The best place to have authentic parsi cuisine. Salli chicken deserves a special mention - it tastes amazing both with paratha and rice! The chicken grilled sandwich was delicious. Also tried their Shakshouka and Dhansak chicken, it was so so good! The dessert could have been better, it was a Nutella cheese cake. The setup is vintage, decent, minimal and the outdoor seating could be a great option if the weather supports!
This cafe is like stepping into a time machine with its cool Parsi theme. The retro vibes are everywhere, from the decor to the music. Food is just amazing. Do try Biscoff cheesecake, Bhelpuri, Misal pav here. The cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to chill with friends
My recent visit to Akuri in Jaipur was a delightful culinary journey that left my taste buds dancing with joy. The restaurant offers a range of dishes, The Misal Pav was a flavor explosion! The perfect blend of spices and the kick of heat made it a fantastic choice. The Cheesy Pav Bhaji was a comfort food lover's dream. The creamy, cheesy twist to the classic dish added an extra layer of richness. It was a hearty and satisfying option although they can be a bit more generous with the cheese topping. The Rustoms Paneer Steak was a vegetarian delight. The paneer was perfectly cooked and marinated, making it a mouthwatering dish. The Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake was an absolute showstopper! It was a heavenly experience with a perfect balance of sweetness and the unique Lotus Biscoff flavor. Every bite was pure indulgence. The Blueberry Cheesecake was also delicious, but it fell slightly short in terms of freshness. It is a must-visit for food enthusiasts looking for a fusion of flavors and a delectable dining experience. 😄🍽️👌
I recently dined at Akuri and was absolutely impressed. The restaurant's modern decor inspired by Bombay and comfortable seating created a lovely ambience, with just the right lighting. The Mushroom Toast with Hummus was crispy and delicious, though a bit more hummus would be great. The khari pizza stole the show with its unique crispy, flaky base and mouthwatering flavors. Akuri offers both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying the sights of Jaipur. The service was exceptional, with attentive, courteous, and knowledgeable staff who provided great recommendations. Overall, Akuri exceeded my expectations with its fantastic food, delightful ambience, and excellent service. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience in the city.
Been coming to Akuri a bunch lately in Jaipur! It is one of my favorite restaurants to come and work at. The food, drinks, vibe, and staff are all reasons why I keep coming back! I can’t recommend this place enough!!
Make sure to get a Vietnamese cold brew, cheesy pav bhaji and their cheese cake! So tasty!
This is probably the only authentic Parsi Restaurant in Jaipur. The decor and feel is creative and light, just like the Parsi restaurants in Mumbai. The food is the biggest draw. Keema pav, Salli chicken, khari pizza and crispy okra are must try. The service is a bit slow, but it is made up by the excellent food. Recommended for a unique food experience in Jaipur.
Drinks & deserts were amazing! Food could be a little better. It lacked a little flavour. Atmosphere was cozy .
If you are a vintage lover and old soul kind of personality, then this is the right place for you. It will take you to the old Mumbai which means bombay ambience. The food was very tasty Moreover the owner himself put extra attention from tasting food to each and every corner of this restaurant. Whole sole low key, aesthetic cafe with persian vibe and classical aura.
Went multiple times for breakfast and had good experience. Good for specially for non veg lovers.
I recently dined at Akuri in Jaipur and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The ambience of the restaurant was lovely with its modern decor and comfortable seating arrangements. The lighting was just right, making the space cozy and intimate without being too dim.
To start, we ordered the onion rings and were not disappointed. They were perfectly crispy and the accompanying chutneys were a nice touch, adding an extra layer of flavor to the dish.
However, the standout dish for me was the khari pizza. It was a unique twist on traditional pizza with a crispy, flaky base that was both delicious and satisfying. I highly recommend trying this dish if you visit Akuri.
The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, which is great for those who want to enjoy their meal while taking in the sights of Jaipur. Additionally, valet parking is available, making it easy and convenient to visit.
The service at Akuri was also noteworthy, with the staff being attentive and courteous throughout our meal. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great suggestions when we were unsure of what to order.
Overall, my experience at Akuri was fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Jaipur. From the delicious food to the lovely ambience and excellent service, it is definitely worth a visit.
If you’re nostalgic about old Bombay and that Irani/Parsi cafe vibe, Akuri is the place to go to in Jaipur :) love the quirky blue car at the entrance, Misal Pav is well done as a dish. If you’re a chocolate lover, get a plate of the chocolate chip cookies to share - trust me, you won’t regret it :)
Delicious authentic Parsi food, lovely ambience, and great service!
An absolute treat for a nice cozy set up!
The interiors speak largely of, Vintage feel of a Bombay's Parsi set up.
The food whatever we had ordered was mouth watering.
The service was quick and the staff was pretty courteous!
Kudos for the setup!
I've never had Parsi food before and this was going to be my first experience. But first, I have to mention the ambience. It was a really good experience. The little touches with posters, painted quotes on the walls and antique furniture made the place seem very comfortable and welcoming. Even the blue car near the entrance was a nice surprise as that as the first thing you see when entering.
The Irani chai was very good and served in an interesting way too. We got a bunch of other small snacks and everything was really well presented and also tasty. Every dish was a first for me and I definitely enjoyed all of them. It did take a little longer than we had hoped to get the food, and that might have felt longer as we were pretty hungry. But it was worth the wait. Will try to go back for more snacks and definitely the chai with maska bun.
Great place for breakfast, I liked the masala french toast and Akuri with pav
Recommendation by a local chef. I was not familiar with Parsi cuisine, but was interested in trying something different. The mushroom chai was great, very peppery and was accompanied by a puff pastry topped with onions, I liked it but was expecting something more creamy because of the word “chai”. Next was chicken keema with two toasted buns, which was outstanding. Paneer steak with crispy onion and paprika was also great. Then the lamb shank, very tender meat, very intense curry. I really enjoyed all the food. Everything tasted great and seemed of high quality. Service is great as well. Thanks for the introduction in Parsi food.
Professional and polite staff
Suggested food by *RESHAM* - grilled chicken with vegetables great suggestion
Totally worth
Thanks Resham for the guidance and help
This place made my trip to Jaipur a little more memorable. The place is very tastefully decorated and offers great very good look and feel overall. The head server here was so well behaved and helped patiently to explain different dishes in the menu. I personally found this place to be extra good for the old world charm it had.
This place has both indoors and outdoors seating. The menu was good too in the sense that it offers interesting Mumbai style food for almost every age group.
I ordered a vanilla frappe, soya keema pao and lemon cranberry chia seeds drink. Everything was perfect. Finding a parking was a bit complex but it is advised to ask from a local if you are not from Jaipur.
