After a long time I can now say that I had South East Asian Food. The ambience, kitchen staff and dining area staff all alike in the best possible way. Perfect place to dine if you are a sucker for Authentic South East Asian Cuisine. Unfortunately had to order to go for time constraints. Definitely try the Sushi, i will do the same in near future as I watched it made with love and perfection. By far one of the best restaurants in Kochi.
My longstanding depression about the non-existence of a half-decent Asian place, in Cochin, has been quelled. Not only was the food fantastic, but the staff are most warm and attentive, without hovering. We ordered some sushi (amongst other things) and the best part was how personal the staff tried to make the chopstick experience for my chopstick-infirm friend. Chef Nakajima took a second away from his sushi rolling table to teach her. It was useless. She sucked. But our evening has become such a nice memory.
100% recommend that you stop why.
While you're at it, be a pleasant customer to have too and maybe you'll gain some favour with staff, in the form of complimentary chocolate pandas.

Such courteous staff, a beautiful ambience and a lovely vibe. We tried our usual Asian staples- Nasi Lemak, Beef Randang, Ice Milo and something new- Lavenger ginger tea and Chicken Bao. The Bao was yum, despite the dough being sweet( maybe that is how it should be. It was my first try). Nasi Lemak was amazing. I have had only Nasi Lemak with fried chicken version. This one had a curried chicken and omelette instead of fried eggs. Their Chef had come to our table to enquire about the food and he said curried chicken is what people want here in Kerala, so they had to tweak the menu. He offered us some shrimp paste to try with the coconut rice that comes with the Nasi Lemak and it tasted so fresh. Beef Rendang I would say I have had better ones before. I am not an ardent fan of Iced Milo, but this was the closest version to the authentic one I heard from my husband. Lavendar tea was kind of ok. I am not a tea person, so I should not be rating this. It had a very mild flavour. The pretty interiors, the most welcoming staffs and the company made the food taste even better.
One of the best noodles I have ever tasted. Same taste as it is from it's originated place. Must place to visit if you need to experience original taste...

It's a classy place with lovely decor and cozy seating area with authentic flavours in each of their recipes, we started off with chicken soup which had delighful flavors and lovely aroma , perfect appetizer i must say. The dimsum is quite well made and we tried the spicy chicken gyozo which was japanese stir fried dimsum served with yummy garlic sauce, we also ordered steamed fish which was not that great. Coming to the main course ma la sesame noodles were yumm and to go with it we ordered sweet and sour chicken which was chinese dish with tangy flavours to it with loads of steamed colorful veggies. Hunan rice was delicious too. To finish it on a sweet note we ordered the fried icecream for the dessert which was 6 scoops of vanila and chocolate icecream which is meant to be eaten as a whole like one ball in a single bite then there is explosion of flavours in the mouth as you slowly chew with a hint of traditional coconut in the crust!!!
The staff were courteous and place was decently filled, definitely a good place if you want good ambience as well as authentic food!

The place is one of the best in Cochin for Pan asian food. The ambience was very nice, the manager and the staff are very hepful and cooperative. Honey mustard prawns were amazingggg. Also the Pad Thai had authentic taste. Loved it.
Well, what I loved most was the service of the restaurant. The servers had knowledge of the type of food and were able to understand your requirement and according to that offer the right food choice. We had an amazing time, from starters to the dessert everything was amazing and had a fine taste and presentation. One must try their drink young coconut.

This place makes the saying, "All that glitters is not gold" ring in my head like church bells- Loud!
There is an Asian, Chinese and Thai restaurant available in every Chauraha of this country and this has made people including me oblivious to what actual Asian cuisine tastes like. Well, @nasiandmee nailed asian cuisine flavours right to its core. If u wanna have real asian food, for once in your life, please, please visit an actual asian restaurant.
For me the special treat was finding a staff named Ram Halam from Dharmanagar, Tripura in there. I talked with him for about 15mins during which I learnt that he is an alumni of Holy Cross College and was familiar with names like Tapashi Mam, Reba Madam and then some. For 15mins only, but talking to Ram gave me a sense of nostalgia and happiness, coz the sense of meeting a person who can relate to you and that too in an odd place and so far from home were really infinitesimal. All that happening 4hrs before I was suppose to leave for the airport for my flight back to Delhi!
I knew, it would be a long while before I meet someone from my home state again!

