This lassiwala is one of the oldest in jaipur and when you will have chilled lassi of this lassiwala it gives you feel good factor, amazing , you have to drink this in your car only constraint, otherwise 4/5 to lassi.
4.0 it's only for their Lassi. Authentic Glass with Good lassi it's beat the heat. Place was toooo small n no proper seeting. Owner plz work on this.
Post a sumptuous lunch, we wanted to try the famous lassi of Jaipur and a local friend of ours suggested this place. After a ride of around 30 odd minutes when we reached this place, we saw that around 20 odd foreigners were in queue. They served a variety of lassi in different shapes and sizes. It was for the first time that I saw lassi being served in kulhads. We got ourselves the bigger one. I must tell you that it took us a lot of time to finish it off. The lassi has a coat of malai over it and is thick. The kulhad ensures that the coolness is intact. In fact, the delivery is also done by kulhad itself. The person serving the same though overworked always has a smile on his face. The hawkers the place employs are an eyesore though and haggle with everyone who park their car on the pavements.
Were headed out for the evening and wanted to try some chaat and lassi. This place was nicely lit up and moderately crowded which pulled us in. Tried many varieties in chaat, liked all of them. Lassi was really good. Would definitely go back there sometime.
Located on the MI road, this is one of the 4 shops serving Jaipur's famous Lassi. This one also serves some food like Kachori, Samose and Aloo Poori. Had Aloo Poori, 5 pooris with Aloo, which you can ask for more. Quite simple yet good, poori was soft yet crisp, aloo was equally good.

I don't see any reason for avg rating of Lassiwala to be 3.7 here at Zomato.
I have had Lassi at Chandni chowk and Amritsar, Ghaziabad- near bus stand and at many other places. I am a foodie person.
It's not always that more cream the better will be the taste, I think they are good at putting the right quantity of cream as topping on Lassi.
Only thing is that you should reach this shop between 7 am to 3 pm... they close at 3 pm or 3.30 pm max.
Reason highlighted to me by the owner is - Lassi should not be had in 2nd half of the day.
Other thing that i liked was the glass - Kular - lovely. While Lassi is most enjoyed in summers but i found it good in Feb as well.
thanks

This place was suggested by our driver he asked us to try out the famous lassi of jaipur hand it didn't disappoint. The lassi was thick and yummy enjoyed it to the core especially having it in the earthen glass.
Had specially gone there to have lassi. Nice lassi with less sugar (as per our liking) served in kulhads (earthen disposable glasses). Situated at Paanch batti, a decent shop. Had heard about this shop from my brother who has stayed in Jaipur for 5 years. Worth a visit.
Once you are there, don't forget to have pyaaz kachori and jalebi near a small shop adjacent to Narsingh Mandir at Paanch batti. You won't regret it.
This was in my to do last since long. Last visit on the last day while returning to Delhi, we deliberately took the car to relish the famous Jaipurs kullad wali lassi. The small outlet caters to hundreds of customers every hour. Continuously churning fresh lassi and serving in kullad glass gives it a unique and refreshing taste. Three large glasses, freshly made with chunks of makhan just filled our hearts and was the perfect ending to a perfect trip.
Its really good place to take tasty lassi in jaipur. I have visited this place so many times whenever i passed this MI road. Once you tried lassi of this place you will really like it. Highly recommended.
A small cosy place for foodies 😙😙😙😙
Their lassi is just out of this world... especially with the malai on top... it really does rejuvenate an exhausted person.
Their aloo paratha is yummy too...
Tourists do try this place.

Highly disappointed with my recent visit.
I used to frequent this place a lot as a kid & have really fond memories of trying to bottoms up the huge lassi ka 'shakora' .
The lassi back then used to be viciously thick and so heavy that it could fill you up for an entire meal.
Not really long back, probably just 5 years back I, being an average appetite holder could substitute this viscous lassi for my lunch.
And today, they have not just increased the price along with a simultaneous decrease in the shakora (mud vessel) size, the quality has also gone down considerably.
Nonetheless, I would still recommend this place for its lassi is still one of the best across India.
