I visited this place in March 2019 and had craving to have something.
Being north Indian in Kerala makes you miss North Indian food very soon. This place does not disappoint me. It was running in full house even at 11pm. I enjoyed butter naan, kadhai paneer and egg masala. everything was so delicious. i didn't liked the falooda though, it was very enticing in appearance but the taste was not upto the mark.
Would like to visit that place again in future.

Both of them were really delicious and perfectly made and presented with adequate quantity to fill at affordable price

We landed really late and were super hungry and hunting for good places to dine in. To our rescue We came across “Mallu’s Dhaba which is a Saviour. The taste of the food will actually make you lick your fingers and thats what we did. I am from Mumbai and we really wanted that kind of YUMMYYY FOOD. The staff is so down to earth, they helped us in selecting basic but mouth watering dished and served us well. The best part is the price is reasonable it wouldn’t burn a hole in your pocket. Perhaps one of the most underrated restaurants in Kochi. The location is brilliant and the food is literally one of the best you can have in Kochi. And the best part - it's soo inexpensive! 7 people can dine to their full under a thousand five hundred rupees!

A wonderful cuisine filled with North Indian dishes. Their mutton dish and chicken tandoori is Mouthwatering ! It has very less parking space but can accommodate any large group !
Dhaba's are known to be pocket friendly and this place also falls under the same category. I tend to visit them whenever I'm in the edappally area. I love their Creme of Tomato soup. It's just 40/- bucks and damn tasty. I also recommend trying out their tandoori chicken :)

I loveeeeee North Indian cuisine a lottttt. The way they prepare by adding lots and lots of butter and ghee I just love it. That love made me visit Mallus Dhaba which is located at one of the major part of Kochi city ie; near Lulu Mall Edapally. Trust me when I say this the food is just awsm. Their butter chicken and butter nan just melts in our mouth. Its always very crowded and no wonder why it is coz why would we let go of a chance to eat delicious food at cheap cost. Its just awsm 👍

One of the best Punjabi food places in town after Sethi Da Dhaba. An affordable place serving super tasty food with good portion size. Been a fan of theirs since first visit.
Frequents this place with groups. Two of us(with huge appetite) had a full tummy at a sub ₹500 bill. That puts things in place I guess. Always on my list of recommended places.

I had been hearing rave reviews about the place ever since it opened. Soon enough I tried it and it did not disappoint.
Located right next to Lulu Mall, on the highway in the direction towards Paravoor, this place is by the roadside, though you need to keep an eye out as it is easy to miss among the number of eateries crowding the area.
At the outset, it is not a 'dhaba' in the real sense of the term, but is just a fancy name the restaurant has tagged itself. The restaurant is spacious and has a large seating capacity, however it does not have air conditioned area. The first thing you will notice is the large number of staff, clad in red and green tshirts, indicating the servers and cleaners.
The food at Mallus Dhaba is worth the hype. This is by far one of the best places for North Indian food, even though not entirely authentic North Indian; at least it is not the crap that most other restaurants serve in the name of North Indian cuisine. They also have a big variety in the curries and breads. The second best part is that the quantity of the dishes is huge, so ordering one curry can suffice two people, though you would be better off ordering one more. The curries taste absolutely delicious, and you will forget the number of breads you eat along with it! This is one place where I have found the Dal Tadka to be the best in Kochi!! It is simply heavenly!!! The next best part is the pricing. Each of the dishes are absolutely reasonably priced, almost cheap, when compared to almost all other restaurants, considering the quality and quantity.
If there is something that is amiss, it is the service, which is slow. I have been there umpteen number of times and each time I have had to wait to even get the menu. And then, after ordering as well, it takes a really long time for the food to arrive. Same as with the bill. With such a large number of staff, one wonders why the service is so slow.
I still recommend the place and continue to visit it often. It is a go-to place, specially when I want to eat spicy. It is, however, quick to arrive when you order it online.

Visited this place for a quick lunch with my friends very recently. It’s quiet easy on the pockets and has plenty of seats available. We ordered Butter Naan, Butter Chicken, Pepper Chicken and Chicken Tikka.
The Butter Naan was light and really tasty. Out of the chicken dishes, the Pepper Chicken really stood out. It had the right blend of pepper with other spices and went well with the Butter Naan. The Chicken Tikka was really tasty as well. One dish which could have improved was the Butter Chicken.
The food was really tasty and didn’t cost us much. One thing they need to improve is their service but the restaurant was pretty crowded so they might be doing the best they can. Overall the restaurant does offer really tasty food and would visit here again.

