We 7 people went for Dinner. Combo biriyani Rice + Green citrus grill was best of all. Same biriyani with American Barbecue was not good. Chicken was Hard to chew.
Kerala Paratha was Perfect and little crispy liked it very much
Hot & Sour chicken, Dragon kurumulagu pepper chicken & garlic chicken all just ok.
Chicken 65 was good but for 180 rupees quantity served was very less.
Juice items all were good. Price was reasonable.
Transparent Kitchen food prepared instantly and served hot. When we ordered biriyani waitress only 4 plates are available which I felt good, they are preparing based on customer frequency.
Ample parking Space. Dining area is small and seating is limited.

It's welcome addition from slice of spice group kind of gave a relaxed atmosphere distinctive from their first rest inside Infopark highway but still doesn't cater to large crowds. Service is stil way slow and expect an average delay of 15 to 20 mins. Food is OK not extraordinary but sits above average . Must try their smoky grills and biryani rice. Rate is bit on a higher side but overall a must visit resturant
Have gone here a few times. Each time we went we didnt failed to order this awesome drink called pling, its a must try. All the Non veg menu is awesome. But there vegetarian menu is pretty average. The people and service is very very friendly
Great food & good ambience... A nice place to hang out with friends and family.. Car parking facility also available.. American barbecue is a must try I would say.. Its a mix of flavours and really yumm... They have other barbecue flavors also... I had butter chicken & nan too..which was also great... Oreo shake was also a good choice
Great ambiance, great food and awesome service. Their American style grilled chicken with bbq sauce and a side of rice is a must try. So is the chicken clear soup.
This is another branch of slice of spice in Kochi. They are famous for their grilled chicken. fish grills also available.I am recommending their pepper beef soup which is super spicy and hot. Grilled chicken with ghee rice combo is worth. I tried almost all the grill flavor and I recommending the smoky red grill.
Awesome and lip smacking food. We had both ordered food and dined here on multiple occasions. Their biriyani rice and chicken combos are to die for, as is the grill fish. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

When ever I think of going out for lunch during my office hours, monsoondays (new chain of sliceofspice) is one of my favourite spot around Kakkanad! One of the most key factor I found was the service, they take pride in explaining their special dishes, serving and also recommends the best. Some of their recommendations were: Smoky Red Chilli Grill, Green Smoky Grill and Green Citrus Tikka(Chicken). They are served separately and also as combos with biriyani rice. The Smoky red chilli and Smoky green masala marination that I tried were absolutely drool worthy. They were well cooked along with the chicken and also they have introduced a section for fish grill called "Amari Samak Grill". And I chose Bluefin Trevally Grill (local name: Vatta Grill). Really loved the masala marination over the fish and was perfectly grilled!

From the beverage section, I tried their famous drink called 'PLING'. Crazy yea? It has got four layers: Passion fruit extract, Mint leaves crushers, plain ice crusher and little lemon juice in it. It tastes good when everything is stirred together well!
First, regarding the location of this restaurant, it's on the way between Kakkanad and Infopark. you won't find an issue with parking space. The restaurant can accommodate around 30-35 people.
Almost everything is tasty in here. Especially the Grilled chicken items. Should try the Red Smoky Grilled Breast and Green Citrus Grilled.
American barbecue photo has been uploaded in the review. it comes with a different sauce which you might not have tasted before and everyone might not like that.
One issue which I have felt and experienced here is the long waiting time for the food to be served.
Service needs to be improved. Avg waiting time 45-60 mins.
The food was good. Ordered hakka noodles and vegetable manchurian both were delicious 🙂

Excellent food but painfully slow service to put it in short. Almost everything on the menu is tasty, I liked esp. The chicken lollipop and green citrus grill with rice combo. While the food is consistently good, the service is consistently slow.
Food was really good.The waiter explained about almost everything on their menu and suggested us the dishes to try.They do take our feedback and also they prepare the food in the way we like.The grilled fish was one of the best i had in recent times.Waiting time is little long since they prepare the food only after we order