The famous lassi wala.... Not less than a relief during the famous summer of Rajasthan. Located on the very main road, this place is said to be quite famous n so we saw. Nothing big or fancy, just a simple kulhad and the regular lassi, refreshing and revitalizing. What makes it so known is its location and the lassi itself. Check it out, when heat drains you out! :)
Quite a famous place. Some times you need to wait for your turn. The way it is served is great.Enjoy the very special lassi.Very good taste and with the sugar free options available too. Parking is a issue as there are lot of customers and there is no parking zone in front of the shop. Worth tasting once you are in Jaipur.
Really?
I saw those huge red banners of 'lassiwala', then i had a moment where i thought damn someone told me about this place. I entered quickly and ordered a lassi.
Such a big "kullad" and such beauty! The lassi was quality and quantity wise, excellent.
The shop has proper indian food also, but then it all started with the lassi, so i just had the lassi. For 50 bucks, i had the best moments where i enjoyed that beautiful, fat full lassi!
Do not expect Hygeinic environment, glod staff and any hoo-ha. Just go and have the lassi.
In Jaipur there are hoards of lassi wallas on MI road and if you are tourist it’s difficult to judge he real one. Well for clarification this is the main one, doesn’t have too many colourful hoardings but always has huge number of people waiting for their lassis :).
Bang opposite the ever popular Niros, lassi is served in earthen glasses. Lassi making here is quite hygienic and clean for a change and served with dollop of cream. Great way to beat the rajathani summer.
Great lassi but not in the same league as served in Punjab. A glass at rs 80 is a bit on the higher side.
Do visit nevertheless.
I'm a huge fan of anything that's made out of yogurt and Lassi is definitely one of my top favourites. Lassiwala is a little outlet located at the intersection on MI road. A little hard to locate due to the various other Lassi outlets sprouted around, lassiwala has the best Lassi of the lot. Served in a large earthen kuladh, the first thing you'll notice is the thick generous layer of cream on top. The lassi is as good as it gets, it has a great thick consistency and a perfectly balanced flavour. It's the best way to beat the summer heat. 100% recommended.
My mom is a huge fan of lassi and had been craving to go here since we planned Jaipur. She bought a huge glass called kullar and had malai lassi in it. The quantity was huge and she said it was the best she had over the years. For 50/- totally worth the price and effort.
The best lassi shop in town. Easy to locate, price is average too and the taste of lassi is so delicious. Good place to visit with friends and family.

quite simply the best lassi to have if youre around. there are quite a few lassi wala shops in the line but somehow none comes close in taste. the lassi can serve as almost a meal in itself as its quite heavy. have it after a sumptuous breakfast and you would be glad to hit the bed again for good.
Early morning and checking out from jaipur to agra and we were not in a mood to have breakfast.. On the way we came across this on the main road and had heard to be very famous.. They have two sizes small and big we opted for small which was a big mistake.. The first sip dragged us our mistake.. Never in my life had tasted such super lassi.. Later had one more the big size and we were not hungry till noon..
Lassiwala
The street food hub for pure veg lovers
Must have
1. Palak paneer
2. Dal Tadka
3. Veg makhani
Dessert lassi is served in red mud glass and its fabulous just fab don't miss it
Situated at the perfect place...where i always crave to drink something sweet and cold... Luv having lassi here! I suggest all to try once...
My visit to.jaipur is incomplete without lassi.
And most of the tym we come to this place for it.
Really gud .
The texture mixture every thing is just yummy.
- Heard a lot about this place so went to try this. There are many lassiwalas on MI road adjacent to this shop, so beware and go to this authentic shop only.
- Though the lassi tasted great here, but it is not the best lassi I had. Special thing about lassi served here is that they would serve you in kullahad and they don't mix water while preparing (only ice). You can see the preparation yourself.
- So, when you are on the way to City Palace in scorching heat of Jaipur, just halt here for 5 mins and enjoy the famous lassi.
