I have been here many times. It is one of the most amazing get together place known to mankind.
The official meets have been great here for discussion or quality chit chats.
The quality of the food has been on continuous decline. Dosa itself has been disappointing.
A lot can be done. Management must take note.
Best n The Oldest Food Outlet in the Area .
I am visiting this place for more then 10 years and they have a real outset to serve .
Good Place and Service. A Decent place to sit and relax with friends though they take 15 to 20 minutes to serve you good but it's worth full I you want to spend some time.
Indian coffee house-
Indian coffee house is old place but still the best place in town. Best place for south indian dishes.
All the south indian dishes are available.
We have ordered many dishes like masala dosa, vada sambhar.
Pocket friendly place.
Must try-
Hot coffee
Masala dosa
Cheese masala dosa
Vada sambhar & idli sambhar.
Good place to hangout after a tiring day, south indian dishes are fab and masala dosa is my personal favourite.Must try.Staff is not so friendly and ambience is a bit boring but the food makes the visit worthy.
Ausome experience every time ! I always fee to visit this place again and agin .. dishes like chola bhatura , masala dhosa , aalu paratha , etc. Must try it ! Its very economical in rates ! Beverage is not upto the mark but food is delicious..π
This place offers good taste at real affordable prices. They have maintained a decent taste, services and ambience at mostly all their outlets.
This outlet has better ambience. It's quite crowded at times.
In the pictures : the mysoore masala dosa, veg uttpam and fruit ice cream.
The mysoore masala dosa is a quite spicy option in masala dosas.
The uttapam is also a good choice.
The fruit icecream has vanilla with some fruits.
Here is the score card :
Taste : 4/5
Ambience : 3/5
Service : 3/5
Value for money : 4/5
An perfect place for south Indian food
Ambience is good
Best place to hangout with friends and family
Seriously Dosa utthpaam are very delicious and mouthwatering
And name is enough
Excellent services and awsm quality of dosa I'm loving it.
I rate this 4* because by comparing this to others of their competitors its services is not very good.
Indian Coffee House needs no introduction. It is everybody's favourite place especially when you want to have some good dosa and south indian dishes. The veg biryani was better than the expectations and also they provide enough quantity in food. But they don't accept card payment which was disappointing.
South indian food is all you can majorily see here
You can get chhola bhatura and pav bhaji and some coffee as well
Not much innovative stuffs
They take a little time to serve your order but in the end you would find your dosa served not so warm
No non veg variance available in this specific outlet
Services not so on point
You can find time when there is no one available to serve you
Otherwise staff members are polite enough to keep your belongings safe if you have left it there by mistake
Perfect Place For South Indian Food
Best Dosa uttapam Serving
Service is Quite slow
All other Delicacies also Available..
Interior has to be Improve .
Been to so many branches of indian coffee house, but I still like Indore's one, guess that's because of the indori in me.
A nice place to go for yummy and cheap food.
Favorite... since I was 3 ...
Their sambhar and other south indian dishes are great. Very traditional hosting like a Portuguese cafe from Kerala. Crisp attire and turban of staff looks impressive if you are a kid.
For food... from vada to dosa, uttapam, chhole bhature, upma and others... taste is absolutely traditional.
Coffee is served in steel glasses to relish aromas and flavors with a punch. Always an aromatic experience owing to sambhar and other foods.
Very pocket friendly for students and others. Though many people (even with MNCs) visit the place for nostalgia. :P
Was quite regular here during my college days in Indore..Being a student good South Indian food at affordable rates, this place used to attract us a lot..and this place was quite close to our university on bhavarkuan..
Be it Masala dosa, vada Sambhar or coffee or anything the taste used to be just perfect..The service was quite poor but manageable being a student:)
Overall a good place for enjoying South Indian delicacies at pocket friendly rates!
Indian Coffee House has a great reputation in Indore, but this outlet seems to be disappointing quite a many times to me. Service is average, they might have taken everything granted because of good business in area. Still taste and service can be improved. Total score is only based on quality.
Nice taste with pocket friendly prices before NAC came for inspection at university, after that they jumped to high prices although they provide a special discounts for DAVV students.
One of the most peaceful and calm place with great food. This place is also very pocket friendly. And I can visit this place anytime and Everytime without being bored.
Just like another ICH outlet this place offers good southindian food... As its in university campus its better to visit this place after college timings are over... Ambience is not great but seating is spacious. Its clean and well maintained. Staff is nice so is the foood quality. Taste for southindian dishes is upto the mark. I will not recommend this place for north indian food... I regularly visit this place and love it...
Ideal for: Meeting few people over lunch, a business treat. Food: 4/5 Ambience: 3/5 Service: 3/5 Cost: 4/5 Overall: 3.5/5 (Overall is the average of above four)
What An Amazing Place.
Located inside the university campus and it reminds you for your college/university days.
Even an average coffee u love here.
Everything taste good.
Extremely Recommended.
Simply what else to expect.
Always up for delicious n ravishing food
with highly competitive price.
Superb quality n taste maintained from years.
With all those variety of stuff, competitively priced and located just outside the univ campus, this outlet should change its name from ICH to Student Coffee House..
Undoubtedly this is a great bunking adda for a lot many students of the campus..
Ambience is at par with all other ICH outlets.. Simple and decent..
Food quality is also ok as far as the location is concerned.. Good to satisfy a student's taste buds..
However, serving is what disappointed me.. They took a hell lot of time to get my uttapam and masala dosa on my table.. Staff behaviour was also not that mannered..
But zest is, an outlet right outside your college serving a variety of dishes under an authentic brand name is a sure success..
Don't go specifically for a visit.. If by any chance u getting near univ campus then u can stop by to have something here.. :))
Well maintained quality from years
This outlet of Indian coffee House is the bunking destination among the DAVVians. The variety of coffees served here are great and even better than CCD or Barista with respect to price. The ambiance is Clean and hygienic. The restaurant is having a great quality of south Indian dishes too. But the north Indian food is just okay. The service is good and staff is humble. I prefer this place over others for cheap and good quality of coffees and tea.
Mudra (The Super Chatori)
+3.5
I visited this place a month ago only for a family breakfast.
The ambiance is Average. The Staff is not at all cooperative. They were pretty rude. Dude we are paying you...ain't coming here for free food. >.<
We ordered Cholle Bhature which was like really heavy, Big in Size but was yummy.
Noodle Dosa, Regular Masala Dosa, Dahi Bada and Idli vada.
They all were good in taste. No such issues with the food and it's quality.
Only thing annoys everyone is the Staff members.
The only outlet of Indian coffee house that doesn't serves eggs. Whenever I drop my sister at DAVV, I do go here to eat. The place is buzzing with all college goers, and the food is delicious here. The cutlets are the best of the Indian Coffee house in the entire city. Also the South Indian is good. Do try here. It is a delight for Jains as they dont serve eggs. The only issues are of heat and cleanliness
Always a delight to visit... Has an old world charm to it.Nice food n beverages. Reminds me of my frugal undergraduate days...
The place gives you good old school type vibes. Menu is vegetarian and parking space is also available. South Indian dishes are served faster as compared to other food options. If you wanna cherish old time memories with some simple South Indian food you can try it out.
Very good place to enjoy cup of tea and other meal and snack items. Family, friends and all others good place. Very neat and clean place. I recommend this place and I am sure you will enjoy.
Loved tuti fruiti icecream and Manchurian here. Have a variable range of food items in the menu from brunch to lunch.
Serving Service is bit slow
Taste is good π