We saw online reviews of this place but were not sure how it would be, but it turned out to be very good. The dimsums of mushroom and water chestnut were soft, nice and hot. The veg Pad Thai noodles and Nasi Goreng were quite flavorful. What we did not like was the Five Spice Crispy Corn which was recommended but not quite good. Also, we were recommended the Ice ended Milo shake as a starting drink but it turned out to be very heavy and actually filled us up. So while it was well made but having it at the start meant we were not able to enjoy our food as much. Overall a very good experience and amazing to see such good Asian preparation in a city like Kochi.
Really really loved the place and the vibe of the place. We ordered (all veg) 1. mushroom & water chestnuts dim sum (something really unique but didn't really go with all the sauces provided) 2. Five spice crispy corn (won't recommend if you have had crispy corn before) 3. Pad thai noodles(quite authentic, would recommend if you like a little spicy) 4. Goreng rice (unique Indonesian rice, generally served with egg but really liked it even without it) 5. Redang - mock meat ( mock meat is soya bean and is served with rice which was like a Goan curry with an Indonesian mix, a bit spicy if you have directly but good with rice)
Drink : Blended Milo (took me back in time to when I was a kid and my mum used to make ice cold Milo, would recommend you have this drink at the end of meal to finish the job)

Good experience and become my first option.The super famous place, did not let me down even a single bit! We ordered crispy corn kernels with butter and spring onion, beef roast, Mango curry, Parota and Appam. For dessert there was payasam! And the place is definitely must go!

Definitely worth a visit if looking for authentic Asian food in Kochi at an affordable price. Some of the dishes were as good as it gets abroad, Char siew bao is one while the stir fry black pepper with tenderloin stood out from my visit.
Sushi was decent. The rice was slightly overdone but importantly didn't have an lingering aftertaste if the ingredients were not fresh.
Clean and good service, staff were on point to recommend removing a dish as it would likely be a lot more than required for our group of four.
Overall good to see Nasi and Mee open in Kochi with the same standards (as outlets in Bangalore) and worthy alternative to Indo-Chinese offerings.

For the UK this is yummy authentic Malay/Singaporean food. Its the usual menu so not the array of dishes you would get out in Asia maybe but the food is delicious.Tried laksa, some chicken dishes with friends etc and they have loved them.I'm a vegetarian so the menu is more limited for me but what I've had has been yummy.It's not a pretty place and down a side street but also it means it hasn't got the queues of other places and worth the visit.
This place is really worth visiting. Had a much satisfying chicken wintermelon soup, their honey glazed prawns were literally lip smacking. Since me and my husband were not really hungry, we didn't try any of their main course and jumped into desserts. The milo panna Cotta was yum. For sure I will make more visits to this place and try more of thier menu. Great food. Great ambience too.

Really good food. We ordered N&M Nasi Goreng, thai prawns, dumplings and topped it with one of the best fried icecreams I've had in a while. Worth the money and delicious!
My husband and I visited this place on an impulse. It was late afternoon and we weren't all that hungry, but were really wanting to try Nasi Goreng.
Suffice it to say, we were not just pleasantly surprised, but gastronomically satisfied too. To the extent that we ended up ordering way more than we thought we would.
Really good food, correct portions, friendly staff and an ambience that makes you believe you're in South East Asia - Nasi and Mee has it all!

Now about food
I tried their chicken winter melon soup, as the menu says its immensely satisfying, followed by Che Chow, its nothing but dumpling which we opted pan-fried.
Our main dish was Pan-fried chicken noodles which just perfect for me, packed with plenty of veggies believe for a person who is not into veggies love the sameĀ
Now the main stuff Dessert, we tried fried ice cream half vanilla and half chocolates, 3 small balls each and it was really good, and I even tried milo Pana cotta, which by the look itself was perfect.
Highly recommended.

Then the chicken and chives are equally good.
Brocolli sne cashew was decent and the mapo tofu with jasmine rice and the milo panacotta were stunning.
The tofu was melting in the mouth and was mindblowing.

Nothing special about the food . What ever dishes we had where tasty , expect for few. We had Kung Pao chicken , Nasi goreng and Hunan fried rice . Hunan fried rice was not special at all .

Nasi and Mee is a world class Asian restaurant that is found in a little road just off MG road near Shenoys theater.
The restaurant is bursting with ambiance and has a wonderful energy to it.
There is chic bench style seating and quirky interiors.
The menu is varied and the food is unbelievably authentic for being outside of SE Asia!!
Salad:
The choice was between Larb and Som Tam, and we decided to go with the Som Tam. Be warned, it is authentic to a fault and the heat will blow your pants off!! Personally, I would have liked a little more fish sauce and lime, but still good. The heat overpowered everything else and so 3/5

