Our first visit to this shop was in 2017. It was a random stopover.. After that we loved this place and visited several times.. This is one of our fav places.. A healthy and a quick meal place... The place was renovated beginning of this yr and has more tables now.. All a happy customer..
Really good soups and great pastas. In taste as well as in quantity. However, I noticed that they had provided plastic bottles at each table. Considering that we must use plastic judiciously, I really do hope they provide water in reusable glass bottles.
The best place to have the hottest and tastiest soups in Kochi. The place is small and not easily visible from normal traffic due to its wealthy creepers. The food and soups are ultimate. The cream of pumpkin soup , the pasta with the salsa Rosa sauce are too good. I tried the beef burger but it tasted good only after the sandwiched tomatoes were removed. The place doesn't have a proper cooling facility but I would still suggest it for a quick bite or sip. This is located on the kaloor kathrakadavu road on the same building as Malaya restaurant, on the first floor. The rates are reasonable compared to the quantity they provide. For a burger, a pasta and a soup costed to under 600. The service is really good. They also have delivery at your doorstep. They accept all types of payments including Paytm. the overall ambience is good but it's too small to host a get together. There are options for mojitos, teas, juices, shakes as well as starter items. This does not provide a sufficient parking lot or structure. The interiors have been well done with a few coffee mugs hanging at the separation of the kitchen area. They also have a not so bad washroom facility as well.
Best place for soup and garlic bread in Kochi. Cream soups are rich and full of flavour. You'll find good chunks of chicken as well (in case of the chicken soups i.e.). Had a chance to try our their chicken steak in pepper sauce - tasted very good, although a some more veggies would have made it perfect. Overall a good place for health and
food lovers.
What we ordered:
Belgian chicken waterzooi ( creamy and full of flavour)
Seafood coconut soup ( a beautiful amalgamation of prawns, squid and king fish. I thought it felt a lot like a Thai kinda soup. But creamier and the bread pot was just bloody brilliant!)
Sausage delight salad ( Just like we make 'em at home!)
A total bill amount of approximately Rs. 570 for two people (includes a bottle of water too). I'd say that is pretty reasonable!
The interiors are beautiful and neat. Well kept and clean. Service is a little slow but the wait is worth it. Music to go with food is a great combo and they aced it in that department too!
Overall, I look forward to going back for more. Absolutely loved this place!

The place is small, but cute.Everything we ordered -the soups, salads and the sandwich - were tasty and the service was polite. The place is not at all crowded.
A very small cute place which serves good soups at reasonable rate ! Please don't eat the garlic bread they serve as an ,**appetizer**! Try eating it aftr dipping it in the soup !pure bliss !
Their cream of chicken soup is good but star of the place is seafood chowder soup!
One of the best place to spend your Sunday evening the healthy way, gorging on Soups, yummy yet tummy safe salads and more.
Loved the salads, almost the same taste you get at an authentic Conti salad place.
Love the mushroom soup.
You will definitely get confused seeing the kind of varieties of soups this restaurant have on their menu. Salads and sandwiches too are good. Last week I tried a new one. Black Eye Bean Mutton Soup and it was too good. The only negative is the accessibility to the restaurant. I believe they will soon move to a yet more comfortable space for all.
The grilled chicken and cheese sandwich was pretty good for the price
Easy to miss, tucked away in a corner. Your loss if you miss it. Small cozy place, with extremely limited seating. Great soups. Best pasta in Kochi, hands down.
One of the few places who serve a large variety of salads and soup. The best part is they deliver as well. Their minced mutton soup and grilled chicken salad is one of the best things on the menu.
very fast delivery and we can track the delivery location also.. Food was great..
If you are looking for some Italian grade soup and pasta don’t think twice just order from the soup shop. Ordered the mushroom soup and the mushroom Alfredo pasta . Both came with garlic bread as accompaniment. The standard was really worth mentioning . Great job.
great soup ... in love with pumpkin celery soup.... repeating the order asap :p
Was bored of regular lunch stuffs and wanted to have something different and this place came to mind without any hesitation went to this place.
A small place with few chairs and table with decent interiors.
