Yesterday night I went to Shankar dhaba & garden for dinner....
Ambience was quite good..... There was no rush at 8. PM
Afterwards people were coming..
We ordered butter paneer masala, Malai kofta vegitable rayta, tandoori roti...
It felt like the greavy was same of both the vegitables...
Tandoori roti was unkooked...rayta was tasty...
Price was also high..
This place is ok ok...
Good Dhaba food experience... ps dont expect fine dining experience here, just good food.
Items to be ordered: Malai kofta, dal & lehsun ki chatni, butter nan (can't find it more crisper ), laacha pyaj, green chillies (they serve free but u need to ask.. it's fried and taste good). Aloo chat as snack.
Prefer to drink bottled water only... Masala paapd is also a popular choice but I personally find it to be too salty.

Though everything is available in cafes now a days,from dal makhani to daal bati and because of that it becomes real difficult to step into an actual dhaba.
But there is nothing like the whole experience. Chilli night and sitting outside with people you love over a huge table and comfy chairs. Smell of tandoor and piping out food served on other tables increases your appetite.

Tasting-
•Aloo chat- Tangy from generous dried mango powder. Wrapped in foil paper and sealed by toothpick,the quantity was great and the flavours were just right.
Main course-
Malai kofta- Medium on spice and its just your regular malai kofta nothing extra ordinary but definitely the amount of ghee that is put in all the dishes is so generous that it literally freezes in cold.
Daal tadka- Extra spicy as we demanded double masala to kill the chill. Amazing taste because being desi(Indian) we all can expect that consistent flavour that is served for years in dhabas across highways.
Garlic chutney- Never can you ever miss this when you visit a dhaba. No matter which season,time or place you are from. Major garlic cravings satisfied.

Always the best place to eat. We have tried almost everything there and everything is just so good that you will on visiting there. Try paneer lababdaar and daal tadka.

Well , this place needs no introduction to jaipurites, because it is, by far, one of the best dhaba in jaipur.
Staff is really very polite. Talking about hygiene , they will clean the utensils in your presence , just before putting them on your table . Malai kofta , as i already mentioned is really very delicious and spicy ! Even you want the breads to be more crisp or little soft, you can tell them and they will definitely do it . Strictly vegetarian and what else.. yes ambiance..they have there dines in open ..and one area with roof too. Total family dhaba as it is. For non jaipurites, if you are in jaipur and want some really spicy food you can visit here.
One of the best dhabas in town and they have been serving the city from many decades.The services are quick .The food quality is amazing and consistent .The Shahi Paneer is out of this world.The Butter Naan and the taste of other breads is also excellent.A must try Place if someone is new to the city
I think as a dhaba it is costly, they should change a name from dhaba to a proper Family or garden restaurant.

This is a nice place to go..
Crowd is nice..
The food is tasty but lil bit expensive from other dhabas..
The parking is available but when it's crowdy it is not.
The ambience is like dhaba so it is just good..
We had naan, miss roti and tandoori it was really good..
Raita was awesome and the vegetables - pander butter, gatta curry was somewhere same but okay in taste..
Tadka daal was also nice..

Best authentic DHABA food in jaipur...specialist in butter naan and malai kofta...but remember they offer same gravy for all the main course dishes...

I lyk this place. In winter with angeethi besides you to keep you warm and tasty food. It is awesum. food is tasty and they serve quality. Kadhai paneer and dal tadka is really good. Also ordered laccha pyaj which ws a different kind of salad. If u want to have authentic dhaba food then this is certainly the place to go.

I personally find Shankar Dhaba better than Sharma Dhaba sometimes. I usually come here to satisy my butter naan and malai kofta cravings. Just ask them to prepare less spicy food and its very delicious. Garden ambience is soothing and relaxing when you are coming from a long journey and filling your stomach. Though its a DHABA so you cant expect them to prepare a quality food all time but still love for them never dies.
This is the place I do visit every time I am in Jaipur. The best gastronomic experience I can say. The food is simple but the best. The ambience is a dhaba type, but has a huge seating capacity. The customization or instructions are followed properly, and that's a major advantage for any establishment. We prefer the alu pyaaz ki subji with Dal fry and lachcha ajwain paratha. Absolutely amazing. Don't forget to order the masala onion with papad. Easy on the pocket too
When you are bored of Italian, Chinese then this is the place you are look for. This is a place with great spicy food which everyone loves. Khoya panner is one of my favourite vegetable over there, i just love it.

A gr8 place for dinners. Always crowded...obviously bcoz of its food and popularity. An open place from where u can see ppl going throgh sikar road, they also hv a garden which is also good(according to dhabas). They hv limited variety to offer but definitely they are sufficient to make your mouth water. Masala pyaaz(spiced onions) are their speciality and also a must have item when hving food there. All in all a gr8 place to hangout with family.
What is good here is FOOD , if you wants to eat food as per your taste and ingredients then this is the best one. Garden is not too good but gives you a relax feeling as ample space is available that is too with Open sky atmosphere.
