Gangaur sweets has been here for quite some time and have maintained their consistency. They serve various kinds of sweets along with snacks. The sweets taste good and they also a special kachori sabzi breakfast on Sundays. Be sure to try this. Overall, one of the oldest sweet shops in jaipur that serves delicious sweets.
It's a very good place to eat for vegetarians there are many options and I also feel they serve very hygienic food.
The service is polite and welcoming.
Price wise also they are moderate.

If you are in Jaipur , then puri sabji is must alongwith delicious desi ghee jalebi. And I am must Gangaur sweets is must go place. There is famous Sunday puri sabji that has its own flavour. Do go and try. And also other stuff like dhokla , rasmalai.
The shop has been an icon in c scheme for like ages. Always have new options in sweets. Quality is great. One thing which i just love about this place is....service. The staff is always smiling & courteous. Something which is missing in most of the eateries. Really appreciate the smiles & courtesy of staff. Hats off to the owner for keeping taste & service up to the mark.
Found this gem after much research.. must say it attracts elite crowd, not like the rest of the over hyped sweet shops in Jaipur.
Tried the Sunday Famous Poori Sabzi that hails back to Calcutta. Was delicious.
5 tiny Nagori pooris with Aloo ki Sabzi for 50 rs.
As itβs the only place serving the same hence it enjoys monopoly.
The sweets are also not overly sugared which was good.
Best sweet and namkeen shop in jaipur. Three time Times Food Award winner. Exclusive range of mithai with various packing options. Sunday morning breakfast of Club Kachori with Sabji needs a special mention. Courteous staff and hygienic place.
Recommendations : All bengali sweets, Gulabi Patti Laddu, Dilkushar, Rabri Ghevar, Samosa, Matar Kachori...and the list goes on.

It's one of the oldest sweet shops in Jaipur and still rules the section in some of the categories.
Malai n paneer ghevar- 4.5/5 something to die for. U can never get enough of their ghevars. This shop rules the market when it comes to ghevars π€π

Samosa- 3.5/5 those cute Lil kaju laden samosas, made in Desi ghee are a must have snack every now and then.

This place is kind of popular to have a Kolkata's sweets. What I like at this place is club kachori ehic is ONLY available on Sunday morning and there big size jalebi..
location although not very inviting but the sweets make up pretty well for it. they prepare brown kalakand which is just fantabulous awesome and whatever you might want to call it. i have also eaten malai ghevar Β and other sweets here all have been mind blowing. prices also reasonable

Disclaimer- This is one place which would be known to each and every Jaipur old (age 35+) foodie.
This place was very famous among all for its Sunday morning 10am -12pm Aloo subzi with Kachori, and no doubt it still lives upto the same old delicious combination and taste.
They also specialize in the size of their Jalebi's, if you haven't seen 'Hulk' size Jalebi's before, this is the place that you need to visit Immediately.
Ambiance: 3/5 (Decent sweet shop which mantains cleanliness)
Service:3/5 (Please don't expect the staff to be extra polite or extremely helpful)

The best place to have a Sunday brunch. To die for are the kachories and bedmi subji, which is also known as club kachories in Kolkata. It is a combo of heavenly potato gravy with mildly lentil coated puri. Nothing can beat this. If you are lazy, you may miss out a few items as they are sold out before noon. Do not miss the fresh piping hot jalebis

Gangaur sweets as the name suggests is known for its sweets.. The jalebis, the besan ka laddoo and sandesh. The only shop which reminds me of Kolkata and it lives upto my expectation. Yes ofcourse its not like Kolkata's Gangaur but its like an oasis in Jaipur! And yes i love the special "Aloo Kachori" prepared on Sundays. Lip-smacking and one tends to over eat them. Pocket pinch: nominally priced!
Ambience is that of a typical sweet shop. Please do not expect seating arrangements and fast service of Aloo kachori on sundays! Its way too crowded..
One suggestion on a lazy sunday morning please plan a date with gangaur's aloo kachori and relish them!

Gajjar ka halwa and dal ka halva recommend in winters. Its mouth watering. And for sure it is awesome in matar ki kachori. It is at cool location as well as a clean area to eat.
We use to go over on Sunday for breakfast. Trademark items for breakfast are Jalebis and puri aloo which is a must have. There was to have large gathering on sunday morning for puri-aloo and jalebis, now i don't no as i haven't visited Gangur in the last 3-4 years.
Rasmalai and Kalakand are also good.

Gangaur sweets hails from Kolkata I believe. Since I was born and brought up in Kolkata, I have been a fan of Gangaur since childhood.
Gangaur Jaipur is equally good for me at it serves the best club Kachori(one of the most popular breakfast served in Kolkata) Jalebi in Jaipur. Itβs so good so there is some demand supply gap, you have to wait for around 15 mins if you go on a Sunday morning, but trust me the wait is worth it.
Food is excellent, my advise is takeaway and eat peacefully at home. A little space is available, where you can stand and eat inside the shop, but I would not recommend that. They say they take orders on calls, but as per personal experience, they never answer the phone only.
Must must must try breakfast Club Kachori Sabzi plate and Jalebi. 50/- per plate has 5 kachori and Sabzi. Jalebi is 500/- per kg, you can order as Many grams you like. I have not yet tried any other sweet or snack from here.

This is one place where you can be sure you're getting very good quality sweets. There are cheaper sweet shops near this place. But they have a lot more variety. The last time I went here, I was very happy with what I purchased. It was a sweet consisting of some nuts chopped and mixed with gulkand (a kind of rose jam) and all covered with crushed dry rose petals. It tastes very delicious and one imagines if the totals of old may have enjoyed thinks like these.
Simply outstanding . The crowd in the shop speaks volumes about the sweets quality and taste. Poori bhaji which is their Sunday morning special, is another attraction and pulls hundreds of customers. Best part is their customer dealing as they manage the customers with ease and deliver sweets with a smile. If you want quality with taste, this shop should top your chart.
Nice place, good food. Affordable. There are better Kachrois and Samosas down the lane though! Great Rasgulas and Dhoklas. Nice sweets too. Love the packaging and safety standards. Staff could be kinder to the homeless outside.
Best daal ka halwa you can buy in jaipur π. Excellent sweets, we also love the pineapple sandesh. Great service. Was especially impressed with all the precautions being taken for Covid, made us feel comfortable visiting

Gangaur sweets carries a unique tradition for serving Aloo Sabji and Mini Pooris prepared in Desi Ghee. But it is only available on Sunday Morning. I like it and will also recommend for anyone looking a different breakfast option. Gangaur sweets also have some special varieties of sweets that are not usually available in Jaipur.
