I visited Teapot café during the afternoon for tea. Firstly, I loved the soothing ambience of this underrated cafe. Quaint wall art, lots of teapots and the simple spacious space set the right mood for having tea.
I ordered masala chai along with a blueberry cheesecake. The chai had great flavor and the blueberry cheesecake too had the right density and was light on the sweetness. An unexpectedly great combo!
While making the payment, I had an embarassing moment where I realised I didn't have my wallet in my bag. I asked the owner if he accepted Google pay, which he didn't. He was nice enough to tell me that I can come back the next day and pay him. Ofcourse I got my wallet and paid him the same day but he was very trusting and sweet. One hardly sees that anymore.

A wonderful and calm place, where you can while away hours in front of a pot of tea (well, more than one if it's really hours!). A great place to read, write — or, as I've so often done, enjoy idleness in the company of good loose leaf tea.

Teapots hanging from ceilings, sitting on cabinets on niches, literally everywhere. That's what you see in the Teapot Cafe except for the grass exterior wall. The decor is one of a kind. We went there in afternoon and it was almost empty but soon the place was full of bot tourists and locals. We had Paneer sandwiches, Veg sandwich, Roasted chicken, Banana shake and Jasmine tea. Everything was so well prepared and beautifully served. Quantity of servings were great too. The owner even had a little chat with us. It was very welcoming.

Beautiful and quiet place in Fort kochi. Love the food, especially the breakfast. We had planters platter and grilled paneer sandwich with cold coffee. The eggs were nicely done and baked beans were yum. Paneer sandwich was good too. Wish they served cold coffee cold and not at room temperature.

Very sweet and charming little breakfast / tea nook. Had delicious medium-done eggs and beans and coffee that was so good, we ordered two more rounds. Full of teapots (predictably) this cafe has the air of an old world European space - with people reading their newspapers and books over tea and cakes, quietly soaking in this gem in Fort Kochi.

Where do I begin?

This place is so. Charming and raw and. Artistic that from the moment you walk in one can't help but fall in love with the ambiance and vibe of the cafe.

Its tucked away near princess st in Fort kochi.

The best part about this place is the homely vibe.. Its warm and cute.. Love the bric a brac and the decor, the attention to detail.

Now, I am a coffee addict, i LOVED their cold coffee. It was just the way I liked it and so much so I ordered another one, since the first one was so good.

Had their breakfast, which was delicious and was huge in quantity... Everything as you would see in the photos was perfect even their toast slices.

Going there for breakfast and coffee today too, its simply such a delightful places to be.

A MUST GOif your in Fort kochi. You'll fall in love with it too.

Possibly India's first and only teapot themed cafe. Started around 15 years back, teapot is one among the favourite restaurants of the foreigners who comes to fortkochi everyyear. They serve both continental and a few kerala dishes here. I go to teapot for cheese cakes. I love the strawberry/blueberry cheese cakes of teapot. They also serve good varities of tea. Last time I had an iced tea but it was not up to the mark for me. Dont forget to visit their upstairs ! 😊

Those reviews about the blueberry cheesecake? They're true. Easily some of the best cheesecake I've had in life.

They have a large collection of teas. We also had the raspberry tea, masala chai, and chicken cheese omelette. The omelette was okay. The bread served with it tasted commercial and not homemade.

The ambience is quaint and feels like another world, inside an ivy-covered building with dozens of teapots adding charm and whimsy to the interiors.

Definitely worth a visit for the tea and cheesecake!

I had a quality pot of oolong tea from the lovely owner of Teapot- a very comfortable and clean spot (with a clean and fresh toilet too!) to pass time in Fort Kochi. While I didn’t have any food, there was a patron having an omelet and toast that looked well-prepared and tasty. Most of all, I felt that the owner was warm and knowledgable, and gave me good advice about some services.

