding which was light and just perfect for a dessert after a heavy biryani!
I plan to go again whenever I can!
Awesome food soul satisfying. Best bheja fry and roti i ever had in a long time. Everything and anything you eat is just pure taste. Chicken masala was also very tasty and the staff were helpful and polite. They have a different seating for family. Ambience does'nt matter when the food is good.
One of the oldest and the best restaurant in dusy street in madina area best part is they open at 4 am in morning Keema , paya , zaban , gurda , biryani and chai
I haven't visited this place yet, but just by looking at the photographs I can definitely say that all the food items served are yummy and mouth watering and unique especially the kheema, nully ghosht, tala hua ghosht and bheja. You must visit this place.
We visited this restaurant as a part of the Old City Tour. The restaurant was simple with not too fancy old furnishing, what you can expect from a normal restaurant in one of the oldest cities of the country. The food however was amazing. We hogged the Haleem, Paya Masala and Biriyanis filled with succulent Chicken Pieces which melted in our mouths. The Kesar Chai was one of best chais we've ever had..we had filled tummies and happy faces. Kudos to the team and a must visit place for food lovers!
Happened to visit this place this afternoon on the way to charminar. As soon as I saw it, remembered all the reviews on Zomato so I enquired with a shop keeper if it is the same legendary place for kesar chai and Biryani and he said Shadaab which is at a short distance from there is a better place. But I didn't want to let go of this opportunity for I was sure my partner wouldn't bring me to this place again.
We ordered tea n samosa. Both weren't up to the mark and was disappointed. I thought there was no harm in trying out the biryani but my partner didn't want to eat it so ordered chicken single biryani with less masala.
The first spoon of biryani took to an another world and the expression on my face made my partner also to dig in.
We are short of words to describe this Perfect biryani, the chicken was succulent, rice well cooked, this is the 2nd best biryani I have ever had (the 1st being in Agra). Someone has rightly said if we haven't had biryani here we haven't discovered the true Hyderabadi food.
I have had biryani at Shah Ghouse, Shadaab, bahaar, and the other famous biryani place but no one is on par with Nayaab. It's truly NAYAAB.
While paying the bill I asked the waiter if he had served us the kesar chai and he said it wasn't so ordered it
I don't drink tea but I like the one at Shah Ghouse but this one is way better than theirs, I haven't had such a wonderful tea before. Tongue tickling. The only flaw was that it was a little too sweet.
I shall visit this place again to try out their Kheema, bheja and Gurda bhaji.
Ordered for a Chicken Moghlai and Chicken Majestic and tandoori roti.. Ideal mughal joint... Initially was sceptical whether to go in or not but the smell made me come here... Nothing to talk about the interiors.. It was shabby... Staff were quick to serve with no nonsense... Its very near to salarjung museum.. We finished our lunch with kesar chai...
This place serves THE BEST bheja fry in the city. Have been addicted to this place because of the variety of non veg dishes with such amazing taste they serve.Paya masala is also a must try here.
Service is on point.
Its an authentic Hyderabadi place to hav a decent food with a nawabi taste at cheap price.
Nayab has been one of the best places to eat in d old city since a long tym now.
Please come here nd try all the dishes .......its gud nd pocket friendly.
PS -Go with ur frnds as the quantity they give is atleast for two ppl. :)
Visited the place only for trying Bheja fry for the first time in my life and wanted it to be from the best place to eat at. And Nayaab was the recommendation all over the net. Initially I felt uncomfortable( all because I was over-thinking that it's a brain) but then the taste was too good to overcome that uneasiness. The waiter recommended to eat it with Puri and I kind of liked it. Small joint, easy on pockets. Good for non veg lovers.
Chichaa yahan aaneka, bheja roti khaneka, tandoori chicken khaneka. Aur life mein nai bhulneka! One of the most amazing bheja masala I had!!
The Competitor!!
If any restaurant can really give competition to the big one it has to be Nayaab... Brimming with people always they offer one of the best food.
But the best definitely has to be roti kheema it's just the best and to top up is the irani chai.. Awesome.
Visited this legendary place for breakfast, part of Breakfast foodathon. Tried paya masala, kheema masala, bheja fry and Bhaji gurda along with Naan. They were super delicious 😋. Loved to the core. Also tried their kesar chai and was awesome 😃. Did not disappoint a bit. Would love to try their Lunch too very soon 😍
Been with friends for late night dinner. Unique flavour of Biryani! Had paya soup too which was good. Yea was great too. Place needs to improve in terms of hygiene.
Hotel Nayaab is a blessing for Nigh Hawks like me. They serve you 24x7. The other night I was bursting out with hunger at 5.00 am and I couldn't see anything except Dosas & Idly. As I was at Old City, landed up here with a friend of mine and satisfied my ultimate hunger. You get more than expected ready to serve dishes even at that very late or maybe very early hour of the day. Place isn't much tidy and comfortable but still, it's manageable. Tried Bheja Fry, Paya Masala, Mutton masaala & nihaari with tandoor & naan. Everything tasted finger licking.
Specially went here for lukmi but was disappointed to learn that it was sold out. So, settled for bheja tawa and roti and it was brilliant! Ambience is old school though hygene can be an area of improvment...
In my jam-packed weekend in Hyderabad, I made it a point to try out Hyderabadi biriyani's from multiple places. I did do that and the winner in my opinion was hotel nayaab, a friend of mine and I were on the way to salarjung museum and relying on zomato reviews, we decided to go for this joint.
We tried their mutton biriyani and chicken talhua. The chicken was kick ass and the biriyani was the best i had during my stay in Hyderabad, and yes I did try the paradise biriyani in case you were wondering.
if you are looking for yummy hyderabadi cuisine, this is the place to visit.. loved the food totally. the best i have tasted so far. The ambience is not good though.
Place is located in very busy traffic prone main road. Parking can be done 100 mtrs away after Shadab. Place is expanding upstairs so work in progress for family section. I went with my family & they were ok. Don't expect anything like ambience. Must tries are chicken biryani, talahua gosh, paya, haleem, gurdha (kidney). Haleem is available only during Ramzan & is as good as other top players.. Unsure why they maintain low profile. Kesar Tea is unique to this place & must try. Overall it's a feasters paradise.
Been here to have early morning Breakfast @5:45am.. Tried kheema, bheja gurdha with tandoor roti.. Had kesar chai which was unique and good. Liked kheema masala instantly and bheja gurdha is fine.. This is my first and good experience having food in this area. Service is fast. No complaints..
Value for money, costed me 210 Rs. for kheema, bheja gurdha, 3 tandoor roti and kesar chai.
I went to nayaab three r four times with my friends, one time for breakfast.we ordered chicken biryani, mutton biryani, paya, bheja fry, chicken 65.Paya n bheja fry were too gud, remaining items were okay. Now coming to breakfast we ordered roti, kheema and kesar chai. That was one of the best breakfast I ever had, kesar chai was simply best.Ambience was average not gud for families n service was good.
Taste 3.5/5
Ambience 3/5

