One of our fav place, budget friendly, well maintained started first at Kakkanad . Customer since then. Love the seafood over here. People looking for daily meals can surely visit here☺️

My fav dish is their double grilled fish. We have to select a fish from their cold stored table, they will slice the fish to 2 and grilled with two different masalas. I tried one with chilly and other piece with pepper. Both are authentic and yummy. Their lunch is authentic Kozhikode style and very tasty.
A bit costly place as it serves the best seafood in town, fish are the highlight of this restaurant. There interior decorations also have seafood memories..seafood lovers must to visit place in kochi☺️

Had the Fish Biriyani from here, tastes okay, good compatriots in form of pickle. Will visit once more in the future to taste the meals they are known for.

4.5/5. I found this place through Zomato. This place showed up in the list of seafood restaurants and was the nearest. This is an Arabian seafood speciality place. We had Assorted Seafood Fry, Fish Tikka and the Fish Kabsa. It was quite a Fish Feast although they do have separate Fish Feast lunch offers as well. They also offer 'Catch of the Day' i.e. you get to pick your choice of a whole fish, their speciality is Karimeen Pollichathu. I didn't go for it. You could try.

Clean, nice look and feel. We were seated on the ground floor.

Excellent 👌. Our server was Ajith. He was very cordial and we are grateful for his valuable suggestions for the dining experience.

Details as follows. It was a different experience of flavors for me, a successful fusion of Kerala and Arabic seafood. Presentation was impeccable as you see in the pictures.
Assorted Fried Fish - This is the best of them all. Nice blend of Prawns, Squid, Seer Fish, Vatta.. You name it.
Fish Tikka - This is speciality of the place. You can choose plate of 6 pieces or 8 or 14 pieces. 6 was adequate for us. There are choices for marinade like the regular, Haryali, Punjabi, Badami which gives off various colours. Our server offered us a mix and we gladly took it. The fish of the day was Vatta (Trevally) which is not very special in our cuisine . However it was quite a treat here. Perfectly grilled to cut soft. Loved the texture as well. The dip that came along perfectly compliments the fish.
Fish Kabsa - This one is an Arabian Biryani. We chose seer fish. It comes with dates pickle, gooseberry pickle, Raita and Pappadam. While the fish was good the rice is okayish. No complaints because the rice in the Kabsa are always tad blend. However the dish here was still good because they provided all these sides.
Price:
True value for money. When you gorge on Fish courses in most of the restaurants there is always possibility of a dish tasting average due to lack of freshness. Nothing like that here. This was real deal. And all of this cost us 1000 after a complimentary dish through Zomato Gold. So I encourage food lovers in the city to go for it.

Excellent preparation of fish curry with mango in coconut , cheemmeen chammanthy and Nellikka achar still mouth watering , loved that sweet pickle too .. 8/10 .

Love their sea food delicacies. Love the curry which have all the sea food mixed up and also their butter naan is amazing. They have a mixed pulao which is also very amazing.The ambience also gives a fresh feel to eat.

It is a place where you get good BBQ, Tawa,Meen-Pollichathu fishes at kochi .
Among these the only thing which felt highlight for me is BBQ fish,Which was soo tasty.
The ambience was very nice,Especially for the boat interiors was displayed which was good.
The staff was very helpful!
Now about the food, The BBQ was soo good such as, The fish was cooked to the right tenderness without deepfrying & Bringing oil to the minimum so that you can eat as much as your appetite satisfies..!
We even ordered sides such as the butter Naan and chapathi everything were good..!
Overall based on my food wandering this is the best place for seafood & All the seafood lovers out there should try from RnF. The superb staffs especially make your experience Better compare to other restaurants..!

Located in Kakkanad, one of the main things that I love and appreciate about RnF is that they have their own private parking ground, which is very convenient. The ambience is very nice. It’s designed like a boat and there are tables on two floors. The staff are very helpful! The staff at my table suggested the best dishes to us and even prevented us from ordering too much.
The Mixed Fish Fry was good. Everything was fried properly and it tasted really yum.
Fish Tikka Masala was delicious! It was the perfect side to go along with the bread items that we ordered.
The Tandoori Roti and Butter Naan were good, nothing else to say.
The chocolate shake and fruit salad were normal, but we didn’t really go there for the dessert.
Overall, you must eat from RnF if you’re a seafood lover. The superb staff especially make your experience ten times better.
Ordered their special barbeque fish biriyani with Neymeen ,mixed special barbeque fish biriyani. Biriyani with Neymeen tasted great but the mixed one was not up to the mark. Decent ambience and courteous staff.On a negative note, it took more than 45 mins for the food to get served.Planning on going back to try their other special dishes.
This is my second visit to RNF. We tried the RNF bbq fish biriyani and the RNF prawns tawa, both were really great. The prawns tawa fry was exceptionally good. The ambience is also pretty neat. Will visit again.
Ordered their special bbq biriyani (aykora), special mixed bbq biriyani and prawns tawa fry. The aykora bbq biriyani tasted great. But the mixed biriyani did not match up to our expectation. The prawns tawa fry was delicious. It’s a must try place.
Tasty food and friendly staffs. I had ordered for a prawn biriyani and fish fry which was both amazing and served hot. But the quantity of food was little less.
Have ordered the pothichoru and fish thaali with tawa fry fish from here and they were both yum. The fish curry and fish fry that came with the thaali was just too delicious!
Recently visited the place itself, was impressed by the parking space first up and the interiors well done. We ordered the RnF fish biriyani and a plate of mix fish fry.
The biriyani came in a clay pot packed with rice full of flavour mixed with generous pieces of bbq fish.
Overall I liked the food experience, gave me exactly as promised - well cooked rice and fish packed with flavour.

