Filmy style interiors look good. Service was fine except they did not accept card payment during our visit.
Minus 1.5 for the Rice items were not recommendable.
My first visit to a restaurant in Hyderabad!Food is average.Tomato soup is not upto the mark.Paneer tikka and Makhani was good!Overall a pocket friendly average restaurant!
I just loved the environment inside the restaurant !! A very good place to go with family and the prices are very reasonable !! I loved the North Indian thalli very much :)
I have been to this place twice and both the times the service and the food was good.
The ambience is ok ok but the food is really tasty.
Ambience -3/5
Food -4/5
Service-4/5
Considering the location, the place is a good one to visit if you are veg lover.
I love the ambience!! Even the food is quite good!! I liked all the starters in the menu!!even the menu is just superb!!always updated! The place is soo soothing!!
Filmy Tadka is surely a restaurant to checkout. You can order an item either half or full, which makes a lot of sense. Half of any item (especially biryani) should be sufficient for a single person unless you are heavy eater. Decent ambience, good food and fast service.
Right from the menu to the feel of the restaurant, the lights, tables, posters, reel all make you go filmy. The food served is tasty and my order for Garlic Naan with Modi Paneer was served soon than expected. Also the dish Modi Paneer(curry) is as interesting as it sounds. A nice place, for families and friends to dine in. Not to forget it also is reasonable in terms of the prices. Looking forward to visit soon.
A restaurant with a fantastic ambience, amazing vegetarain food, i recommend foodies definitely give it a try, the service, the lighting and the interiors all give a feeling of the filmy studio. Lovely place for couples and great for hangout with friends . Also the value for money is good. Cheers Filmy Tadka !!
It is only for vegetarians and the food is really good .I have been there with my friends ,Ambience and food is Good. Service is also good, prices for dishes are decent.
Fantastic place! It can be so hard trying to find good vegetarian dishes or restaurants and filmy tadka does a great job. Great place to dine with family and friends One of the most satisfying vegetarian meals I've had in a long time! Going back to try the rest of the menu..yes all of it.

Malai paneer excellent...& decent place for lunch and dinner, good multicuisene restaurent&ambience is good& its pure veg...mainly its atractive bollywood themes....
Hats off to the way the place is decorated with all movie/ anime characters..
The music is soothing and one of the best vegetarian restaurants in the area at a very reasonable price.
Loved it and will visit soon :)
How often do you have the owner of a restaurant sit down and explain the theme of the restaurant, the selection of the menu and the people behind it? As we gave the car to the valet and stopped to take a selfie with the restaurant board in the background, one of the staff stepped down to hand us a Film clap in filmy style and then spared us the trouble of an awkward selfie and offered to capture the moment on our smartphone.
The surprises had just begun. Well we were pleasantly surprised when we were the privileged ones after dropping the name of a friend of his. What began was a dialogue that touched almost everything. Well of course there are collateral effects and guess what – they need not always be damage, but pleasant surprises. More of it later though.
A blog about a visit to the restaurant and we have not talked food yet. Well at the outset, the first surprise was having Amit Sharma, the restauranteur of Filmy Tadka take a seat with us and boy did he talk? The fist was the theme of the restaurant and the spirit of films. Well it was about films as in the physical film rolls. The theme was just all around you. The spirit of the films was not just the décor but in the spirit. The walls were acoustic and absorbed the sound. You had conversations everywhere but no disturbance.
But before we get to the food, it is important that we know the people behind it. Amit, was not a foodie and that was a surprise, he did get the right people though. People who shared the youthful enthusiasm and the risky adventure of being different in a world rooted in conformity. It was interesting to note that there was very low attrition, an almost unbelievable fact. But, who would want to leave, when given the freedom to experiment? The chefs and the service staff were of a youthful profile in the age group of 25-40.
