Budget friendly and amazing food. On time service and the staff pampers you with unlimited delicious servings. A family of 5 or 6.will enjoy a lot however the place is not very very large but adequate for sensing rajasthani experience which is all you need if you have a tight pocket and less time.
Was visiting Jaipur last week and wanted to have authentic Rajasthani food. Searching net, we zeroed on two options, Choki Dhani and Shri Thal. Finalised Shri Thal. Went there in the evening, when entering the premises. one is given a very warm welcome with tilak and dhol beating. Snacks were served along with the drink, we forgot all about the ambience and found ourselves smiling from ear to ear and looking forward to have food. The Food served was piping hot. Dal bati was the best dish and we had to stop them from putting more ghee. Jalebi as very crispy and full of taste, Gatta's were too soft. In total sumup I can say its home food away from home. Perfect to the core. It looked like the intention ofΒ the staff is to feed guests till their tummy burst. Must visit place.
One of the best place in city to enjoy Rajasthani Food, with an extensive thali which gives essence of Rajasthan different cuisines. Team was very supportive , and quick. Starters samosa must try , food was quite delicious. And at these prices best in town. Even could be consider as best alternative to chokhi Dhani , be it price or food.

The Food that is being offered at the place is simply awesum.
How I came to know about this is restaurants is during my research work for ZEE NEWS Food Show Desh Da Swaad Season #3.
For my show I wanted the best traditional Food Joint of Jaipur ... and this place is the perfect place wat I was looking for.
The food that Shri Thal Village is offering apart from the hospitality and ambience is simply amazing. From the Wecome drink of Jaljeera to the Main course of Dal Batti Churma, chutneys and the Crunchy Jalebi that are being offered are so Damn Tasty that it actually gives you the traditional and original taste of the food which is missing these days.
I had this food about a month back however the taste is so mouthwatering that I couldnot resist my self to let ppl know about it though my Show and Reviews.
Perfect place of Rajathani Traditional Thali ... Go have it then only you will get to know how Genuine Rajasthani Food Tastes.

Probably the best rajasthani thaali I have ever had. Service was good. Food was homely and delicious. I haven't over-eaten like this in a while. They have MIND BLOWING samosas. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Very tasty food. Ordered the 475βΉ plate. Everything was upto the mark and quality is also very good. One of the best restaurant on Rajasthani theme. Will surely visit again π€
This place is based on the concept of Rajasthani style of dining. They will be welcome you in a traditional manner with dhol and teeka and shall offer you a welcome drink along with snack while you're watching the puppet show. Food is just amazing with lots of variety. We were unable to finish. So yummmmmyyyyyyy.

Shri Thal is a must visit place if you've come to Jaipur. I had a Rajasthani Thali which was specially prepared for me without chill powder. They went out of their way to make it. I loved the complimentary puppet show. The staff is really cooperative.
Good food but I feel its expensive.
So me and my frnds visited this place recently on our day trip to Jaipur. We went for lunch, they have served as some hot drink which was Bajra and Dahi chach kind drink, that was indeed something amazing I have tried. Complete Rajasthani Thaali with varieties of stuffs. Quality and quantity both full marks. However I found it expensive because Royal thaali was not worth those baati extras.

Shri Thaal is best authentic traditional food . Prices are reasonable and they have unlimited food. Best daal Batti churna and jalebi. They have many other variety, excellent taste , not so spicy .
Staff is also very good always standing near you and ready to serve keep filling your thaali again again

Thanks to the hospitality, the ambience and above all delicious servings right from yummy starters till sweet endings. Most of the menu lived upto its authenticity on taste and portion but a special mention goes for awesome Samosa & Jalebis....They were just WoW! Very hygienic.

Visited this place on Sunday after we did not get a place in chokhi dhani...food in taste was good but there is a lack of coordination among their staff..this place in ambience is poor,dinning room was stinking..at the end I must say their daal nayi stands out....one time visit is worth giving a try

After the Great Great success of chokhi dhani a lot of Restaurants comes up with the same theme & come & goes... Some of them survive & some of them vanished from the business. But in my opinion the food business runs on 4 pillars
1- food taste
2- quality
3- staff & management
4- what you offer other than food to customers.
Here we have all the options for food in thali system there are different thalis the food was okay not something that you will goes again & again to have it.
Come onto quality &. Hygienicness of food.. i don't know thats its a bad day for them that i saw some rates there & rats are not a good sign at the place food was offered to peoples.
Staff & management was good and they are trying hard to make this place good & competitive hope to see them working good in future
Other than food chokhi dhani offers smile to peoples coming to them they had to come out with some ideas to attract more peoples.

Reading all the mixed reviews, we were reluctant to go to this restaurant first. But, in the end, we decided to give it a try.
To be frank, the ambiance and theme are exactly like Chokhi Dhani, just very small in comparison. If have been to Chokhi Dhani, theme wise, you will find it disappointing. There is a puppet show that happens here but it's also not very great.
However, its main strength is food, which is much better than what is offered at Chokhi Dhani. All the dishes server (which were a lot) were hot and tasty. They felt like proper Rajasthani food. I especially liked Kadhi, Bati, Gatte, Bajre ka Khichda and jalebis. They also offer Samosas as snacks which were awesome too.
To summarize, if you are expecting fun like Choki Dhani, please don't visit. However, you are in for awesome Rajasthani food (although a bit overpriced) then do give it a try.
Typical rajasthani theme and ethnic feel. They serve a good thali but the service is not gr8. Needs lots of improvement. Not much to say about this place, but try the gujju thali and the dal batti churma. It will be difficult for them to compete with my fav - Chokhi Dhani
The Best Rahasthani Food in Jaipur, especially their Winter Menu is must try.
The place is also very conveniently located in city limits so you do not have to worry about getting out of city in this traffic congestion life. It saves your time & gives you what you want.

A good place to be with family for authentic tasty Rajasthani and Punjabi food. Ambience ,quality of food and hospitality is really appreciable . Did 3 birthday parties at this place and glad to say that my guests were delighted everytime. Lastly but not least the owner of this place are always very supportive,cooperative and polite with their customers . That's all about my experience and looking forward to enjoy always good cuisines of Shri Thaal specially their "Karari Jalebi". :) :)

This place is for all those people who want to experience authentic Rajasthan food. They have a fixed menu as per the season, which is served unlimited as per your appetite. Since it's winters we had bajra Rabdi in chach as welcome drink, which was awesome. Then besides the usual Dal bhatti churma, gatte ki Sabzi, winter special was khichda, which was again too good followed by crispy jalebis. If you really want to fiesta and siesta head to shri thal.
I went there with friends and did like the taste of the food. All three of us liked most of the dishes in Thali.
Being a Rajashthani myself, I know the taste of all stuff they offer.
Ambience is good and the staff is good too. It's a good place to have local food and experience local culture.

My 20 family members were there and enjoy Rajasthani food with mixture of normal food in Traditional Thalis,Glasses,Jugs. Quality of food was normal and hygienic.
In the last they offered to wash hands on traditional utensil, which we liked most.
Restaurant is decorated with Traditional style and all of us enjoyed sitting on seats
Mudhhas (chairs) and take snaps with many Rajasthani Idols.
May visit with group for dinner.
Rates are quite normal.
We are so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes drive away from home. Food is stunning, both the rooftop and downstairs restaurant. Love this place and will continue to visit.