Tried chicken shorbha which was decent and those garlic bread went well along with soup. Open sandwich was also good with chunky pieces of chicken and cheese nothing to complain.
A pocket friendly place too . .
#Rahulsfoodscenes
Been here just once so far and they pretty much hold my heart in a bowl. True to their name, their soups are unparalleled. Creamy and decadent. They also serve some of the best Pasta in town. Can't wait to go back there.

Any soup is good if it's made of Tomato and I loved the Minestrone Chicken Soup here.
It's so cozy in here, especially in the rainy evening. The trouble with enjoying soups is that
it gets heated up and this place seriously need to decrease the room temperature.
The server here knows how to generate love for Soups without doubt.
As always the food is excellent.
Good food...good ambience and great hospitality....food is simply superb and great quantity for 1 person. The stairway is a little scary for people who are scared of heights. But its totally worth climbing!
Well-blanched soup and meals. We prefer seafood coconut soup with some tomato, coconut milk, spice, fish, squids, shrimps, crab.... cannot complain anything for food. Bread, chef’s chicken salad, pasta and drink are all very good and full of natural flavors. The owner is very polite with a sweet smile. Overall, we have a nice dinner there.
Just went there to have soups and we loved them all. They have a range of soups from clear to creamy! There was a small confusion with my soup but that was rectified. Service was slow! A really cozy place for some good soup in Kochi
Lovely cosy ambience- they’ve utilised a small space well with nice decor that’s quite apt for the name “soup shop” as well.
The staff are polite and friendly.
We ordered the cream of chicken soup and the tomato soup on another occasion , though we chose to share it between us the quantity was still sufficient , and the soups were warm, rich and full of flavors. Very satisfying!
We tried a sprout based salad which was alright.
The pasta in arrabiata sauce was pretty amazing, hot and flavorful served with garlic bread( which could be improved ?)
Overall a lovely cosy place with great food which I’m definitely gonna keep visiting :)
It's all in the name, and I wouldn't emphasize on more. If you're here for the first time, make sure you have a soup before trying out anything else. It's a little cafe with a decent ambience and a modest amount of items to the menu. They serve thick and thin soups, but it's always good to ask before fixing on something you just saw on the menu. The salads are just ok, the salsa rose chicken pasta wasn't too soggy nor too dry, but again, this is not your place for pasta. Soups. Just soups. It's good. Staff are courteous and well behaved. Kudos to that!
A warm cosy place with fairly good ambience. Me and Sanjana Sudhir ordered the creamy chicken soup, grilled tuna sandwich and the grilled chicken tikka kuchumber salad. I gotta say the place is exactly as we expected it to be! The soup was excellent, the tuna sandwich was good and my fav was the salad which blew us away. The Service was good and we were shocked to receive 20% discount too (being birthday week of the shop). I would suggest adding a little more space to the shop to ease the customers and including a good washroom. But truly a place worth bookmarking! 😀
Had Chicken shorba and Tuna and quil egg salad. Shorba was bit too spicy, but salad was great. They could improve a bit on garlic bread. Ambience was likeable.
The open chicken sandwich, mushrooms soup, pumpkin soup and the sweet corn chicken and cream of tomato and chicken soup are must trys from this place. The ambience is lovely. The staff is also very friendly and courteous.
One of those places worth revisiting! The creamy chicken soup was absolutely delicious. We also had the grilled tuna sandwich and the grilled chicken tikka kuchumber salad, both tasty. We went right after the peak noon hour so had a calm peaceful ambience. The staff were really attentive. Worth the buck! Sunil Ram
The Shop got Nice Ambience, food and friendly staffs. Recommended to spend time with friends and family, Best time is from 5pm to 9pm, #SoupCulture
The Soup Shop is a small and cosy place with a really cool ambience. I personally love a good soup and hence decided to try them out. We ordered Brown Onion Mutton Soup and Cream of Chicken Soup. Our waiter explained our soups and I found that very appreciable.
