I baught Masala Dosa from here. Nice taste. Sambar is very tasty. I liked it very much. I am requesting veg customers to buy from this restaurant.
Vasanth vihar ur breakfast was not good
today , puttu no moist in flour -half cooked , chickpeas also the same -no salt also , & the medu vada was too salty cudnt finish a bite !
Ginger lime was gud anyway.
ghee masala dosa with a variety of side dish. Packing was good .Delivered as promised. Good for quick bite in the evening.Enjoyed every bit
Great food. Love the quality as well as the quantity. When I ordered online, the packing is so well done , so much effort has gone into it. This is a must try place.
Poori masala is my favorite at this restaurant, although occasionally used to eat Chapathi set and Uthappams, Onion Uthappams being the favourite. The service is good and evening snacks available which are mouth watering.
Normal ambience.Prefer for pure veg food. Serves normal n mineral water. Typical veg meals of mix kerala n tamil nadu style. Serves hot and medium tasty food
This little restaurant is my choice to bring me my breakfast when i miss it at hostel! They deliver you good vegitarian food no matter how small amount you order. They are fast as well. Loved their pongal rice with ghee, and poori masala.
This is the place I ring up when I need breakfast delivered at hostel 😅
Nothing great about food but their service is remarkable. However less the amount is, they will make the deliver no matter what.
Value for money. Fresh n pure veg food. Different chatuneys n vegetables with rice. The three vegetables which are served on banana leaf will give the true taste of spices of Kochi and why Kerela is state of spices. Roties are additional which can be ordered by any other north indian for support. The serving staff keep a vigil on your banana leaf so you dont have to turn and ask anything. Overall good location, excellent food.
A small restaurant pure veg.
Food is really good tasty
clean place friendly staff and cheap price
Seems like recently renovated so sanitation has improved.
I ordered poori masala and black coffee with 2 extra poori the food was good not too much oil
the coffee was really good
Vada was ok
Went again last month and tried gee roast and loved it
The coconut chutney was the best i have ever had in a restaurant
One of the beat restaurants that I've visited . They have great food , less expensive and have great customer service . Its sanitation is well is poor , below average actually. Id give them a 4 out of 10 for sanitation but for there food and customer service I'd give them 9 out of 10
As a food lover ,I enjoyed the Chappati, porotta, dosa, chaya, vada and curries..with reasonableprice...it was classic Quality food . I had dinner there. There was too much crowded and had wait of about
10 -15 mint. The staffs are too helpful . There will not be much ambience as others. But food was good.
There are regular hotels that also serve vegetarian dishes along with non-vegetarian ones, then there are vegetarian hotels that serve only vegetarian food and THEN there are 'pure vegetarian' hotels. The 'pure vegetarian' hotels are a whole package..This Vasantha Vihar hotel is a typical example of Pure Vegetarian Hotels.
Vasantha Vihar has them all! Large portriats of Hindu gods and goddesses, ornate with flower garlands (insert fresh flowers, not the plastic faketard ones). All staffs including the cashier, attendants and cooks (bonus points if they speak Tamil) will look clean and adorn their foreheads with at least with one line of sandalwood paste or vibhooti tika. A large display counter loaded with South Indian Sweets. Food served on plantain leaves. And, most importantly, the aroma..the aroma of inscence sticks blended with the fragrance of pure cow ghee! (a kitchen that has, at any point of time cooked non veg dishes will never attain this aroma)
This pure veg feeling transcends well into the dishes as well. I had a Masala Dosa, a strong coffee and a Kesari and all of them felt really delicious. The dude serving was always attentive and smiling. Upon asking what a particular chutney was, he rushed back to the chef and came back to narrate the entire list of ingredients.
Well, Vasantha Vihar has its share of downsides too. First of all even though it is adjacent to a parking lot, that is reserved for some other business and not the hotel. So, no parking available. Second they seriously need to play their aesthetic game better, for the quality food they deliver is dishonoured by the sub par lighting, seating and interior decoration.
Overall, if you are looking for a trustworthy vegetarian restaurant in the area, do give Vasantha Vihar a shot. Give it quick or you will run out of seats because this place can seat only around 30 people at a time.
All the best Vasantha Vihar!
A Very Nice Restaurent in Eranakulam Situated at MG road. I had my supper at this restaurent on the last week. Nice atmosphere, good food and good staffs too .Serves fastly.Neetly maintained place and tables The one and only problem i felt here is that they are wasting a lot of water at hand wash corner by setting huge taps in zinc.Over all i had a nice experience.
A good Veg restaurant in the heart of the city. Tasty food . Space constraints are there. We can have good food from there. The ambience is not that great .. service is quick.. i tried masala dosa and idly. Both were good. I felt they can improve the lighting in the rooms to improve the ambience.
One of the best restaurant in MG Road. Staff are polite and friendly, speaks tamil & malayalam. Unlimited lunch with yummy curries. Paneer Butter Masala with Chapathi is my fav. dinner.
Weekends are bit crowded but its worth the wait.
I'd highly recommend this restaurant.
Class vegetarian 🤤. Must visit if you love pure vegetarian foods. Recommended for families and all groups of people. They have only seven to eight four-seater tables but almost full every time. Tried Ghee Roast, Sambar Vada, Halwa and Peda. Really tasty. Very good service offered by staff, fast service as well.
Good place for vegetarian food. Don’t expect wow ambience, it’s very minimal. But food and service is good. I had their unlimited vegetarian meal thali for lunch. It’s a filling meal at a very competitive pricing. Will return again to try out other items here.
Had Ghee roast and Boori masala. Food was very tasty. Best Masala dosa in Kochi. But, no space, only few seats. Parking space also limited. Hygiene need to be improved
Had some good Kerala meals after a long time.
Atmosphere given less stars as it is congested and parking is almost nil.
Lovely restaurant with warm friendly service from Anant. All the favourites from Kerala cuisine served for a great price 😋
This place is a literally hidden from the main road, but thanks to the big signage it's not very diffcult to find.
Serves vegetarian food including Kerala style meals. The food is excellent and service is good. The ambience is typical of quick-bite places.
Service and food was good but the cost is somewhat high.
I ate spcl veg biriyani from there, biriyani was delicious with enough quantity and affordable price .
The staffs and ambiance inside is also good
Very nice experience. Served by Mr.Bikram Raghi Roast. Exceptional service by Bikram. Liked the place.
True vegetarian hotel in kochi.Authentic South Indian taste
