Karan Dhaba is one of those childhood places and landmarks which has retained it's identity and hasn't changed much.
Yesterday I went for dinner after whopping 9 years. It was good to see most of the same staff when I was there last time , retaining the best staff is key for providing best of food and service. That's what happened, we ordered daal makhani , gatte masala and chapati.
It was one of the best daal makhani I had with homely look and taste, perfect blend of creaminess and spices.
Gatte Masala had an authentic Rajasthan taste to it, it was so good that gatte were dissolving in mouth.
Attendant was doing a lot of efforts providing 1 fresh chapati at a time which is a rarety these days.
Hope you guys remain same and yes next time I won't take 9 years for going back at this place :) :)
Good and appriciated food liks paneer and malaikofa soo yumm in taste succh a goood food and price are also affordable and good place to sit but there is no ac soo good dhaba
you can eat on a daily basis best rates and quantity quality
being a student this won't be a burden on your pocket and you will get quality food too
This is one of the oldest Dhabha in Malviya Nagar. I am a regular visitor just because the food is very good along with its cost. The service is super quick and friendly. Must try for all dhaba food lovers
Best local food joints in the locality - the taste in particular is unmatched. The cook has speciality in few selected dishes like Dum Aloo, Panir Bhurjee, Jeera Aloo. Kulhad Lassi is another fame of this place. During festivals they close dining tables and only offer take away.
It is the oldest dhaba in Malviya Nagar. Opened I think since 1987. Though many restaurants have opened up still they have their presence in people of Malviya Nagar. Quality is very good nt like other dhaba serve. U can take up any vegetable and u will definitely like it. Even tandoori roti is whole wheat. Service us quick. And it is hygienic too.

This was our first visit... So no history to compare it to yet!! The food was alright as was the seating arrangement. Wouldn't mind going again to try out the other dishes.
Karan dhaba was one of the best dhaba in malviya nagar. Few of the things are still good and still it has things like gutta curry and palak paneer doesnot have any competition in malviya nagar.
Hence I have predefined order for this place gatta currt, palak paneer and some time dal fry. I suggest you atleast try gatta curry, palak paneer once you will definitely love it.

Real dhaba experience in the middle of city. Everything is tasty. Sitting and some other area need more improvement but for a dhaba its better and mainly food is good and serve fresh.
Desi Dhaba in the heart of Mslviya Nagar towards Jagatpura Road. Excellent food quality, affordable price, good place for families with Ac dining hall. Loved Malai Kofta with Tandoori Roti here...
Food is really good no extra masala. Price is very low. We ordered food for 6 persons and paid only 700. Restaurant is good with full space.

Tasty food, good quantity and reasonable price
If you are looking for a tongue twister flavour with no so much burden in your budget, then this place will be a perfect fit.
You can enjoy a meal of 3 PAX with around 500 rupees which includes their best dish from the menu.
Parking can be a concern if you are traveling with four Wheeler.
Also, they have a special place for Family which has AC embedded in.
Also, if you are looking for a quick bite with some liquor then this place has a BAR in front of it.

This place is located in sector-13 near by Ghiya Hospital. Best customer service.
Best quality food and price is also average.