For Mains:
We ordered the Lemak Rice (my personal favorite) with Jumbo Prawns in Chili Basil sauce. The Lemak rice is sticky rice infused with coconut milk and is delicious. The jumbo prawns was also extremely flavorful with fresh prawns and generous serving size. My only criticism would be to completely shell the prawns - 4/5
My little son ordered the Malak chicken and it was crispy chicken in Szechuan sauce. A very balanced dish bursting with flavor. (So good, he dd not want to share) - 5/5
The Nasi Goreng we ordered was authentic to a fault, came with a serving of Sambal and was so flavorful on so many levels!! The Nasi Goreng can be ordered in Vegan, Prawn, Chicken or as a mix of everything. Again, very generous serving size - 5/5
We also ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken. I am just repeating myself here, but again delicious and generous serving size. Very subtle flavors with a distinct taste - 5/5
The only stumbling block in our order was the Pan fried noodles. We actually ordered that to go with the Sweet and Sour, but it came doused in a bland sauce. Though flavorful, it was not a good combination for the Sweet and Sour being extremely saucy by itself. The pan fried noodles itself was delicious. 4/5

The service is very quick and attentive. My daughter called the service 'Superhuman';for the speed at which dishes were delivered to our table considering how busy it was for a Friday evening.
Our orders were taken by David the manager, and he is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and offered some excellent recommendations.
By the end of the meal we were too full to order dessert, but we will definitely be back to sample the rest of their amazing menu.
If you believe in the adage 'You get what you pay for', then the restaurant offers great value for the money you pay in terms of quality, authenticity and serving size. The restaurant is slightly on the more expensive side, but is totally worth every penny you pay.

I went here for my anniversary. The ambience is refreshing and casual. Service is excellent. Chicken dumplings were tender and flavourful. Dongbei chicken and baby corn were grilled to perfection. It was spicy but slightly sour as well. It was a unique dish. Corn fried rice is for people who hate spice. It was mild . Pad thai was excellent, almost as good as the ones I have had in Bangkok . Fried ice-cream needed little bit more sugar. I loved every dish I had here , but 2 of my favourite dishes here were the chicken steamed dumplings and peach tea. I mean I can sing sonnets about it. There was a miscommunication about a veg starter , and the staff kindly obliged to replace the order without being prompted . Price is on the higher end, but worth it. Highly recommended.
Nasi and Mee is one the best Asian cuisine restaurant in kochi and itās just perfect. First thing comes to my mind is the level of authentic food which we get there at Nasi and mee, I thought Thai soul of GHBK was the only place where we get that kind of Asian food but it was just amazing.
Coming to the food I had my all time favourite The Nasi Goreng which was pretty much amazing as the whole experience, couldnāt say more you have to try it out because I think itās the best youāll get in kochi. For drinks I tried out the Milo shake which was pretty good enough, it was loaded with sugar so if you are a sweet tooth youāll love it for sure. And itās perfect for all the spicy food. Definitely worth the visit highly recommend.
Was more than happy to visit Nasi and Mee in Kochi. I must say it is as iconic as their outlet in Bangalore. Nasi Goreng is a must try dish for those experiencing the Malay cuisine!
Excellent food. Got the real taste of thai. So many of you wont be liking the taste, for me i would chose to get real flavors, and they have it. So i wud say this is one of best place for having a different taste of food which is not indian.

The best place to have southeast asian cuisine in town. We always go there to relish the mouthwatering food and enjoy the friendly service. Recently they have added Sushi š£ to their menu which was icing on the cake during our last visit. Ram is an excellent host who would welcome you with a big smile always.
After seeing the reviews I decided to try myself but since the name of the dishes was French to me I asked the waiter to explain some of them to me. Tried one of the dish with thai rice, prawns, chicken, salad and fried egg, the food was tasty but it was too hot for me to handle. Finished one bottle of specially bottled Nasi and Mee water to cool things down. The staff is courteous and friendly and pricing is a bit expensive
A restaurant with super fast service and polite and humble staff. The food was good. A bit expensive but it is worth it. Also it is a child friendly restaurant. We went with our 6 months old baby..After going there we thought that we could have taken her stroller as it had space for it nd there was another family with a stroller already..

