This is my full review of Yummy Kitchens
Let's start of with how easy it is to place an order, you can long onto the website choose the foods you wanna eat and then checkout.
It's simple as that.The quality and taste of the food was also fantastic.I had ordered the 2 sets of dum aloo and the paneer do pyaza which came with 12 rotis which are just like the rotis you make at home.I loved the overall experience and can't wait to order again!
There are days when you don't feel cooking but want to start your day with a heavy and healthy breakfast for a productive day. Recently came across YummyKitchen and I was thrilled to know that they deliver home cooked breakfast.
Ordered idli sambhar, puttu kadala and rontas thoy. All the dishes were delicious, neatly packed and so fresh and flavourful.
Looking forward to trying out more dishes
I came across an article on yummy kitchens on newspapers. What attracted to me was the whole concept of home based cooking. To start with I tried their cakes. Carrot and Dates cake, I have never have had such a yummy cake before. On other occasions my family also tried their brownies and death by choclate cake. Yummy kitchens have raised the bar on this new concept with their prompt response, packaging and above all quality.
Amazing concept and value for money!! I had ordered a lot of chapatis to carry with me for travelling several times. They were surprisingly soft and neatly packed so that i used them for quite some days! I had also ordered a lot of their other delicacies the times that i have travelled to Kochi. All were extremely good, prepared with less oil and masala and thus gave me the typical 'Gharelu'- homely yummy taste!! Yummy kitchens indeed!!
First of all hats off to such a concept of food delivery. I ordered rotis along with a curry made with brinjal and it felt so good to have homemade food for a change. :) The service is good too.

Got to know about the good work of YUMMY KITCHENS through a newspaper article recently. Was curious to try it out and I did get my chance soon.
I've tried their Dal Rice, Chapati-Egg Curry, Fish curry meals, White Forest Cake and Poori Masala so far and totally loved it.
A 4.5 out of 5 star is only because of the delivery time hassles (Sunday and early-morning delivery requests) and also, a little spilling from the packaging. I'm sure this was just a one-off incidence and it will well be taken care of in future.
A special mention about their Dal Rice and White Forest Cake is a MUST. Both were simply "Out of this World". Too Good!!!
Items are reasonably priced and given the quality of food I'm definitely not complaining. Delivery charge of Rs. 35/- to Palarivattom is also accepted given their professional service.
Will definitely call upon you soon again, The Talented Team at Yummy Kitchens!! Keep up the good work. It's an art and a blessing to be able to bring a smile to someone by serving homely heavenly food. You are doing a great job! :) :)

I just loved the Prawn Rice (Chemmeen chor). It was yummy and delicious.

I came to know about yummy kitchens from the Hindu newspaper and just gave it a try.
Now Whenever I go to my hometown I make it a habit to order authentic kerala dishes like Chicken Vartha arachathe,porota, chicken biriyani etc. from there. And have to admit that I have never tasted better food in any other fancy restaurants in kochi. Yummy kitchens serves you the best kerala dishes at your doorstep at far more reasonable rates than other popular restaurants in town.

i have been ordering food from yummy kitchen for the past one week and should say food is very delicious ,home made and delivery is good and on time
Here's how YummyKitchen.in works.When you call and place an order, they source your food from a household that specializes in making that particular dish. If you order Punjabi, they will deliver food from a house that cooks punjabi food at your door step.
The best thing about the whole affair is that you get home cooked food delivered at your door step.Tried the Parathas and paneeer curry from the gujrati house and it was very good. Few people I know have tried a variety of dishes already and found them to be very ggod. Only trouble is that you need to order almost a day in advance.
Their menu speaks of an Ela pothichoru (Traditional Kerala thali packed in plantain leaf) which looks promising.

Ordered Punjabi thali from Yummy Kitchens, and it was delicious and fresh food. Authentic taste, and hassle free delivery. Yummy Kitchens comes in so useful for the working folks, who would like to take a break from the kitchen once in a while, yet unwilling to compromise on home cooked food. The food was also in plenty.

Home made food ... Nice concept , we came to know of this from an Article in The Hindu. A coordinator to collect your orders , with food being cooked across the city, in several house holds. We ordered a Malai paneer with rotis . Got the food on time , good home made food at reasonable rates. Pic of the food we ordered uploaded
Yummy kitchens...!! As the name says.. Not only people who are extremely missing homemade mamma's food but also people who are bored of going to the same restaurant every weekends would definitely want to try eating from YK... Good selective menu be it south indian, north indian, veg , non veg, chinese, gujarati & of course punjabi (my fav)... on time delivery.. taking orders one day in advance be it for a large group or just two or three.. good packing.. and the best part is that it comes from home ka kitchen... yummy home food = yummy kitchens = happy happy..
I wanted a special cake for my dear son on his birthday but did not have the time to shop and order for one. My sister recommended YummyKitchens and she ordered a cake online for me. I got the cake (Chocolate flavor) delivered to my doorstep on time. The cake was just superb and everyone loved it. Thanks YummyKitchen! I have given a full rating of 5 for their prompt delivery and the delicious Cake!!
Besides this, they offer hot & piping homely food (north, south, gujarati) for those pressed for time. Just give them ring in advance (no immediate orders) and you have it delivered at your doorstep. I would happily recommend YummyKitchens to anyone.
Taste of their food is synonymous to their name. A good option for preplanned parties, get togethers, or even family dinners. For a home run business, they do offer a wide range of cuisines, and they come with combos to ensure you get the right dish to compliment the roti, rice, or whatever it is you feel like having.
One think that I'd like to point out is that that don't take last minute orders, which at first I thought was strange. But for a business run by a couple of housewives I think that is a god way of doing business, plus you are assured freshly cooked food at your door step...