So, finally we had Amit suggest the dishes for the day. The first course was the soups. We had just two portions for a family of four. Two soups – the garlic soup and the palmolein soup. The kids polished off their garlic soup and while we slowly slurped the soup, the dialogue was on. The starters were not just one but four – rather a platter. The cigar was a spinach sprinkled cheese rolled into a flour and fried. The cheese was just creamy and required no physical effort and softly exploded in the mouth tickling the taste buds all round.
The chilly bites were just awesome – a kebab take of a veg Manchurian rolled in Manchurian sauce giving the looks of a red hot chilli loaded with taste. The aroma of it just tickled the appetite. Appetizers – yes every aspect, a visual treat, the aroma and finally the explosive taste. The cheese balls were just gourmet heaven. There was this paneer dish that was another surprise.
The main course was again divided into two courses. The first was the indian flat breads with a curry of okra and corn cooked in a medium of cashew and onion paste. The taste was balanced and unleashed flavors each from a different texture in the curry. This was complimented by the paneer curry with bite sized chunks. The second course was the Sambar rice. Well imagine a youthful twist to the conventional and humble Sambar with Rice. The sambar rice was served with crushed crisps (papad) and was though it had strong flavors, there was no after taste. The taste was tantalizingly inviting.
Imagine having the menu with kids who do not normally eat vegetables, a daunting task indeed which changed when we saw the kids plate clean and no leftovers. The icing of the menu was the suggestion of topping it all off with a chosen dessert – the fried ice cream. How on earth do you fry an ice cream? Well there were certainly no answers but a visual treat. An invitation into a relatively clean kitchen and cleaner workstations, that was bustling with activity and . a chance to see the action as it happened and the people behind it. The chef of the dish was introduced and he promptly walked us through the steps of the dish as he prepared the dish for and served it. And it was just mind blowing, knowing well that the ice cream was fried in hot oil. Well, the secret is – just have the experience of tasting it.
Food was suddenly an experience. Food was a dialogue. Food was a gastronomic adventure. It was anything but the regular offering in the multitude of restaurants. Well don’t just take my word for it, but try it out. And don’t try the routine dishes, have the chef surprise you and be ready to be swept off your palate, by a very FIlMY TADKA.
Visited this place on my birthday, we ordered some crispy paneer it was lacking salt and spiciness..when we said the same to the waiter he was kind enough to replace it, we got paneer chilli as a replacement. Kaju masala was good, roti's were thin and soft. Veg biryani was not good.
Visited this place a week ago for lunch with buddies!!
Will say the place is really cool and hygienic
Starters were the best which were suggested by the chef over there!!
Full value for money and a pocket Friendly place!!
A must visit place in that locality!!
i ordered food through zomato from filmy tadka. Happy to know that there is a pure vegetarian restaurant in this area. i liked the concept of a movie theme based restaurant. would like to dine in here soon. the food was amazing.
Been here a couple of times. One of the best restaurants in this area. I loved their Chef special soup( had lot of veggies including broccoli), Veg sticks, spinach corn cheese balls, Modi panner, Malai paneer(was on a sweetish side), paneer lababdar. Their biryanis were good too. Mushroom biryani is a must try.
This place is always busy and loud like Indian films and food here is the superstar who will entertain you for sure!
I have been a vegetarian from birth and a food lover too , though I tried food in many restaurants in Hyderabad , However, the food taste of FILMI Tadka stands out..The ambience is really good and food is stupendous... If you are a vegetarian , then I would suggest you to have a visit with your family and will love the food and atmosphere. Filmi Tadka, as name says it is a theme based restaurant(Bollywood/Tollywood) and you feel amazed with various cut outs and Fotos of Bollywood n Tollywood celebrities...
Overall , I can give a rating of 4.5 out of 5 ...for food as well as ambience..
Very Decent atmosphere! Quite decent staff as well!
Now you do not need to spend petrol and go for hangouts to B'hills, J'hills, etc., while you have a very beautiful pure Vegetarian Restaurant in the area of Shivam Road!
