Good service with excellent quantity and quality of food. Great ambience for hanging out with friends and family. I've tried their squid rings and chicken crispy burger, which were amazing in taste and quantity.
Our search for international cuisine landed us at Cafe17, located in Kaloor. We didn't quite expect gourmet experience but to our surprise the dishes we ordered perfected the taste.
The ambience is nice though the place is not huge. It's a perfect dinein for International cuisine and our all time favourite.
The staff are very polite and the food is served well.

When I was there in Cochin, I have try something nearby my place to Cafe 17, I had pasta here, which was very good and the staff was very attentive for all customers.
Very cozy place, nice ambience, steaks are top notch, nice and attentive staff
I love their black current iced tea! Haven't got this flavour anywhere else ! Pasta is the next best there .. not a fan of steaks here .. their shakes are also thick and of good quantity.

Difficult to get car parking on weekends. The seating was limited and wasn’t comfortable. Though the ambience was decent and the staff was courteous. Enjoyed having the crumb fried chicken and chicken florentine. Steak wasn’t upto the mark, a bit too chewy. The strawberry mojito was overloaded with syrup and sweet which is not to my liking. The mint mojito was refreshing and good.
While the fish Provençal used to net me a lot of views on Camfrog, the recipe has changed. The vegetarian Alfredo pasta is also quite nice.
Easily one of the best in Kochi! I have had most of their main course items like Chicken Parmigiana, Chicken Ala Kiev, Fish n Chips, Chicken Florentine, Pasta and many more!
It's reasonably priced, and is delicious. Whenever I'm at some place other than Kochi, I miss places like these because this kinda good food does NOT come cheap elsewhere. Many thanks to the owner for starting this in Kochi. ❤️

ENCHILADA chicken from cafe 17 ravipuram.Cafe17 surprises me each time i try a new one from their menu.This is a main course which is really good.This is actually a chicken wrap with corn and veggies fillings.The speciality of this is the outer sauce and inner filling are contrasting in their spiciness which really really add onto the taste.I cant explain the taste more in words .You guys should try and have the taste.Its a must try one at cafe17 ravipuram. Just happened to stumble upon this restaurant. The ambience was lovely. It had a very casual vibe. It would be a perfect place to just catch up with friends especially after the sunset. The menu is vast. It was quite difficult to choose since I loved almost all of it and it was reasonably priced. I ordered the teriyaki beef burger and my friend ordered the firehouse. The portions were good and it came with a side of fries and coleslaw. The firehouse was very tasty, a touch of tanginess to the spice. But I couldn't taste any of the teriyaki flavour in my burger and the meat was a little dry. But I still enjoyed it. The service was nice and the staff was also very friendly.

Visited Kochi for my national tournament and as soon as I reached the hotel, came across this place.

The paneer was a bit hard, the pesto was superb, veggies were also good and the best was mashed potatoes. The rice was simple.
Overall, the taste of the food was really satisfying.
Good vibe, nice ambience perfect choices in playlist as well as menu. Loved Avocado and honey shake along with mushroom cream and chicken pasta.
A must visit on your next trip to Cochin. We had a quick meal there because I felt like having just sandwiches for lunch. The cream soup is yummy and filling. The Sandwiches were huge so if you're a light water do order only one dish. The chicken with spinach was also good.

A small cafe, nestled in the busy roads of Kaloor. The food is good, with good portions and taste. Their cream of chicken soup is a must. Had went to this place to celebrate my birthday, and the staff was really courteous and nice, and played birthday music etc.

One of the best places for chicken steak in pepper sauce in Kochi. Ambience could have been brighter but I think the food makes up for it. Recommended for a good cup of coffee as well.
This place really got the best out of location where it's placed and the kind of food they serve. Zomato gold again would come to your rescue here. The best part about this place is great food. Though we understand the seating capacity is not the best considering the location where they are. They're burgers are a real treat so don't forget to try them!
My go to place for amazing food.. Always consistent and has never let me down. My favs are chicken a la kiev, meat croquettes and the penne polo upside down. The mojitos especially watermelon and mango are the best in town.
Cafe 17 definitely has one of the best tasting burgers we've recently had, the location just has something special making it easily accessible but feels very much free from the Chaos of the city. The overall experience was good(4.5/5).