A distinct facade covered in green mural of leaves, gives it a rustic welcoming feel as one enters into this airy room with high ceiling and a big round glass top table poised on sprawling branches of a tree trunk, allows you to share space and easily break ice with fellow travellers/visitors. Earthen feel is accentuated with artsy paraphernalia (mainly tea pots of course) on dull-mustard walls, shelves and tables, yet slightly ostentatious. Peaceful abode for bookworms and tea guzzlers alike. You can chose a corner table and slouch into an arm chair in the adjoining room and marvel at the tea pots collection while perusing the ample options on menu. Figure that no two pots were same on the huge shelf under the attic ladder, while enjoying a finely blended banana shake, indulging in blueberry cheese cake. Eerie quiet in the sunlit attic is perfect hideout to disconnect, probably over a good Earl Grey Green Tea and a samosa. Do savour the sketches/frames hung on the walls. While settling the hand scribbled bill, one could see the back room which leads on to a small courtyard and the bustle of kitchen.Gunjan Caur

Here's another gem at Fort Kochi ❤️ Tucked away in a lane off Princess Street, this one is a quaint, quiet, quirky tea obssessed cafe. You get your dose of coffees and shakes too, but it's a crime saying no to a cup of tea in one of those super cute cup-saucer sets. Like every other place in Kochi, the service is warm and humble, and you end up with the feeling of sitting in your own warm kitchen room❤️😇 Psst - the ambiance earns it brownie points, right from the plant covered outer wall to the rooms with rustic paint and display of quirky teapots and posters❤️❤️

This one has been on my list since 2012, so glad I got the chance to strike it off this year 😇

We visited the place for breakfast. It was tricky to find the small signboard kept just near to the entrance. Inside, it was a small and cozy place. At first we were confused as to who would take the order but later, a staff came and got a table ready for us. Once seated, I checked Zomato for the meal suggestions. We all ordered the breakfast platter, which was quite filling. We did try their masala chai and cardamom tea which was quite good. It’s surprising to know that you have have a peaceful breakfast away from the bustling city.

Really nice place to hang out and chill.

Located close to Kashi Cafe this place is easy to find. A quiet and humble ambience welcomes you as you get in. The seating is comfortable and tables are quite longer than what you usually see. Overall it’s nice.

They have a long menu with different varieties of teas. I went for a masala chai while my wife went for a cardamom tea with milk. The owner of place was very generous to help us out with options. The flavour teas are all without milk, but since we liked our tea with milk he was kind enough to suggest cardamom tea.

I loved the masala tea. Really strong on taste and felt good after it. My wife liked here cardamom tea - good flavour of cardamom. When I went to pay the bill he said Rs90 which confused me. When I told him we have ordered 1 masala tea and 1 flavour he said, I don’t think I should charge Rs 90 for your flavour tea (as in menu) since it was more of a regular tea with cardamom flavour. He charged only Rs 30 for it.

This was a very kind gesture from his side. I would definitely visit a second time when I would try some of their interesting cakes as well as sandwiches.

A beautiful place in fort kochi. Went in there for a quick bite this afternoon. Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and a cheese sandwich, both of which were fair. Nothing great. Ordered a lime soda too which was good. Service very prompt. However what I would like to highlight is one little thing that happened today. I had apparently left my scarf at tgis place during my visit. I called the place once I got home, the owner confirmed that the scarf was at his place and that I can come down and take it. Which I did the same evening. If this is not hospitality in the true sense, then what is. Would visit again for more.

I'd give this 3.75/4.

We went here for a weekend breakfast. If you like tea, this is a great place to visit. The ambience is centered around tea, its history and diversity. You'll find a lot of old and framed posters from legendary brands, tea related serveware and plenty of tea kettles and pots to check out. It has a great vibe to it. This is also located inside a quiet lane so it is quite peaceful with less noise.

We had their cheese omelette (good!) and the planters plate. All items were nice. Their masala chai was great and this is one of the few places that serves good filter coffee as well. Service was warm and courteous. The prices are quite reasonable.

Overall, we had a good experience :)

This is real hidden gem. A delight for anyone who is interested in tea. Tucked away on the sleepy Peter Celi Street near the St. Francis Church, the facade is interesting with creepers enveloping the entire outer wall. You enter and wonder if you got it wrong and is it a museum. There are elements of tea in every nook and corner. Tea Pots of various sizes and from across the globe form the core of the decor. Old cans of tea leaves, posters, cups and saucers are also to be seen. The place is bright and cheerful and also has a small seating area on the mezzanine.