We first got garlic bread which were crispy and tasty. Now moving onto the soups , the Mutton Soup is a clear and spicy soup with a lot of flavors. It has an extremely good aroma and is definitely a soup from Kerala. The cream of chicken was really thick and tasty. We enjoyed both the soups. I also ordered a Roasted Tomato soup but that honestly felt like ketchup in water. You guys need to improve on that. But overall a good soup experience.
A REALLY GREAT PLACE TO BE.
THE SOUP IS PERFECT AND HAS ALL INGREDIENTS
PERFECTLY MEASURED AND ADDED. WE GET GARLIC BREADS ALONG WITH THE SOUP WHICH WE CAN EITHER DIP OR EAT ALONG WITH THE SOUP.
THE BURGER IS GOOD ACTUALLY. ITS JUICY
Had an amazing experience here! Stumbled upon this place when I actually fell sick and was craving for some good soup...and here it was! The chicken shorba soup although spicy was really good...a fan of the spagetti Bolognese! The chicken kuchumber salad is just mouth watering! They need to expand the place other than that is a highly recommend
Cochin visits are not the same anymore and there is no going home without trying out a new soup from the soup shop now. Good day, bad day, sick day, health gab day I only crave for of their yum soups lately. Soup shop clearly is my new found love. I've tried several soups at the soup shop and their spice blend is top notch. My rating is for the concept, staff and service. I hope they start a branch in my city too.
Had Creme of Chicken, Hawaiian Chicken & Pasta Salad & SS Club Sandwich, It was yummy.
The Hawaiian Chicken & Pasta Salad is a dish by itself and people of all ages would enjoy it, especially xGen.

Great place and awesome food. We tried Chciken Shorba and Chefs Sepcial salad with grilled chicken. Enoyed both. The free garlic bread with the soup was a suprise.
Dropped by The Soup Shop for a quick meal as we happened to be in the neighbourhood. Loved the concept of the place. The interiors are comfy casual, sort of like an indoor "Picnic at the park" vibe and the servers were friendly. Coming to the food, we had the Minestrone Chicken Soup and Brown Onion Mutton Soup. Loved the chicken pasta soup! The mutton soup was decent but the chicken was definitely the winner of the two. The garlic bread that accompanied the soups tasted good as well. The food arrived a tad bit late but all things considered, would definitely go back again to try out more.
Its a small space and the stairs leading to the entrance is not recommended for elderly people.
We tried the southern seafood soup, brown onion mutton soup for starters. They tasted really good. The waiting time was a bit high and the garlic bread served was not upto the mark. We ordered two sandwiches: Grilled Tuna & SS double decker sandwich. Grilled tuna was good and fresh. Wish they had french fries instead of 'lays'. Yes you read it right. The SS double decker was good and filling.
The ambience is nice with lot of tiny details like bulbs and upside tea cups.
The seating is a bit congested and the table for two was not wide enough to keep all the food we ordered.
So overall a good experience and I will definitely recommend it to all.
Very friendly staff. The pasta was better than other places in Kochi. We also has chicken cream soup. Overall a good place, only a bit small is size for a restaurant.
I was looking to order from this place for quite sometime but couldn't find the right day. Today finally made up my mind and decided to try out for dinner. If I have to describe my review in one word it will be "Sumptuous ".
To start with I have to say the delivery was very prompt. The packaging was wonderful and I never expected this. I was thinking that I might have to get a few bowls out to do the serving but it was not at all required.
The Food taste was out of the world. We ordered for 2 soups a salad and a double decker sandwich. The portion was quite filling for 2 people. The pricing was also reasonable considering other stand alones.
I would like to personally thank the guys up there for the wonderful work and wish them to continue on like this.
Food: tried the 'SS Mashup Burger' & Chicken Burger, both of which were simply amazing! Their 'Blue Valentine' mocktail looks and tastes awesome. 'Mint lime' is not bad either. Garlic breads needed to be a little more buttery, though.
Ambience: separate entrance, small cosy place with 3-4 tables, B-W-gray & lightwood themed, well-lit, upscale looking place for families, friends and couples. Chairs felt slightly uncomfy after a while, though, but it's all good.
