Be politics and this restore santosh bhojan laya are very good food delivers in series varieties
And this reatro are very good and tasty food
Best rajasthani food in jaipur at reasonable price, their traditionally prepared red chutney is a delight,
Families should enter in right side glaas gate, that ambience is better
If you love daal baati churma and unlimited daal baati churma then you should go there. I love this place and price is also economical.
I am a big fan of rajasthani food so I would love to go there again.

This was the place suggested by a Nimbu Paani waala uncle. Initially we were very reluctant looking at the ambience but we entered and order Rajasthani Thali. Service was too quick and started with hot chapatis, Dal was the added advantage of the Thali. 2 types of sabzi and both were awesome in taste followed by rice and Dal Bhati Churma. This was my first time with Dal Bhati and Churma but it taste amazing. They served with Ghee and Sugar. Cost is too cheap as compared to Thali in our hotel. It's just 100 bucks. Value for money as compared to taste and unlimited food.
If you are looking by ambience I would rate 4 but for service, taste and quality n quantity of food I would rate 5.
Rajasthani people tends to eat spicy food so you have to manage it with water like I did.
I was completely new at Rajasthan and heard about the famous dish 'dal bati churma' and I also wanted to try the dish as well.. for recommendation I asked few local people , most of them suggested me this place so I went there ..
I was amazed by the hospitality of the store keeper. won't say anything about the dish where local peoples suggested this place.. they are well aware than me.
Closed to Sindhi camp metro station however very economical and prompt service from staff it only costs Rs. 100 per person/thali with dal-bati - roti+ subzi +rice
Recommended for all foodies with reasonable budget and pocket friendly.
1 star less since the bati quality is not up to the mark, rest all good!!
Nothing can beat the traditional food of Rajasthan that is available here and also for the most reasonable price. Always come here when I haven’t had food that really fills the tummy for some time.
Rating given is purely for the food. Every time we have been here, by default we order Rajasthani thali. Baati, daal, subji, kadi, ghee, missi roti, garlic chutney, churma. All the dishes are deliciously awesome. True Rajasthani taste. And very friendly on pocket too.
This place is known for its rajasthani Thali. I am in love with this food joint. They give their best food at cheap price. You will get a Thali in which they give you dal batti, seasonal vegetable, gatte ki sabzi, kadi, papad, lehsun ki chutney, rice, chappati.
The food is amazing and one should try.
The best place for dal Bhati churma
Same taste from my childhood
They are serving roti and kadi chawal with dal bati churma
Amazing place for dal bati
My all time favorite food
I was in town for a couple of days and wanted to have dal bati churma since I hadn't been home in a while. The food was quite decent here. Not one of the best I've had but decent enough. The churma was really tasty though, and the staff friendly too.
Best and cheap clean place to have daal bati plate. Taste is also awesome. It is located just near bus stand, walks away from Rawat Kachori. Whenever i went to this place it always amazed me. Good Rajasthani food at decent rates. Moreover quality of food is also too good.
Happen to visit this place with my family on our Jaipur trip. We wanted to try some authentic Rajasthani food and finally we decided to visit this place based on various online and local people's review.
The food was very yummy and delicious, they had options of two thalis and since we were 4 of us we ordered 2 of each.
The server was very helpful and accommodating, he helped us understand the dishes and lunch much better.
The only issue that we faced was reaching this place at its pretty crowded area and you might just get confused as there are two Santosh around and the crowd of the restaurant which when going with a family could be an issue.
Authentic Rajasthani food. The service is great. I'm so glad I went there. Ate the Daal, Bhati, Churma. They served 2 vegetable curries, kadi and a salad. All for the meager price of Rs. 100.
Located at the Sindhi Camp Bus stand this place is well known to many people in Jaipur. This place is famous for its Rajasthani cuisine and for its low rates. You can have an unlimited thali for nominal prices here. You should not expect anything in the name of ambience because it is a food joint located near a Bus Stand and these type places are more about good taste, low rates and quick service.
So overall this place is a nice place and one can visit this place whenever he wants to have Rajasthani food.