Coming to food, Once you visit you'll visit 2nd time for sure ❤! #ModiPaneerbutternaan
Yummy Veg Restaurant with fully filmy theme its look like we having dinner with filmy industry, its have a very good interior theme too....!
I visited this place just because my dad knew someone who's running this restaurant. The restaurant is best in class when it comes to ambiance, the total filmy outlook is mind blowing. Food when compared to ambiance is not so great at this price. But still, I would recommend you to try this place which has a great ambiance for get together and parties. Food is good. Must visit place atleast for once.

I heard a lot about this place and decided to go on weekday..when we went the hotel was completely deserted maybe we were too early ..starting the service was very poor they took long time even to bring appetizers after reporting to manager it was bit fast , the worst part was there were flies in the vinegar chilli sauce which is placed on table I was very irritated when I saw bunch of flies in my food
... immediately they apologized n replaced with other one even after all this fuss ...the food was very tasty and some varieties are available these are the two reasons I would visit again if possible, ambience as they say is not that filmy themed atmosphere it's dull when we visit at night !! Overall it was only one reason delicious food , elaborated little bit about my experience in filmy tadka!!
PS - the hotel is closed
This stays one of the best places for me in the surrounding area. We tried the crispy golden paneer, veg seekh kebab, malai kofta, kaju paneer with vegetable biryani.
The taste of the starters was superb the kaju paneer was good enough but the veg biryani is great, but definitely its one of the best places in area. must visit again.
Filmy Tadka – Located on the Shivam Road is one of the few eateries in this location with casual dining experience. Ambiance of this place is kind of filmy with vibrant colors. Visited Fimly Tadka as a part of meetup with few fellow foodies. Filmy Tadka serves only vegetarian food. The welcome drinks aka mocktails included Mint mojito and fruit punch. While the Min mojito is ok, it could have been more better if the essence blended well. Fruitpunch lacked the flavour of fruits and tasted more like a vanilla drink.
Quick home delivery. I had chinese, it was very tasty, and light. Looking forward to trying more from their kitchen.
Thanks for the pleasant food experience.
Concept based places always attract people. It is one of them...Service is excellent.Food is good.Ambience can be improved..As the name suggests,it provides "filmy tadka" to the atmosphere..One should definitely visit the place!

For sure one of the best vegetarian restaurants in hyderabad. Fill up your Platter with variety of options from starters to main course. Cheese cutlets are a must try.
Aahaa this come with the excellent ambience it goes with the name only filmy tadka you will find everything related to film making... And now coming to food it taste excellent in almost every section specially recommended Gulab Jamun
Good food and pleasant ambience.
Try zafroni pulav....its really good.
Service is ousm.. nice hospitality... liked the experience... thank u tadka
Filmy Tadka - Located on the Shivam Road near Amberbet is one of the few eateries in this location with casual dining experience. Ambiance of this place is kind of filmy with vibrant colours.
Among the soups, Manchow and Hot&Sour were served and they were just ok.
Vegetable Spring Rolls, Paneer Maharaja, Veg Cheese Balls, Veg Manchuria and Gold Coin were served as part of th starters. Veg Spring rolls were crisp and the vegetable filling was medium spicy. This really tasted good. Had good spring rolls after a long time. Veg Cheese balls were well made. Thick cheese moulded in corn flour & deep fried. Even though it was deep fried, it wasn't too oily. Liked the way it was made. We were introduced to a new starter called the veg chilli stick which was made of crumbled bread mixed with minced vegetables and served in the form of balls. Since this dish has bread as the main ingredient and deep fried, it was too oily. Dragon Paneer was infact Paneer tikka where Paneer was topped with sliced capsicum and onion. If the Paneer would have been more soft, this dish would have been a killer.