Rice N Fish, the name tells you what you have to order from here. So it should have rice and also fish, Biriyani.. YES.
Located at Padamughal on the right side when you go to kakkanad, a small place with ample car parking. There is a boat shaped elevated first floor which was closed probably because I went at noon for lunch. The place kindof smells of fish, not like raw fish but cooked fish.
We ordered RnF BBQ fish biriyani which is their special fish biriyani and also an assorted fish fry dish which I forgot the name of. The biriyani came in a clay pot with a sealed lid which they open at out table. It contains rice suffient enough for one person and mixed with BBQ fish. The fish kindof tasted like chicken but it was really good. The assorted fish fry came as small chunks of different fishes deep fried. It also included squid, Prawns and some other fishes.
Overall a very good experice and something out of the ordinary. It's not a must try place, but if you prefer a change, this one's for you.
Awesome food from RNF Team. Availed the gold membership without any issues. Had a fish biriyani and mixed fires rice. Both were exceptionally good. The only low light I felt is the server didn’t say their will be extra chargers for Dum biriyani. But it could be my ignorance too. Anyways will be back for fish bbq which I heard is really good.
We had prawns noodles, fish slice biriyani and fish bbq biriyani. The rice was a bit dry for biriyani but the fish was totally amazing. The flavours for bbq fish were equally marinated and the meat was cooked perfectly. Overall we had a good experience. Thumbs up 👍🏻

Barbeque Fish is a favorite of all. Have you had a biriyani with bbq fish inside ? Rice N Fish has such a special biriyani on their menu and it's popular dish. Usual fish grill with arabic masala is good so is their mandi rice. Their fish pollichathu is my second most favourite in town.

Mouth ticking dishes with a pinch of adventure within them. Rice & Fish and its ever caring stewards make sure that you have the best fine dining experience at their place.
Price and Wait is worth as you are welcomed with one of the best sea food cuisines in Kochi. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Recommendable without a doubt.

A great place for all the fish lovers out there. The bbq Fish was extremely impressive in taste where the fish was soft and tender. Had the exact flavours and it was yum. The Rice & Fish kebab biriyani was good but not that great. I felt the gravy could be much more rich in taste but the fish kebabs in it were awesome. I really liked the service and another thing I liked about is we can select the fish which we like for the barbecue. Ambience wise, really neat and innovative!❤️

Its a cozy place to dine with your loved ones and alone too. They have the seafood varieties. I loved their taste and will surely recommend to my friends and family. The restaurant ambience is awesome. It’s decorated like a ship inside. Its very neat and clean here. There is all you can eat with a seafood. Their barbecue is delicious and we can select the type of fish from their fish deck.
The customer relationship is a remarkable thing. They have trained waiters here.
If you are looking for a perfect sea food which is not very expensive and which doesn't compromise on quality Rice N Fish is a perfect restaurant. They can prepare all kinds of dishes with fish, it's not very crowded, so don't misunderstand it's not good. All the items are prepared only after the order is made, hence patience is must but you won't be disappointed after the wait. The price however is good compared to other sea food restaurants.
Very good fishy restaurant in kochi.. This restaurant is specialists in fish making.. Nice meals too there I had.. All items are seams live made from the ice basket.. Tasty and spicy food served well. Rush is there in noon time but normally is a calm place to have a rest an food..

One of the best place in and around Ernakulam to have some decent quality sea and backwater food options. The restaurant's interior is themed with a boat and it integrates with the restaurant very well. The Kerala style dishes find great combination with Kerala rice. We tried chutty curry, which is a different kind of preparation from the traditional Kochi/Kottayam style and it is a little bit on the sweeter side. But it was a nice and variety combination with the Kerala rice and the people who are die-hard fans of fish curry with kudampuli style please excuse and go for other fish curry with kudampuli on the menu. I'm a great fan of fish kudampuli style but personally I liked this version as well. The prawns roast was served in decent quantity and was one of the fresh prawns I've had in any restaurant in Ernakulam, especially Kakkanad-Padamugal side. The same taste and quality was found in koonthal (squid) roast too. The rice was well cooked and overall the combination of fish chutty curry, koonthal roast and prawns roast went very well with the rice. There is ample dedicated car parking space for the restaurant customers. They accept both cash and card payments. The price is on a higher side and it can be a dealbreaker for some people.
Honestly at first wasn’t impressed by goin through their menu. But... the quality of service plus the food. Mind blowing !!! Served with bowl of oats and salad at first. OATS!! Yes..That’s somethin different. Besides we also selected Avoli for their Masterpiece RnF barbecue. 10 - 15min of wait and Voila!!. Also try RnF special Fish Mix awesome stuff.
Fish Barbecue is the highlight of this restaurant. You can select the fresh (not alive) fish from their available options, and get it done. Good one off experience. Sufficient parking space available.

One of the nice destination for fish lovers. You will get finest fish barbecues from the menu which is very easy to choose. Barbecues are not so dry unlike other restaurants usually do. You can enjoy with little rice aside make you filling lunch.

went to hav fish curry meals bt cudnt get it bcoz it was alredy past 2.. so had mixed fish biriyani n fish tikka biriyani.. first time i'm having fish biriyani & it was toooo gud.. i absolutely luvd it .. perfect fish.. spicy just d way i lik non veg fud.p rice is a bit on d expensiv side though.. i'm not giving a 5star bcoz tey tuk too long 4 service- v almost left b4 tey came with d menu

Good for fish lovers. The preparation is customised and hence we can choose the fish available there and ask them to prepare accordingly. Fish Barbecue was one fine preparation. But the normal fish fry preparation wasn't up to expectations. They have a variety of rice options as well, which if needed they would serve for taste. Good ambience, good parking space. Will visit again! :) Can have chicken/mutton options as well.
