Lovely initiative, have had from both your outlets, loved the ambience, staff and everything here. Hats off. Love you guys.
And yes, parking is also a huge + in this area. Tension free meal time guys. Must Visit
One of the juiciest and flavorful grilled chicken i have had in cochin., the bread served on the side is nice too.
Sad that they didn't have anything in beef
The food's worth the price. Pizzas are average and it's pretty cheap too. Been here a couple of times and recently, they have introduced a platter which serves the mixture of Arabian varieties. You should try that and also try their cheese fatayer. It's great too.
I had a mixed platter from this place, that consisted of one piece of grilled chicken, mutton kebab, and beef kebab. It was served with Roti, garlic paste and fries. The beef and the mutton was good. I did not like the chicken that much. But overall it was nice and price too was quite reasonable.
One of the most elaborately designed, eye catching stalls in the LuLu Food Court has to be the one that belongs to Doner Kabab, right between SFC Plus and Kobe Sizzlers. A good looking stall is not the only thing they have: they serve up all kinds of Turkish dishes, and the sheer variety is quite impressive. They have chicken, mutton and even beef to choose from, like any authentic Turkish cuisine eatery should......
The place is inside Lulu food court. I ordered a chicken fat layer and a single barbeque. To my surprise the quantity was good. It's served along with freshly cut raw vegetables. I liked the way the food was presented. Their mayo sauce was simply delicious.
Had a half barbecue chicken, a lime mint crush and mosambi juice. Chicken was well cooked, had the right spices. There was 2 pc chicken which was served with a bun, kuboos kinda bread, veggies, fries, mayo, ketchup. Got it in 10 mins. Lime mint crush wasn't good.
Anyways, the place is worth trying. Total bill was RS.430
I had alfam from here.Got it served within 10 minutes. It was really good.To find it I ended up asking for more mayonnaise which they gave me without charging a single penny 🤗.Exceptional service and killer rates in a good way 😁.Highly highly recommended.
Really enjoyed the doner Turkish grilled chicken. It was yum and they did justice to the Turkish cuisine. Normally it's seen that Arabian dishes assume an Indian touch when served here, but this restaurant is an exception.
The staffs were friendly and served us the food in reasonable time.
Verdict: do visit this place to taste some real Turkish cuisine
Went to doners kebab to try their fatayers purely based on reviews by my zomatian friends. An extremely delicious delite!!! Loved the taste. You get the feelg of tasting some nice turkish cuisine. It a refreshing taste different from north and south indian cuisine as it doesnt have any pungent masala taste or smell...a must try foodies...
One point: The fatayers are a little big.Hence either u should be really hungry to finish it...else you should be sharing it with someone..
A random walk through the Lulu food court and sheer boredom made me go to Doner Kebab. Having absolutely no idea on what to order, I asked the help of the staff there and they suggested the Doner Kebab roll/shawarma, and the picture they advertised looked way too good, So without a second thought I ordered the roll/shawarma. It came is a nice long package , an overly filling shawarma, it's got a more sweet taste to it and it's just delightful. It's worth it's price and definitely leaves us craving for more. Definitely worth a try.
Doner Kebab (Pronounced Dooner Kebab) roots back to Turkish cuisine and is a joy to indulge in. Priced modestly, these Kebabs are a treat indeed. I've enjoyed a Fatayer occasionally. Go for chicken if you would like to have a good tender Kebab. They tend to over cook beef and are often dry. That aside, sinking one's teeth into a fillet of such kebabs is exciting. One that is bound to tickle your taste buds.
The dish ordered was Fatayer by my friend and he had no high hopes. He had eaten this as a child and was uncertain about the Turkish authenticity here. He was blown away by the taste and masala used. My friend is a big eater but he struggled to finish. 0.5 point removed juat for the cashier not warning about quantity. Taste will transport you to Turkey. Certain things like Cheese is Indian cheese, that was understandable.
Kebabs ... Kebabs .. and more Kebabzz... even though the food items are less... the have great tasty foods to offer... and not to forget our all time favorite chicken tandoor ... !!! 🍗🍖
Had Turkish grill with my friends... The full plate was nice... It was completely mixed varieties of cooking and the taste was good... The taste difference in the platter varies nicely...
We just love their chicken Fatayers. Its totally worth the price and the wait. Whenever we visit Lulu we goto the foodcourt and only head towards this outlet. They have other delicious items on their menu as well. Their hummus is also delicious. Do try their fatayer, I'm sure you would fall in love with it.
Great food and everything is unique. Nothing much to say since is lovated in Lulu malls food court. Price is on a higher side. I would visit here once out of 20 visits for a meal in a period due to food budget constraints.
Great doner kebabs ,served just at the right temperature, crispness and the best part is that it was quite filling .Goes well with tomato sauce. Not much variety but what they have is definitely worthwhile
Was here almost an year back. This was during my first visit to lulu with a colleague and a close friend.
