Tried their Al ashrouf which was super tasty .. don't know what all do they add .. but that aroma is so tempting and you would keep wanting it more .. but I think they have reduced the chicken size as compared to older times .. now ordering leg piece is waste of money for that portion .. breast piece is better to be bought .. and dining is better than ordering online

Al ashrouf from slices of spices is one of the best food i have ever had in my life... Really tasty. The meat is so juicy and tender. the masala is so tasty and havent seen the same from any where else. It has different varietes like leg or breast... normal juicy or supreme ( spicy) .. it comes in combo with wide range of bread varities. My personal preference is supreme breast with nan.
The food is good to taste although the chicken is a bit chewey. The ambience is good. The services are prompt. Prices are reasonable as well.
Loved this place ... Last year to this year they have managed to keep their taste on point... Al Ashrouf chicken at its best. Very flavorful and juicy chicken pieces. The charcoal grill was awesome too.

The first time you go here, you get an artistic vibe. From the hulks big green painting on the wall to the outdoorsie vibe. You fall in love with everything.
They have seating available both inside and outside the restaurant. The Al ashrouf chicken, named after the owners dad is the best chicken I have ever had. Everytime I visit Kochi, this is one thing I make sure to have no matter what.
Car parking could be an issue if there is a lot of rush. But the food more than makes up for it all.
Mintlime works best with any dish.

The food is amazing. Especially everyone must try the Al Ashrouf chicken. The juicy breast and supreme breast is simply awesome. Have visited this place for more than 20 times by now. Staff is ok. Ambiance is good.
I always wanted to try some good Arabian food but never got any, then i came across slice of spice about which i had heard a lot. Surprisingly the food was amazing and for once i got a taste authentic Arabian food. I loved their chicken al ashrouf. The best i have ever tasted.

Tried their special alshourf chicken and this is the best one I had from their branch. This one is juicy and spicy. The masala taste is superb.
The taste of the spice is totally different and awesome . The preparation is also good. I feel it more tasty at their Kazhakootam restaurant. If you prefer the alasharoof, brest combo is a good option.

I was new in town when my foodie gym rats roomies in here ordered this yummy delight for us in dinner. if you re a fan of Mayonnaise sauce do text them or add note for extra ones. One of the best charcoal chicks I have tried so far. A bit inclined to the spicy side but hey what's fun in it if you eat a Kubboose or an Arabian delight without shedding a few tears and a running nose :P.

As it was holiday went for a ride to puthuvypin and on the way back went to slice of spice. Ordered their signature Al Ashrouf and Mediterranean Heat along with some moms from big fat moms. Al Ashrouf was nice the masala it have was spicy and have a great aroma to it. Mediterranean heat was juicy every bite was delicious. Momo's was also good. Ambience is set perfectly they have some outdoor setting also which is so cool. It was really a yum time 😋
Good food at a reasonable cost. The staff was very kind and even when we were late they accommodated us and ensured that we were served and taken care well.

This is my all time favorite place for Grilled chicken varities. They have prompt delivery schedule too. I have been a weekly regular for 2 years now. Being a very picky eater, I can confidently say that you will love the Al faham , All ashrouf, Shawarma Roll definitely.

I had this drink called pling and I personally didn't like it much.The hazelnut flavoured cold coffee was a real treat to my taste buds ! I also tried their new item on the menu 'rotsy charcoal grill chicken ' and it was good as well.I personaly liked the leg piece better than the breast piece . Al ashrouf chicken was WOOOW!!! Just loved it sooo much . I kept forcing my husband to try this place , he wasn’t too keen . But since I insisted after reading the reviews he agreed. And boy we were impressed by the taste . Even the Persian crust was nice, a little less spicy . maybe I should have taken the Mediterranean crust . But I could easily feed that to my kids .
The only negative point for this place would be for their service but the food makes up for it. We forget about the service once the food reaches .