For the best Tenderloin Steaks, one should definitely visit cafe 17. We had Chicken A La Kiev and Beef Steak for the main course.
Chicken A La Kiev was made to almost perfection.Nothing to mention about the steak as it is mind blowing as usual. Both these dishes are a must try ones whenever one pays a visit here.
Kiwi mojito ordered was amazing though tasted more to a green apple flavour while the Cold coffee with ice cream was nothing extra ordinary.
The ambience is pretty cool. Friendly staff with satisfactory service. Would definitely come back again.

Would say one of the best cafe from the ones I tried out at ernakulam. It’s quite small in size but serves good coffee and there’s live TV screening too. So a good option to watch matches. We tried out the brownie too, tasted really good.

Perfect place to hang out. It had a perfect screening setup, just what u want from any hangout place.
Decent ambience and responsive crew.
Tried the southern chicken burger with double patty, it was great. Patty was juicy and just as crispy. Talking about crispiness, crispy chicken burger is a must try for those who love some spice. Pasta was decent but not as good as any other competitions (can improve that).
Sandwich had a lot of unnecessary veggies, and had less sandwich spread on it (not worth it). Also, having zomato gold offers us the worthy price to taste comparison considering the irrelevant prices.
Overall great place.

This is one of the best cafes in Kaloor area to chill. The drink named Morning Glory is refreshing and different. It has strong ginger flavour. All of their food is amazing, especially Quesadillas. Salads are okayish. Alfredo Spaghetti and Penne Polo upside down are also the best if you are a pasta lover. Even Veg food is AMAZING here.
Great place that serves good food with a decent ambience. Service is good and the staff is friendly. There are several books on the shelf for those who are desperate to read a book in a cafe..

Drinks and shakes were pretty familiar. The Kiwi mojito was decent, even though it tasted like Green apple. Loved their Cold Coffee (w ice-cream).
The number of 7 tables can be limited at times. But we never faced an issue yet.
Parking - is a little bit packed. A maximum of 3 or 4 cars can be parked. But not really an issue for bikes.

A pretty decent cafe with a very happy vibes all over the place. The staff are very courteous and the rates are not very high, it won't hurt your pocket. The seating is limited and they are comfortable since the ambience is as such. You have books to read if you don't like waiting for you. The food takes a little time to reach your table and it is worth it. I used the zomato gold and I was more than happy with my experience.
So, we ordered Grilled fish and Fish & Chips. The fish and chips were bland, but the tar tar dip saved the day. The French fries were not salted, again the tar tar dip saved the day. The fish was perfectly cooked, but I wish if it wasn't bland. Talking about the grilled fish, this was lovely. It was nice and soft and full of flavours, also, tomato salsa and pesto sauce worked wonders to this dish.

Cafe 17 was quite a nice experience. Located in Kaloor in a rather easy-to-miss location, this cafe is quite popular!
We enjoyed the ambience, sat very close to the TV for obvious reasons. You walk in to this display of an assortment of dessert and you’re already tempted to start from there!
The Nasi Goreng was good (did not expect that from an Indian restaurant) although I felt that the portion size was a lot less than I was expecting for the price! (I am from Singapore and I might be biased when comparing with the Nasi Goreng that we so often eat there). Regardless, it was tasty. The rice was cooked perfectly. A serving of prawn crackers on the side. The chicken satay had an exquisite taste and the omelette was yum!
The Cottage Cheese Steak was excellent! A well cooked rectangular portion of cottage cheese along with delicious mashed potato and boiled veggies really made me satisfied. Not to mention, the steak sauce that accompanied it was superb!
The Nachos were on a separate Anniversary menu. This dish was the only downside that I felt. The nachos were a lot soggy, the salsa sauce that came along with it felt very diluted (and I’m very particular about my condiments). Portion size was really small for the price. A bit disappointed.
Overall, the ambience, the staff, the food taste and quality were definitely 5/5. The small portion size and the nachos were definitely two of the only negatives in our lunch at Cafe 17.
If you’re in the city, Cafe 17 is a must visit location be it for breakfast, lunch or dinner. 😄
This is indeed one of the best cafes in Kochi. We tried their Penne pollo pasta and 17's chicken steak. Both were mindblowing. A nice place to hangout and great customer service too. In love with the place and looking forward to try their other dishes.
The vegetarian Italian options are good. Alfredo pasta and veg stragonof. Would have been better if only there were more vegetarian options. The ambience is a little bit dingy and enough to support a small crowd

