Learned mocktail/smoothie course also from this cafe of lalit. It was good experience....And their shakes and smoothies were really good!!!!

In Dec18 we went there and what a experience i had i love that we had filter coffee over there which cost you around 340rs for 3 coffee with tax.And u can click pictures of Lalit hotel beauty which was amazing in evening around 7 rajasthani folk songs also played with live dance performances. I would suggest must go for great hospitality and great taste.
Staff is very polite. Food is amazing. Miss. Preeti was really very polite and manager sir was also helpful with the arrangements. Cudos to the food and service
Ambience is simple yet elegant...we ordered an Idli Vada combo with rasam Rasam was red hot and spicy and very tasty however sambhar served with Idli tasted not fresh...anyways we enjoyed with rasam...next we ordered a Masala Dosa with rasam again as sambhar was not up to the mark...Dosa was very tasty..lastly we asked for a Uttapam..onion tomato...it was spicy and tasty..but not crisp next time will ask for making the Uttapam crispy ...food great and to top it all great value for money...but yes service was basic in fact lacked professional approach

I was searching for a pure veg restaurant & found this. It is small cafe in the The Lalit which offers south indian cuisine only. The ambience is good open with comfortable sitting arrangement. No loud music so you can enjoy good time with the family. We ordered idli,dosa ,uttapam. We requested for sambhar without onion & garlic which they agreed to. The food was good & the presentation was simple however perfect. There are some points in which they can improve the dosa was roasted to such a extent that it was giving a taste & look of burnt. So request you to improve on that

Absolutely love the delicacies and would be nicer if the service was a little faster than usual. (Though I understand everything is prepped fresh on our request still sometime the waiting can absolutely kill the hunger) Once you receiver your order, you'll know the wait was worth your time and the vibrant ambience sets the right mood for a meetup at this place!

Superb experience ..... it was unexpected treat to a south indian food lover like me .. by far best south indian food i have had in jaipur .. especially there Rasam and Appam were amazing ..staff was super friendly espically Mr. Abhishek

Liked: Ambience, food (especially Biryani), aroma, food quantity, gesture by the people and pricing! Special thanks to Chef Srinivasan and Chef Jitender for providing the best food experience!
Could be improved: well there was nothing I could find that can be improved but service time can be worked upon for faster delivery!
Disliked: I also ordered salty lemonade but it was very average. I kind of didn’t like it much.
At the end, would like to sum up with the fact that one should visit this place. Not to mention one may get the chance to see Rajasthan Royal players if you are fond of them.

Awesome food..If you like south Indian you should try over here it's amazing..with reasonable price and awesome hospitality...ask for the chef choice it's just delicious..
First, the hospitality of this cafe is true to its name. It is 5 out 5. And there is no doubt in that.
I tried the Kerala thali. Its very reasonably priced and tastes well overall. But a kerala meal without non veg is kind of disapponting.
Also it seems more like a Tamil Nadu thali with rasam, rice, buttermilk, veg etc than a kerala thali. Except the red rice which one can rightfully claim is from Kerala.
But they serve you normal white rice too if needed.
What is to die for however, is not this meal but the payasam. The rich payasam seems more of a Rajasthani dish , but is to die for - just like any other Rajasthani sweet!
Great south Indian food with great ambiance. So peaceful that you can feel your heart beat. The pricing of items are decided in an amicable way. The person serving the dish was well spoken.
I have ordered frozen Pina colada, dry fruit dosa and payasam.
Pina colada (5/5) was utterly delicious and satisfying. You can feel the richness of coconut cream along with pineapple. The ingredients were properly balanced. It was mesmerizing to me from the very first sip.
Dry fruit dosa (4.5/5) was a perfection. They used cashew nuts and coconut gratings as filling for the dosa. The batter of dosa was full of flavours. Along with dosa, mashed potatoes, coconut chutney and Sambhar were also served to savor the moment of utter happiness.
Payasam (4/5) was cooked with grace.
Overall a great experience on weekend.

I think the only place in Jaipur serving such a varied South Indian menu. I had the Kerala thali, iddyappam, tapioca stir fry, masala papad and the khuzipaniyaram. The host was very well versed with the menu and courteous. The chef cane and interacted with us as well. A warm and memorable experience.
Must try the masala papad! They were so light, crispy and yummy. They serve it with tangy rasam.

I have visited this cafe, It is a nice place to visit if you are a South Indian Food lover.
It s in the backside of The Lalit Hotel.
The ambience is soothing and the interior is done with the South Indian touch as well as they play songs based on the theme.
Food:
WE had Kerala Thali: A great combination to have , We loved the pappadam, rice had different texture than what we eat here, Avail , thoran were nice in taste. This thali you must try, You wont be able to find it in whole Jaipur anywhere.
Dosa: It was perfect in taste and the Sambhar had different vegetables than what we eat usually. Tomato chutney & green chutney was also served with that as well as gun powder. Must try it with gun powder.
Uttapam: It was so beautifully cooked. and the taste was delicious.
Kerala parantha with curry: It is a parantha made with wheat flour and served with Chettinad curry.
Idiyappam: Vermicili served with coconut milk or curry. It is a speciality of The Lalit Ashok Bangalore.
Appam: Thinner appam made with rice batter and served with coconut milk with stew. It was nice in taste.
Payassam: It is a kind of dessert which means kheer and you should try this at this cafe. Because I loved this one, It had balanced sweetness.
NOTE: It is an affordable cafe as the prices starts at rs. 90/- You can enjoy your meal with the good ambience.