Went with family to try out their Al Ashrouf chicken. It's different than the other grills for its marination and juiciness. Al Faham not as expected. Mediterranean heat is a bit hot but soft and juicy. Tired Green apple, pineapple, water melon, and grape Juices. Juices are ok
If you're looking for a place to spend with friends, good food and a warm lit place, this is your spot. Evenings are simply beautiful, even though it's a little crowded. How could it not be crowded? The food is yummilicous and so worth the price! If you're here for the first time, go grab the Al ashrouf xxx. It's juicy and spicy. Momos are good with the sauces they provide. The lime mint cooler is a must try. The honey grape is 👌 the Mediterranean heat is also something that I'd recommend.

This place is aways full, which says alot about the food. Had ordered the Al Ashrouf chicken which was cooked perfectly and the passion fruit drink which was spiced with a green chilly was certainly refreshing. Will definitely return to this place again..

This review reflects my view on the Edappally/Cheranellore outlet ONLY
Today, 13.01.2018, I visited the Cheranellore outlet of Slice of Spice and have the following comments to make:
1. They are housed in a prime location.
2. The restaurant layout to say the least, looks like a foot cut to fit the size of the footwear.
3. The furniture though visually appealing is not at all comfortable.
4. Though fitted with 2 AC and around 8 fans, the place felt warm to me. Covering the front glass with tinted film would probably reduce the discomfort caused by the direct light from sun.
I ordered a combo meal, my colleague Arabic rice and my wife a different set of combo meal. We were told that it would take 25 minutes to serve the order. With smart phones to play around with, the time requested did not feel like an eternity, however, when the food was not served much after the requested time, we had to grumble and start questioning the waiters.
The order now started rolling out piece by piece. The two combo meals were first served with chicken only and the bread 10 plus minutes later, much after the chicken were consumed, which would have lost its taste if it were consumed cold.
The bread finally arrived and we had to consume it with water ever was left of the sauce.
It was indeed a meal that did not bring any joy or cheer, however, on the contrary it only created rage and anger.
The food was good, but I could not enjoy it the way it was meant to be. The salad was limp, with a piece of iceberg lettuce served that had passed its prime. The cabbage salad lacked crispness. The nan, though late, was great. The chicken, yes, definitely to my liking.
In conclusion, I wish to state that a meal that would have been great had it been served the way it should have been was not meant to be and ruined my lunch.

We had gone to this place for lunch after hearing about it a lot. Parking is definitely an issue here but the food made us forget about how hard was it to park our car. We orders the Smoked Chicken Balls soup and the Supreme leg with some Butter naan. The soup was extremely tasty and I wanted more. It’s a must try. Supreme leg again was absolutely tasty but I felt like it needed a bit more heat to it. The garlic paste that came along with it was so damn delicious and we ordered more. Overall it was a good lunch.
A private food street is the perfect description! This is a group of trendy restaurants coupled together and gives you great food! In Slice of spice, tried their signature Al Ashraf chicken and it is yummy and super juicy! Marinated and cooked well this will give you a great treat to your taste buds! They are spiced and extra marinated tendered chicken and haven’t tasted such nice food recently! The ambiance is nicely set with mosquitos to give you enough company(you can’t avoid them in kochi)

The food was superb. I tried their mediterranean heat and al-ashroof chicken. Both of them were really good. Then we ordered a vannila shake and that was also great. Service was good. The place was really neat and clean.

One of the few restaurants which have good juicy alfahm. Alashraf is one of their signature alfahm which is very juicy and tastes well. This time we ordered Mediterranean crust and Thupka. Both were good and delicious.
We met up with some friends after long time and the place gave us so many more beautiful memories to keep. The service, food and ambience were all perfect. Well maintained. We enjoyed a lot. I guess al ashroof was my favourite, also tried the Afghani chicken was on the milder end. Chicken was severed along with naan, it was super appetizing. Great value for money.
Super fast meals are served here. Tried their vegetarian fried rice for lunch and I must say that it was good. Their home made Chilli sauce is a killer with infused flavors. My colleague enjoyed his Chicken Mandi. This restaurant even serves vegetarian Mayonnaise. How cool is that?

The marination was too good.. the meat was well cooked and juicy…
The cheesy beef fries was good too as well and had the right quantity of beef and cheese to give the taste and crispy feel.
Mojito was not my kinda taste as it had other ingredients which have it a different feel and taste.. sure many or most people love it this way..
Waiters were courteous, pleasing and friendly…