Service: Decent waiters, though it would have been perfect to have them in some kind of uniform. Wait was slightly longer than average, but the food and place made it worth it! It's not too expensive either! 1 soup, 2 huge burgers with 2 beverages was Rs. 760/-! Burger King charges that much for just 2 burgers! Definitely returning to try some other stuff here.
Great soups with authentic taste. Pastas were also awesome. A neat and tiny joint. Seating might be a constrain in rush hours
Good hospitality too...
Cozy place.. Warm n yummy food.. The grilled chicken salad and the soups are really a must try!. The spaghetti bolognese needed a bit more salt!. 😊😍
Awsome....... great soup have never had such good soup even have good salads and sandwiches I really loved it and i will visit again everyone must try.
Randomly found this place while i was passing by. Looked interesting, so i decided to give it a shot. Turned out to be pretty great.
Its a small place on the 1st floor of a building. The first thing I noticed when I stepped inside was the aroma from the kitchen. I got a taste of the place even before I ordered anything. It gave me a real good feeling about the food.
I had the Seafood Coconut soup which was yum n flavoursome. I also had the Chef's Special Grilled Chicken Salad which was also good. The chicken was nice n tender. The Mashup Chicken Burger was also real nice. The staff were courteous n friendly. Sadly I couldn't click any pictures but will definitely visit this place again.
Awesome! I was sick missing home n in need of hot yummy soup! Found the right place... Filled my stomach n my heart... Will surely go back to try other things in their menu
A tiny space which serves some amazing soup. My favorite is the Chicken Shorba in non veg and the roasted pumpkin soup in veg. Their garlic bread is pretty good. Same goes for the pastas and sandwiches.
Pro-tip - whatever you order, make sure you ask them what it tastes like. For eg, the spice levels in the chicken shorba is pretty high and their Alfredo pasta is a little bland. You might want to customize it to suit your palate.
Loved D shorba...loved the ambience..a nice place to crash upon in this cozy rainy season.........but couldn't try the pasta and burgers... Over all great place to hangout
Wow it was nice !!! The sea food soup and brown onion mutton soup was my fav !!! Enjoyed !!! Good staff !!! Nice ambience !!! Good music !! But not much space 😔
Wonderful place for soup n salad in Kochi. Vegetarian n non-veg soups good along with fresh salad. Garlic bread goes well with the combination.
The Soup shop is an unique restaurant with a large variety of hot n cold soups....grilled chkn n cheese sandwich is yummmyy... It is a small space with perfect ambiance and Excellent service.. It would be grt if there are sme add-ons lyk french fries etc
Surprised to have found this place! It's a small restocafe which is on the first floor. The steps that lead to it are as beautiful as the whole place.
Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and a sausage salad, both of which were mind blowing. So ya, would definitely visit.
Great joint for soups and more importantly salads. Variety of salads offered ,for good deals ,are incredible. Must visit place for salad lovers.
Brilliant place. Such a fresh whiff of air to the healthy eaters of Cochin. The mushroom coconut soup is brilliant. The sandwich was amazing. One of the best vegetarian sandwiches I have eaten in my life. The ambience is great. It's one of those cosy places you don't want to leave on a lazy afternoon. Great place. Must visit. If you are on a diet, this is the place for you.
Nice place. We had gone for lunch but I think the ambience would be amazing for dinner. Though it's quite a small place, a fleet of stairs with refreshing lush green creepers feels warm and welcoming. Food is awesome.. soups were hot and tasty and served in a good quantity. The sausages, salads, sandwiches wer all awesome.
Like another reviewer said - if you discount the steep stairs, it's well worth the trip.
I had roasted tomato soup and club sandwich- both were delicious. Others at the table had coconut mushroom soup and broccoli soup - tasted yummy 😋
Visited Soup shop yesterday.... loved it...
The moment I tasted the garlic bread I had an expectation and they simply nailed it with Southern seafood soup and minestrone soup... will visit again soon
Well i am not a big fan of soups but I like this place for many reasons like the ambience, staffs, service and obviously the soups. Soups are bit over priced but they are generous in quantity. Anyways try out when you get a chance
Nice concept soups along with salad good options and one soup will fill your tummy.had pumpkin soup and tender coconut soup both were thick soups and served with two spices for of garlic bread on side.We also had pasta and couple of drinks both were ok .
