The Junglee maas is the jewel on their crown. Absolutely loved it . The ambience added to its taste. Courteous service. Obviously Lal mass is their on the menu. Not to be missed.
Really authentic taste of Rajasthan for non vegetarian dishes. I loved the food and the ambiance. Value for money as quantity is really good.

Had the famous laal maans and it was very tasty. Lamb was succulent, gravy spicy, only the salt was a little less but then again that's a personal choice!
Having Butter chicken after sometime, happy that I choose Handi ! The excellent taste stays the same over the years. Highly recommended ! Thank you for making my meal great !

The Pink City Jaipur is Famous for it's "Lal Maas" (Mutton) and one can enjoy one of the best Lal Maas of Jaipur at @handijaipur at MI Road.
The Naan Bread was expensive though.
Meat used was of good quality. Jaisalmeri laal Maas is a must have. Cute ambience too.
The place is so aesthetic and beautiful. The feeling you get while having hot food in the cold weather. Their chicken was super good. And their galouti kebab was super amazing. It's a must visit if you love non vegetarian food.
Couldnt take a decent picture but man I lived this restaurant. Hats off to the staff working tonight they did an amazing job. From the waiters, front staff and cooks/chef.
Food came out on time and the portion sizes were really good. We ordered everything in half and it was still enough for us. The chicken tikka masala was absolutely amazing and so was the handi. If I was living in rajasthan this would be my local and go to restaurant.

It is located in Maya Mansion, opposite GPO, MI Road, Jaipur. They serve North Indian and Mughlai food. The average cost for two people here is INR 1,300. They are open from 12 noon to 3.30 pm and then 6 pm to 11 pm.
Food: Their gauloti kebab is tasty and will make you drool all over it. Their mutton seekh kebab is tantalizing to the taste buds. Their chicken tikka is lip-smacking. Their tandoori chicken is also quite a delight to have. Their chicken kalli mirch is mouthwatering. Their mutton rogan josh is incredible as well. Their junglee chicken has a good gravy that is made of red chilies and it is seasoned perfectly from the outside. It tastes amazing with the rumali roti. Their butter chicken tastes amazing as well.
Ambiance and Amenities: They have a decent ambiance. They have a wheelchair that is accessible, a full bar is available as well.
we went there on various recommendation and the recommendation were true..we started with the chicken seekh kabab..they were just awesome and then had the lal maas which was extra ordinarily brilliant...the flavours the aroma...the ambience is not so high but the food here is awesome.....must try if u visit jaipur
We tried the Rajasthani Laal Maas and Jungli Maas. Likes the Jungli Maas more. The mutton was so well done... Go for it. I am starting to love Jaipur for its mutton dishes.
Handi restaurant is located at MI road. I saw so many good videos about this restaurant and at the same time saw negative reviews also. So one fine day finally visited this place for lunch. We ordered their signature dishes laal maans and junglee maans with some steam rice. I really loved the junglee maans with subtle spices and flavour of ghee. But little bit disappointed with the laal maans which was not upto the mark. Apart from that ambience was cool and staff was courteous.

Tried the galouti kabab and junglee mass for appetisers! The kabab was soft and melt in the mouth! And junglee mass fiery and spicy but tender and well cooked meat!

This Restaurant at MI road Serves really good Mughlai Cuisine but their speciality is 2 authentic Rajasthan Non-veg dishes Laal Mans and Jungli Mans, both dishes are unique one is served with hot red chilli gravy and other is a dry ghee roasted mutton chop dish both the dishes have a past that carries the Royal influences of Rajasthan with it, you must visit this restaurant if you seek to try authentic Rajasthani delicacies in Jaipur. Restaurant has dining halls but I would recommend one to dine on the roof top area at night cold breezes and chilled beer accompany the food like nothing could.

Food was ok, we were 5 of us and ordered chicken handi, a dish of fish and paneer tikka. Chicken handi and paneer tikka was nice however fish was not up to the mark, (I didn’t remembered what we ordered) however can be said that it was ok. however I liked this place and I will look forward to visit this place again.
While on our visit to Jaipur, had heard a lot about this place and we went specially to try Lal Maas here!! As the reviews spoke, it was simply amazing!!! Thoroughly enjoyed having jaisalmeri lal maas with tandoori roti here!! Worth a visit for sure!!! 💯
We tried jungli maas, jungli chicken and their signature chicken Biryani, believe me the jungli concept is really a delight for food lovers, what an awsome combination of raw spices and ghee(I assume).

Went their to try mutton dishes. Had laal Maas and junglee Maas. Junglee one was amazing. Laal Maas was also good, but too spicy for me...the name came with the warning. Mutton was soft and fresh. Butter naan was also good
Handi restaurant is located on main MI Road and is quite an easy place to find.
The interiors are quite simple they don't have Air Conditioners but have water coolers instead and has been like that for so many years.

I was in Jaipur recently and was exploring some good options serving non veg good and by chance discovered this place. Ordered non veg platter and believe me full paisa wasool ! The quantity of the platter is enough for 2 persons , i ordered rumali roti as well which went along well with the items served in the platter which included Galoti Kabab, Mutton Seekh Kabab, Chicken Tikka, Mutton Tikka, Tandoori Chicken etc. Though all the items were cooked to perfection but Galoti Kabab was the highlight of this platter and can be tried alone as well.