Moving on to maincourse, we did have couple of Rotis & Naans with Paneer Maharaja , Nizami Hundi curry and Dal Tadka. Paneer Maharaja was no different than the regular kadai paneer and Nizami Hundi was the typical mixed vegetable curry. Among all the curries, Dal was the best. Among the rice items, Shezwan rice and Jeera rice were served. Shezwan rice was a bit tangy; but the combination of Jeera Rice & Dal was awesome. Nothing could have been more better than this combo.
Ended the meal with a piece of Gulab Jamun that was very soft & the sweetness was not overloaded.
Overall a decent experience for a vegetarian dinner, but there is scope for improvement in the preparation of few dishes. Service was pretty fast considering that we were a group of 12 people and serving all of us so fast was indeed commendable.
Another theme based restaurant! Although it's very old, I took helluva time to visit this. This is in the other corner of the city for people who live near Hitec city. The place was very well lit up with lots of resemblances with filmy stuff and the interiors are even more dramatic ;)
The owner of this place is very welcoming and received all of us warmly and we started placing orders. The menu was actually kind of preset for us and the owner said some of the items were out of menu. Special thanks go to Lokender Jain for arranging this.
The welcome drink was a fruit punch shot which lived up to it's expectations. I finished my Broccoli soup, which was very good and I enjoyed the broccoli florets that were soaked in hot tangy soup and this is when our table got flooded with starters. We tasted many items. Out of which, the panneer maharaja stood out.
The Panneer maharaja was kind of a malai panneer except that is perfect for a spice liking palate. The spinach corn cheese balls deserve the mentioning. The gold coins were disappointing and the vegetable spring rolls were normal.
Then came the main course. There were different types of naans and the chilli garlic variant was exceptionally good. The shezwan fried rice and jeera rice went very well with the curries. The curries were corn masala, panneer butter masala, one mixed veg and daal tadka. The combination of dal tadka with Jeera rice doesn't need any explanation.
The Gulab Jamun too was very soft and delicious.
The service is a big issue here. The servers just forget our request and go serve other tables. I hope it's not usual here.
I couldn't enjoy the food as I had to go off. I didn't cross off Filmy Tadka on my list and I would go visit this again to enjoy it full fledgedly.
Checked in here for tasting session with fellow foodies who were awesome and meeting everyone for the first time. Restaurant ambience is nice with filmy theme.. I started my session with Mint mojito which is abv. avg which i can feel the mix of mint essence amd sugar! There after fruit punch shot is fine with vanilla flavored taste..
Tasted two soups in which i liked the one which tasted like manchow soup!
Tasted 5 different starters containing cheese balls, gold coin, veg Manchuria, veg spring rolls and paneer maharaja. Paneer maharaja is the winner followed by cheese balls.
We had rotis with 4 types of curries including dal tadka.. out of all paneer curry and dal is good with garlic and butter naans.
Had jeera rice with dal which is a hit combination as usual. :-) Schezwan fried rice is avg. And we finished the meal with a Gulab jamun which is fine. Though there are some misses but overall a decent experience.
I have a special liking towards the #Theme based affordable #Restaurants and “Filmy Tadka” has been my all-time favourite. My first visit was almost 1.5 years ago and since then whenever people used to ask me to suggest Restaurants within the city vicinity, Filmy Tadka was the first thing which pops up in my mind. It is ideally located with decent interiors. The food is good and reasonably priced.
The moment you step in, you will feel that the ambiance is set in all its #filmy #avatar. Plenty of Movie Posters are adorned on the walls. For a change, cellulose film role shaped partition is used to separate the tables and similar roll shaped lights are hanged just above each table. The lighting is dim and shadowy throughout the Restaurant. Even the chairs are replicated to that of Director’s. The seating is comfortable and they also have a separate private dining section for a group of 10-15 people. At the entrance the tiny photo booth is an added attraction to satiate the paparazzi within you.
Last night I had the opportunity to dine with my circle of friends and could try out vast varieties of dishes:
#Masala #Papad – The good old starter to nibble on until your main appetizer arrives. It needs no description. The minced salad topping was perfect in terms of quantity and taste.