This place is at the start of the Ghansi Bazar road on the left hand side. The first thing I would recommend here would be the Kesari chai which you get early in the morning. For main course you can try their mutton biryani, tandoori roti and talwa gohst along with bheja fry. The paya along with the naan is also absolutely refreshing. Overall don't expect any ambience or great service but the food is definitely worth trying. Don't miss the Irani chai along with some Osmania biscuits.
Good food.. Not a giod place to sit n no parking at all for 4 wheelers.
But would recommend you to go if you are interested in Old taste of hyderabadi food.
Paya is good.. And other items can also be tried.
The best bheja served in hyderabad.. Period.. And to top it off an amazing kesar chai to leave you with a taste that wants you to keep coming back again and again and again..
#chefsdayout
Over the past few weeks, I had totally gone berserk when it came to food. Things I should have done years back ever since I came to this beautiful city, I started to explore only during the last few days of my stint in Hyderabad. First it was the #oldcityfoodtrail with Pallab, Nazeef, Arijit, Shiva and Karthik; then the #chefsdayout with the popular Chef Gaurrav who conceptualized Glocal Junction- the first ever all-day dining and bar concept at Hyderabad. I heard a lot about Hotel Nayaab from Pallab and regret not having visited this place during our first food walk. But this time, I wasn't going to miss it!
Hotel Nayaab is located in the vicinity of the legendary Shadab Hotel but unlike the latter, the former is known for its insanely tasty dishes such as the Paya, Bhaji Gurda, Bheja fry and many more. I decided to try something I haven't tried elsewhere in Hyderabad and so ordered the Bheja Fry. The last time I actually had this dish was about a decade ago- something my father cooked at home.
The Bheja Fry served at Hotel Nayaab is orgasmic- an epitome of foodgasm. The Bheja was cooked brilliantly, sort of melt-in-the-mouth types. The dish also packed a considerable level of spice but I wouldn't have had it any other way. For a moment when I looked at Chef Gaurrav, I could see him closing his eyes and shaking his head in contentment, enjoying the food- this dish actually brought out the Hyderabadi in him, he was like, "Miyan, yeh toh heavenly hai!".
Frankly, We would have loved to try something else but this was the last hotel on our #chefsdayout and we were loaded and could hardly walk. To top it off the server asked us if we wanted tea and we were like, we drank enough Irani chai's for the day.
"Sir, hamara chai toh pikke dekho" - hell yeah, we tried it and you know what? It was very different, it wasn't the Irani chai we had come to expect- this was the kesar chai Pallab spoke about.
Although a short food spell at Hotel Nayaab but eventful.. This place definitely goes on my list for future food walks to be held at Old City, Hyderabad. A must visit, one of the originals. You Gotta Eat Here!
Hotel Nayaab is located at Ghansi bazaar before Madina signals Hyderabad.. One of the oldest restaurant of Hyderabad they serve authentic Hyderabadi delicacies.. Ambiance is crowdy n parking is issue. They serve best kesar ki chai... They serve amazing n heavenly delicious Breakfast Kheema Roti, gurda bhaji, Paya n lukmi... This is perfect place to visit any time of day n night.. Best place to visit in old city. It is heaven for non vegetarian.. They serve one the finest n best Haleem in the month of Ramzaan.. My favorite are mutton n Chicken Biryani, kheema n gurda bhaji... Kesar ki chai is very very unique and completely different from regular Irani chai.. They only serve Kesar ki chai in Hyderabad.. Prices are very very reasonable n full value for money quality n quantity is amazing.. Best place to visit for Hyderabadi Briyani n other Hyderabadi delicacies...