We tried the chicken oval bread and loved it. A good bread and good chicken - two things I have an inherent weakness for.
Authenticity- not sure. Haven't tried turkish food otherwise.
Ambience- part of lulu's food court. So no separate ambience for themselves
Pricing - moderate
Would love to revisit to try more.
If you are in lulu mall and is game for an experiment with food this is the place for you, cordial staff who is more than happy to explain the items, they even ask for your kind of taste to match with what they have to offer. Never thought turkish food will be this good.
Doner Kebab - is a well designed outlet in the food court. Looks different and though kinda small, attracts you. Quite different from the other dishes meted out to you at the other stalls, these fellows give you some different fare. I was probably one of their earliest customers and the staff at the counter seemed to be very patient in explaining what their items meant and how it would probably taste. I used to be a big fan of their chicken fatayar because it used to be filled to the brim with chicken and the bread was quite different from anything I've had before. Very filling and really tasty. Once had their kebabs and I actually didnt like it much. Over a period of time, the prices kept increasing and the taste kept coming down (as with all restaurants). But still, its a very good try if you want to eat something different from the run-of-the-mill burgers pizzas and north indian dishes
very tasty. among the best places to grab a quick bite. would recommend it to everyone for those who like spicy and smoky stuff. there is one smoky Mexican wrap. one word delicious.
Used to visit this place for arabic dishes, they have good turkish menu. I like their mixed grilled plater with chicken tikka, beef tikka, mutton tikka, chicken bbq, lamp chops etc... the lamp chops z really good. You can also trybtheir fatayar, i like the special one more. In drinks i like their turksih lip shake
If you are in lulu and if you are hungry to eat a whale, don't think twice pop in to Doner Kebab. The best option in lulu for me is definitely this place. The mixed platters, Lamb chopps, breads and desserts, everything is just awesome. Meal for two may cost minimum of 400 but its quite worth.
I had always wanted to try this place, and once i was roaming through the food court, I was called by one of their staffs, the first instinct that made me go there was their staff uniform, which was pretty different from other food stalls present. The gentleman took the time and patiently helped me out on what to order. They have chicken, mutton and beef to choose from, like any authentic Turkish cuisine eatery should. I had the chicken kebab which was well marinated in a mixture of aromatic spices and tasted great.
Verdict - A must go restaurant for a food abiding citizen.
Lazy saturday stroll across lulu food court, and all what my food partner wanted was arabian cuisine. We were on a hunt indeed, as previous experiance from dining at zaki from lulu was terrible. Thus, we found doner kebab which we had'nt tried yet. Though the shop is named after kebab the options of kebab on the menu was restricted and we were in the mood to try something diffrent. We ordered one oval bread and one flat bread intrigued by the name. It was pretty much plate shawarma and roll shawarma. The filling was really huge and filling. The blend of mayo, veggies and chicken was one of the best in Kochi. And the quantity was justified.
Visited Lulu Mall yesterday and was looking for some good eating options.Hence hit their food court. There were plenty of options available and suddenly i saw Doner Kebab. The man at the counter had plenty of stuff on display and took time to explain the Turkish cuisine in detail. As there were plenty of options to eat i wanted to try most of the items they had on the menu. So finally decided to go for Mixed Platter the cost was Rs 650 after taxes and it took 15 minuted to prepare.
Once ready i picked up the same from the counter. It's a self service food court. The meat tasted good and was well done. It was juicy and had a good flavor to it. It tasted awesome and even my 2 year old kid loved the preparation The platter came with salads, humus and pita bread. The quantity was sufficient for .2 adults . We found the food to be good and would recommend folks to try the platter out as the taste and food was worth the money spent.
So if visiting Lulu do try out this place. I can't comment on the other rolls and items as we did not try the same. But the platter was sufficient and got the job done.
This is a stall at lulu mall. When we went out for a movie we decided to try out the food court at lulu mall as this was our first visit. I ordered a chicken shawarma and a Labanese roll. Somehow both tasted the same. The taste was really nice. But then since there isn't a burst of flavors you get bored after a while. There is no spiciness as such. You get a lot of mayonnaise. You miss a little burst here and there.

First of all , this is not a restaurant but a counter in the spacious food court of lulu mall. And the only place to get turkish food in city.
Have visited this place many times. Well if i have visited some place repeatedly then food should be really great and it is. All the items i have tried from here is really great. All the juices i have tried from here was also great.
But one thing which i found really bad here is their salads, which didn't taste good and was overpriced for its quality.
Verdict: Great . go for it. Good place for non veggies, not a place for vegans.
Doner is the Turkish equivalent of the Arabic Shawerma. I have tried the original turkish doner, and this does not come close to the actual dish. However it sure is tasty! They have different types of flatbreads (with authentic names- tombik, durum etc), I usually go for the oval bread. Portions may not be that large, so make sure you go for a meal.
