Milano is more than an ordinary ice cream parlor in Kochi. For Kochites its a matter of pride. Milano is expanded to other cities in India and is doing very well. We Kochites are proud to say that it all started in a small outlet in Ravipuram.
Milano introduced gelato to Malayalees. And they have been really successful. For me, Milano adds value in many ways. 1. A perfect getaway in the heart of the city. 2. Gelato products at its best. 3. The different flavors they produced such as mango, jackfruit, passion fruit and many more. 4. Value for money. 5. Good service. 6. Waffles.

My favourite Ice cream place in Kochi. The quality is unmatched, and worth every penny you spend. These people just wanna put some smiles across your face. This place holds a lot of special memories too. The milk shakes are way too good. Try it.
I visited this place on a busy Saturday night, this place is highly recommend and is rated one of the best in Kochi, but for me what stood out was the service part! Mr.Sharon, this guy was like Superman! He was making waffles, cleaning tables, greetings guests and even had the patience of answering my query abt each ice cream, doing all this with a beautiful smile! People like Sharon is why a establishment like this grow well and give excellent customer satisfaction!! Keep up the great work mate!!
A nice n quiet little parlour on the main road, staffed by very courteous n friendly boys n girls.
They have comfortable seating space, a very inviting array of ice creams, gelatos, cakes, cheesecakes and such offered at reasonable cost.
They offer generous helpings such as the huge mango, raspberry, strawberry gelato cone I had n repeated as it was truly close to frozen yoghurt, my fav dessert n a very healthy one too!
The pricing is so competetive compared to a metro n what I love is the fact that taxes are inclusive, which is rare up north.

We went on a Wednesday evening, being a weekday I thought it would be empty but the place packed.You can taste your favourite ice-cream before ordering. We ordered truffle and Vanilla both were yum. A must visit to calm your sweet cravings.
Some of my favorite flavors have been Hazelnut, coconut, vanilla, extra dark chocolate, Belgian chocolate and Nutella. For those who lean towards less decadent, more piquant flavors, the mango and strawberry yogurt gelatos are a great bet.
Vegans! You have not been completely overlooked! Try the Vegan dark chocolate; it’s extra dark and extra tasty, even to a non-vegan palate.
One can also find exotic experimental flavors at Milano, now and again. Spirulina, whisky cream, Heineken and Affogato are some repeated flavors on the board. If you’re lucky you might even be able to sample flavors like Pomegranate Cheesecake and Avocado.

This is another place where you can go late night for your sweet cravings after dinner. Brownie with ice cream was good. I didn't like the chocolate sauce on my waffle. It was too bitter that it ruined the waffle. Ice creams were good especially truffle.

We hit Milano as a family on a weekday, late in the evening to have sort of an icecream dinner - thanks to the humidity and scorching heat Kochi has bestowed upon us.
The place is quite small, but there are plenty of seating options (not very congested either). The interiors are well done and simple. The staff are warm and welcoming.
Lot of varieties of gelatos and they are sure to make your mouth water. In addition to ice cream’s they have ice cream cakes, waffles, crepes, fruit salad’s and so forth on a limited menu that’s presented to you.
Here’s what we ordered:
1. Extremely Dark Gelato - Medium scoop (100 INR): As the name suggests, thick creamy and extremely chocalatey. Its not bitter dark- but just chocolatey.
2. Banana Split (INR 150): Banana split with three scoops of icecream (two chocolate and a vanilla).
3. Fruit Salad (INR 150): This must be the biggest serving of fruit salad I have ever seen. Lots of fruits, and vanilla + berry ice cream topped with strawberry and blueberry sauce. This was quite the treat!
4. Waffles with Nutella and Banana: This was a welcome change from hogging all that ice cream. Hot hot, freshly made waffles. And Nutella never goes wrong.
Another plus factor of Milano is their pricing. It is very affordable and their serving quantity is extremely generous. Great for sharing when you hit the place as a group.
Would I visit the place again? YES, most definitely.

This is gelato heaven!!! We went there last Sunday and had their mango gelato! Mind-blowing! The flavour was so fresh, refreshing! Wanted to get more but the place was really crowded, plenty of people looking for seating, didn't wanna be the bad guys taking all the place. With a heavy heart, we decided to have more another day!

