I was amused by the name and impressed by the reviews. Thats the thing about #Indore, you trust reviews. When it comes to food, the city plays fair.
Lassi might be the ‘ghamand’ of #Punjab but at Indore the local yogurt drink seems to have found its own special place. Sweet & velvety and super thick , best quality curd, sugary, and creamy to the core!! I tried the dry fruit one and the ice cream one and plain one. I had to go three times.
Half, full and special - the most expensive one touches 90 Rs. One special is a meal in itself. Walking distance from station, one can go have a quick drink before hopping on or off the train.
Seriously, for the taste and quality thoda ghamand to hona hi chaiye :).One is enough, but just not enough :) plan multiple trips and go hungry or shall I say thirsty? Cheers!

Couldn't ask for more better Lassi than this! If you get a chance to halt at Indore station please Head towards this outlet known as "Ghamandi Lassi" It's 15 mins away from Indore Station or for the Land mark you can ask the locals to guide you till 'Sarvate Bus Stand'. For sure you'll be full in 1 glass itself. And the best part which is everyone's favorite the Malai! They have my heart for making such kind of delicious and thick Malai. And the Lassi is cheap too!

The only reason i added this place to my food trip was because of its name. Ghamandi maens boastful and this place had all the reasons to be boastful. Loved the lassi here, not the best lassi ive ever had but definitely in the top 10. Also had the falooda here which turned out to be super amazing. Would highly recommend this place.
We ordered mango lassi, special lassi and dry fruits lassi. The lassi's were as delicious as it looks in the pictures!!. Best was the mango lassi. Special lassi was average I thought in comparison to other two but any day better than any lassi in the world. Consistency, quantity and taste was bang on!!.

Totally worth the price and quality was superb .. pista shake was loaded with chunks of pistachios .. really loved it .. both worth only 100 bucks.
The oldest of Indore serving the best quality of lassi and other drink items they also serve good quality of shakes the only issue with them is parking .
One of the best dry fruit lassi I've ever had, and maybe the best in Indore. Even in winter this place is full with people. My personal favourite is Dry Fruit Lassi and other will be the seasonal ones which they serve. It is so good, that you could go every night right after your dinner to have this delicious lassi.
One of the best lassi I ever tasted after coming to Indore . It reminded me of shah gouse in Hyderabad lassi and masaqati of Hyderabad pure and richness of the curd along with the sweetness with dry fruits which made it make you feel like you are having lassi which is made by your mom. Great taste good work keep up. I would love to order again....

Authentic place for having lassi and they have some flavoured lassis as well like mango dry fruit etc. Finally I tried Indore’s famous lassi. This was little thick I enjoy punjabi lassi more which is at mil road it’s less thickness.
Good taste.....one should try this place as their milk products are really delicious. The only thing that i found bad is it seems to be bit unhygienic.

As the name says it all this place is famous for their lassi and shakes...Try any of their lassi and you will like it..Its definitely not the best lassi you would ever had but quite sure you will not get such lassi at such affordable price anywhere else..

I don't know why I'm reviewing this place now, considering I grew up having this lassi. Sometimes people focus on everything but the basis and forget that basics matter tge most. The thickness of a lassi is the basic requirement and that is the key here. Simply love it.

A very old shop serving a big glass of lassi in Sarvate bus stand area.
There Is nothing better then a glass of their special lassi in days of summer.
₹40 for one glass is nothing too high for anyone and for that you are getting a thick creamy Lassi.
Dont go here if you are looking for any kind of special service. Go Just for lassi.

I was wondering why everyone warned me about not finishing my lassi or badam Shake. And soon enough when I saw the bottle and glass I figured out why. The richness and thickness of the lassi can make you skip a meal. And as I'm a big fan of badam Shake I loved the quantity and taste! . A must visit if your in Indore!! :

No words for this place. The shop owner knows some magic of making lassi and serving it. And yes as name suggests one should have ghamand while having such extravagant lassi.
Please dont judge the place for its name or its offering. Both stands its value. Lassi that you get here is simply nonpareil. Shopkeeper have every right to be Ghamdi(Too Proud) about it :)
With limited amount of time in Indore, I was torn between badam milk at Laxminarayan and lassi here. But we were closer to Sarwate, searching for the Panchal aachar,something that my dad had found and taken a liking to during our Mandu stay. So Ghamandi Lassi won and here we were, sharing a half pineapple lassi and a special Lassi between the three of us. The lassi was properly sweet and creamy and having the whole by myself would have made me skip dinner.The Pineapple lassi was unremarkable, didnt seem too much of a difference. The special lassi seems worth dropping by, specially on hot Indore afternoons.
Their are a few places in indore which serve finest lassi.. ghamandi lassi is one of them. I always prefer a lassi while passing by sarwate bus stand.. their lassi is tasty and is very heavy.. you cannot have anything after a full glass of lassi... recommended

I have been here many times as ghamandi lassi is the most famous lassi shop in the city...!
They are famous, and they are suppose to be famous because they serve yummiest lassi as there special ghamandi lassi is a must try...creamy lassi with fine consistency and perfect sugar blend is a treat to taste buds..! After So many years now there lassi don't tastes as It use to be before but still it's best in town..!
Except lassi you can get other fruit juices and ice cream there which tastes good :)
An unassuming juice and lassi bar on a busy street of Indore where parking is a big problem but once you are served the lassi you'll get back here for sure. I have been here many times for their lassi and was amazed that such good lassi can be found outside the heartland of Punjab. All lassi and no ghamand .... Cheers.
You have this lassi and I promise you you don't need lunch or dinner then. A gigantic glass full of thick creamy lassi with just the right amount of sweetness. An arrogant lassi truly it is. And why shouldn't it be..It's one of a kind in indore.

This is one of the best lassis in the world. Sweet, thick and delicious. Will either give you that rush of energy or make you extremely sleepy.
The taste is its pulling power and the price is very reasonable compared to other places.

The Ghamandi lassi is full of cream, dry fruits and sweetness. In short it is the richest thing, one can prepare from Milk byproducts. I bet, ladies( or diet concious folks) won't even dare to have their dinner if they have Ghamandi Lassi dose in the after noon. For me, a Lunch at Guru Kripa (GK) accompanied with a Ghamandi lassi is a heavenly treat.

The name of the shop is Ghamandi (Proud) Lassi. This name nothing concern with Lassi. Lassi available in Plain , Dry Fruit and Mango taste. The quality is good. nothing so special. Shop interior is just ok. You can try for a change.
₹40 for plain lassi, which is good. I asked the owner the story behind the name: the man who started this place was once called "ghamandi/arrogant" by a friend. He certainly had a sense of humour, for he named his business venture "ghamandi/arrogant" after that remark.

Ghamandi lassi is renowned name in indore, previously they are Indore's best in there sector but from some times they fall to there taste minorly but otherwise still it's good and tasty but can be more better if they can gain that taste again.
