The food at the restaurant on the rooftop is good. And the view is very good.
The staff are friendly and helpful. Although, I wouldn't trust their recommendation for a guide, it was about twice the going rate.
What let this place down was the room. Substandard for the price.
The service is really good. I loved the food . Their staff was very friendly. We visited there before our time, and they were very understanding they gave handed over us room keys on a single request. Their rooftop is really beautiful. we enjoyed having dinner there even you can see nahargarh fort from their . They have a cafe on the 3rd floor, which gives a really positive vibe. we enjoyed having breakfast there .hotel is really kid friendly . I really appreciate their chef and their staff💖💖💖
The hotel is in a very good location, almost every tourist place comes under the radius of 1-3 km from the hotel. The Service boy Mr. Lal Singh is very hardworking, He listens to us and provides everything which we asked for. Food was ok. The view from the hotel was fantastic 😍 You can see the whole city from here and the night view is amazing from the rooftop. The only issue is basic amenities, like there is no intercom facility available in the room, Bathrooms are not cleaned properly, the TV remote was not working, and the AC switched on during nights only.
Overall it's worth staying there.
This hotel was great for our family of four. Our plane didn’t land until 12 am and so we had contacted our the hotel to let them know around 3 pm that day. When we arrived at midnight it was very tough to wake up the staff and they were not prepared for us. They gave us two rooms even though we didn’t need two rooms. Yet that very next morning it was already sorted out before we woke up! They had our right room ready and we’re wanting to move us immediately. My husband and I went to walk around and orientate ourselves with the area. The hike to the nearby fort was steep but worth it you will see a small step well, kites flying, and much more of the local area. The breakfast was basic but delicious. After changing rooms we were approached about needing transportation. We had thought to look around by foot this day and get ideas from a few places. After our research the hotel was the exact same price, after a bit of bargaining, as on the street. 900 rupees for 9-5 to go to the fort, large step well, water palace, and other places my husband had on his list. THe hotel location is great for seeing the city palace and much more by foot if you are active. We have a 10 and 12 year old daughter and they did it easily. We did hire a tuk tuk driver to take us to the water palace this first day and he was nice, but then was quite persistent on visiting his textile factory and then his friends fabrics store oh and then then place he wanted us to try and eat at. Finally he dropped us at the city palace and we finished our touring. Back at the hotel we agreed with the hotel manager to take his tuk tuk offer. We assumed he would be our driver but this is a poor assumption. He unfortunately was not. The driver, name was Lucky, got started the ride by showing us his reviews and comments from past riders. The most recent was 2018! I was alarmed right away. Then as him and my husband talked about for the third time where we wanted to go he wanted to take us somewhere else. This happened so often, as well as telling us we bought bad poor rugs the day before we needed to go to his place, how much we paid for the hotel, rugs, anything we did how much was always the question he asked. When I told him I did not want to talk about money at all he then said “yes ok but just tell me how much?” Finally he took us to the fort. We got out early due to so much traffic and walked to the fort. Spent two hours exploring then went up to the Jaipur palace we explored another house. We called and called for the 30 to 45 minute trek down from the highway point. Our driver and he never answered so we walked to the large step well. After exploring here 20 minutes the driver called. He would meet us there. He arrived 30 minutes later. I have no idea where he was but it wasn’t at the fort since traffic was a lot less since we had arrived 4 hours earlier. We tried to cut our loss and have him take us to a place our girls had picked for lunch and be done with this driver BUT he was relentless. He didn’t want to take us to the place our girls found. He knew a better place and he kept turning the wrong way. We had to stop twice for my husband to show him that we knew it was wrong. We arrived with still two hours paid for the driver left and just paid him and aid we were done. We ate and walked out of the restaurant and hour later and he was still there! I called an Uber and went away! So basically the hotel is great and worth the money for a self walking tour, breakfast, and more. But don’t use the driver without a confirmation of whom or your service maybe.
The stay and food was decent. The worker there Mr Rajput and theMr Lal was very approachable. Location is also good and feels safe but I would highly suggest not to opt for any packages there. We took vehicle packages considering the decent behaviour of Mr Narendra. We thought he would travel along with us but it was his brother and we barely enjoyed his company. He just want to drop and pick from places as soon as possible and finish his job. He would complain if he had to drive at night. If he is driving at night , he would get anxious and scream to other drivers and babble himself. We also learnt that driver in a journey also impacts highly on a tour.
Bharat Sir, the host is an extremely reliable man who treats you like his own child, he is very kind and helpful and the best host ever. The hotel is very pretty with a front view of the Nahargarh palace, the rooms are very clean and spacious. I stayed in their mountain view room on the first floor for 3 nights which had a very scenic view. Lastly, the food served is extremely low priced and of a very high quality with a very tasty breakfast, the behaviour of the staff is also remarkably polite, I would totally recommend this places as it’s only at a 5 minute distance from the Nahargarh Fort.
It's right below the mountain on which Nahargarh fort stands. The way to trekking for Nahargarh Fort starts from here.
Old Jaipur, hard to reach, but God, the view from terrace is killer. The wind at night, the freshness of mountain. It's worth every penny we spent.
There's a short guy there, I forgot his name. The most smily and kind guy you'll ever meet.
A few things they should work on, but we see how hard they're working on improving right now.
Rooms was ok
But there is lock problem and charger socket problem there is lot of charger plug point but something it's working
Food was superb
Staffs was polite and good
It's near to nahargarh fort for photoshoot place will be good but room was in a tiny street 6 wheeler was not able to go inside its 100 metre to walk
If you want to change the complimentory food he will be change i stayed here for 2 nights it's for me
Thanks for our memorable day to share with us .....
A very good hotel, food is very tasty, room is very clean, and staff people are very kind.even though it's nearby area is not good the hotel itself is very very good
The place was excellent!
Service , location was all very good , we really enjoyed the stay .
Excellent service with excellent staff and very cooperative and recommended for foreign nationals as well since there is a well english speaking staff
Rooms are clean and generous sized. Loved the staff hospitality and attention - definitely the stand out feature of this place. The included breakfast was yummy and good quantity. We had breakfast at the terrace rooftop, which offered an outstanding view of the Nahargarh Fort. The hotel is set in a local/ small neighbourhood. Fabulous value for money.
The location of the hotel at the base of the famous Nahargarh Fort means that you can walk for about 20-25 minutes from the hotel to reach the top of the fort. Very convenient. We walked up to the fort just before dusk, so we could enjoy both the day and night sweeping views of the city.
To note: While the approach road is narrow, there is parking at the hotel, and Ubers can easily make a U-turn from the hotel parking area.
Good place to stay, staff is very humble and good, rooms are clean but there is no intercom for room service , need to improve its services
Great hotel with good location. From the central train station to the hotel is 100rs or less. From the hotel to the airport its around 400rs. The hotel is a bit old but it's clean, the beds and sheets are clean. Bathrooms clean too.
The food in the restaurant also is good. The service is very good, kind and friendly!
There is a roof top, wich is the best thing. Amazing views of the city, sunset and sunrise! Recommend!