You have one of those days when you want to pamper yourself with something sweet and cold. I met this beautiful place on one of those days. They blew me away with the flavours. Looking at them made me try more, and I absolutely have no regrets. They are gelatos which is healthier way of treating yourself for the best. Never compromised on taste nor did on the ambience. I love this place so much. Seeing two flavours of my chosen ice cream being blent in the cone gives me glorious shivers. A good place to hangout with friends, for dessert. Positive vibes too. And the aroma, oh wow, it's all so mind-blowing, I miss it already.

Tried out Milano after a long time,last Saturday. The flavours we tried were Strawberry Yoghurt, Grape and the Smitten which is a chocolate based flavour. Each of these were true to the names, with the Smitten being the clear winner. It was gooey,chocolatey yumminess at its best and was a huge hit amongst the three of us and if we were not full from a heavy dinner before, we'd have definitely ordered another one of the same. It was seriously that good. Our orders were waffle cones of the same and the way they serve these cones is a sight in itself, shaped like a flower. Well, folks,this is the best gelato place in the area, not to be missed at any cost. Will be back to try out more of their exciting flavours.
Gelato is the guilty pleasure that people need to get into. And the go-to place for that would be Milano in Kochi city. They serve the absolute best in that terms. The gelatin is just so delicious with different flavors and not that over priced as well. It just gives the happy vibes all together. They also serve you waffles which are made just when the order is given which makes them crisp and just about the way I like them. The place is small but have made total use of the space they are given with. The food is hygenic and tastes amazing. Never dissapointed. 😁 TOTALLY WORTH IT.
Milano is definitely the best Gelato in town. We are so loyal that we visit here on most Saturdays. Try their mango, extra black, orange cheese cake, etc.
They don't really sell ice creams. What they sell is gelato. It tastes fresher than usual ice creams. There were plenty of choices as well. The interior is cool. Parking could be a problem during the kochi rush hours.

I have been to this place twice and I dont remember leaving without a refreshing time. You can always come to milano after a tedious day of work or even get together with a few friends. The place may look small but is packed with suprises. The interior seems simple and clean which actually works provides a serene ambience.
I tried the red velvet nutella duo. It had a subtle taste with a little nuttiness from the nutella blended well with the creaminess of the red velvet.
Wish i could try out the waffles but always leave the best for the next visit

First visit to the @milano_icecream_kochi and I'm already in love 😍. You get delicious icecreams at very reasonable rates!
1.After tasting almost all the flavours ,I finally settled on OREO and NUTELLA(inevitable to be honest😂) . I have to say that the oreo is one of the best ive had. Both the flavour and the texture are first class. The nutella too was great.

When i told some of my friends about visting milano , first thing they told me was ice cream cakes! I had the chocolate and nutella ice cream cake and it didnt disappoint. A bit like chocobar 😂 but an upgraded version!

Ice cream is bae. Scorching hot sun at noon my friend had a great idea to get ice-cream and the Frist place that pop up and wanted to try MILANO.
From the reviews it was a place to visit. Simple place with good people but the ice cream just stopped me. The presentation and texture was just wow.
From a triple combo of Truffle, Nuttella and Straciottella. First taste and just bliss. Loved the taste and perfect ice cream. Every bite was heavenly. My friend had the spirals equally tasty. We couldn't stop there as a next step we took the chocolate special and mango. Again just mouth watering. Savouring every bite this was the longest I took to finish a cup.
Price is comparatively affordable wih other ice-cream and next time will be back for more but the ice cream just made my day

Who said you'd have to go to Rome to gorge on authentic Gelatos when you have places like Milano.
It's situated right on the side of MG Road and has a conspicuous signboard. The insides are clean and classy. They have a range of Gelatos - we chose Mango, Cappuccino, Nutella and Vanilla in different combinations. They also had custard apple and 'Hienekin'. The Gelatos were rich and creamy and had a distinct delicious taste each, although Mango was not particularly as I had expected... it tasted a fad on the artificial side.
We also tried their fabled Belgium Waffle and can vouch for it being one of the best in Kochi. They made fresh waffles in front of us and loaded them with strawberry, banana, choco-sauce, whipped cream, nuts and blueberry sauce. The cocoction was superb. I would recommend anyone craving for a waffly-breakfast to park themselves at Milano without a second thought.
Well, if you know the difference between gelato and ice cream you'd love this place. If you don't know it, you'll learn it here and start loving this place even more.

