We got beef chutty choru, fish chatti choru, and paal kappa to eat. The paal kappa was delicious and should not be missed. The chatti choru was good, and there were plenty of accompaniments. If you aren't a huge eater, the amount you'll receive here will be plenty to share between two people. Due to the small size of the establishment, there may be a wait to be seated at busy times.

Saturday night dinner with family we went there. No space for bike parking and limited car parking space as well. Restaurant entrance blocked by car parking. Love the massive ship art on one side of the wall. Seats were comfy. Light was flickering above out table and was annoying. No other table was available as well that time. They don't have Menu currently (26.3.2022). Due to flyover construction and covid, technopark is not fully functioning, affected their business it seems. Nagaland people were working there to get the order. They r somehow better with English and good in Hindi. We found it very difficult to understand what's available but the person was so helpful with a good attitude. We came to this restaurant to have kili poratta and to our surprise it's not available at that time of 9pm. We ordered nool poratta, butter chicken gravy and chicken tikka kebab. Everything was awesome. Butter chicken was the best and authentic. One of best for sure i ever had. Price was little bit high for the quantity. But for the taste it's fine to pay. Over all a wonderful experience though we didn't get what we came for. Bill was ₹680 for the 3 dishes which seems so high. We felt hungry even after finishing the dinner.

Had the seafood chatti choru. Really good food. There's not much space to dine, but it looks like a lot of to go's are ordered here, as almost every minute somebody was there to pick up food. Chatti choru was really large, that I could not finish. The karimeen here was definitely better than many places I had food from before. Felt the beef was rather average. Would give 5 star for the sea food chatti choru and would have selected 5 rating, if not for the beef.

Finally got the opportunity to try food here after a long wait. Got a good ambience and the place is very near to Technopar. Parking in front of the restaurant is a challenge, but they have took a place near by to sort out the parking space issue. I have tried the Kizhiparota and it was indulging and filling. Appam and chicken stew was great as well. Tried their chicken lasooni it was beautiful. Tandoori item took 30 mins, the person taking the order informed us prior about the delay, which was really good. Lemon tea and Sulaimani is a thing here, so tried those as well it was great. With a huge crowd turning up the restaurant is able to manage the service and expectations without hampering the quality and quantity, kudos to the entire team at the restaurant.

I've been to this place once and I've had vegetarian meals. The food tasted great. Most of the staff are Northern Indians, but I'm sure these items are prepared by Malayalis only. I loved trying every curry. Staff were friendly and courteous.

Amazing Food..😮😮😍😍.Beef Kizhi porotta is a must try. Furthermore, Appam and chicken stew takes the whole experience to next level. Schezwan noodles and fried rice have done complete justice to authentic Chinese cusine. The staffs are smart and welcoming. Thank you Paaykappal team for the amazing food. Overall, A must try. Great service from the staff . Good ambiance., beautiful wall paper.Very tasty food . Still they are open to hear from customers and ready to improve their dishes. I had veg meals , appam , egg stew , fish curry and beef roast. All these dishes were so delicious and above average quality. I never eat such a softly cooked beef from any other restaurants. It's a must try item. No card payment , only cash and Google pay. If you find this review helpful , pls like.

We used to come here for breakfast. This is one of the few restaurants in Trivandrum which used to serve Kerala style breakfast.Staff behavior was also good

Paaykappal, Behind Nippon Toyota, On the service Road leading to Technopark Phase 3 NH Byepass Road Back when UberEats initially launched in Trivandrum, Paaykappal was one of the few outlets which I used to order from at least once a week. Had also visited their old outlet a few times and came away happy always. Somewhere down the line, they disappeared from Ubereats and from their original location in Kowdiar near Giggles.. I was disappointed as they used to make good quality dishes at affordable rates. To my surprise and with the update from Jowin, I was pleasantly surprised to hear they had opened up near Technopark Phase 3 My visit of the place and the dishes I tasted reaffirmed my belief that they still maintain the same levels of quality and unbelievably courteous service just like before.. Walked into the outlet on a Sunday afternoon. First impressions, the outlet is expansive with  a nice traditional décor and ambience to go along. Wooden tables with wooden chairs and high lights complete the look. Glanced through the wide menu with quite a huge list of dishes including Biriyanis, North Indian, Chinese and some Paaykappal specialties. Initially thought of ordering a Kerala meals. However upon seeing the Biriyani page, fell for it instantly. Biriyanis themselves are offered in many flavours including the usual suspects like veg, egg, chicken and mutton. Some standout options are Attirachi and Chicken Tikka. My heart immediately went for the Chicken Tikka Biriyani. And also added in a Watermelon juice as it was really hot outside! The place was quite filled as it was afternoon and the patrons were there for lunch. Chicken Tikka Biriyani – 200Rs/- Chicken Tikka Biriyani came quickly. A hot, steaming Biriyani with fragrant spices and Boneless Chicken Tikka pieces. Served along with Raita, Lemon pickle and Pappadam. The rice was cooked well and the color reminds one of a deep, dark Tamilian style biriyani. However the rice here was more seasoned with crushed minions of bay leaves added in for good measure. Chicken was well cooked and juicy. One bite of the chicken along with a handful of rice will definitely tangle your taste buds and also ensure you eagerly look forward to the next bite. Only negative aspect I felt was the proportion of rice vs the chicken pieces was quite less. Would have definitely liked a little more rice in the Biriyani for the price being paid. That being said, the flavour and taste was absolutely bang on and no faults here. Watermelon juice – 50Rs/- The juice was cooling and went well along with the heavy Biriyani. Quite a refreshing drink on a sunny January afternoon. The weather gods have truly played truant this year :( One thing I would like to appreciate truly is the exceptional service being provided by the staff to the customers. They are there to serve your dishes as soon as they arrive and also help you in any manner needed. Truly outstanding and certainly deserves a round of applause. So if you are in or around Technopark and looking to have some delicious dishes for lunch or dinner at a ambient place with attentive staff and service, make a beeline to Paaykappal without delay. Note : The place has limited parking currently. Also they haven’t started accepting card payments yet. So ensure you carry sufficient cash or use the Google pay option. They also seem to have Thattuakda style tea setup in the evening as shown in the photos but not sure if this has started yet.

We had the Crispy Beef noodles, Kizhi Porotta and the Kothu Porotta. The strongest dishes of the three were the crispy beef noodles, the beef was fried and the noodles were crisped to perfection with the masala and vegetables complementing the tastes well. The Kizhi Porotta was steamed well with the chicken gravy and Porotta together , leading to a really well settled in taste. The Kothu Porotta was frankly quite dissapointing as the tastes seemed very muted.