#Mint #Mojito – It was a disaster. Perfect failure. I hate when my Mojitos are bad, it kind of dampens my mood. As we were waiting for our Table, I couldn’t resist myself to have a Mojito until we are seated, hence ordered for one. It was Soda/Spirite mixed with Mint Syrup and presented in tall glass minus the ice, natural lemon and natural mint leaves. Even for Rs 99 ++ it’s not worth at all. The artificial mint flavour destroyed the drink.
#Manchuria – Though it was crisp on the outside but was chewy within. The flavours were not balanced and the sweetness was dominating. The quantity was humongous. 2 Potions sufficed for a 9 of us with each one getting around 4-5 pcs
#Dragon #Paneer – I was left confused with its taste, because the Dragon Paneer what I generally have at other places consists of Paneer coated/brushed with corn flour and stir-fried with Cashews along with other veggies such as Capsicum, Onion, etc., But this one, it was nude paneer and the sauce in which it was cooked turned out to be extremely sweet with spicy aftertaste. Paneer was bit chewy again. For some unknown reasons, we kind of didn’t liked the taste. The potion size was huge.
#Veg #Chilli #Stick – Visually it looked the veggie version of the famous non-veg seekh kabab. Watching others eating this, my friends were intrigued to try it out. It was minced vegetables mashed together along with herbs, fried and sautéed Chinese style. The flavour of potato was dominating than the other vegetables. It was bit salty and sweet in taste. 8 pcs were served in one potion.
#Paneer #Maharaja – This is that one type of curry which is similar to Paneer Butter Masala. Apart from few Paneer Curries, I always find no difference between others except for their fancy names. This one was no different. It was good in taste with decent amount of paneer cubes dumped into the smooth tomato based gravy. It was rich in flavour.
#Nizami #Hundi – Assorted vegetables cooked slowly in cashew, onion-tomato based gravy. This Mughlai dish was the best of the lot. The gravy carried the peculiar mild flavours and it went extremely well with Naan/Rotis. Must try!
#Dal #Makhani – The makhani (cream) was less which made Dal look dry and even tasted the same. I felt it to be bit salty and everyone on the table agreed with me upon this. This made me realised that in Dal-Makhani, Makhani(cream) should always be in excess unlike every other time I tried, I always dreamt of having it with moderate amount of Cream.
#Sambar #Rice – Only if the veggies were cut small in size and with less no of Curry Leaves, this humble Sambar Rice would have been the perfect one. It had large bits of Papad and I generally prefer the crushed Papad over this one. It was served with Achar and Ghee (on request)
#Fried #Rice – Another let downer. Basmati Rice stir fried with very low quantity of veggies in a wok and was devoid of all spices. It tasted bland. The only flavour what our pallet’s felt was that of Basmati Rice.
We had to wait for long time to get our Table, but considering the fact that it was a Weekend, we have no complaints. Coming to Service, it was an #extraordinary one. Overall there is little scope of improvement in the Starters section as all the above Chinese starters failed to deliver balanced flavour. Or maybe the Chef had a bad day. Leaving aside the few irregularities, I would still like to revisit and recommend to everyone to experience it once.
Went here last week the food was okay but the service was really really slow. We placed our order at 7:55 and got the starters at 8:30 was diassapointed
Edit: visited this place again for lunch and surprisingly the service was quick partially because we were having our lunch at 1:15pm.
The food again was average nothing that great but considering the quality of the restaurants available in that area this one stands out.
Having heard abt dis place from many people, happened to try dis place with my cousins.
The food was good, however the service wasnt good, we had to remind the waiter to get the food served.
Overall, a decent restro for Vegans'.
An excellent place to enjoy your food.A complete food delight.Delicious food items, with excellent service. In the recent times, I've found the maximum solace here compared to other places.Hit the starters over here on an empty stomach, great heavens :")
I went wowww when I saw the range of vegetarian dishes available at this place! Definitely a go-to place for veggies!! I think their dishes are innovative and the chilly garlic vegetable finger was yum!! Friendly waiters providing great service!
