I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rajendra Singh's Retro Kitchen, and it was a delightful experience. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was captivated by the charming ambiance created by the dim lighting. It exuded a nostalgic and cozy vibe, perfect for a relaxed evening.
The menu offered a variety of enticing dishes, and my companions and I decided to try a few specialties. One of the highlights was the Junglee Chicken, which was bursting with flavors and cooked to perfection. The tender and juicy chicken combined with aromatic spices made it a memorable dish.
We also sampled the Bajre ki Roti and Multigrain Roti, both of which were excellent. The rotis were soft, warm, and accompanied by a delectable assortment of side dishes. The Govind Gatte was a particular favorite, with its flavorful dumplings in a rich and creamy gravy.
To complete our meal, we indulged in the rose kheer, and it was a delightful treat. The creamy rice pudding infused with the delicate essence of rose petals was a heavenly finale to our dinner.
I must commend the service we received at Rajendra Singh's Retro Kitchen. Rahul Solanki and Jai Ram Ji, our servers for the evening, were attentive, friendly, and prompt. They ensured that we had everything we needed and provided helpful recommendations throughout the meal. Their dedication to customer satisfaction greatly enhanced our dining experience.
Overall, Rajendra Singh's Retro Kitchen is a hidden gem that offers a unique dining experience. From the inviting ambiance to the delectable dishes and exceptional service, every aspect of our visit was praiseworthy. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nostalgic and flavorsome culinary adventure.
I recently dined at Retro Kitchen, and I must say, it's a hidden gem in town! The restaurant exudes a charming vintage and countryside essence, creating a rustic and quaint ambience that is incredibly peaceful. If you're in search of a tranquil dining experience, this is the place to be.
To start, the Tomato Saar Soup with garlic tadka was a delightful winter warmer that truly soothed my throat. The Kham Khatai, a moong dal kebab, was a wonderful starter that I thoroughly enjoyed.
While the Tandoori Chicken had a perfect marination, I found the pieces a bit small for my liking. However, the Chicken Handi Soola stole the show with its soft, tender chicken pieces marinated in homemade masala. It was absolutely divine!
For the main course, both the Paneer Hyderabadi and Butter Chicken were bursting with flavors, making them a delightful choice. As for dessert, I tried the Gulab Kheer, but it didn't quite meet my expectations.
Overall, Retro Kitchen has become one of my favorite places to take my family out for dinner. The combination of peaceful ambience and delicious cuisine makes it a standout choice in town. If you haven't visited yet, I highly recommend giving it a try. You won't be disappointed!
Superb experince
Great ambience and lot of traditional food variety. Do try their authentic legacies, great taste. Very different type of ambience and feel, the place is open and gives a mystic feel. They do serve Bajra and multi grain roties also that are made on chulla with adds a different experience & good for health freaks ad well.
Restaurants must be run by passionate people like the owner of Retro kitchen. It’s beyond words the kind of love which goes in preparations there. One of the best places for food in our country. Hats off
I feel so overwhelmed to try those dishes here. I mean, it was not less than a royal feast .. I've never felt that connected to food before. Retro Kitchen brings you the dishes direct from old times. Once, you'd know your dish, you'd love your dish. Eating at this place is all about GOOD EXPERIENCE .... Do give it a visit if you wanna eat something different from your regular usual dishes.
If you want simple, flavourful Village style food, retro kitchen is your place to go !
Loved the food, nice cozy ambience and good pricing.
Tried their chulhe ki jowar roti, lahsuni palak paneer, mutton in handi and their handi mix veg ( forgot their exact names lol)
It was an amazing experience here, the food is awesome.... The ambience is great...
The proprieter comes and asks personally about the food and service thus adding a special touch...
The mellow lights and open air environment adds a special zing to any event....
What a great gastronomical journey it has been. Although I don’t have much photos which will do justice to the food that is being served here.
I would personally recommend this to all non vegetarian lovers..
We had a great time here with paya soup, their Marathi fish starter and chicken jungli starters. The curries (both chicken and mutton) were very well balanced and flavourful. To top it we had rose kheer which was unique proposition in the food affair.
Kudos to Rajendra ji and ma’m for very warmly attending and to the staff for serving food with passion.
I would definitely recommend this place to all my known people.
