This outlet is basically a franchise of the original Sagar Ratna in Delhi. However the food and it's Quality is not as good as it's parent outlet in Delhi. The Food was good (OK), but apparently failed to woo my taste buds. The onion Dosa had a lot of raw onion in it instead of sauted onion which made it lose its craving. However the place is in a good area, service is good, hygiene and cleanliness well maintained. It is a little elevated from the ground and you have to use the stairs for accessibility, which might pose a problem for old people. Other this place is good to try on. This is one of the finest place for family as well as South Indian cuisine. This place serves you with Indian, Chinese and a little bit North Indian too. We have tasted so many things in menu launch. Idli chaat was superb. Gadbade sundae was the surprise 😍. My personal favourite from now onwards. Filter coffee was just amazing. Ambience is so amazing. Sitting is nice with diffrent section. They have nice menu along with great price. Everything was just mouth watering so whenever you are planning to visit. Go for idli chat and gudbade sundae. Dosa are the speciality of agar Ratna.

Sagar Ratna is the most trusted and best Indian restaurant to have vegan food. The quality of the taste offered is some next level. Be it at any place in India, the quality is always that rich and nice. The staff is nice and kind. It always seems to be a busy restaurant.On my recent visit, I ordered Paneer Manchurian Dry and Vegetable Biryani. Both the dishes not only looked appealing but tasted heavenly. The quantity was more than enough for two people. Absolutely loved the time spent here.

The staff is professional and polite. A great start with idli chaat and paneer tikka both equally mouth savouring. And then comes the specialties "vegetable cheese dosa" and "mysore masala dosa". They serve Chinese dishes with similar perfection, we were served dry manchurian balls and chowmein and most refreshing green apple mojito. It was great experience!!!

Not just South Indian but they also serve variety of North Indian food and Chinese food. Ambience is great and food was also good. The best dieshes you can have there is DAHI VADA, CRISPY CORN, CHEESE DOSA , FILTERED COFFEE, IDLI SAMBHAR, DAHI CHAT, GUDBAD SUNDAE, GAZAR KA HALWA and offcourse Dosa.
South Indian love can met only at Sagar Ratna .... Their idli chaat is a must try.
Maincourse is also v good.... I have tried almost all fishes too good to order. VEG biryani is also delicious but v v less in qyantity... Still i love south indian food and Sagar ratana is answer to all ur cravings.

Imma big dosa lover and this is the best place for serving quality dosas . The taste is amazing actually best in kanpur . The prices are a lil bit expensive but everything seems okay with it as maintaing quality and taste needs a lil more money. Try chefs special dosa , mysore dosa , masala dosa or any other dosa, loved their coffee also.
Best Place south Indian dish lovers. Dosa was so tasty. Sambar and coconut chutney was also good that will you not even leave a single drop of it. I really loved it.
So i ordered masala IDLI fries first which were tasty but bit oily if you are on a diet. Dosa were delicious both rawa paneer dosa and sagar special paneer dosa. Also don't forget to have the famous filter coffee, it tastes totally same like in South.

Sagar ratna a famous chain in india. If you want to have south indian than no place else. Delicious food, polite staff and value for money guaranteed. Rasam is very delicious and awsome dahivada. I am used to of sagar ratna in many cities where it is available.
Fantastic Place and a very genuine restaurant and the manger told me that they were awarded for serving the best dosa in the city.

Oh this place...South Indian Heaven!Breakfast Scenes Pretty Perfect with Lamba wala dosa, Filter Kaapi and Piping hot Idli's dipped in Sambhar.💛Always a huge fan of south-indian and this place tops my list when my tastebuds are craving for something chatpata or masaledaaaar..Paper plain dosa is my favourite from their menu though i like other fusion dosa's much but it's typically south-indian served with some authentic chutney's like green wali chutney with my fav coconut chutney and lehsuni chutney that's bit spicy acompanied by traditional ''Sambhar'' which shouldn't be skipped. It's main highlight is the huge size dosa that needs a bug space to be served hehe!.I love their dahi barra too which is a bit sweet in taste served with boondi's on top. Totally irresistable, it's a must try if you ever visit sagar ratna..Idli's served with piping hot sambhar i didn't liked it much as it was totally bland in taste. You should skip this idli chaat is other great option instead..Filter kappi served traditionally that lifted my mood as i'm always a caffiene addict person so this satiesfied all my cravingsssss!! .Though it has another branch in the city but I love this branch more just because of the lightning fast service and superb staff. Definitely gonna visit again as it has already became my family's favvv restro.

It's manager told me that their sambhar got the best sambhar award by radio Mirchi.I tried tea, vegetable utapam, masala dosa and mendu vada. All the dishes were good!!!! The ambience is also good the music was decent and have some south Indian touch in every song.
Well I have never been a big fan of vegan food but one day I decided to go to this place because I have heard a lot about its delicious food and ambience.. For me it was a great experience and I would suggest that u all must visit this place which is full of complete hygiene, delicious food and great servicing.
Here I have tried masala dosa whose size was big enough for two people, that time the navratra season was going on and we ordered navratra thali was full of kuttu Ki puri, samak pulao, shahi paneer, kheer raita, aloo tamatar Ki sabzi.

