The best choice in McLeod Ganj!!! Nice veg food, amazing ambiance, jouygull staff... And the best quality / rate relation I have found in McLeod. Local monks are usually eating here and they do collaborate with local monastery.
Delicious food... Try the Momos in soup, fries, thukpa etc... Large portion and delicious. The prices are the best in town. Oh and the coffees are really good too. Did I mention the large portions? Be mindful when ordering. The service is on point as well. Cheers

In a jungle of poppy cafes & restaurants in the touristy town of McLeodganj, Shangrila is true to its name. It's an old school, no fuss eatery with some of the tastiest food providing a relatively authentic experience.
Shangri-La is a mythical place and this one isn't that far. This place is pure vegetarian, Tibetan cuisine, run by Tibetan Lamas. Taste wise food was bland but experience wise it was great. The cost isn't high and the quality of food is good on the price tag, overall worth exploring this one.

This place is run by monks serving simple Tibetan food. People are very helpful and warm . Cafe Mocha was outstanding as coffee is ground inhouse . A paradise for coffee lovers.
