one of the best and old sweet shops in birhana road kanpur for authentic sweets..their mewa ladoo and particularly sohan halwa only in winters are so delicious and mouth watering..my relatives in kolkata also like there sweets so much that then ever i visit kolkata i have to take sweets for them from budhsen..5 stars for them..

Oldest shop in Birhana Road and quality of food , sweets are well known to old generations as well as new .
I am visiting Budhsen since 2004 when restraunt culture was at peak because there was no Zomato and no weight , no McDonalds and No Dominos and our family and relatives prefer to go restaurants for dinner or on special family occasions .
Decades passed but quality is not much compromised , however prices aren't much comfortable when it's about food prices but still Budhsen is Budhsen.
This place needs to be reviewed by new generation after visiting and tasting varieties of food items available here.
I give 4.5 stars as Budhsen deserves
It is the Best Sweet House...be it Gulab Jamun or Chena...be it Gewhar or Honey dew...It has freshness as well as quality 👍♥️The place is beautiful and so is the food
The oldest sweet shop in the town located in the heart of the city thats is birahna road and they are serving excellent sweet from decades which taste and design are really tempting nd no one can say no they also provide customised pakaging of sweets and gift items also apart from sweets they serve paneer dhokla which every should try on and also that small samosa best in town👌👌
You can't find any shop with better sweets than this anywhere. sweets have such good & authentic taste & huge variety. Its one of the oldest and best shop in kanpur.
It's a very nice place to eat sweets of every kind.. ranging from chandrakala to malai paan to chandramukhi to badam pista jalebi.. Their rasgulla rasmalai is a must try.. chandrakala and malai paan melt in mouth.. Every sweet is extremely fresh and they never compromise on the quality..

We were looking for the best rasmalai in Kanpur. And with inputs from localities we homed on to Budhsen. The sweet was outstanding. It takes them a little bit of time to give Ur order but the sweets are awesome.
They have the best overall sweet range in town . The best of them is Ras malai , ghewar , rasgulla. They deal in namkeens as well . Try their milk Badam too
Famous for its desi ghee sweets this place has a variety of sweets and my list of favourites from here includes ghewar, jalebi, malai gilori & sohan halwa.
The Ghewar...which is a rajasthani delicacy is my fav Budhsen mithai. It has two varients 1 malai wala 2 sugar syrup wala.
It is available only on the occassion of Makar Sankranti in the month of January. I wait all th yr round for this sweet surprise. The best part is that one can see it being cooked live. The malai ghewar is soft whereas the sugar syrup varient tastes similar to jalebi.

Do visit for wedding gifts or return gifts, they take orders as well. Personally I love their Boondi ke laddu, it melts in mouth, so smooth and creamy
