Very old restaurant on the Famous Phadke road. Serves very tasty punjabi food. No parking space available for the restaurant. Service was quick and good. Try Hotel Ambika special pav bhaji. Ambience is not that great, as it's one of the oldest restaurants. Sitting arrangement is a little conjusted.

Located in Phadke Road. One of the finest hotel in Dombivli. We had Pav bhaji, Veg grilled Sandwich and Masala Dosa. The food was delicious and mouth watering. Overall great food experience.
I visited this place when I was in dombivli for business.
The veg thali here which is for 100 rs at the time is sumptuous and filling.
Comes with several vegetables, Dal and a sweet. I think it's the most value for money lunch I've had in a while now.
I'd recommend others to visit this place to grab a quick meal and they won't be disappointed.

One of the best place to find an affordable and really tasty everyday VEG food /meal and fresh fruit juices in dombivali east.
Hotel Ambika is located on phadake road which is near from the railway station & a talk of the town place for youngsters & all who commute everyday in or out of the town.
Hospitality and service is really quick and place is well maintained with cleanliness.
You will find most of the continental cuisine along with some delicious dishes like pizzas, sandwiches, starters of all kind.
The reason why I am writing about it without exactly going there recently is, this is one of the places I have had my maximum team dinner/lunch or family dinner outings in dombivali.
One of my favorites and they have all kind of party orders and takeaway orders ready menu.
Also not to forget they make fresh fruits and seasonal juices which are also pocket friendly along with other exciting food menu.

A nice and cosy little place. Fruit Salad with Ice Cream is a must try. Food taste and overall hygiene is satisfactory. A good place close to Dombivli station to grab a quick bite.
Been here many times. Would really tell you all especially the dombivalians that if you all want to eat the most delicious food at a reasonable price then please guys visit this pure veg hotel. Service is also good. Tastiest food items here are South Indian food items and pav bhaji. I just really love it to eat pav bhaji here. You can also taste soups like tomato or manchow or sweetcorn, they are also amazing.
The pav bhaji was extremely good. Impressed by the fast service availed. My morning brunch was made perfect by the bournvita at the end. Was in quite a hurry but made in time because of them!

This restaurant is where we usually order food (take away) as they go easy on cholestrol ratio in their dishes (my mother is health conscious). But the food too is always up to the mark and the family is always satisfied with the food.
This place is one one of the best place in dombivli if you are a pav bhaji lover the special pav bhaji of this place is extremely tasty. I also ordered the veg pizza here and it also is not that bad . The ambience is good and the staff is helpful then quality and the quantity of food both are good . The price is also not too much . So this place is nice to be with Ur family if u want to send some quality time with Ur family.

1 of my dombivlikar friend brought me here for quick snacks. The place is ok as it is near to Dombivli station(E). It has two separate section AC and non AC. The non AC section is more crowded. Food is ok, service is good.

A local restaurant with affordable price for all! Located near to station and in much hyped area this place makes customers to take away the food within 10-15 min. I love eating pav bhaji and even taking the parcel from them. Being one of the oldest restaurant in the city, it lacks space especially on weekends.
Their managers and staff are proactive. They should replace AC's of AC rooms as they are too old.
Coming to taste and quality point - Maintained good. But when it comes to South Indian dishes like dosa, it's chutney lacks spiciness. Even dahi wada is completely dipped into lassi and not dahi.
Rest other menu is good.
I have never heard about this hotel despite located at the famous road of dombivli, but after my experience i can say this hotel is very underrated, recently my friend took here for dinner and we had veg. Jaipuri and believe me..... It was really awesome which had a combination of 2 sabzi i.e half section spicy & half sweet, which i really loved it..... Coz in other hotel like modern cafe or govindashram you only get the sweet one, after few days again i visited here and had paneer handi, the taste of the gravy was really yummy but the downpoint was that paneer cubes were mashed maybe while cooking but the taste was awesome.... Lastly i can say itz a good pocket friendly hotel..... Must visit.
I m visiting this place for decades now. It looks same and hasn't changed a bit. If u need a quite family time sit in Ac section . The Ac section has an average ambience. Non - Ac part is bit noisy and uncomfortable to sit. We tried soup it was served hot and excellently done. In starters I would reccomend Panner satay or veg crispy . Panner chilly , veg manchurian have nothing special in them. One could try garlic naans ,kulcha and rotis . Paneer handi is my treasured one. Mushroom masala looks a bit dry but is edible. They serve good vegetarian biryani for a change . For some special occasions they don't recreate that spirit. Overall they have average food, quick service and are pocket friendly . You will enjoy if your there for a quick bite.