And yea! I need to make a mention here! When I was going through the menu card this caught my attention 'in mood to explore new dishes? Go on, call our chefs, they'd love to make something new for you'..! So if you are bored of the standard dishes restaurants these days offer, then you need to visit this place, where you can put in ur creativity hat and let the chef adore your creation..!
In a nut shell, my 20 kms drive down to Amberpet for this food was absolutely worth it!
Had Mushrom Biryani Take Away, it was tasty and full of mushrooms. While the quantity is good for two but if compared with others seems less. Alongwith the takeaway got a cup or curd, chutney and few cut pieces of Onion, Lemon and Cucumber.
I went to filmy thadka at first day of it on new year day . It is so wonderful. It is so nice . Most wonderful thing is that wave at the center of the restaurant
No wonder why this place is one of the finest veg restaurants in the city. The filmy theme is one catchy thing about this place. The food served is absolutely spot on.I had shredded paneer, cheese balls and other apetizers. All the dishes were a total paisa vasool. The service was great and the food was served really fast. The best part of filmy thadka is that one can order the chef his own favourite ingredients and he will mesmerise you with his new dish. The overall review goes like this
Value for money-9/10
Service-9/10
Food-10/10
Ambience-9/10(The place could have been a bit bigger :P)
Gud Fr ambience!nt so great food bt a gud service nd nt so wel trained waiter!can go jst for ambience lover😍 so can go once ! Awell main course !😊 overall a gud place👍
A well set up restaurant for people looking for a cool place to dine in!!
The filmy type of ambience makes you feel so dizzy and a little lighting up is required!!
Overall its a great place for vegetarians 😅
Theme of the restaurant is quite impressive. Films posters on the wall, reels all around the cabins.Food part - they serve good shorba, plenty of choices on bread. I had tamatar aur dhaniya ka shorba and biryani. Good taste, better service and perfect ambienceHappy eating!! Happy tummy!!
Filmy style restaurant in our locality..its a veggie restaurant..n shorbas are soo nice. It's kids friendly restaurant and also nice place for a quick lunch or dinner. Staff are very friendly. There jeera rice and Manchuria and fried rice and lime soda all are very nice.
I had been to this place as I was curious about the name and how the ambience is going to be (I already tasted the food before visiting the place which I felt was delicious). I was totally satisfied with the ambience and food, but I would give "0" for hygiene. The server served me food which fell on the ground (I was totally shocked and when I stared at him, he ignored me as if nothing has happened). so, when I informed the manager, he isn't that responsive. Coming to conclusion, food was great but the service isn't. Need to work on it.
Food - 4/5
Ambience - 3.5/5
service - 0/5
The ambience of the restaurant is good, the service is good as well. The food I have tasted were mostly from the starters and they were really good, but the main course that I had was the American chopsey and it ended being bland with no proper seasoning
Decent ambience. Good food.Quick n promt service. I have passed by this restaurant many a times but never knew it would be that good.I was impressed by their big menu.
The day i went to filmy tadka i prepared my mood as vegetarian...coz it is strictly veg hotel.... The greatness of this restaurant is starters... starters impress you lot but if you move forward to main course you'll be disappointing... The ambience is very filmy.... The staff could be better and one thing you must be patient.... All over rating is 3.5 coz of starters
FT is in my wish list but couldn't make it from an year. Finally got time to visit this place . Hotel is with good concept interiors and with lovely music . I ordered for mocks tails and veg biryani. And a starter. All items are good at taste .though interior couldn't impress me but still fine with filmy concept . I can say it's a pricy restaurant AtThis locality, and coming to service they are good in taking care of customer . There is a valet parking too which impressed me well. Might visit for next time. The one I observe in the menu is all the items priced same ,with a small difference of 10 rs which is not great idea.
Interiors: 3.5/5
Service: 4/5
Taste of food : 4/5
Costs high as per the area. Valley parking available at a busy area.