Hands down the best pasta I had in Kochi. We had penne pollo upside down and 17’s chicken steak. The steak was also amazing. It’s undoubtedly one of the best in town.
The cheesey fries is a must try if you visit them. Loved each bite of it and it was a love at first bite as well. The hot pasta added much more love to this visit to Cafe17...

One of the bast cafes in cochin. Tried their tenderloin steak. It was too good and was served exactly the way i asked them to. Service is topnotch too!

I had made an order for home delivery. It came well packed. The pasta tasted good and well enough for a person.
You also have a choice of choosing penne/spaghetti/fettuccine.

Wooo after a year or so I decided to show my face writing this review.
I have chosen Cafe 17 because this place is special. 3 years ago I walked into this cozy little place and I was surprised by the food they offered. They were brilliant and I still keep coming back. (Please note the fact I have tried everything in their menu)
So leaving everything beside let's go the core.
Location: Situated in kaloor it's easily accessible, but keep your eyes open as you might miss out this place. Warning you might encounter some real traffic.
Decor: The place is small and well kept. Seating is good they have high chairs and small sofas too. I usually prefer the table. They got some decent collection of popular book. You can pull one up and sit with a hot coffee.
Food: Mind you they have really good breakfast menu which is available till evening. A good old English breakfast is my pick from their menu, essentially one of the best you can find in Kochi. Then the Beef Stroganoff, the gravy composition is well and those juicy beef does the trick. Coming to the drinks almost all of the coolers are worth having, mint and watermelon is the choice from the above.
Final verdict: One of the amazing cafes that's going strong ever since it came to Kochi. Food is really good but they can work on the interiors. If you ask me where to eat I will guide you to Cafe 17.

The Place is situated almost in the heart of the city; really good food and service. The staff are quite amiable and would help you with any need.
Great ambience, polite and friendly servers. The cheesecake is too good. Hard pass on the sizzling brownie, they don't put a lot of chocolate sauce with it which makes the brownie hard and burnt. Would recommend!

Found this cafe on the Kaloor- Kadavanthara road and decided to stop by for Dad's birthday lunch.
The ambience is nice, ideal for a brunch/ dinner out with friends. The murals and GoT cushions add to its appeal. The staff is polite and friendly.
I had their Pesto pasta with chicken and Barbeque Chicken Burger. The pasta was creamy with tender chicken pieces and the flavour of basil. The burger bun was soft and the chicken pieces inside were juicy, the barbecue sauce making it even more delicious. I also ordered a Vanilla Caramel Frappe to go with the pasta.
Would love to visit this place again the next time I go to Kochi.
The ambience is friendly & nice. The music adds to the feel. And finally the aroma of the food gives completeness. To be specific, Meat Croquets & Chicken A La Kiev are must try cuisines. Desserts are good and of course can be made better. Did not like much about the Fish Provencal, the fish cuisine, we had. Veggies need more choices. Anyway, I am pretty sure I am referring the place to my friends & family and I am visiting again.
A snug place in Kaloor, cafe 17 is a tiny cafe serving good food. Amongst 6 of us , we tried a lot of things on their menu : pasta , burger, mojitos, steak , sandwich, smoothie and even nasi gorgeng. Would definitely go back for the pastas especially. Great pop music too!
Cafe 17 is one of my favourite eateries in Kochi. This is largely thanks to the chicken a la kiev with its balsamic reduction which I adore; paired with great service and variety of board games for a delightfully warm experience, every time . I absolutely would recommend.