Cost- Rs 50/25
How can you be not here if you're in Jaipur, the best lassi of all time I ever had. Though I don't drink lassi now, but yes past experiences with this place have been amazing and I have been here with many of my friends visiting jaipur. I always suggest this for lassi lovers, do make it happen to make yourself happy :)
The place opes around 8 in the morning and by 4 in the evening 95% of their stock gets over, this is something you should be craving for :D
I always feels no lassi can beat Amritsar lassi. But after tasting lassi here, you feel this matches in the competition. One thing to observe is that apart from freshness of lassi they serve in earthen clay glass which adds to the taste. Must visit when in Jaipur. Beware of lassi shops next to this one, you need to visit the oroginal.
No doubt why this place has earned so much name and recognition. It is so much in demand that lassi finishes by 4 in the evening. Me and my friend reached there by 5 and missed it. Hence we had to come again the next day and the lassi they served didn't fail to make a special place in our hearts. Do visit!
The best lassi I have ever had in my life. This is my best place to have lassi since I was in grade 6. Dad used to take me there for some authentic lassi every week when I was small. However with time they have reduced their portion size and that is totally from business point of view (a long sigh). The taste has not changed and its been same for years. They have maintained their authenticity and I like that. I love you.
4.5/5 for me.
The shop is located at MI Road it's easy to locate as everyone knows about it.
I went to the shop in the morning with my friends. I last had the famous lassi in Amritsar a month ago. So I had my expectations up high.
The lassi tasted amazing and is worth the money. Looking at the hot weather of Jaipur who doesn't wanna have a glass of cold lassi.
Served with malai unlike the butter in Amritsar the lassi is amazing and refreshing.
I would want everyone who visits Jaipur to go and have this lassi and that too the big one. Served chilled in kullad it's an amazing experience .
Went to Jaipur with family for a trip and tried This amazing lassi in this Lazziwala in both lazzi wala shops which are next to each other. and liked the lassi so much.
Its really worth and value for the money. As the temperature / the weather was so hot we really needed this lassi to cool ourself a bit.
Superb and Great taste.
Highly recommend this place and Worth it.
Ambaince ok ok
Price 4/5
Taste 4.5/5
Service 4.5/5
The lassiwala serves the best lassi I have had.
I generally have the small one because the big one is too heavy without malai.
Mostly the tourist is here and the local crowd.
A good place to be
After the dinner we wanted to have the famous lassi so we got a sweet and salted lassies.
They were not so cold but just right, so smooth and yummy helped to gulp down all the masalas from the dinner.
Heard a lot about this place, decided to go to the shop and to my luck, the lassi was in stock, ordered and in a span everything was ready for my family and taste was awesum, yummy,a muat have if you are in the PINK CITY
Visited the lassiwalla after reading a ton of reviews here and on travel sites.
Overall a fairly normal lassi. Much creamier than the ones in Mumbai so I suppose that counts for something.
A unique experience overall with the mud cups and a cold drink on a hot sunny day. Be sure to reach it before 3.00 pm as the man finishes his stock by around then.
Also there are like 4 shops with the same name. The original is shop number 312. It's on the extreme left with a shop called Shyam Caterers separating the original lassiwalla from the others.
Have been visiting this shop since childhood. Whenever we go for shopping we always used to stop here for a quick lassi. I love their fresh, sweet and creamy lassi and even more the earthened glasses in which they serve. I am not a big fan of lassi but i end up finishing the glass of lassi of this place. I love it. Overall a big thumbs up from my side.
In summers, it really gives you a complete satisfaction after having lassi made up of fresh curd. If you love street food, you must try lassi of lassi wala, very refreshing. They also serves tikki with or without chhole. Tikki with chhole is really filing. They have upstairs sitting. Ceiling height is very low and space is very limited.
Food quality: 4.0/5.0
Food quantity: 4.5/5.0
Value for money: 4.0/5.0
In all seasons u can go.
Specially d thick lassi in "akhoras " Soooooooo yummylicious
U can take small glass but not enough go n sip d bigger one.
Personally suggest for d bst lassi tht is so special...
well this place serves one of the best lassi that i have ever had...it is a tall earthen glass of refreshing goodness with a dollop of malai...there are many shops selling lassi but this one at the corner is the best of the lot...lassi is made fresh in front of your eyes..it is not too thick...it generally gets finished by 3:00...
must visit places to have your refreshing glass of lassi in the sweltering heat or otherwise as well..