I don’t know how I’ve missed writing wondrous praise about Nayaab in so long. It might have slipped through between my innumerable reviews. Nayaab is one of the those places which I can visit at any moment and carries with it so much of Hyderabad’s culinary history on it’s shoulders, that it’s hard not dropping by.
Their Kesar ka Chai is unique and completely different than the regular Irani chai you get all over Hyderabad. Nayaab has some brilliant food and if you haven’t had their breakfast, then trust me you’ve missed something in life. Ranging from Paya, Nihari, Gurdha Kaleji and so much more, this is a non-vegetarians paradise. They were the first outlet to make Haleem commercially in Hyderabad, a legavy they carry forward even today. Nayaab is a gem in the Hyderabad culinary scene. This is where it all started and this is the place worth checking out.
One of the oldest biryani places in charminar .
Located on the main road of naya pul this placec serves some really yummy dishes.
Generally visit them during ramadaan.
My favourites are the mutton talava ...a good prepararion of mutton with soft and tender pieces of meat ,this really goes well with the rotis.
Haleem is a must try during ramadaan .
There is just one thing for which you should come to this restaurant.... hyderbadi authentic food...yummm! But pardon the ambience. Its not the cleanest hotels you'll visit in Hyderabad (i was startled by a little cat sitting under my table...eagerly waiting for me to share some food) and if u ever visit this place do not forget to have the special irani chai....made my day.. :)

One of the most popular cafes in hyd which is serving hyderabdis delicious food for more than 30+ years . Its one of the rarest gems which have been maintaining their consistency for decades now.
Located near to madina building , this probably could be the 1st cafe which welcomes you to old city. Parking could be a bit of problem as its located on the main road. Nayab is open almost 24*7 in the month of ramzaan and in regular days it closes by 1am and opens early morning 4am.
They have got amazing line up for Hyderabadi delicacies from haleem, paaya, kheema roti, khichdi, kesar chai, bheja curry, biryani, dum ka mutton, bheja fry, talawa gosht, the list goes on and on... My favourite being Bheja fry,Dum ka mutton,Biryani and Haleem. All the items were damn delicious. VFM !! An absolute treat. I would definitely try to drop in when ever I get a chance 😉
after hearing from many freinds about the kheema served at nayaab in breakfast one fine early morning visited the place and ordered a plate of puri and kheema with tandoori roti. the puri tastes well and was really crispy and nice.the kheema which is dum ka kheema was excellent amazing and tasted brillinat with the tandoori roti. was really satisfied with the order and finally to end ordered the kesar tea which famouse there wow was the word which came out from my mouth, grt taste really loved the taste of kesar tea can go again n agian to have it. ambience 3/5food 4/5service 3.5/5