We had ordered Aloo Parathas, Chicken gravy (don’t remember its name, though), Garlic naan, and Tandoori chicken.
Its a small place that delights you with the tasty delicacies.
Easily one of the most economical places in Edapally. We had the meals and a chicken biryani. Just for 170 bucks. Another time we ordered Naan, kulcha and another dish, can't exactly remember what now, but the bill came up to 160 or so. Now you'd be thinking that the amount and taste will be less for such rates, but nope! It's definitely filling and tasty! I highly recommended this place. Parking for cars may be a bit of an issue depending on the customers.

In the growing food scene in kochi, a place that is leaving its mark is Mallus Dhaba. I heard about this place quite a while back and how they serve good portions for relatively cheap prices, so I wasn't sure as to how good the food would taste. Having ate here a couple of days ago I can say that one definitely does get one's moneys worth and the food is pretty good as well, it isn't amazing, but considering how much you pay and how much you get, it's good and by no means bad.
Mallus Dhaba also has a decent ambience. I was expecting it to be quite untidy but its a well maintained restaurant and one also has options apart from Indian food.
I had the mutton rogan josh, paneer paratha, butter naan, butter kulcha and paneer butter masala and I have to say I was surprised at how much actual mutton there was in the rogan josh considering that it costs only Rs. 110

Had been Der a few days back..a pocket friendly restaurant wid all kinds of North Indian nd Punjabi dishes..we ordered chikn nd veg fried rice..tandoori chikn mushroom manchurian rotti nan squid roast butter chicken and lime juice..we were 8 ..and the total bill was 740 ..and found it very reasonable ..and the food was tasty too.. quantity was also decent.the staffs were very quick nd kind...the only negative I found Der ,was lack of parking area..

This is one of the most economical places around Edappally to have a hearty and tasty meal. We dropped by for a late dinner last night and ordered the Butter Naan, Garlic Naan, Pepper Chicken Dry and Chicken Tikka Masala. The Naans were soft and flavourful, the Tikka Masala was rich and creamy, and the Pepper Chicken was spicy and delicious. The portions were more than adequate and service was pretty fast. We also had Fresh Lime Juice which was tasty and refreshing. All this for just 290 bucks. Crazy affordable without compromise on taste. The place is quite large with seating on both sides and open to the street. It’s not exactly an eye-catching space but that doesn’t matter as it is spacious and quite clean. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly as well. Will surely drop by again.
Affordable price - Good food - ambience is not so fancy. The quantity they serve is not bad. The traditional big thaalam type steel plates are intersting. A good place for tasty food when u need small bills while having a hungry tummy.

It's easy on pocket too. They do take sometime while ordering at the hotel. While for delivery they take an hour or so . But it's worth to give it a try many times there. Taste is also good. I like the dhal fry.

Food is tasty. Try the North indian dishes . Decent place and good food but their tastes are said to be best in Non Vegetarian dishes. As I'm a Veggie we had few dishes and they were Good. Dont Expect much in Veg dishes with North Indian dishes, but they are good. Gobi Manchurian (dry) was great.
If you are one of those guys who would like to get cheap and best North Indian dishes this the place to visit after having kebab, mutton Khorma,chicken 65 and Aloo paratha and butter naan I was shocked to see such low bill of just 315Rs and believe me that the quantity was not at all a problem.

I really loved the food. It tasted so well. Their Butter Chicken is perhaps one of the best I’ve had. The Rotis are crisp. The Fried Rice soft and tasty.
We had their Garlic Naan’s, Butter Naan’s and Rotis.
A plate of Butter Chicken costs 90/-, more than sufficient for two average adults. Egg Fried Rice costs 70/- and the menu is at par with very reasonably prices. There is no compromise over quality.
I’d recommend you have their Butter Chicken - Garlic Naan combination. It is worth it.
The staff and service is good. The place is neat, if not a bit hot. There are quite a few number of tables, yet the place is bustling with crowd, hence expect a wait during peak hours. Plus, this place is open late til night.
