After Hucka, this was the 2nd popular hookah lounge that was opened in Kanpur. We used to visit it atleast once a month as it was near our coaching, back when we were in 11th or 12th. I must say the place is a bit on the expensive side and the quatity is also very less. Ambience is next to perfect you can hangout with your friends on a fine evening. I will not say its a must go place but you should visit once if you live in Kanpur.
So this is the place where we usually go 😀 food served here tastes gud but the quantitywise it is less.. had chilli garlic, hakka noodles,spring rolls and veg manchurian.. everything was gud except hakka noodles.. and offcz hucka 😍😁 manchurian's was awsome!

I found it a descent place,hokkah was the best, food was fine,the quality and taste part was supreme.What they lacked,was the service and hygyine part.service was slow,and utensils were not properly cleaned.

A nice lounge like setting with loud music. Good place to hang out with friends especially those who like hukka. What I did not like was the low seating arrangement and the coolers that would blow right into our faces. From the menu, we tried the Paneer Shashlik Sizzler and Barbeque Chicken Sizzler. Although the Chicken dishes are put down as Steaks in their menu, you can always ask for it to be brought as a Sizzler instead. We also tried some indian starters which were quite good. On a whole good food, ambience can be improved specially the low seating.
I went to this place with friends and had a great time. We enjoyed the food, music and the ambience. It's so good to have a place like this in kanpur. Loved it.

Heavenly food bliss underneath dim lantern lights. Verandeh is a nice rooftop restro that serves good indian and continental , quite reasonably priced as compared to other resťros of similar lineage. Worth a visit.
Long pending.. Finally visited this place with office mates lately. We were 5 of us and by the first look of it we were quite amazed to see the interiors as unlike me most of them dint know exactly about this place.
This looked very appealing when we saw this place online but this was not close to in terms of aesthetic

Very decent place to hangout with friends .. compact and nice interiors although . For hooka lovers too ..I spcly loved the verandah spcl with a mint of brain freezer .. 3/5 for pan noodles .. 3/5 for service (a bit late) ..and also no free wifi is available as listed on zomato it was for office use.
I went to this place recently. Ambience was good;staff was courteous;food was good. A good hangout spot for youngsters. Loved this place. I would recommend this place for chilling out with friends.@
The photos here seem to give you a notion of this heavenly place with value for money food. Don't get me wrong, I must say the set up of the restaurant is pretty indeed. The starters were average. The cheese chicken nachos were not crisp enough. The honey chilli chicken, however was satisfactory. Pasta, as far as the red sauce category goes wasn't really up to the mark.
All in all, I was a bit disappointed with what I had, not sure about the Indian section though

Well been to this place so many times that i owe a review to it i guess ;) To begin with these guys know what they are serving to their customers. Be it Indian/Chinese/American/Italian(I have only tried these) seems as if they have mastered every cuisine. Summing up my experiences so far: For Entrees we had Honey Chilli Potato, Manchurian, Cheese Garlic Bread,Pan Fried Dimsums, Spring Roles, Penne Don Alfredo, Chilli Garlic Noodles and every bite was worth it. Talking about the dishes on their menu we had Kadhai Paneer, Anglo Indian Veg Jalfrezi, Butter naan and fruit raita and again everything was spot on. Must try mocktails Buzzer, Virgin Mojito and Oreo Biscuit Shake. And I love the Calzones they serve. One commendable thing about the food is that they know if its Indian it has to be spicy or Italian it has to be subtle and cheesy. Looking forward to try Non-veg cuisine here. The only place in Kanpur I prefer if I have to try something new. Try that Terrace seating its awesome for a pleasant evening. The only thing that bothers me is the hospitality, of late the waiters have been sluggish(This is very reason I stopped going to Hucka). Ambience is fine- terrace is my favourite spot.
Rating: 4-0.5(for sluggish service)= 3.5.

I happened to try it out in a wing treat and because of that, I tried a lot of different sorts of dishes and at least one from each cuisine which they serve.
And from that I can say that the menu is rich and in reality, contains a whole lot of cuisines. Be it Continental, Mediterranean, Italian, American and obviously, Indian, they provide a whole lot of options according to your taste.
The food quality is quite good and I found it appetizing enough. At the end, I could say that I tasted a variety of flavors and it satisfied me fully.

Again, the best way to check the servicing quality of a restaurant is to test its service for a really large group. We did that and I could very well say that it was really a comfortable and satisfying experience.
The food was served nicely and within the expected service time.
I cannot comment on the hospitality and courtesy of the staff as I don't remember it but at least, they cared enough to take feedback of our experience.

Situated at good place at least little bit peace from kanpur's busy roads and pollution. Interior is awesome though seating arrangement is not so comfortable. Service was excellent. Mocktails were superb. Specially the Buzzer one. But I didn't like food. I ordered veg pizza and it was just ok ok not so delicious. Except food everything was superb and if you are going with your loves ones den u gonna have great time. Awesome music superb Mocktails lovely interior and Sheesaaa it's just mind blowing. Overall superb place. @

Starter is awesome and quite a nice place to dine with your buddies. Ambience is more and less like other restaurant in the town. Hucka served here is not up to the mark, need refill in every 15 mins. Main course is average :)

On evening my friends proposed me the plan of catching up at verandah, not a huge fan of hukka I was skeptical about the place but when I went the ambience struck me with pleasant surprise, interior well done, Perfectly light and cherry on the cake good music, loved the selection of music there. So the place got a one up from me the instant I entered then I was not too sure what the food will be like at a hukka lounge but the menu has a wide variety and surely this place knows it's food very well. Nachchos are a recommendation. Then comes the hukka in the picture and I thought of giving it a try too, though an amateur in the experience of hukka , I still gave it a shot. It was soothing and tasted great. My over all experience was great and after that one day whenever I'm in Kanpur I make sure I visit verandah at least once.
A much needed place that the city required. verandah is a perfect mix of a young place with good food. Great ambience and a well curated menu. Tandoori momos are a must try. This place is a perfect fit for any occasion. And yes absolutely no complains when it comes to service be assured that you are going to be well attended. I had an awesome time catching up with my old friends and I'm sure this is going to be my spot. Great going team verandah you all are doing it perfectly well.