Taste 8/10
Ambiance 8/10
Service 8/10
Value for money 8/10
This place was "bookmarked" for quite a some time and finally, before the close of the year, we tried the Soup Shop.
It's a cute and cozy place. Limited seating, minimal yet classy decor and wonderful music!
Ordered a portion of brown onion mutton soup and a grilled chicken sandwich.
The aroma and taste of caramelized onions in mutton soup was too good! Quantity was enough for both of us.
Sandwich was good. Just like any normal type.
I felt they could expand the menu a lil more. A speciality restaurant could have more choices, I think.
On the whole, it was a good experience. Do try it!
Nice place!!!
Have variety of soups in menu!!!
Ambience also is nice!!!
Tastes wise its really good and have sufficient quantity also!!!
Space is less that is the only negative about the place. It will be good if they expand!!!
Must try place if you are a soup lover!!!
Highly recommended!!!
Soup shop!! Though I had been reading a lot of good reviews about the place I could visit the place only recently. I regret delaying my visit to this place so much. A small but well done shop that has different verities of soups and salads...
The soups are served hot in large bowl making you almost full on completion of one soup.. the quantity is good enough for two persons. Tried minestrone chicken soup, broccoli soup, sweet corn soups... All were really tasty.
They serve really tasty salads as well which are full of fresh veggies.. lettuse fig salad with cottage cheese, chicken and pasta salad, vegge crudités were all filling and tasty.
They also have sandwiches, burgers and wraps. The cresent chicken wrap and mashup burger are must tries.
All together a good place in Kochi for having a healthy soup and salad meal!
A good hangout for soup lovers . Located right at the heart of the city. i ordered shorba and tht was decently made and spicy [ just as i asked].
Increase the variety of spicy soups on offer and this will become a perfect place.
Service - 4/5
Food - 3.5/5
Ambience 3.5/5
Value for money - 3/5.
Soup shop as the name suggests has variety of soups to its menu. Tried chicken corn soup which ws creamy and great. Tried chef special chicken grilled salad which ws actually fresh and great . Chicken Crescent wrap and the salsa rosa pasta ( even though highly Indianised )was actually one of the best we had in Kochi. The only drawback for the place being it is a small joint , if you r in with a big group will feel congested . Must try place for soup and pasta lovers ...
Good place, had a salad and soup from here. Liked the salad more than the soup though. The place is pretty small but decent and good ambience too. Service was good.
This is a running review , written across the time l spent at this place.
4 tables, (6 + 4 + 4 + 4 ) 14 chair and a bar which seats four lone seaters. The arrangement is an impressive bright and woody interiors with comfortable air conditioning.
Well , i asked them " this is my first time here so tell me what should I try " , I got a bland bearded smile with a Luke warm effort pointing to the pages on the menu. He gave me smiles and frowns when I pointed to my options on the menu but at last his explanations gave me a good gastronomic sense of the plate I was asking for.
Garlic bread , shaken but not stirred that's the first thing they serve you once u spend 10 minutes after the order.
Minute 15 - my table was served the first bowl of soup , here we go the 15 minute wait seems worth of the taste he draped my order when he took it.
Minute 20 - the second bowl arrives , corn and chicken - again it worthy and has a clear taste , my mom administered some spice on it and she say it sprang back to life , but I tasted it before and felt it was just perfect. The perfect temperature and flavour .
Minutes 30 - my order is still on the warmer ,
twist of plans, I came here for main course. Threw a few more orders at them, lets see if they stumble or cry.
Minute 45 - sandwiches and spaghetti makes thier entry. Guest appearance made by salad .
I tasted the salads and spaghetti, expressions of excellance swam as cross my ugly face.
Then the sandwiches , brilliant.
Its now time for me to enjoy the food. For a kochi dweller seeking new joints and good food from this land , this joint is going to stand up. These guys seem good at heart and have the enthusiasm to live it up.
All the best guys ,

Ambience- good
Space- only 5 tables ,max 20-25 seats, on weekends, better reserve n go.