Omg!! The best ice creams one could ever get. We got in to have a scoop of ice cream, but it did not stop with a scoop. Ended up having lunch at Milano. 😋The flavours are mind blowing. Each ice cream is unique and love the creativity of flavours they have come up with.
We started off with tasting the flavours to find the best but in the end I was soo confused as to what to choose. I Started by buying a chocolate cake along with a scoop of dolce latte and truffles. Omg!! The cake was amazing, soft and yummmm, followed by the ice creams, wowww. My sister tried the waffles along with a scoop of Milano and Nutella. The waffles were amazing.. Soft and mind blowing when it's warm. Must try!!
I couldn't stop myself with what I just had , I went ahead and tried the cone ice cream. (the cones are made by them). Tried the cone ice cream with the flavour of whiskey cream and Milano. Yum yum yum... Each flavor was unique and soo tasty and creamy. I wanted to try the avacado ice cream and it was amazing. Tasted fresh, creamy, the flavor was on point. I was impressed. Finally we ended with a slice of cake along with a scoop of crunch ice cream. Amazing.
Overall, the best ice cream place I've been too. Would definitely visit again if given a chance. It was another world, all together. I personally loved all the flavours and would try the remaining flavors that I did not. 😜

Been a fan of Milano for years. Love their flavors. Also the rates are not high. It's a small place though, sometimes it's very crowded. Other than that it's good.

One of my most visited places in the city and probably one of the few places where the gelato is authentic. They’re quite rich and creamy, and offer a variety of flavours. They also serve affogato, milkshakes, crepes, ice cream sandwiches and cakes.
The gelato was scooped into a flower shape which I thought was cool and unique. The lady was very patient and let us take our time to choose our desired flavors.

This place was on my wishlist for a long time . Finally went there a few days back. We tried their Frappes out of which ,one was whiskey cream flavour and the other one was Nutella flavoured.I didn't taste the whiskey cream one but their Nutella based gelato frappe was just heaven .When it comes to rose petal shaped ice cream cone , we ordered the pair of hazelnut and tiramisu , and the pair of extra dark chocolate and Hazelnut.Both the pairs tasted equally good as well.But the thing I liked the most about this place is the aroma of the gelato.Just pure bliss. Low fat, delicious and pocket friendly! The variety for icecream flavours is the best thing about it! The gelato is not too sweet and perfect for summer. Also try their icecream cakes..treat yourself!
best ice cream shops in Ernakulam...rose petals ice cream it's a mix of 2 flavours and that is really nice...have tried blueberry and strawberries and dairy milk and truffle...passion fruit and Oreo...lots to try...it seems to be expensive but it's available at an affordable price... really loving it..❤

This place has some pretty good selection of gelato and sorbets. You get to choose 2 flavours in their small size cup, and 3 flavours in their large size cup.
From their usuals, my favourites include Nutella, quella, chocolate, and extra dark. They have really exiting seasonal flavours too. Coconut is yumm. So is custard apple. I may be mentioning way too many flavours here. But everytime I go, I get to try out new flavours and leaving aside a few like orange, everything is delicious.

I love this place just amazeing ice cream. But I used to go here. When it started for a cone it was just 60 for cone and now it 100. What in the world is that piece hike almost the double it used to cost. It outrageous. But still the stuff is still great.

Freshly prepared waffles topped with whipped cream, strawberry sauce and ice cream is something which we can start eating and never stop . The waffles are really good and a choice of sauce preferably chocolate or strawberry is good as it prevents the waffle from tasting dry . We added one scoop of ice cream and at the end we felt that it was not enough and felt that another scoop was needed . Any other topping is a just bonus

Milano is a haven for food and ice cream lovers because it offers a variety of interesting flavours . They offer gelato which is healthier than ice cream and the prices are also reasonable .
The gelato here especially mama bhuvana flavor is very chocolaty and rich. The staff needs to be trained better as they gave two description of quallo flavor or better yet have a proper menu explaining the flavors .What was strange that there were no flavors on display !

