This small eatery by the seaside may not be all fancy, but it has cosy and laid back atmosphere. We ordered the Surmai thali and it was delicious!
I recently visited Ashwin Stall near Kashid Beach, and it truly stands out in the absence of big restaurants in the area. Despite the common menu among homestays, Ashwin Stall exudes a unique charm. The pan-fried fish, soft bhakris, and delicious curry in the surmai and prawns thalis left a lasting impression. They also offer enticing vegetarian options.
What sets this place apart is the opportunity to dine right by the sea. Our dinner was a symphony of waves hitting the shore, the burst of flavors from the food, and the chilly winds – creating a core memory for us. Ashwin Stall isn't just a meal; it's an experience that captures the essence of Kashid Beach.
I wish I could give it 10 stars. Don't judge the book by its cover. It looks like a normal food stall but it's an amazing stop for foodie. Such an awesome taste, awesome food. And if you had coconut then must ask the owner guy of the stall to cut it, he'll do the best of it for you (Photo posted here) And most importantly, in other places like Mumbai where we get just (any) fried/tawa fish for ₹350, here you get a whole fish thali in ₹350-₹370. So it's a very very pocket friendly food stall.
I have been going to Rikame Family for 10 years now, people are really helpful and their food is just awesome. I have tried other stalls too but the treatment and food I get from them it's just awesome. Really recommended for everyone to visit.
A beach side stall that serves much variety of eating options. Mostly tried dishes are breakfast items like paw dishes, poha, fried dishes, soft drinks, tea, and others.
The place has good sitting options and is open almost upto 9-9.30pm which is good for visitors. You can also buy beach toys for kids.

This book should definitely not be judged by its cover. What a delightful surprise this place was for us. We tried their Pomfret fry and we would highly recommend this as a must try. Their hospitality was so warm and sweet.

Amazing Food and humble service. People how want to test the authentic local test then much visit this place. Food is good and it beside beach, so you can enjoy the beautiful view.
The food here is amazing. Don't go by the looks of the stall. Prices are similar to what you'd get at other places in Kashid. Loved the pomfret and surmai thaali here. Another good thing about this place is that it's right on the beach and you can enjoy your food while looking at the sea and listening to the sound of the waves.
If you're a sea food lover you can try this place nice sea view and fresh food items.
I wanted to give it an overall 3 but then the guys are friendly, the place has an A-class view all around, and nice food 🙂. Nothing to add, just don't change the food quality and the hospitality 🙌🏼

i will never forget the taste of here its the best taste of this area, the seafood was awesome and the gravy thing was superb, i would suggest you to order thali over here. its their special meal. and the swings was too good, you can swing as much as you wish depending on the rush over here.
Its a amazing food stall. We have found all items with great test and qualities. Owner is very polite and humble. This is must visit place while you are in Kashid.