The best lassi you will get in Jaipur. If you are a big foodie, do go for the bigger "kulhaar"/glass. The "malai" over the top of lassi and its creamy taste freshens you up along with relieving you from hunger to some extent.
If you want to have the best lassi in town.
MI ROAD is the place to be.
Situated right in front of surya mahal, there are 2-3 lassi wala's offering great lassi.
Be it small medium or large the lassi is fresh and tastes amazing.
Not very thick and not watery too, a large glass of lassi can make you feel full for at least half the day.
They are quick and inclined to serve you because of the competition around. You'll hear them asking to come to their shop and enjoy the amazing lassi.
I've tried lassi in many places in jaipur but Special Lassi Wala has a totally different lassi which cannot be found anywhere else the town.
A must visit, enjoy the lassi and make your day count.
IT IS ONE THE MOST FAMOUS AREA TO HAVE ONE OF THE MOST AMAZING LASSI, KNOWN TO ALMOST ALL JAIPURITES
i am visiting the original Lassiwala for many years . Lassi served here is the best , FRESH. The taste never changes due to climate or anything. Served in earthen pots - smells gorgeous. served fresh , neat and not expensive. Take note - be there before 2.30 - 3 pm . it finishes by then. Good quality , good for health , filling and good price , neat & clean, can have it in your car! must try.
Special Lassi... Indeed ! Must go place for traveler. North Indians / Punjabi people may find this regular.
I tried Sweet (Meethi) & Salty (Khari) Lassi.. full mug. Little Chat with Lassi is super combination to have here.
Tikki was also good & different, served with Chole Sabji & Chatni.
Lassi is served in big & medium size Kullad, has layer of cream (Malai) and made from fresh curd hence this is special.
There is no sufficient space to sit, hardly accommodates 8-10 people. Generally people enjoy it footpath & it hardly matters.
sufficient hygiene is maintained.
Food - Tasty
Cost - Reasonable
Ambiance - Ok
This is one place that we always try to visit when in Jaipur. There are four shops in a row, but the lassiwala you should look out for is the very first one as you move ahead of the chowk. The lassi is fabulous and his stock usually finishes around 3pm, which is why you must go there as early as possible!
Don't miss Lassi Wala's Lassi
Must try if visiting Jaipur, having lassi in kulladahs gives an entirely different feeling. Comes in 2 sizes small and large, 20 and 40 bucks. Large can really fill you up, the malai on top is the icing on the cake. There are 3 shops next to each other, the first one is the best and usually shuts by 4 PM as his stuff solds out fast. We really liked the Lassi post having one also took parcel for rest of the folks back home. It was a great experience and worth a try.
This was Tuesday afternoon on hot summer day and we were looking to drink something cold and then suddenly thought comes into the mind that why don't we visit Lassiwala. I had heard the name of Lassiwala earlier but never got the chance to visit this place. Also there is one problem that many shops are opened on the name of Lassiwala and you have to find the original one.. :p
Our driver told us that this is the original place and if you go first time it will not be too tough because on the original shop you will see the rush but on the other shops not a single person will be there... :)
They charge 40 bucks for one large glass and 20 bucks for small glass. We were so thirsty that after drinking one big glass of lassi we drank another one . and..... You will not have the space even to drink water after drinking two big glass of lassi.
I must say if you are in jaipur then definitely you must this place and try it once. You will love it . Lassi was really amazing.
This lassiwala on MI Road is very well known. He is almost a defacto pit-stop for anyone shopping on MI Road. His lassi is not overly creamy like those that you get on the Delhi Punjab route. Its just the right balance of liquid and cream and its perfect on a hot sunny afternoon in Jaipur.
kimeatsnblogs.blogspot.com
It was 3pm on a sunny afternoon and we were on our way back from visiting the fort ....we were damn thirsty and wanted to give it a try .......
it was awesome ....may be partly because we were very thirsty but the lassi was creamy and perfectly chilled ....
would recommend this to people visiting jaipur .