Hyderabad has few exclusive Veg restaurants. Today i went out with my family and relatives at filmy tadka. A total of 8 members. Had good experience with regards to ambiance and food. All the 8 of us were satisfied with the food quality . It was sumptuous and tasty. It has been long time since i had such tasty Vegetarian items.
Thanks Filmy Tadka. You are doing Great Job. We will definitely visit few more times to taste some other unique and tasty items at your place.
Good Luck and Cheers.
Food: The food tastes good but, can't say its one of its kind. Serving exclusive vegetarian food in this area can be a disappointment for non-vegetarian's.
Ambience: Being called "filmy tadka" the place is a theme restaurant. It has posters of random movies around, and nothing beyond it. The expectation I had was something similar to those theme based restaurants, where even waiters dress up according to a character. ( e.g. ohris guffa)
Overall its a good restaurant, just don't get in there with super high expectations.
Well, filmy tadka is a theme restaurant in amberpet near tilak nagar cross roads.I had been there yesterday and I found the food quiet impressive. the ambience is all covered with posters of different movies which I found quiet attractive.I loved the food, ordered manchow soup and baby corn manchuriya with main course obviously. the service they provided is awesome like with in not more than 5 mins. So finally I would like to conclude saying that it's a great and economical restaurant for veggies around and a good hangout place for friends and family :)
In my vicinity, it was the only pure veg restaurant. Felt like visiting it many times and finally this was the day! Ambience was filmy with negative film on the walls and pleasant roof lighting.
Ate up starters, curries, butter nan & fried rice. Everything was flavorous and toothsome. Cheers!! Worth eat👍
The ambience is cozy and perfect to have a quite dinner. The service is fast and very friendly. I had 30 guests to this place for dinner, the boys were fast enough to cater everyone. Food was of excellent quality and taste. Gold coin, sambar rice and curd rice are a must try.
I realy Loved Filmy Tadka :) Vry good Food...was there for Lunch With frnds ....chips Paneer Was yummyyy !!!! Keeep Going Guys ....All The vry Best
I reeeeeeally liked this place!!! Came here for lunch and it was pretty quiet I loved it! The Restrau was clean decor, friendly service and a creative menu and the food was sooo good! Got the spinach soup and a free mocktail for a check-in!! :) YUM!!!!!!!! Def going back when I'm in Filmy tadka !
Averse to veg., peer pressure got me here. But I guess it was a sweet surprise and really nice, surprisingly. The Ambiance is wow!. The sheer number of items they had in the vegetarian was truly magnificent . The quality of the food was also very nice and its POCKET FRIENDLY TOO 😄 A must visit if one is in Hyderabad.
Veggies! must come here! 😄 I Juzzz Loveddd ittt..mmmmmm...
This hotel has very good filmy ambience , staff are very courteous and food is really awesome and prices are very reasonable . Menu items are really different and the food quality is very good . My favourites here are dhania shorba, methi chaman and crispy corn. ..!
I was surprised to see this place garner so many rave reviews and decided to give it a try...Went in there one fine evening only to discover that I was the first guest for the evening. There were a number of staff around maybe due to peak hour for home deliveries. The restaurant ambiance did not live up to my expectations at least. The decor was dark and I frankly didnt find anything filmy about it other than the posters and the reel like setting . There was a small private room kind of a place from where blaring sounds of TV could be heard. It was quite a spoiler but thankfully once we started our dinner , the loud noises of the TV subsided.
We ordered Paneer Tikka roll / Kabab dont remember the name exactly. The dish consisterd of masala coated panner wrapped in roomali rotis and cut into the size of spring rolls.T he quantity was good enough for two but that did not serve any purpose as the paneer was extremely hard so we somehow managed to finish it. The main course was butter naan which was fine and makai mushroom masala. It was quite spicy but decent and tangy.