With two stores already running in Bangalore and Chennai, Nasi and Mee continues to conquer the south with their newest outlet in Kochi. Tucked away down a small street off of MG Road with a massive store-front parking space is one of the best spots in town to get your fill of Southeast Asian cuisine in the city. We pulled up to the restaurant late one Thursday evening and were quickly shown a seat. First impressions, it was a gorgeous, large space with tables arranged to seat groups of various sizes. There were fairy lights and plant elements, set off by some warm lighting.
A few minutes in, we were served water and the menus. We settled on an order of Honey Chili Lotus Stem, Prawns in Thai Chili Basil, Mixed Pad Thai and Fried Ice Cream for dessert. For a place that has paid so much attention to the dƩcor and food, I must admit that the aesthetics of the menu was largely overlooked.
Our starters ā Honey Chili Lotus Stem and Prawns in Thai Chili Basil ā were brought to us first. The lotus stem tasted amazing, a harmonious coalescence of sweet and tartness with a hint of spice. However, I did feel that the stems were sliced a tad bit too thick and wasnāt as crisp. The prawns had a very strong smell, which is uncommon for fresh prans that we get in the city. It tasted great and we were A-Okay the next day, but we did have our doubts back at the restaurant, and that surely marred our experience.
Next, our large portion of Mixed Pad Thai was served with some sugar, chili flakes, powdered peanut, and a couple slices of lemon on the side. While it was great that we were allowed the means to adjust the meal to our tastes, I would rather have received a plate with flavors that were spot on.
A lot of Thai and Malaysian desserts are based around coconut, tapioca and agar. My numerous experiences with Kacang and Pana Cotta had me settling on the Fried Ice Cream to finish off our meal. Six bite sized dumpling like fried balls were brought to us on a plate. We had opted for a mix of chocolate and vanilla. My undying love for coconut had me thoroughly enjoying this dish. I loved the chocolate ones and my friend loved the vanilla ones, so if you find yourself unable to pick one, go ahead and order the mixed platter.
Placed on each table are three condiments for diners to tweak the level of spice or tartness. One may also request the waiter for chopsticks and it will be brought to you. The service was quite prompt, though it does take a while for your order to be prepped. Although they were near closing time we were not hastened nor did the staff show any signs of annoyance at the three tables holding them back from closing up.
Nasi and Mee is on the more expensive side as far as dining options go in Kochi. However, the service, ambiance and cuisine are worth it.

Ever since Nasi And Mee opened up, I've heard nothing but rave reviews about this place. Finally dropped by to check it out over the weekend. This space has such a great ambience with pops of color and lots of indoor greenery which makes for a very refreshing interior. The Menu has quite a few interesting options to explore as well, hopefully next time.
As for then, we ordered the Chicken Winter Melon Soup, Prawn Har Gao Dumplings, Spicy Sambal Chicken, N&M Nasi Goreng w/ Chicken, Hunan Mixed Fried Rice, Ice Blended Milo and Chinese Tea. Starting with the Winter Melon Soup, we aren't generally big fans of clear soups but this one was a winner. It was different, in a good way. The Prawn Har Gao was delicious as well, especially with the accompanying sauces. The Spicy Sambal Chicken was pretty good as well but could've been a more generous portion. Moving on to the Mains, the Nasi Goreng was delicious as was the Hunan Fried Rice. Both Rice dishes were packed with flavour and the accompaniments to the Nasi Goreng were simply a bonus!
Lastly, getting on to the drinks, I'd heard a lot of hype surrounding the Ice Blended Milo and as good as it looked, it was just another Chocolate drink. Mind you, it was a decent drink but definitely not worth the hype surrounding it and overpriced as well. An unexpected star of the meal though, was the Chinese Tea which was a pot of very delicious Jasmine flavored tea.
Overall, I'd say we had a pretty good meal. The staff was competent and the service quick. Would definitely recommend stopping by!

The restaurant offers extremely good food and service. I am totally in love with their Sambals, dumpling, satays and everything we tried. If thereās one thing Iād suggest to give them place in food heaven it would be to serve the rice a little hotter than they usually do. Overall, it was brilliant eating here

Fantastic place, fantastic food and great service. Well worth the visit. We choosed this place to celebrate my mothers birthday, and it couldnt have been a better choice! Staff was so attentive, they even played a birthday song.

Their veg pad Thai is better than their veg nasi Goreng which in turn is better than their prawn pad Thai. I may order home delivery from them again for their veg pad Thai!

We went there for a Friday night dinner and food was absolutely wonderful from preparation to presentation, very pleasing.
Ambience- ambience is good with mild music being played in the back ground.Charcoal coloured roof with yellow bulbs with little greenery is everything you can hope for.
Cost- 1000 for two persons...make sure you are not going alone. portions size are good and its better to share.
Food- We started with chendol drink an iced sweet coconut milk desert.(definite try)
Lotus stem with honey - Try it with little garlic sauce you will be in heaven(one plate will be enough for two)
mushroom spinach fried rice - Little dry and it was just ok.(good quantity)
Litchi drink- perfect way to end the meal.
Don't think twice before ordering chendol drink and Lotus stem with honey.