Time taken to serve - around 20 minutes (improvent needed)
About soups- had 4 of them.
1.Brown onion Mutton - normal, nothing spl.
2. Chicken shorba - didnt find anything spl ,but it's on the sour side
3. Minestrone chicken- this one is something spl.
4. Tom yung chicken- good but the same ll get from chinese restaurants.
Salads- had 2 of them
1. Chefs special grilled chicken- chicken pieces were less when compared to lettuce that they used to garnish the salad. About 80% of the bowl filled with lettuce but it tasted very good
2. Chicken kuchumber- almost all the vegetables that we used in salads were present. And it's also good but not better than chef's special grilled.
A sudden craving for soup at night and this was the closest place I could find.
The name sure was tempting ,Lot of varieties to choose from. Soup and salad was nice.
Very nice ambience and Good service too. Recommended for sure !
A small place with some good ambience and people. Tried their creme of chicken soup and a Thai soup. Thai soup is avoidable, tasted very bad. Creme of chicken on the other hand was pretty good. Then ordered Pasta, a burger (meat and chicken mix). Pasta wasn't that good, kind of ok-ok but the burger was huge, tasty and juicy. Loved it. As for desserts we ordered an ice cream brownie and a blue lemonade. Both of 'em were good. Brownie was so big and hard with one scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. I felt the prices to be a bit high.
Really very nice concept of a soup shop, especially for the people like me who really love soups and salads,i had been there for a couple of times only in the 3 weeks since I have shifted to kochi, but this place has been a savior for me. Amazing experience to start with the wooden steps, wooden floor and ambience, it's not a very big place, but a nice, neat cozy place to sit and chitchat. Coming to food, I have tried few things, out of which broccoli soup, pesto pasta, chicken cucumber salad, sprouts pomegranate salad are really awesome, definitely recommended. One more thing is these people have a good taste of music also. so definitely you will hear some good music. Just one thing I feel the garlic bread can be better. Staff is very friendly. Service is prompt. Many things to try and I will definitely visit again and again to try other things here, thumbs up from me!
Soups are appetizers. They induce crave, and hunger for the meal we are in. But what if you land in a place of soul satisfying Soups Joint ? Well it becomes a history that follows :
While trying to chew time , I kept roaming around the city and passing by I applied brake on this Name Board. Getting to it was a uphill task quite literally.
Beautifully planned wooden steps and couple of turns will lead your slightly elevated heart rate ;) to the Kochi's One and Only "The Soup Shop".
Contemporary and low light ambience greets you in. As a solo Rider entering the joint at 5 in the evening I find myself getting company from the owner himself with a pleasant smile. Making myself comfortable near to a French like window on a high chair , I could see the open kitchen and some beautiful aesthetics above the counter which makes a nice view . The artistic work of wood was all around which includes the floor as well.
The Concept of an Exclusive Appetizers only outlet does make one feel wow. And same pinch for the writer as well, so out of eagerness I asked the creator himself and he had an unanimous reply. Impressive enough to make me request him to recommend a Soup for me from the list which itself is so yummy to read.
The Dish I ordered by him was Corn and Chicken Chowder Soup. Served with Garlic bread, it made my evening . Quantity was good enough to make oneself feel fuller till the dinner . As they named it , so was when I tasted it. Thick and Fluidic. Chunks of chicken and corn in every scoop that swam through the bowl. Love for Soup Bowled me all over again.
Pricing is Pocket friendly Hygiene as good as it can be. Hope they continue the momentum in the days to come as they are revamping the Menu with more bullets of choices.
And Don't go by the name itself , it has enough for everyone to offer to make a good-evening-gossips sessions with choices of Burgers , Steaks, Salads and sort of alikes. Enjoyed it.
Recommended. It's worth climb ! ;) :D
Wow... Nice idea of having an exclusive soup shop. It's a tiny restaurant exclusively for Soup, Salads and Sandwiches. The step to the first floor is adventurous but it's really worth. The service is very prompt and staffs are friendly. I liked the mutton soup and tuna sandwich ordered and was not so costly.
A must visit place...