Hotel Ambika Pure Vegetarian
Located on the famous Phadke Road, I checked-out this restaurant for some late afternoon meal, deciding to skip the usual office cafeteria-food. This is a 20-years old restaurant and I had never heard about this place before till I searched for a lunch-restaurant in this area, on Zomato.ย
I have been into big-time South Indian food-eating since last few days and I decided to have a vegetarian food thali as I had seen some people enjoying their thalis, on entering the restaurant. This place has an interesting seating and quite different as I have experienced out here in Dombivali East. The downstairs-seating is 'Non'AC' and the upstairs segment is "air-conditioned". And the catering staff ie waiters wear two different types of uniforms while serving. The 'AC people' are served by kind-of better dressed waiters and there are extra charges in terms of service-tax for those wishing to have food in air-conditioned compartment here. Well, by the time I learnt about his from a waiter, my meal was through and I was waiting for the food-bill !!
My Food Experience at Ambika 'Pure Veg'
A thali costs INR-90 bucks (inclusive of all taxes) and thats reasonably economical to the pocket. The huge thali was all that I could have wished for - patta-gobi, dal-urd, rasam, sukhi-bhaji, mango-srikhand, pickle, salad, curd and another dal which I never got to know from anyone out there (but it tasted great). With the Thali, they served two tandoori rotis also. Half-day down my meal, a waiter appeared and placed a quarter-plate of rice also. Initially, I thought the rice would cost me extra but on my inquiring, I was told that rice was inclusive of the thali. Infact, the Thali they served was over-loaded with food that there was 'no-space' for rice !! I loved the taste of the food here and the 90-bucks deal was much more than I had expected. To drink something, I ordered for a sweet lassi which was to my taste ie perfect.
The restaurant was full of customers and undoubtedly, this appears to be a famous and much liked place here. A man was getting huge quantity of food packed (probably, a party back home). They also have parcel service and there's a counter outside the restaurant on which it is written 'Parcel Counter'. The staff is efficient and my thali was delivered on the table within 2-3 minutes of placing an order.ย
They have South Indian food also in their menu and I would like to get-back here again for some more. Again, this was one of the best Thalis I have had in Dombivali East. Loved the taste of their food. I am still on the look-out of a good "all-Maharashtrian' food restaurant. There is one restaurant by the name 'Pandits' (near AIMS Hospital) but it still hasnt been enlisted on Zomato. Despite my several attempts to reach out to the Team Zomato here, I haven't received any response from them. Well - not my loss :)
Overall, this is a great place for Thalis and I am sure, for other cuisine-food as well.

This restaurant has been my folk's preferred place for family dinner. One of the best places in town for pure vege fare. All school parties were always celebrated here.
My personal favvy is paneer pasanda. Nobody makes it the way these people do. Very resonable place and the best part is the consistency they have maintained when it comes to quality of the food. Quick and efficient service, rest assured your order will never go wrong This place makes me feel at home, credit goes to the uber cool manager of the restaurant.
On weekends be prepared to wait for minimum 15-20 minutes. Take away service is brilliant.
It's like a second home to me. I hardly visit the hotel as it's nearby my home. But the food is great. Also the staff response is very good.
Hahahah...one of my most favorite and all time best hotel having prime location on Dombivli's Phadke Road. Very good ambience, always full, good food quality and quantity. When in waiting time, no customer has to wait more than 5 mins, max 10 mins. The reason i have rated it just 3.5 stars because recently i have seen laid back attitude of their staff, not much attentive and responsive. Still you can enjoy a quality food here.

This is the favourite outdoor eating place of my family. Whatever be the occasion for celebration, we more than often come here to feed ourselves to happiness. My personal favourite is their daal fry and daal tadka. Pavbhaji is very popular but I find North indian food much more palatable. Reasonably priced with a good service. A quite worth visiting.