Wow.. is all I've to say. This place is only for non-veg lovers. Nothing has changed. It stays the same since years. Make sure u go early in the morning at around 4 or 5 empty stomach and u can enjoy the food and old city roads which are empty also :) the authentic shermal, paaya, gurdha (kidney) bheja (brain). Taste is wow. Very pocket friendly. Although ambience is not that great. It can be overlooked bcoz of taste. Not a place to go with gals.
Their entrance takes you back to the moghal times & old ancient days.
In hyderabad city the best Puri & Saag is made in Nayaab hotels.
Apart from this, paaya is amazing......... I pray to Allah that this hotel remains in the business for many many years to come
Location:At Naya pul, beside the lane of chatta bazaar.
It's the one among the oldest restaurants of city. They are well known for there Hyderabad breakfast as they serves Nahari, paya,Bheja, scrambled eggs, omelette, mutton kheema as there speciality beside it they also serves saag puri too.Beside breakfast they are also known for there keser tea and Irani tea too.But dont ever order for butter naan at early morning as they just put butter on the tandoori roti you can order it after 9 in morning.Overall:Must try there Hyderabadi breakfast which is just mind blowing and there keser tea although the keser tea is now a days got little bit less delicious compared to the past.
Been here at ramzan for seher and food experience at 3 am in the morning at this place is unforgettable. The bheja fry and their nahari with a coke are the best things you can have for seher.
This is a good place near charminar to try good local stuff. Though not perfect but still satisfactory.
While roaming through charminar and bazaar around it, saw this place and thought of having dinner here. The place is well sized with quite a number of seating to cater huge crowd. It is a simple place with ambiance of any basic eatery just for meant for food. Staff is good and know their job well.
We had mutton biryani and chicken masala. Order doesn't take much time here to appear on your table and this depicts the kind of preparation they follow. But the taste makes you forget everything. Mutton biryani though lacked in spices but considering flavors it felt very pleasing. The accomplishments were a bit disappointing. Chicken masala was a clear winner with delectable gravy and perfectly cooked chicken. Rotis were also good and quite authentic.
In all food here is winner and will satisfy you at very reasonable damage to pocket.
My Rating:
1. Food: 4/5

located a few mts from madina Circle this hotel is One of the few places in old city which serves lip smacking biryaniand it also one of the old hotels of the twin city the must try here is its Biryani, Nihari with Paya/Zubaan available from Nihari with Paya/Zubaan you can also had this in the breakfast i.e from morning 5:00 A.M.it is really good-in taste and having it piping hot can easily make you sweat. and another specialty of this hotel is its Kesar Chai which refreshes your mind. and of course its birani . This place is one of the rare gems of old city which has been operating since 35+ yrs now. It is essentially a hotel which is almost open 24x7 all thoroughout the year baring Eid and Bakrid days.
Location: Ghansi bazar, As soon as you enter old city, the first hotel you can see is this on the left.
Ambiance: According to old city standards this is decent. family section n'all are present but parking is a hassle if you go by car.
Food: Quite a lot of items over here are special, delving into each and everyone would make this review very long, will try to keep it short and crisp.
Nihari with Paya/Zubaan - Flavorful nihari is served as a breakfast dish from 5am or so till 10am then starts again at 6pm or so and goes on till 11pm
It is amazing in taste and having it piping hot can easily make you sweat.
Kesar chai - One of the rare delicacies of this place which a non-tea lover like me also would love to have any day. It is famous for it and they make sure that the taste remains constant at any and all times.
Haleem - One of the few haleem outlets that always feature in the times food contests and has always been on wish list of every foodie every year during ramzan. Made as authentic as possible its taste rivals the best in the business, you need to have it to believe it.
Biryani - One of the few places in old city which serves lip smacking biryani in both Chicken and Mutton variants. The rice grains are long and flavorful , mutton pieces and chicken have always been soft and succulent making the biryani all the more tastier
Bheja fry and Bheja masala - One of the most popular dishes here, as the name sounds it is goat brain which is fried and served. Soft and tasty,it is an acquired taste.
Dum ka mutton - Minced mutton which is placed between burning coals on the top of the vessel and below gets a smoky and amazing taste
Gurda fry & gurda masala - a typical breakfast dish which is again very popular here. it goes well with the tandoori roti which is very soft and easy to break
Desserts: Qubani ka meetha and Caramel custard are amazing here.
Hotel Nayaab @ Ghansi Bazar, Madina
If I happen to be at Madina for any reason, then there must be a pit stop to taste the amazing Irani Tea at Nayaab. The taste is truly Hyderabadi and makes me feel proud of having tea here.
Among the varieties of tea, they also serve the Kesar Tea served in a glass placed in the regular cup. Taste is amazing and most of my friends have shifted their loyalty from Irani tea to Kesar tea at Nayaab!
The triangle samosa or the Onion Samosa is also very tasty. Medium spicy and makes us to eat more & more!
Have heard great about their paya and rotis. Will try them during my next visit!
VFM : 5/5