IT TASTED BLOODY AWESOME! Really thick and strong flavors. As a huge fan of white chocolate, having it for the first time in a non-solid form was heaven!
The quantity was pretty good, as can be seen from the pictures.
As for the price, the sugar cone costs, Rs. 10 and 100 for the ice-cream. Total Rs. 110 for a cone with ice-cream.
I also had a Dairy Milk chocolate milkshake (Rs. 120), but by the time I had it, I couldn't get any flavor. My tongue had savored an overpowering amount of sweetness in paradise.

Small place which is bang opposite a big Cream Stone outlet. But Milano dominates like no other.
Was pleasantly surprised to see a non generic Gelato outlet in Kochi. The taste hits the right sweet notes and leaves you craving for more. My order was a combination of coffee and white chocolate which complemented each other perfectly.
They also serve waffles and cakes etc which I didn't try. I'd definitely recommend everyone to visit Milano if you are out on the road for desserts. :-)

I always wanted to try this place, only because of Belgium waffles...but not that impressive....It has got too much flavor of egg in it...And they charge 20/- for maple syrup and its literally not visible on the waffles... Need to try ice-cream also...Price is reasonable...
In love with milano ice cream, have tried almost all their ice creams and my favourite is the dark chocolate one. They also have ice-cream cakes, waffles and shakes that you can try. Staff is very friendly and ambience is excellent. Try it once and you'll end up going back. Also if you ask for ice-cream in a cone they make it look like a pretty rose.
After a greasy lunch we wanted something to soothe us and the name that cam into mind was Milano @ ravipuram.
I'd already decided that I was gonna try their rum flavored icecream and while browsing I learnt that they whiskey cream too and for me, the dilemma was over. But the girls tasted almost every flavor their and decided to have the dark chocolate and truffle flavors with whiskey cream.

If you're craving for ice cream, this is your definite destination. I've been to a few other places around Kochi that serves gelato, but Milano will always be the place I'd choose. The ice cream cakes aren't as good as it seems, but trust me, when in Milano, go for the smooth creamy gelato!

I visited this place with my friends without any intention of having any gelatos (ice creams) here but after having just one look at their gelatos I made up mind of just going for it and boy was I happy in not missing out on having their yummy ice creams. Most of their gelatins are eggless which is a great news for us vegetarians. I just fell in love with this place and gonna make sure that I keep visiting here for their awesome gelatos. The best part is they are reasonably priced and their menu keeps changing which is an awesome news because we get to taste many of their delicious gelatos (ice creams).
Happened to be in the area, so visited milano after a long time. Since they expanded from just making gelato and ice cream cakes to serving waffles too I was keen on having one. For the price you pay its definitely worth it with the waffle alone being 80 and additional toppings apart from the ice cream being 20. I had a waffle with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. The waffle was nice and crispy, it wasn't too thick, rather, I found it to be quite light. The whipped cream was ok, they happened to put a little too much but can't complain about that. They serve the best gelato in South India. They have outlets in Bangalore as well as Cochin. The owners are an Italian couple who are very friendly. The staff is courteous, considerate and very helpful. The avocado, extra dark chocolate, mint and Colaba flavours need special mention and are a must try. Milano is my to-go gelato place. The gelato is fresh because their raw materials are fresh. They make fresh gelato at the outlet itself with fresh produce such as high quality fruits, nuts and chocolates. They have a variety of flavours, especially in fruits. Mango needs a special mention. They also serve stick icecream candy bars, chocolate bars icecreams, icecream cakes, crepes, sundaes, frappes, shakes, waffles and more. This place is a must try if you're in Cochin or Bangalore.

Dairy milk flavor is pretty nice, not too sweet so get that. I had the snickers flavoured one which was very sweet and monotonous ...........
It's an amazing place to hangout with friends and family. They sometime have whisky and rum flavored ice cream which awesome and they also have other tasty flavours too
The best icecream I ever had.. a wonderful small place.. with great variety ..and the best taste.. Nutella based icecream is big hit.. mango icecream was short of sweetness still it tasted good.. feel it's correctly priced for the variety they serve.
They provide the best fresh Italian gelato that one can find in Kochi. Great ambience and an absolutely helpful and friendly staff. Their newly introduced Belgian waffles and creeps are a must try.

