One of oldest restaurant in KOCHI near to St ALBERTs college by Pharmacy Junction Banerjee Road Ekm..... (MG Road....nearest metro station).....I have been to several Chinese restaurant in this town....but Chiyang is different....loves it's ambiance taste and quality. All at affordable rates. If you go by weekend evenings...see the crowd from age 5 to 55....all enjoying with lovely food served. Don't confuse what to order....they helps to make order.... especially for a first time visitor. Nice restaurant at affordable cost. (Hope they will open a branch at Vytilla or Thykoodam METRO station)..... simply I love their service.

How ever busy I am , I will be eating from chiyang ... that taste .. ufff ....I will tell the menu I eat every time .. to start with sweet corn chicken soup ... (which is having thick consistency ) unlike others ... and main course - mixed fried rice , sweet and sour pork and chilli chicken ... a must try is the American chopsuey - mixed ... m drooling .... always busy .. and it’s always better to go to the upstair restaurant than the below . Name a few good chinese restaurants in Kochi? Yeah! Chiyang will be in the list for sure. Had Mixed Fried Rice with chicken, pork and schezwan chicken. The chicken and pork in the fried rice is in good proportions; not one part dominating, which is pretty good! Schezwan Chicken was spicy and tastes really well! The other plus point is the quantity! A full portion of fried rice, noodles or side dishes is completely filling for two people. Good service and neat ambience.
You can get Asian food at plenty of places in town. But this place has the most generous portions and the best servings of pork. I've tried all the pork dishes and the must haves in my opinion are the Special Chilly pork, the Honey and Pepper pork and the Garlic pork. Bring a friend because none of the dishes are meant for one person.

Great place for Chinese takeaway. Its my goto place in Cochin for Chilly Pork dry called “Special Chilly Pork”. Another dish we tried was Dragon Chicken which was also excellent.

It is one of the very good Chinese foods at Ernakulam. They have a good ambiance and well-mannered service staff. Parking was a bit difficult as it is located right beside the highway. Chicken Schezwan Fried Rice was too good to try. Quantity is also a lot to have for 2 normal guys.. loved the food and ambiance.

Had a nice lunch time there. Ordered their chiyang special mixed noodles (pork & chicken) with Dragon Beef. One full noodle had enough portions for 2 persons and 1 half dragon beef is more than enough for 2 and is a little bit spicy but I really liked the taste. I went to their Kacheripady branch. The exterior is just like a typical Chinese building and the interior is pretty much spaced. But it is usually packed. We waited for quite some time to dine in. The atmosphere was too busy and filled with people rushing here and there. But all those got compensated with their food. We ordered a pork and prawns noodles and chicken & pork noodles. Both were simply awesome and the best ever noodles I've ever tried out since they kept that authentic touch as well as the quality of the ingredients used was also the best. Pork & prawns was my personal favorite. The portion size of one noodles was also sufficient for two average people. So if you wanna have some real Chinese dishes, Chiyang is one of the best options out there.

You can visit here with family or friends. The food is good and served piping hot, the service is a bit slow, but the staff are helpful and friendly. Their chicken lollipop is a must try dish here. They have a vast variety of seafood, chicken, beef and pork dishes and also have a good variety in vegetarian option too.