And at the end, I ordered the desert that was 'Rawa kesari', which was absolutely awesome and I loved the taste. It was very flavourful and yummy.
I have been here twice and I would say that its best restaurant for south indian food...their food is awesome...we ordered mini idli sambhar, 3x tomato onion uttpam, panner masala dosa, mysore masala dosa, and lemon rice and every thing was good in taste...I liked their red chutney very much, it was tangy in taste...prices are also very reasonable...our bill coated around 1400 for 6 people and their service is also very good...staff is polite and friendly...must visit once👍
This place stands oldest in the lineage of dosa serving restaurants. My last visit was after trying Rawa Masala Dosa Combo. This time I tried 3 dosa,
1. Rawa Onion Dosa,
2. Rawa Masala Dosa and
3. Makhani Paneer Dosa..
❤️ all were finger licking. They will give you a potato tomato stuffing along with the panner dosa, try to stuff it in paneer dosa and then eat.. 😉 That makes it even better!!!!

My first experience in sagar ratna. This place is too good. We were a group of 7 people so all of us ordered different kinds of idlis and dosas. All were too good. Specially the small dosa platter.
Sagar Ratna is a retail south Indian food chain I have been to Delhi outlet it has a great taste Kanpur outlet in some dishes it's over hyped n over priced !! Overall it's good for family dine in budget ..

Ive been to Sagar ratna several times in other cities before they opened up their first outlet in Kanpur and the response that their first outlet got has been quite overwhelming and as a result it even though I do like to try South Indian once a while, I could not end up going to Sagar ratna mainly because on weekend the place always seemed packed

The Idlis were soft whereas the Badhas were crisp.. The Sambhar too was delicious with good variety of vegetables in it.. Ordered the Masala Dosa and that too was nicely stuffed with potatoes.. they served these items with their usual chutneys which too we're quite good to taste

Nice place to eat South India cuisine. They have maintained a good quality standard in terms of flavours and portions. Also worth mentioning is just the variety of dosa and uttappam menu options.
They were also very accommodating of my dietary restrictions and made the dishes accordingly.

I went for Dinner at Sagar Ratna. We had Veg Biryani, Dosas and Veg Thali. The food was quite good. As Sagar Ratna is famous for it's South Indian Cuisine we Loved the Dosa. Out of all the things we ordered The Rava Masala Dosa was my Favourite. Veg Biryani was Decent. The service was okay. Staff was polite. You should definitely try it out if you're going for South Indian Food.

One of the best restaurants available is here. Excellent test, excellent service, and atmosphere. This restaurant is located on the J. K. Temple to Fajal Ganj Road. Hummore ice cream is also available on the lover floor, which is fantastic in test. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures during dinner, but I do have hummore ice cream videos and pictures. I love the huge trees we have here.
Sagar Ratna is famous all over the India for it's South Indian Food. It has wide expansion of its branches all over India and one of its famous branch is in Kanpur.
Inner Vibe :- Restaurant has good dining facility and amazing decor. Here both friends and family come to enjoy food and spend quality time. They provide good care of hygiene and sanitation. Their way of greeting is nice and in entrance idol of Lord Ganesh is really beautiful.
Food :- Food is okay not worth the price. Their dishes of South Indian cuisines is good but North Indian dishes are not upto the mark need lots of improvement in that. The serving and dining is quite impressive as they give food in disposable plates. I ordered North Indian Deluxe thali in which their are Shahi Paneer, Mix Veg, Dal, Rice, Raita, Gulab Jamun, Papad, Salad, 1 Paratha and 1 Roti. The quantity was good but taste was just okay.
Overall Rating :- 4/5 as Food was just okay but dining, decor and sanitization was good.
It's a no nonsense restaurant which serves authentic South Indian food in a clean and decent environment. The prices are ok too and the service is also not bad. The food is the best part about the place. However, the ambience is just about ok, nothing very flowery. On busy days uou might find it tough to get parking coz the restaurant has barely two or three cars parking in front of it.
The seating, location and staff service was on point.
What we all loved was their different chutneys that gave off authentic south Indian taste.

Even the vanilla icecream served was abs avoidable

I went there with my husband and kid. They have several options in the menu to choose from and we have been there before too. This time I was not very happy with the service provided, we had to find someone to place the order, there was i suppose just one guy who was running in and out for everything and for everyone. It was very noisy, the food was served on time but we had to ask for cutlery ourselves. Also for those who do not want to eat South Indian they will be disappointed, the chef special garlic chilli paratha was pathetic, idli chat is amazing, main course is overhyped and taste is just average.