So finally after a lot of searching for dal bati i got this place...place was good and so as the dal bati....we dont hav to wait for our plate as lot of ppl wr serving..although the taste was not good as wat i eat in Jodhpur bt it was good..
For just Rs.120 you get unlimited servings of Daal, Baati with ghee, churma, Kadhi, sabji, salad, papad and more which is astonishing in 2017.
Prompt service. Must visit in Jaipur.
Had the famous Rajasthani thaali here on my recent to Jaipur. The place serves good quality of food. I specially love the Kari it was amazing. A Must try
Beautifully made local delicacy, daal-baati-choorma, a must have for people visiting jaipur. And keep a little stuff for chopra in the end. You can also have a post rice and roti afterwards.
The restaurant is a bery good the food is bery nice dal bati churama Aal rajsthan is good food thank i visit in the servis by very tilent is
In all hustle and bustle of Sindhi Camp, a decent clean restaurant serving authentic Daal Baati and Churma with approx. 20 ml of pure desi ghee.
Quality is excellent and reasonably priced.
Trying once is a must...
A perfect place to eat dal bati and churma. They have good quality of Rajasthani food. I have tried so many times with my friends and every time i feel very happy after taking food from here.
if you are really hungry and you want to have simple and plain rajasthani food with daal bati churma you can try this place. Food was good but the ambiance and hygiene is something which will stop me to visit again.
Yeah, I think my parents are better one who can tell us in much better way...thali house and santosh bojnalay are the competitors...
Overall a decent a daal bati 3.5
If you want to have a quick daal baati meal in Jaipur, Santosh Bhojanalaya is your one stop! Quick and efficient service and great food! Ask for their garlic chutney as it goes well with the baati and daal. Their thaali is good enough for two people.
Dear owner, can you please fix and write on the menu what to be served in the meal and what is not included?
First time I visited, dal bari churma all were part of meal, 2nd time you denied churma.
Dal bati withour choorma? Too bad as it sounds
Anyways taste is good, don't expect hygiene to be maintained.
Wow! Every rajasthani loves daal baati... so get landed here to try some of it. Deliciously cooked, awesomely served. The best is here. Love the taste..
Good for daal baati, stay away if you only like high class places. Ambience and hygiene is not up to the mark but taste is pretty nice for the price.
So we were looking for good Daal Baati and we tried this place.
From outside it looked like a bad place but I have learnt not to judge a place by its outside look. Some of the small looking places usually serve the most authentic food.
Daal Baati was really good and we enjoyed it.
I have given 4 stars because of their ambience. Though it could be better but I guess they are not focused much on that. They have created an AC dining place but it was still OK and not too good.
It is more of a dhaba and I think its fine if they stay this way but could be more clean.
Food and service was good. The host and everyone was nice and kind. We would love to go there again when we are in Jaipur next time.
I'm aware of this place for nearly 17 years and I make sure that I have atleast one dinner here whenever I'm in Jaipur. Its surroundings might sound an alarm in your hygiene meter, but even for an hygiene freak like me I will admit that never in all these years i've got a stomach bug from their food. Staff is very polite and helping. Very quick service as it should be in a Thali restaurant. Food is mild in spices and consistent as ever in taste. Everything tastes wonderfully well, but the mix dal with ghee chapati, kadi with rice and Dal bati churma stand out in particular. These items taste heavenly and for a price of 100 bucks per thali, I'm sure even Aladdin's genie can't get you a better tasting deal in Jaipur.... :-P
Must visit if you have penchant for Rajasthani food.
Ideal place for daal,baati,churma
They make it real good.
Other thali options were good,bt have daal baati and churma here.