It is so pleasant and the Dil wanted more & more!

Ramadan Seher at #Nayab old city.
Planing was going from last one week n execution took place today at 3am with best of best and a honest Foodie of Hyd #TaherSyed Bhai.
Seher order is as follow -:
1) Tala Hua gosth - Mutton was tendered and soft blended with proper spices. Need to be little fried more but tasteful.
2) Gurday Masala - Good amount of Gurday compared to gravy, soft n juicy love it.
3) Meh Kaliya - Its a gravy blended with spices n loaded with Mutton pieces which were very good only little extra ginger garlic paste was dominating the taste.
4) Behja Fry - The most selling dish of Nayab its there speciality I think so. It's sooo good n tasty that as soon as its goes in mouth its melt.
5) Dalcha - Though it was in my order list but have not Tasted bcoz was overloaded with other stuffs.
6) Kesari Tea - The speciality of Nayab I say if you are at one corner of Hyd or secundrabad or in an around of these place you can just come to have these tea its so awesome and tasty loaded with real kesar you will never ever get disappointed.Taher Syed (www.palatejournals.com)

Great QUINTESSENTIALLY HYDERABADI FARE OF FOOD.
One of the FIRST PLACES to have started IRANI CHAI in HYD.THE ONLY PLACE IN HYD WHERE YOU WILL GET THEIR SIGNATURE BEVERAGE- KESAR IRANI CHAI.
Out of the world Paya Masala, Mutton Masala & Paya + Roti.Modest place downstairs, but if you want to go with family or kick up from pedestrian to rustic...ask them to seat you upstairs, and they'll happily oblige.
Was a very good hotel 5-6 years ago. Still known for its authentic dishes. Crowd is seen only in the after hours.
Serves good bagara khana and bheja fry. And is even known for its kesar chai.
This place is good for breakfast, mainly nahari and paaya. Behja fry, keema, gurda palak are okay.
If you are expecting extra cleanliness then you will be disappointed, however the taste compensates everything.