Last night was made with a sumptuous dinner at @nasiandmee .
Amidst the pitter-patter of the rain I made way to taste some pan-asian cuisine that I have been hearing rave reviews of. A word about the ambience, Nasi and Mee is a fine line between a cosy diner and a fine dining restaurant, quite oddly reminding me of some place I've so fondly read in Murakami novels. The decor and ambience was an instant hit with me. The staff was also very helpful and courteous. That always rings well for me. Now moving on to the stars of the night.
Being my first visit, I played it safe this time. Started of with the Chicken wintermelon soup, that was just perfect for the rainy night it was. The chicken broth and the herbs sat well with the weather. For main course, I opted for a familiar mixed Nasi Goreng. It was every bit a treat I hoped it would be. The chicken, fries egg, prawn cracker, and the perfectly seasoned rice was as good as the lore. A serving of Kung Pao chicken just played wonders at my palatte. And to put a perfect end to the night, we washed it all down with a Chilled Milo and a serving of Chinese tea, which is basically Jasmine tea.
Again, the staff made sure we were happy with the meal and were courteous as anyone would appreciate.
Authentic south east asian restaurant..really liked the food..we had eaten from it's Bangalore outlet..liked kochi food better..keep it up..
One of the best thai food restaurants in town ..!! I loved thr mamak goreng , dark chocolate momos and iced milo alot ... I felt everything lil bit overpriced otherwise it was worth trying !
It is already well established that Nasi and Mee is one of the best Asian restaurant in Kochi. The Dynamite Prawns sushi is so heavenly that I can eat it again and again. Very good atmosphere too! The pad thai is also good. If you are a loved of Chocolate, can try the panda desert. It is a simple steamed chocolate desert.
Great service, the staff were really friendly. A good place if you want to try more Asian cuisines. But definitely DO NOT take your parents who are used to normal Kerala cuisine, they will complain about the food. I recommend the Panda Chocolate Baos and the Nasi Goreng rice š¤š»

I have visited Nasi and Mee branches in Bangalore several times - Yelahanka branch to be precise. And I have always enjoyed the food there.
My husband and I had ordered a sushi, almond fried prawn starter, Nasi goreng and the coconut drink at Nasi and Mee Kochi.
The Nasi goreng was what we didnāt enjoy much, probably due to the sweetish taste.
The sushi was pretty good. The coconut drink was something new and different to taste.
The quantity of food for the pricing is very good and filling.
The place looks gorgeous with amazing paintings on the walls in bright colors. Nicely done up, cosy and comfortable for outings with friends, family and partners.
I always find myself going back to places where the staff is courteous. The staff here were very pleasant, they made good recommendations of dishes. They were very polite and friendly.
Also, loved the music played here.
We had a great time.
In comparison to the Bangalore branch, I found the food at Kochi branch very slightly lesser in terms of taste. It might be that I made the wrong choice of dishes, so I wouldnāt write off the Nasi and Mee Kochi branch just yet. I will definitely visit again and will recommend the place to my friends and family for authentic Asian food in Kochi.
All i would say is,incase u r looking for a food hunt trip to Malaysia, Singapore or Thailand,mann just save from spending for your flight ticket and enjoy it all here. Food is so damn good ,freshly made and tastes genuine as it is served. Great service, charming ambience and definetely a cool place to go with family...Well done Nasi& Mee Teamšš»
Wonderful Asian cuisine. Thai, Japanese, Korean, you name it, Nasi and Mee has it.
We had Nasi Goreng Prawns, Sushi and Kung pao chicken. Food was really tasty and very filling. Milo Tiramisu for dessert was also top class.
The staff were extremely courteous and we appreciate the well mannered Anandhu who served us.
We definitely recommend Nasi and Mee to all who have a liking for Thai and Asian food in general.
The place is really good for a person who loves asian cuisine but it is expensive. But all the dishes that we tried were worth the price.
The prawns tempura is really good. And the panda bao is a cute choco lava and the fried icr creams if they reduce the size of them one can truly understand how tasty it is.
This is one of my favourite places to have Asian cuisine. I have been a routine visitor in their Bangalore branch and they maintained the same quality as there. Pad thai was really good. California roll was great as usual and chicken and shrimp momos was also good. The service by Joel was also very good.
Very good dining experience with friends and family. All the items were good and we especially liked the Thai Chilli Prawns, Sambal Prawn Satay and Thai Green Curry. Hot & Sour Chicken Soup was very tasty. Sushi items too were good. This restaurant is in the bylane and you may have to manoeuvre a bit to reach the spot. Prompt and excellent service. Ambience is fine.
Food is really yummy. Nasi Goreng and Singapore chicken rice is must try.