Tasted churma for d first tym and loved it
Authentic dal bati and regular thali food available here, usual roti sabji thali with good taste I find here near bus stand, management are good enough to look after customers
its a heaven for daal baati churma lovers , authentic and traditionally awesome food . dont miss if u are near at jaipur junction...........
synonymus with dal baati pecial thaali for last many years,
have been here number of times, good food, nice taste as less spicy
and service is nice , value for money
only hygiene factor is something they should look upon
otherwise nice place, and public demand place because of nice location
You can't miss the Dal Bhatti Churma at this place if you are in jaipur. Situated just beside the Sindhi camp metro station is the best place to have authentic Rajasthani dish. Though the place is a bit crowded and the entrance is dirty but the food overpowers this shortfalls. The price is very cheap and all the sabjis, chutneys are repeated numerous times.
We went to this age old bhojnalaya on our way to the airport. Though we were getting late but because of the feedbacks we wanted to try it.
Good small place. Ambience not great as it is a very old place but they treat you well.
Can't compare it with Chowki Dhani as its a class apart.
“Dal Bati Choorma Delight”
This came highly recommended by my brother for the best Dal Bati Choorma meal in Jaipur and it met all our expectations. The service was impeccable, the interiors clean & hygienic and the food was very delicious indeed! We had a real good time here and recommend this to everybody looking for an authentic Dal Bati Choorma meal in Jaipur.
Having been my first visit to the pink city, I was completely disinterested in eating the same old north indian or chinese food. Ab Jaipur aakar shahi paneer or noodles khana seemed criminal, so traditional rajasthani cuisine was on the cards for me.
It was around 9 that my hunger reached dangerously critical levels. So the plan was to lay siege on the first place that donned the words, "thali".Driving along this road, our driver spotted a series of joints located adjacent to one another. So the selection of this place was purely random.
First impression : honestly, the place was dilapidated and I didn't have much expectations (But boy! how wrong I was !). The furniture was grimy and the ambience wasn't too great. But who cares when only authentic rajasthani thali is on your mind. We were 8 people so we ordered 8 thalis. The thalis rolled out to us in the next 5 minutes, so the service was super quick(5/5).
The food : the thali had decent portions of aaloo ki sabzi (a mildly spiced aromatic preparation), green dal (probably the best green dal I have ever eaten; perfectly balanced spices and that hint of garlic tadka, yum!) and gatte ki sabzi (a traditional rajasthani delicacy of boiled besan rolls served in a thick yellow gravy; rich taste of coriander and methi). The highlight of the meal (atleast for me) were the 'dal baati churma'. A crushed ball of some multi grain flour (bajra, raagi maybe) served with an ocean of desi ghee !! Supposed to be eaten with the daal, the preparation took the medal. The oyher accompaniments were tawa roti, rice and a lightly spiced garlic chutney.
THE BEST PART IS THAT YOU CAN EAT AS MUCH AS YOU CAN !! Since it is a thali system, keep ordering for refills and the staff will happily load your plates till you burst...:) My desire of enjoying a typically traditional rajasthani meal (in Rajasthan), finally came true !
The place is ideal if you're not too much into the quality of ambience, but want to concentration on the sheer quality of the food. The price : quantity ration gets another 5/5. The food was fantastic and seems as though it is a home cooked meal. Light on the stomach with a filling experience is what you'll get. What this place loses in sight, is what it gains more than enough when you get a taste of the wonders they serve on their plates.... a big thumbs up !
U don't expect much from a place near bus stand but its quite surprising with its Daal bati and stuffed paranthas. A treat for the travellers!! Forget ambience n overlook crowd, noise sometimes cleanliness.
Really an unexpected treat of pure rajasthani food. Dalbati is worth eating here. Barring the ambience, the food is really good. Worth visiting once
Daal Churma was too good. Staff was friendly. Need to improve the hygiene.
No nonsense thali in the heart of Jaipur...dal, baati and seasonal vegetables cooked carefully to appeal its guests...ideal for a budget meal with full satisfaction..I still make it a point to enjoy a lunch here on every visit to Jaipur
Been there a long time back. Best place for Rajasthani food at cheap cost. Ultimate tasty food at reasonable prices. Buffet system is nice .Dal Baati is good in taste and also rice and Kadi. The Air conditioned section is also maintained well and the rates there are also comparitively affordable. Good quantity of food and tastes amazing.
The place to be if u want to taste good rajaathani food for cheap......