I haven't seen the inside of this place. But the chai here is worth travelling across the city for. Kesri chai is the most unique and the best chai i have had in my life. This is a MUST TRY ..!!! Irani chai was really tasty too..!!
Mine was a late night trip to this place, so it was best suggested to sit in the car. I want to try the food here so badly. Let's see..!Sometime during day..!
But chai is so good.. I'll give 4 points to the place just for chai..!!!!
Chicken biryani was too good.. Make sure you eat it while its hot. Ambiance is not that great but they have AC section which is better than the normal section. Only problem you were going to have is parking. There is no room for Car parking. If you are on two wheeler, then its not a problem for you.
True authentic hyderabadi feel...awesome biryani and paaya with kesar chai...mesmerizing...
Also must try the special "seher" menu in ramzan... Every bite of food here gives a true hyd feel...
Cheers...
Yesterday was the day for Haleem ! We went to couple of places to try it out. The first stop was at nayaab. As usual , you can't expect parking space in old city . So we sat down in our car and ordered . 110 rs. Was the cost for a Haleem . I would say five out of ten for the meal as the texture was not that great. It was more like machine grinder meat and no mint leaf. Fried onions were soft . And too many bones. Too oily and spicy so we were not getting real flavour of it .
I've been going here for 7 years and always had good experience, but today 15/04 I've experienced one of the worst customer service I've had at any restaurant. A great example of how frustrated a waiter can be without any reason.
ACCORDING TO OUR ORDER:
=================================================================================
CHICKEN BIRYANI:
=================================================================================
I was delighted to see visibly moist chunks of chicken buried beneath (in most restaurants, the dum process removes the oil and moisture from the chicken). And, the flavor oh sheer bliss. It was just tantalizing, spicy, & delightful. The flavors are perfect, they manage to do what original Hyderabadi chefs have done make the rice the king of the dish. It's easy to spice chicken, but to create such beautiful fragrant rice is a task indeed. Even the Chicken is so tender and moist and easy to pluck. Defenetily this place serve one of the best authentic Hyderabadi Biryani in Hyderabad.
=================================================================================
AMBIANCE:
=================================================================================
The outside isn't particularly inviting. Neither is the inside. But the most uninviting aspect of this place are the employees. I decided to write this review after my last visit. Last as in most recent, but it really will be my last.
=================================================================================
SERVICE:
=================================================================================
Our waiter "VEERANNA' was incredibly incompetent and rude. I can't even begin to describe the lowest level interactions I have ever had. I think trained koala bears could do a better job than him and we both were treated with no respect or consideration. My disgust was compounded when he was damn frustrated with my friend simple questions, he didn't seem to have a clear understanding of what my friend was trying to communicate, then he just literally threw Chicken Biryani on the table in front of us.
So here are some tips to elicit the best possible service:
- Carry yourself with tons of Patience.
- Know what you want before your order.
- State it clearly and succinctly.
=================================================================================
TO THE MANAGEMENT:
=================================================================================
STEP 1:
======
Kick out veeranaa. Yes, that's right, he is nothing better to do in life than to spoil the dining experience of patrons.
STEP 2:
=======
You need to open your eyes and observe the fact that the local competition stepping up their game and you must follow the suit. Operating from 35 years and you haven't learned the basic thing. Customer service.
=================================================================================
NOTE:
=================================================================================
Not a destination for the traditional fine dining experience. How long will we be writing this particular place is not for service? Slow service or understaffed is okay, but rude/arrogant service is not acceptable in the least degree.
The only reason this establishment is open is due to it's Biryani and the fact that most people die for good Biryani including me.