Overall I was a bit disappointed with the taste and ambience both. Maybe I had high opinion after reading these reviews. Overall , it is a passable place to visit and even if you miss it , dont regret!
Was never at this place but was in touch with the food by only home delivery but not by dine-in. So I'm not familiar with the place. The delivery is within the time but takes more time for making the items. My favorite is crispy paneer.
When you're on this corner of hyderbad ,and looking for restaurant that offer good ambience and decent food , this is the place for you .
First time I came here was to take chilli paneer wet , Chinese curry . Well first point you'll notice is quantity which is surprisingly good ,next the taste was also decent .
But I felt the paneer wasn't tasting good , it was Lil sweet side even though it was Chinese curry .
Next time I thought of giving a try again ,went with friend . Ordered manchuria , again quantity was very good . Later we tried paneer curry , again I felt paneer Lil sweet side . Apart from that taste is decent.
Reasons to visit : 1. Relatively good ambience in that area .
2. Filmy theme .
3. Decent food .
4. Photo booth , yes it's fun .
Perfect place for vegetarians, delicious food and multiple variety of choices. Nice ambience. Very nice place to visit with family & friends. Will visit again with family.
This restaurant is definitely worth visiting for the ambience alone. The food was scrumptious and the staff was very polite. They have everything from Manchuria to Chopsuey. I wish they'd speed up their service thou, we ended up waiting for more than half an hour for the food to arrive.
I felt being a great place Nallakunta l was disappointed that there are lack of food courts, but this place has given me a great feel in enjoying the food and enjoying in the place. I have been here with family and friends, great place and great food.
Name has been changed into LUCKY'S BIRYANI HOUSE... Biryani and chicken mandi was just awesome.. ambience was very good n neat too. U can try once here.. service needs to be done faster...
Awesome vegetarian food served here
Its an amazing place to go for dinner for Vegetarians. The prices are slightly on the higher side but its Worth it.You cannot find any better place than this for Mouth Watering starters. The curries are excellent My Favourite is Nizami Handi. One thing that i dont like is dum biryani other rice items are good. The service is also good .
Earlier known Filmy Tadka restaurant has been replaced by a new kitchen namely Lucky's Biryani. This place is serving tasty Biryani. It seems like that it's more of a cash and carry or a "take away place" than a proper dine-in restaurant. They have more than half a dozen such kitchens specialising in Biryani in different parts of the city. It's definitely worth trying.
Great food. The only disadvantage is finding a decent parking spot. People might day that this restaurant is overpriced but, if it we're himayatnagar, everybody would accept the price tag
The name gives you an idea how would be the restaurant.
Movie posters around, in menu as well.
Had Mushrom Biryani Take Away, it was tasty and full of mushrooms. While the quantity is good for two but if compared with others seems less.
Alongwith the takeaway got a cup or curd, chutney and few cut pieces of Onion, Lemon and Cucumber.
Dragon paneer and Baby Corn Majestic for Starters are awesome.
Modi Paneer and Nizami Handi along with Masala Kulcha - made a wonderful Main Course.
Best part is - its a pure Veg restaurant. Great Ambience with friendly staff. Would like to recommend it to others as well.
Lastly - don't forget to have the fruit punch. you will fall in love with it.
Pure vegiiiii
Platter is the best option
We can taste different kinds of starters
For vegetarians it's an best option
Restaurant interior look completely in filmy theme I liked it
Nice food the taste of food is awesome.... for veg lovers can always prefer... the service was upto the mark..
A very good Multi cuisine restaurant located at Shivam Road with a decent Ambience and friendly staff Had a wonderful evening with family food quality and taste was fantastic
Thankyou so much Filmy tadka and the team members
Food is good, nice ambience, but they take too long to serve once the order is placed.
Decent place to eat and have a chat with friends and family. Prices are affordable and the cuisines are tasty. I usually visit this place with my friends.
Nice Mandi, you can enjoy with your friends and family. I liked the tandoori chicken with smoky flavor...
