It opens until late at night. It has exceptionally good food!
Very friendly staff; this is one of the best restaurants I've been to in Cochin. Value for money, and lots of variety in delicious food I can pick from. I ordered fish mango, fish pollichathu (this one was extremely tasty; I wanted more but unfortunately it was out of stock!), biryani, and pathiri.
The location was perfectly tucked into the city.
Ifthar Restaurant at Edappally Toll is a culinary gem! The 100% Malabar food served here is of extraordinary quality, truly a delight for the taste buds. As the main branch of the Ifthar group, it stands out for its authenticity and commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience. The flavors are rich, the ambiance is inviting, and the staff is attentive. If you're a fan of Malabar cuisine, this is a must-visit destination. Five stars for consistently delivering top-notch quality and taste!
I must say, their biriyani truly lives up to its famous reputation. My experience at Ifthar was nothing short of exceptional. The biriyani was not only delicious but also heartwarming, exceeding my expectations.
The standout dish was undoubtedly their biriyani. It was perfectly seasoned, with a delightful blend of spices and tender pieces of meat that melted in my mouth. The aroma alone was enough to make my mouth water, and the flavors were simply exquisite. If you're a biriyani lover, this place is a must-visit.
However, my experience with the pineapple juice was not as satisfying. I had high expectations for it, but it didn't quite meet them.
Ifthar in Edappally is a biriyani haven with flavors that will leave you craving more
their biriyani is the star of the show, Be prepared for crowds and limited parking, but don't let that deter you from experiencing their delicious biriyani.
I used to get parcel from ifthar and it was truly a delightful experience. They had some variety of non veg items , way little spicy
The tea counter & tea is good , the hotel is bit tightly occupied . They have good taste , poratta was awesome , biriyani also good. Snacks also available, arabic dishes also good , i can only day some items are awsome

Cafetería style atmosphere. Display counter helps with identifying what can catch your fancy. Selection of chicken and beef is descent. Service staff very helpful.
We ordered shawarma ,ney pathiri and fish curry .Every dish was of top quality and really delicious.
A special thanks to Mr Rajeev ,who was very attentive and very professional not only to us but to everyone
I've tried the chicken biriyani, the grill and the kabsa. The grill was such a value for money dish. The flavours weren't unique but nevertheless it was very well cooked and flavourful. The biriyani was an average good biriyani. The kasba there is amazing and I'd recommend the kabsa the most for first timers.

Family dining place.
The crowd is mostly family crowd.
Its located on the highway and near the famous lulu mall.
It is well maintained and has a friendly environment.
Evening Kerala Snacks has it all you name.
Banana Fry and Tea is the best to try in Iftar.
Don’t leave Cochin without visiting iftar, because it adds memory of Kerala in your tour.
The food is awesome. Service is slow. We can have the authentic taste of malabar food in here. Almost all varieties of malabar is been served. Management is awesome in bringing the right cooks for preparing their fine food.
Some dishes were kind of priced too much for no reason 👎. For example, a dish named pocket chicken costs 170 rs which consists of just four pieces in it.
Can have an occasional visit here to taste authentic Kerala aka malabar food. Their Kabsa and beef varieties are a must try.
Overall fine dining !!
