It’s one of the famous and well maintained fort not only in Rajasthan but also in India. Art work and other old things in museum are really good. One will need around 4 hrs to observe this fort in a good way. Lift arrangement is also good not only for disabled people but also for saving time to climb up the fort.

Mehrangah fort is one of the largest forts in India. It is a must visit place of one is visiting Jodhpur. The fort has many historical item places inside the fort. It will take 2-3 hours to see the complete fort. Well maintained fort. Outside eatables are strictly not allowed and even selfie sticks are not allowed inside the fort to maintain the cleanliness inside the fort. There are no locks / clock rooms to keep these so once should not take it. There are cafes inside the fort to have food. Multiple Water cooler a available to drink water.

Mehrangarh Fort View Point is basically a different place from Mehrangarh fort which is a bit behind Mehrangarh Fort. From this view point the Fort looks very beautiful from a distance. The whole view of the fort building is available only from this view point. If you look from inside the compound then you will not get this view. I suggest to take view from this piint.

The sight view from Mehrangarh Fort is truly breathtaking. Perched on a hilltop, the fort offers panoramic vistas of the city of Jodhpur and its surroundings. You'll be able to capture stunning views of the blue-painted buildings of the old city, the vast Thar Desert, and the majestic landscape that stretches out beyond. Whether you're taking in the sunrise or the sunset, the sight view from Mehrangarh Fort is a highlight that shouldn't be missed.

Huge, historic, royalty symbol and well maintained. Ticket fee is little high but the fort is rich in his history and you can witness some of the very beautiful historical details. View point for Jodhpur.

The complex is located on a hilltop around 122 metres above the surrounding plain and was constructed by Rajput ruler, though most of the existing structure is from the 17th century. Inside its boundaries there are several palaces known for their intricate carvings and expansive courtyards, as well as a museum housing various relics. A winding road leads to and from the city below. The imprints of the impact of cannonballs fired by attacking armies of Jaipur can still be seen on the second gate. Indeed a spectacular historical palace with lift for visitors use an unique inclusion.

Mehrangarh Fort is the best tourist places in Jodhpur city, as it is the most explored one by the tourists that visit Jodhpur. It hence tops the list of places to see in Jodhpur. This royal abode, earlier was one of the most majestic palaces in this city and is now turned into a museum that depicts the rich culture and heritage of Jodhpur. It is one among the largest forts in the country and accommodates several mahals within it.