So I have been to this place thrice in my visits to Jaipur and I plan to go again when I am in the city. That’s simply because I love the food. Both the quality and quantity of food they serve is standard as per pricing. The first time I visited I ordered Chicken Kali Mirch, tandoori roti and Kala Khatta Vodka Chuski. The chicken preparation was just the right amount if spicy and tasty which was washed by the interesting presentation of chuski. The second time I ordered for Mutton Rogan Josh and butter tandoori roti. The best thing about this place is the complimentary pan they serve after. It brings an instant smile and makes you want to come back. The third time I ordered Handi Mutton and phukas. The mutton was slow cooked in clay pot and melted in the mouth. It was so soft and succulent that it left me wanting for more even though I was full. The restaurant has two sections. One part is AC restro style and the other is non AC dhaba style. Both the places serve the same quality food and the decors have a vibe of their own.
Well I visited Jaipur last week and wanted to try real Rajasthani food and that's well someone suggested Handi to me. I had to try their Laal Maas anyhow. The Ambience is total dhaba style. capacity is somewhere close to 60-80 people. We ordered the following:

By far the best dish of the day. Beautifully cooked mutton pieces and then fried with red chillies and a beautiful dry rub. Maas was seasoned perfectly from the outside. Super highly recommended ✔️ ✔️✔️✔️✔️

Similar to the jungle Maas then was made of chicken. All things same, this was also a beautifully cooked dish. Highly recommended ✔️✔️✔️✔️

Finally the dish I waited for. Mutton was beautifully cooked. We ordered a half portion. The gravy was a bit too spicy for my liking. I just couldn't have it.

Have visited this place 2 times, both of the times I had a great feast here.
I have had Chicken Kali Mirch, Mutton Rogan Josh, Tandoori Chicken, Butter Chicken here, every dish is cooked properly and served in Handi.
I recommend this place to have delicious feast for all the non veg lovers.

Authentic rajasthani laal Maas and awesome quality of food which is rare to find these days. Best for family dining and kids friendly. I keep revisiting this restaurant.
Lunch at handi restaurant was awesome, good service and ambience but food was extraordinary. Ordered junglee lal maans and keema bati for starters, both were different and delicious. In main course we ordered Jaisalmeri lal maans, it was one of the most spicy dish I have had in my life. Super on taste and really very spicy. Paan after food relaxed the mouth, ear and nose... Overall great experience. Will recommend and come again if get chance.

Well!! This place is really overrated because of the ambience may be. food was really good as I tried authentic rajasthani food there. Their Lal Maas 👍is my favorite till now and their mix veg👌 was also one of the bestest I had but the only thing that bothers me was their prices!!! Prices were too high its approx 2500 for two.
The zomato gold accepting sitting is not very great. There cannot be any complaint regarding food from any handi restaurant in Jaipur. They should include Laal Maas in the zomato gold too.

Went here for a quick lunch. We just had 2 hours in hand and wanted to explore Rajasthani cuisine. The ambience here is pretty basic nothing too fancy, we had ordered gutte ki sabzi with Missi roti and it was the best I have ever had. Next we ordered some laal maas another Rajasthani speciality dish with bajre ki roti (beware you need to have a really strong taste pallete to be able to enjoy it) which had really strong flavours. Overall we were really happy with the food and service of the restaurant. Definitely a thumbs up
It's a good chain restaurant. The food is fragrance-full, perfectly cooked and delicious. The quantity is good so the price is high too. We wanted to order cocktails before dinner. But most of the alcohol was out of stock. That was unbearable. The waiter was helpful. Asked for extra stuff and they managed nicely. The place is convenient. Car parking is available.
The rajisthani food was delicious, especially their Laal mans and shikari Maas. The mutton was mix of fat and meat, delicious and properly spiced. We were surprised with the service as the food was coming out of their kitchen quite quickly.
We also ordered their chicken handi, which is Muglai dish and it was horrible. So much so that we left it as it is.
Their bajre ki roti was delicious as well and paired well with laal maas.
All and all an enjoyable and tasty trip. Their rajisthani food is delicious.
I deducted one star for their chicken kadhai.
Lal Maas and kababs are must try i have visited it during my jaipur trip. And its one of my favorite place.
Staff is also very nice and very humble.
Ambience is great.
Many vegetarian and options are there.
Garlic bread is so soft and nice which i haven't eaten is a while.
Many cocktail and mocktails are available.
Loved the decor of the place and the mix of Rajasthani royal with western style Enough seating available and suitable for large couples and couples too. They have a huge variety of food options to choose from. Laal maas is a popular dish, but I didn't try it though. I tried the Galuoti kebab and it was great. Paneer Mattar was decent too. They also serve alcohol here. Look out for a discount in Zomato and they also have some in-house offers. Digital payments are all accepted.

I wanted to give a 5-star rating. But the digital experience was a little glitchy. I got a confirmation reservation on EazyDiner. But the restaurant denied outright any booking when I showed them the reservation details.

min wait time if you’re visiting on weekends. Please note: there are “two Handi restaurants.”This rating is for the “air conditioned” one.
One of the best chicken handi we hav tried in Jaipur along with Tawa roti ... The handi chicken was very tasty with authentic Rajasthani spice taste. Definitely would recommend and try here the same. Also service provided by Harish was very good. Thank you 🙂

The first few days in a new country can be overwhelming, and while I’m perfectly ok with looking odd in a restaurant by eating something the “wrong way,” it’s greatly appreciated when someone at the restaurant takes the time to explain and help. The staff here was great about this. Huge thanks to Vijay who was always there with a smile to help us out - also for the excellent beer pour! It’s quite a bit more expensive than you’ll find elsewhere, and quite a bit less food for the money, but you’re paying for ambiance and the service for sure. Highly recommend the chutney that comes along with the marinated onions. Vijay said it was his favorite, and he’s right - it’s very good with the chicken.