True to its name, there are numerous options of Tea available. We tried the white silver tips one and it was delightful. Just the way its supposed to taste as we had learnt in a previous tea-tasting session elsewhere. Food is limited with cakes, sandwiches and some other stuff being on offer. We tried the chocolate cake which was fresh, moist, not too sweet and very sinful. Perfect for discussions, reading books or simply sitting and contemplating about your existence on this planet, this place is an absolute must visit when you are in Fort Kochi. Don't miss it.

Well, as the name suggests it's a place where you should go if not for food then at least to take a look at the collection of teapots and tea things that  they have.

It is an unassuming place tucked away in the quiet Peter Celli Street in Fort Kochi. If you are on a bike or in a car then the chances of you missing it is quite high. Walk down the street and you come across this interesting house covered in climbing plants and you can spot the small sign which says Teapot Cafe.

You enter and you are transported into a different space. It is a very simple place with all the decor is done using teapots and tea things. Nothing flashy about the place but yes, it is very earthy, cosy, warm and spacious. There are 2 levels of seating and seating options range from, just for 2 people to a large party.

We ordered the Masala Chai, Coffee and a plate of Masala Omelette breakfast which came with canned baked beans, a fruit bowl, bread, butter and jam. The omelette was very plain (just basic onion). I am also not a big fan of the canned beans as they taste full off preservatives and give a stale feeling after consumption.

The coffee was good. For the tea, I would say it is a very personal choice. What kind of tea you prefer and will enjoy is totally dependent on an individual taste. For me the masala chai was way too milky with less masala and even the second time around it was not much of an improvement. Personally, I would probably order some other kind of tea next time if I want to spend some time looking at their collection. The chai was served in a cup which does not do justice to the concept of the masala chai which is at most places served either in glasses or kulhad's (earthenware mugs or replica's of the same).

I will put the pricing in the medium category (not great for the budget travellers) and would recommend at least one visit. There are many options in Fort Kochi which you can make your regular haunt. But do go at least once. Also look out for the interesting wall just opposite the cafe for some interesting photo-ops.

This simple cafe with a unique retro-feel is tucked away in a quiet corner of a silent by-lane, in the labyrinth of streets that abound the historical Fort Kochi streetscape.
Basking in cheerful yellow hues, the interiors host a museum of various teapots, filters and other implements.
This is the perfect place to relax and read with a freshly brewed pot of tea and a cake. Very good unobtrusive service. Recommended

Nice little tea house in by lanes of Fort Kochi.
Lot of tea options with some mouth watering light good option . We had evening tea at this place and my daughter opted for pancake . Ginger tea we ordered was awesome and according my daughter pancake also passed the grade. If you are in fort kochi area and want to have a relaxed time with some good tea - go for this.Service is personal but not intrusive . Prices are just fine . Not too expensive

If you have a thing for Kettles and Teapots and all the paraphernalia related to Tea, you must visit the Teapot Cafe. A quaint cafe that is filled with teapots and kettles, modern and vintage, in all colors, shapes, and sizes, as well as Pinterest poster Tea-isms.

A quiet morning where I had a scrumptious breakfast of buttered toast, preserve, freshly made pineapple juice along with a very large cheese omelette. This is the breakfast of travelers and champions and I'm so glad I made a stop here.

Pricing is very pocket friendly, services is quick and the staff are very sweet. What more can you ask for while on holiday?

Sweet little place on the streets of fort kochi. I guess tea would have been super but I had coffee which was fairly decent. Pancakes and cakes could be tried with coffee as for the price they weren't as bad.

Entrance with cropped plants spread on to the door and windows is the first thing you notice about this place. Its a traditional old Kerala house with tiles, which has been changed to cafe, the best thing are different kinds & colors of teapots arranged nicely. We tried their cold coffee. It was really good & tasty.  we would visit again.

One of the old charms in fortkochin, it was our usual hangout spot during schooldays :)
The speciality of this cafe is the wide range of beautiful yet unique tea souvenirs the owner has collected ! And the vintage beauty of the interiors, brightly painted walls, handwritten menus on the chalkboard , 😍, the ambience is great, and while with friends we used to stick on to our basic grilled chicken sandwiches and shakes which were yummy 😋, they've a variety of tea's to choose from, don't try the Lassis..! Ain't that great. Cakes are yummy ! Especially death by chocolate 🙆🏿 that has some sinful goodness in it :)

Set in one of the quaint  old charm streets of Fort Kochi. Teapot has a chillax and warm atmosphere. Do look around at the collection of teapots around you and enjoy the home baked goodies they have to offer as you sip on to some hot tea. We ordered for the special chai teapot and some cake.