Good Taste
Pastas are also good
Had a Beef Burger 🍔. It was Ok
My dad ordered a
Egg 🍳 and Cheese 🧀 Sandwich
He loved it and ordered for another one ☝️.
This place was on my list for quite some time and I finally made it.The place welcomes you with a beautiful flight of stairs and that somehow creates a great vibe.
Interiors are interesting the place is small but has been well spaced and comfortable.menu is well designed I ordered the seafood soup which was perfect in terms of the amount of seafood and not overloaded.
Sprout and pomegranate salad was perfect in terms of portion and taste.
Looking forward to trying rest of the menu
A late night stroll in Kochi opens up a lot of options and The Soup Shop is one such café I stumbled upon in the Kaloor-Kadavanthara stretch. A staircase lined up with plants on either side gives it a distinct charm rarely seen in Kochi. The café was still in its infancy and thus the menu was not elaborate as one might expect. Nevertheless, I ordered the Chicken Shorba Soup, Country Open Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Salad, and the Chocolate Brownie. The Soup was clear and well seasoned, but the quantity of chicken could've been more and the accompanying garlic bread was plain disappointing. The Country Open Chicken Sandwich turned out to be a Bruschetta but one worth recommending for the crunchy bread, smoky chicken and generous amounts of cheese it brought to the table. Moving on, I'm not a big fan of Salads to be honest but the Grilled Chicken Salad impressed me as the veggies had a crackling tanginess to it whilst being complemented well by the finely cut pieces of chicken which was pan friend using olive oil. The heavy meal was finished off with a Chocolate Brownie that could've been more rich considering the price paid. All in all, a good visit if you don't mind driving through the pothole filled roads of Kochi to reach an upcoming continental café that has immense potential. Cheers!
Refreshing and innovative. Located conveniently on KK road. A very good place for healthy snack out or even a meal out with family and friends. The ambience is sleek and service is courteous. Checkout their special sandwiches.
The Soup Shop!
A place worth finding and savoring!
Saw it on zomato today evening.. with an array of selection of soups and salads which looked fairly promising to the foodie in me.. so headed there all by myself..
Small place with minimalistic yet tasteful decor..
Asked for the chef's recommendation for a soup and salad and as advised went ahead to order a minestrone soup n a pasta salad
Soup arrived first with the customary garlic bread... and it was a culinary delight... not just the run of the mill thick soup.. but instead an amalgamation of veggies with uplifting aroma and that eclectic mix of flavors that hit me as i gulped in the first spoon..in my hurry i forgot it was piping hot.. so that effect still remains.. 😉
The serving of soup was so much for me that i got my salad packed as a takeaway.. savored it at home in front of my idiot box... though it cud not usurp the soup yet it was a nicely made with all the veggies, pasta and white sauce..
The only downside was the time it took me to find the place.. coz just cud not locate the signboard.. but am i glad that i did..
Definitely planning another trip to try the rest of the menu..
Simply amazing place for soups! Recently happened to accidentally stumble upon this place whereupon I decided to have a healthy dinner there. Ordered the Southern Seafood Soup and the Chef s Special Grilled Chicken Salad. Must say.. in terms of flavor was absolutely blown away. The soup had a nice, slightly creamy (though not overwhelmingly creamy) texture to it and the salad was light and filling. Never felt this good after having food outside in Kochi thus far. Definitely a recommended joint. A must try for every Kochiite! Am definitely going back whenever I am in town and I get an opportunity! Keep it up fellas!
I am giving this place the highest rating that I give for taste alone which is a 3.5
I had a soup and a beef burger and both tasted great. I'd have preferred a burger without Jalapeño but that's just my personal preference.
I thought the #SoupShop was baad. But when I went there and I drank the soup called "ChickenShorba" which was extremely delicious. The ambiance of the hotel is #Superb. Also suggested to my friends
Feel nice that there are places which provide such great soups :)
Even the pasta here is pretty nice
The location of the restaurant is also nice
Overall thumps up :D
If your craving for hot and fresh soup, then head here to enjoy a variety of soups. The menu includes the Continental, Asian, and traditional Indian soups as well. The soup coming along with garlic bread which are crispy and go well with the soup. We had the mushroom and the seafood soup, which were both very well prepared. The ambience and the overall look of the restaurant is also very commendable. A novel and wonderful joint indeed.