I have tried their tequila chicken wings, trust me when I say, it's MINDBLOWING..!!! Everything in their menu, from the chat to the biriyani, are all masterpieces in their own right.
A very calming Zen like environment to enjoy a nice hooka and a few stiff drinks, you should visit the place during weekends when you want to let your hair down with friends.
The owners are nice people, they keep updating and improving their menu.
Overall, a must visit when you are in Kanpur.

I absolutely love this place. I have a couple of really great memories with friends here and I have tried so many things I'll have to write a pretty long and detailed review.
Location: Disappointing. It's located on the 3rd floor of a building and there is no lift. It is difficult to get down in case you are drunk :p
Ambience: perhaps the most amazing among all fine dine restaurants in Kanpur. The lighting seemed pleasant. There is a balcony with a swing as well. Of course there is a large screen that usually displays live matches. Music was pretty cool.
Food: must try quisine: American
They offer a large variety ranging from Chinese to Indian italian American and Mediterranean. The American cuisine is probably the best here and the food was absolutely delicious. Fish fingers, chicken steak, chicken satay, crispy cheese balls, peri peri chicken are a must try.
Indian: murgh malai tikka and hyderabadi biryani are a must. If you are looking for something unique, you May want to try chicken rara, which is gravy chicken with gravy composed of minced chicken along with boneless pieces.
Italian: this is one of the few places in Kanpur that offer lasagna, but I would not rate this among the best I have ever tried. The basil tomato pasta is pretty cool though.
Chinese: spring rolls were so so, chicken 65 was delicious, avoid the lollipop! The drums of heaven are billed as a Verandah special but I am pretty sure I have tried better ones. Chilli fish is pretty underrated and fish lovers can have a go at it considering the quality of fish is amazing.
Mediterranean: tried the chicken shawarma, feel that this is way too overpriced and not the worth, shawarma for me needs to be prepared in front of my eyes, with the chef displaying his rather unique set of skills while shredding the chicken stacked on the grill. Hummus was pretty good though, and is something one should try.
Drinks: among the non alcoholic drinks, buzzer, fruit punch, kit Kat shake or Oreo shake very greatly done, and would be some of the safer options
We asked the beer to be split into glasses. The beer served was watered down and lacked fizz. Just order a can with glasses and ice next time and pour it as per your convenience.
Final take away: must try: American, hummus, mocktails, Indian starters
Reconsider before ordering: drums of heaven, lollipop
Pros: relatively underpriced, ambience, variety in menu, great place to visit if you are a part of a small group

I find the place great if you're willing to spend quality time with your best friend or your loved ones. The food is pretty good but expensive. The ambiance, music and the chilling drinks and sheesha make up for it. :)
It is among the few places to serve Sheesha in Kanpur. A good place to go with a great ambiance. The food quality is great. I had mostly Chinese Items and almost all of them were great. I would have given 5.0 to this place had the prices been on a bit lower side.

Verandah is back with a bang! Surely not disappointing the customers verandah has successfully maintained the taste of its food items. The sitting area has been reduced and alcohol is not being served presently. It goes without saying a must visit if good food is your first priority and the feeling of shelling out money wont bother you as it usually does these days in many of the places.We ordered pepper cheese corn rolls and cheese garlic bread and both gratified our taste buds.

The place is at good location only thing that is not good is that the dont have parking place. Visters have to park there vehicals on road or in the showroom side.
When it comes to service they are little bit slow.
But taste of items in there list is superb. Prices are reasonable for 5 to 6 people it would cost you 1200-1500 and you will be happy in terms of taste.
This is chic place and offers different types of cousins now. Earlier it was a hukka bar where you can chill with your friends and order drinks and have fun but as the hukkas are banned in kanpur then its converted to simple dining area. There is projector for watching love cricket. Music is awesome here you can feel every beat. The staff is very polite and hospitable.

So I have been visiting this place regularly since it has been opened and am aware of how good it is.
I love their preparations a lot specially, Sesame Potato, Dal Makhni, Malai Kofta etc. this is a multi cuisine restaurant and till now I have not been disappointed by their preparation at all.
Best thing I like about this place is the value for money. Relative to many other comparable places, the prices here are much more reasonable. I ordered 1 Dal Makhni, 1 Malai kofta, 1 Butter Naan & 1 Onion kulcha(24-05-16) I got all this home delivered for Rs. 532 which I think is the fair price considering today's prices as so many places charge around 300/- per dish these days.
This is a roof top place and has a shack kind of a look so for its ambiance also it gets an average of 3.5/5, Ambiance is more suitable for youngsters and not for family dinners.
Hukkah and drinks are available and are considered good by my friends who are regular consumers of these and have a fair idea of them.
Over-all this place is much better than its contemporaries and gets a big thumbs-up from my side!