One fine day gone for lunch after reading all the reviews, thanks guys who are suggested this place.
Mouth watering biriyani.
Only ambiance is spoiling the reputation of the taste
One day I stopped here to have a cup of tea and I discovered the Kesar Chai served here, which is quite unique and in my opinion much better than the more popular Irani Chai.
They of course serve the Biryani and their famous Paayas in the evening along with Haleem during Ramazan. However being a vegetarian I only tasted Kesar Chai and Osmania Biscuit.
visit their website at nayaabhotel.in
the food is great and freshly cooked.
One of Old City's charms. Lovely place. No frills no ambiance, just food. Must try their awesome Biryani which I must say is way better than more famous counterparts like Hyderabad House and Paradise. Their Haleem also rivals Pista House in terms of taste.
I decided to kickstart my weekend by exploring Nayab near Charminar in Hyderabad, curious to experience their breakfast spread. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Mutton Paya—a flawless dish that left nothing to critique. The flavors were exquisite, and finding a flaw was nearly impossible. However, the accompanying Sheermal bread, meant for dipping into the Paya, fell short. Its texture was disappointingly tough, detracting from the overall experience.
Thankfully, the Tandoori Roti served at Nayab was a highlight, offering a commendable taste when enjoyed fresh at the restaurant. Yet, it's worth noting that the quality slightly diminished when packed for takeout.
The Malai Paya, unfortunately, didn't live up to expectations during my visit. I'd advise giving it a pass unless there have been improvements since then. On the brighter side, the Beja Fry held its own among the standout dishes with its excellent taste and preparation.
A cup of Irani Chai was a delightful addition to the meal, boasting an excellent flavor profile. However, the Osmania Biscuits served alongside seemed to be of old stock, lacking the freshness that would have complemented the chai experience.
Regrettably, I missed out on their Biryani, as it's only available after 12:30 pm—a reason to plan another visit to sample this highly anticipated dish.
In essence, Nayab near Charminar offers a mixed bag of culinary experiences. While some dishes like the Mutton Paya and Beja Fry excel, others such as the Sheermal and Malai Paya might need a bit of improvement to match the standard set by their best offerings. If you're there for breakfast, aim for the classics and wait until the Biryani hour strikes to savor their renowned specialty.
I have tried special mutton biriyani there. It is near Charminar. The taste is good. You can feel an authentic taste of mutton in there biriyani. However, i found it is little expensive than other places. But anyway the taste is awsome. They normally don't keep coke or pepsi or thumbs up. You have to take there special cola which i didn't take. The environment is family friendly. You can go and enjoy your anytime meal. If you are visiting Hyderabad, try their biriyani.
Nayaab has really given me an experience to remember. Their mutton biryani was supple and gave an intense aroma. Every grain of rice has spice and flavour. You could feel the heat in the atmosphere. We even tried their malai paya and bheja fry. The bheja fry was as soft and supple as a pillow, it's a must try. Their Paya has great flavour but, the gravy of the malai paya was plain and basic. The staff was quick and helpful. There is a special air conditioned section for families to sit and dine in. Must visit at least once.
Probably the best Paya Nahari ever!!
Bheja fry and naan!
The malai on top of Paya seeps into the sheermal when you dip into it.
The bone just falls off the meat and don’t need to bash the bone for the marrow inside.
It just drops like Makhan
Have fun n relish it
I went there with a hype given by my friend.
After visiting and tasting food I get to know that he is correct.
Food taste is too good. Mustry malai Paya & keema kichidi.
First time tastéd Bheja fry, it's also good 👍.
Try Butter naan also.
Awesome food. Authentic Hyderabadi breakfast. Opens as early as 6am. Try to go into the AC section at the back of the hotel for a great dining experience. Portion sizes are just right so that you can have multiple dishes. Ask for parking guide.
Hotel Nayaab is one of the best places to visit for Non Vegetarian lovers especially when it comes to Biryani and Paya.
Food : Malai Paya with Butter Naan, Nihari Special Mutton Biryani, Double ka Meetha, Puding and Katha Firni
The location of hotel is quite complex but one can easily reach with help of Google map. It's quitely situated in one of the most busiest roads in Old Hyderabad near Charminar.
Food : 5/5

We were really happy to eat. It really blew our taste and took it to the next level.
Recommended Dishes Must Try : Malai Paya, Nihari Special Mutton Biryani, Double ka Meetha and Katha Firni
Amazing. Yummy. Spicy. Buttery. Delicious. Must try every item available there. Never miss if you are in Hyderabad.
Must for IRANI TEA & MUTTON(GOAT) BIRYANI
Hotel Nayab is old school hotel. But food is really tasty and memorable. I recommend Irani tea.Never had such quality tea in hyderabad.
Mutton (goat) biryani & Paya with Sheermal i had were so full of taste.
Cons: Not maintained hygiene. small size coacroaches are roaming. Washing utensils in open near tables is not of good impression.
The best place for non veg breakfast. Don’t expect too much it will be busy crowded and food is good 👍. Always be sure what you want to eat otherwise they’ll get whatever.

Today, I reached Hotel Nayaab early in the morning by 4:40 AM. By seeing 👀 the crowd, I was shocked. It was huge, no seat on the ground and 1st floor. I waited till 5:20 am. Later, I got 1 seat and started ordering the food.

The taste of the keema curry was sweet. Not suggested. 2.5/5
4. Beja Fry - 1
I enjoyed the taste 😋. 5/5
5. Nihari Paya
Wow, what a taste 😋 it was amazing. 5/5
6. Carmal Pudding - 1
The taste was awesome. I give 5/5 rating.
The taste was good, but the price was high. The waiters don't listen to our order. They used to say regular food list and bring their own list even though they won't listen to our words.
The waiters scam was high. I ordered a parcel item that was 1 Beja fry, 2 caramel pudding. But he gave me 1 beja fry and 1 keema extra. And they charged for all. After coming to my place, I got to know that they charged high.