One of my favorite weekend dinner spots in Kochi. Best soups, Good salads and nice ambiance. Taste that directly goes to heart. Definitely recommended
Best place in town to taste really good varieties of soups.. 😁 really appreciate the ambience . Arranged in the first floor. Tried tomato and chicken soups.. they were good.. but the tangy tastes of tomato was highlighted in all soups.. burger was average. Garlic breads along side soup is a gud combination. Less parking facilities. You can manage the parking by the road side
A cozy restocafe serving awesome soups and salads.
Nice ambience, great service and really good soups.
I would recommend the following soups/salads based on my visits here.
1. Seafood chowder soup
2. Chicken chowder soup
3. Chicken and pasta cocktail salad.
Also the garlic breads served are also real nice.
If you want a good quality soup and do care about your surroundings/service, this place is for you. Absolutely loved the Soup Shop!!! Wide variety of soups to choose from. Excellent service with courteous and friendly staff. All the soups are so delicious and fresh! Give it a try and enjoy. Simply the best place for soups in town. Highly recommended !!!
Best place in Cochin for soups, salads and pastas. Highly recommended.
For pasta lovers: You must try their salsa rossa pasta..
For soup guys: Your should try their chicken choudher soup and chicken minestrone soup..
Have a wonderful soup time guys.
Treat your tastebuds with varying flavours in this restaurant. Dont forget to try the pumpkin soup and pasta with Alfredo sauce. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Gingerbread is yummy. We went overboard with the spicy grilled chicken tikka salad(try something else).loved the cranberry mojito over the ice blue one. Check the shop timings before visiting. We found the place closed on Saturday 5 pm but was lucky to find the shop open on 6:30 pm the next day. Would definitely visit this place again.
I've heard and seen this soup shop on the way multiple times, but never got a chance to visit, but I did visit today and tried the Popeye's Soup. The soup was a mixture of spinach , eggs and green peas. I liked the combination and moreover spinach is my favorite veggie and it's definitely healthy. 2 garlic bread piece were also served along with the soup and it was nice too.
There are wide variety of soups, salads, burgers, steaks etc to choose, I gotta try something different next time 😋
Loved the ambience, and no doubt as in the name itself , soups r lit. The sandwiches, salads and burgers provide are nice 4 a speedy hunger quest.
Great place to be.. Very yummy soups.. We have tried 3 different flavors and salad and burger.. All were awesome...
Dont be under the misconcrption that soups will be light food, they are surely a full meal.. (atleast for us)...
A place that has never disappointed me on the menu....the taste....the ambience and the wonderful music.
Everytime I've been here I've tried different things and everytime I've just loved it.
So this time it was #muttonsoup with #caramalizedonions, the usual #garlicbread which I never miss, #chickenpastasalad along with #macaronis
It's simply delicious.
An interesting little restaurant with a good menu. Excellent service and great tasting food. Recommend this place for a tasty meal of soup and/or salad.
Fresh soups, crunchy salads and wholesome sandwiches. Place offering the perfect alternative good food to the masala od elsewhere.
We ordered Mushroom corn shop, Minestrone veg soup, salsa sauce with mushroom pasta and mushroom Alfredo sauce pasta... The mushroom soup and salsa mushroom pasta was awesome..others were not bad. However we like Lil spicy more.
They have the best varieties of soup :) I was hesitant to try their burger and sandwiche but they turned out to be quite good too.
A cosy little place you can hang out at.
With increased space and the kitchen being moved to a separate area, the ambience is much improved and more seating available. Food as usual is good.
I LOVE their soups.this s my fifth time here .i ordered a minestrone chkn soup today . Was pretty good , but the taste of tomatoes were bit highlighted. Have enough in quantity for 1/2. And decent prices too.
Good ambience. Nice food. Had Pot soup and fish steak from here. Must try these dishes. Fish steak was really yummy. And they have got variety of salads and soups. A must visit restaurant in Kaloor.