Locate in a busy street.....nothing great about the ambiance of the place.....they have an ac family room though.....
They only serve the unlimited thali.....
The place is known for the 'dal- bati- churma'.......bati is crushed with a generous helping of ghee....and eaten with the dal.....truly great taste...
There s also chapatis and missi roti (made from besan ....thick, crispy-- another must try!)...
2 curries , 2 varietes and 'kadi' of dal come alone with this....the rice to finish off the meal...
N all this for a 100 bucks (unlimited!!)
So overall.....great place to be (even if ur cash restricted!) for good local rajasthani food....
Guess will always visit this place if I have lesser bucks in the pocket n if I'll be hungry ! Have visited quite a number of times & haven't tatted anything other than 'dal baati' !! The homemade taste & unlimited deal satisfies the hunger & temptation for Rajasthani food ! Advised for people acquainted with city life & not tourists ! As located amidst the busy area !
Some places are not known for ambience and class. But they are known best for the food which is served be it limited options. This truely is one of those places where you go only because of food and nothing else matters.
I have gone to this place since umpteen years again and again only for Dal, Bati and churma which is uncompareble. The rate is truely damn cheap for the quality they serve.
Pure clean vegetarian restaurant with nothing else to explain other than food.
If visiting for Jaipur don forget to try out n pls don be calorie concious. Amazing Dal Baati being served here.
The place is quiet good to have food near Sindhi camp area. The taste of daal baati was good and other dishes were also made with proper hygien and fresh material.
best place to have authentic local jagra bati. this place is underrated being situated on the bus stand, but trust me on this , I have spent 5 years in beautiful Jaipur and this place never disappoint when you have urge for Dal bati.
Situated on busy street this is an authentic Rajasthani place. Nothing fancy, cushion on the chairs are broken, looks shady but taste is worth it if you are daredevil enough
Santosh Bhojnalaya is a very well known restaurant in Jaipur. It is situated near Jaipur's main Bus stand Sindhi Camp Bus stand when you arrive at Sindhi Camp Bus stand turn a left from exit Gate if the bus stand and walk for around 70 meteres you can see the Santosh Bhojnalaya. This restaurant is pure vegetarian so don't expect any non vegetarian dish here. There are so many restaurants in the by lane of Sindhi Camp Bus stand but Santosh is the most famous restaurant among them you can judge this by the crowd here.
Let's talk about their dishes Santosh restaurant's major attraction is their thali they have thali system which contains Kadhi, Daal 3 vegetables Salad and Raita apart from this 5 chapati rotis Rice and 2 pieces of Rajasthan's most famous dish Bati and choorma and all this at an unbelievable price just rs 100/- all inclusive.
Good place to eat Rajasthani food near Sindhi Camp bus stand. There is a seperate AC hall. Food quality is also good and price approx ₹ 100 per plate, But not as much as they charge.
Had high expectations, might have been influenced by the reviews. My first thali in Jaipur, felt it was ok. Reviews might add a little hype, just have basic expectations, It won't disappoint you!
Awesome as ever. I've been coming here since childhood. It used to be a dhaba, now a slightly better dhaba but that's not actually bad. The Daal-baati-Choorma is awesome (I prefer the 'Jagraa Baati'. Another kind is 'Baafla Baati'. Don't forget to add 2 spoons of 'ghee' in the mashed Jagraa Baati. Quantity is enough, and the prices are unbelievable. Don't expect anything fancy here but, if you like Baati, you won't leave without being too full. The only con is the location of the place. It's mostly too busy a street.
Good thali with plenty of food... Just 170 only enjoy the meal...
- if you are Dal Baati lover then this is one of the places in Jaipur
- You can get a good quality thali in just 150₹
- they only serve vegetarian food
- you will get, not the exact but, good rajasthani flavor
- parking here is a challenge
- service is quick here and people are polite
- cleanliness is not that good
- overall an good place for Dal Baati lover
If you are looking for daal bati churma near sindhi camp and want to have a quick bite, go for this place , pocket friendly and nice staff good service.