Wow. This place just blows your mind away with the concoction of flavours they've come up with. The way the ice cream scoops are served, which is quite artistically in a rose shape made me grin from ear to ear. We ordered 1. Fresh Belgian waffles topped with Nutella chocolate ice cream. It was too beautiful a sight to behold with the caramel coloured waffles sprinkled with powdered sugar and the huge blob of the much chocolaty Nutella ice cream. Crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the waffles were top notch with the ice cream topping spreading extra joy.
2. Tiramisu in a rolled sugar cone tasted good and looked absolutely stunning.
3. Truffle and crunch combo in a rolled sugar cone, it was so hard to distuinguish between the flavours and you couldn't hold on to either of the flavours. Truffle had a coffee flavoured taste while crunch was, as the name goes crunchy! 😅
4. Cadbury in a normal cone. Hahahhaaa the most awaited one out of the lot, disappointed me with a plain chocolate taste. The taste of that absolute delicious Cadbury chocolate was missing somehow.
The place is cute and ₹420 for 4 was definitely reasonable! And I'll keep going back to try out their other exciting flavours.

Milano ! They literally created milan in cochin. I personally know the owners Mr Jangarlo and Mrs Sara, italians relocated to Cochin. They are very much adament about the quality and authenticity of the gelato icecreams they serve. Its quite different from what we have tasted from other outlets. All flavours may not be sweet as expected, but thats how it has to be as it is authentic.
Go for their gelato fruit flavours made out of seasonal fruits and i am sure it wont disappoint you both in terms of taste and price !
The ice creams were delicious, and the presentation was also excellent. You have the option to try two flavors in one item. However, the ambiance is not that great; the building needs some renovation. Nevertheless, overall, everything is perfect – a delightful treat for your taste buds despite the minor setback in the atmosphere.
The ice cream was superb, and I liked it so much. I tried many flavors, all so satisfying. I mix 2 types of ice creams and both where good😋, and the ambiance was pleasant. Overall, it was a good experience.

This is the best ice cream place in Ernakulam. It's a must try. Try the seasonal fruit flavours. The grape and passion fruit flavour will blow your mind. I also love the chocolate flavour, both dark and milk.
The waffles were nice and crispy. Gelato is very good quality. The nutella one had chunks of Nutella in it but I was a bit disappointed that i didn't get any hazelnuts(it was there in the display section). Black forest was okay. Ferrero Rocher was rich and tasty. Toppings are a bit expensive(chocolate sauce is 50rs)

Different varieties of ice creams are available. But some of them don't taste so good. Baked waffles and dessert crepes are also available. Good service. I give five stars for the hot water dispenser. It is helpful for tonsil problem customers like me.
One of the best Gelato place in Ernakulam.. Open till 12.30 am.. The way they present gelatos are really beautiful. The gelatos are freshly made.. They have increased the price.. But still its worthy.

Love everything about the gelatos and the service. You need to park on the roadside and may have to wait for tables during peak hours. However, you will get your desserts even without having somewhere to sit.
Absolutely loved it. They way they sever and the friendly staff and ambience it gives in is soothing. Pricing is affordable with the quality the quality of product they serve in. It was quite free from crowned while I made the visit. I believe late evening, its bit filled in.
Great quality ice cream available.. different flavours to try out. Ice cream lollipops,cakes etc are available which are worth giving a try..The nutella flavour is my personal favourite and would definitely recommend to everyone.Price even though slightly on the higher side,its worth it. Located in the heart of Ernakulam, this ice cream joint is a must visit. The fragrance of the freshly made brownies is something to die for. Their chocolate brownie with ice cream is something that you can definitely try.
Parking is a bit of a problem here. Don’t park on the road as there are lot of cops around taking pictures for challan.

A must visit ice cream parlour in Kochi. The best thing which I liked about the place is that world class tasty ice cream flavours are available at affordable prices. Even though they don't offer samples, they have economical scoops and tasty ice cream cakes. Really enjoyed the ice creams and service too
We had visited the store when they were a small place. They styled the ice cream into a rose shape, it was interesting. We usually visit them while travelling at night. Now they are more spacious with seating and more options . We tried the custom waffles .
It was great. We also had the ice cream sandwich . It was awesome too. It was also fun to watch the waffles being made according to our preferences and we had the option of adding whipped cream and ice cream which is available only in a few waffle locations.
It would be great if they could also have chocolate waffles.