The cafe is very quaint, and is bound to be noticed because of its quirky name and even quirkier decor. This cafe has teapots of all sorts , and of all varieties hanging at various places .. on one side of the wall, it even has a poster that reads, "keep calm and drink tea" .
The food here is not very recommended , but whereas the tea! Simply delightful. I ordered for a pot of masala tea, and it was just so well made!

Do give this place a try, if not a tea enthusiast atleast go for the ambience and the interiors !

A must-have on your checklist if you're visiting Fort Kochi. I'd recommend you come here in the evening. If you're into tea, and even if you're not, you should definitely give their special blend a shot, and ofcourse their blueberry cheesecake is simply happiness on a plate. More than the food here, you'd want to be here for the vibe. The town itself has it's own amazing cultural signature, with a mix of the vintage European , earthy Indian, breezy coastal and fun hippie cultures. Teapot cafe's ambience only goes on to add to the entire experience.

Hid in an Ivy cover along the cosy lane of Peter Celli street in Fort Kochi ,Teapot is a must visit in the old town in Fort Kochi : if not for the food for the ambience it gives. An ideal place for a warm cuppa and ghupshup .Set in a old house filled with teapots ,the whole setting has a rustic feel . I visited Teapot this summer and it was a cool treat in the scorching heat outside. Teapot as the name suggests,is teamed around teapots ,with even the tables made from old wooden tea containers. We had a regular coffee , a tea and a cooling lemon juice, all served in generous quantities :) The menu is mainly  of many flavored teas, coffee, juices and  sandwiches. Its an ideal place for breakfast and quick bites .The highlight of the place though, should be the warmth & courtesy of the owner :)

We went there only to try the Blueberry Cheesecake and that was amazing. Just the right kind of sweet and melt in the mouth. Price is 220/- but worth the money. Ambience is good with ancient teapots kept on display and outside walls are fully covered in greens. Service was quick.

I tried coffee here but heard a lot about the place. The atmosphere is quite calm. You will meet locals and you can interact with non- locals as well. The owner is very friendly and has a charming personality. They know Hindi and English very well, so there will be no issue in communication. You can get good beverage and breakfast options here, snacks are there too. It is a must visit for the vibe and coffee.

We picked the tea for two and it was very smooth and fresh. The chocolate pancakes with ice cream were amazing as well. The grilled cheese toast was okay and I would stay away from the chicken one.

I found the Teapot Cafe on my first day in Fort Kochi and came back every day of my five day stay. I loved the place, being there honestly felt like I'd been in meditation. I had breakfast one day but the menu is limited, so I mostly just enjoyed pots of tea and slices of cake. I would recommend this beautiful vintage tea shop to anyone who wants to enjoy some tranquility in the middle of Fort Kochi.

Such a cute caffe . Nice ambiance. Enough space . Clean and neet . Decorated with lot of kettle. It's a fine place to have breakfast but one think i notice that the baken beans are full of Ketchup. If you don't like it better to avoid. I don't like it a lot if Ketchup for my breakfast. Everything else is cool . The staff is nice and food delivery is in time . Enjoy

1.My go to cheese cake, best in the whole of Kochi. Cheese rich with tangy blue berry and soft crumb. 2.Double cup tea-pot special - subtle is the word, no milk or sugar required, best fit for Englishman. 3. Grilled cheese sandwich and grilled peanut butter sandwich, brown bread delivers a sour flavour. 4. Ginger lime - sharp ginger flavour is super refreshing, best suited for hot summer day. Ambience and decor will take you back to late 90's.

Cute little tea shop with nice tea and coffee. My partner had the grilled chicken sandwich and I had the grilled cheese sandwich. The fillings were nice and fresh but the bread was slightly too sweet for my liking. Otherwise lovely.

The Coziest in FortKochi. Serene Ambience surrounded by teapots and paintings. Beautiful architecture inside out. Service was just homely. His smile is too precious. We ordered special Tea for 2 and Blueberry Cheesecake. Both delicious. We can just sit down and relax and even work or read here. Not much disturbance. Ambient place to accommodate people. Economical compared to many spots in kochi.
