Visited little soi twice! They serve tasty food at decent price! A friend of mine surprised me in little soi for my birthday and thanks to the team they managed it well ! When it comes to food, I love their ramen, nasi goreng , dumplings, tuna bun/ bao! What I did not like about the restaurant is it’s congested , waiting period is long for the food.

Seeing many positive reviews we went to lunch at Little Soi. They are centrally located and not hard to find, ambience is pleasing with good polite folks tending tables.

Menu is predominantly Asian - Thai, Vietnamese, Malaysian, Chinese, Japanese, Indonesia & Burmese. As 1st time diners we tried Sate Beef Padang, Tom Yum Chicken fried rice and spicy tuna rolls from the Sushi menu. Our 2nd was a order in due to lockdown, Tom yum Chicken fried rice, Tom yum prawns fried rice and Thai Phad chicken noodles ( actually could improve on the noodles). Little Soi didn't disappoint, food is great although portions can be underwhelming. Definitely worth trying! ! ☺🍣🍤🥡😍

I've been a repeat customer at Little Soi. Each time I come here, I get blown away by the quality of food and service. I first came here to try the sushi, which is prepared fresh at the sushi bar. It's extremely fresh and worth the price. My other favourite dishes include the Chicken Satay, Beef and Broccoli and the Crispy Lotus Root. The only downside is the broth used in their ramen always tastes the same, and slightly on the heavy, sour side. I hope they can improve that. Little Soi remains one of my favourite dining experiences in Kochi, and I will continue to come back.

After hearing a lot of rave reviews from various sources, finally managed to turn up here a few weeks ago with a couple of friends of mine.  I have only one thing to say at this point: the place is worth all the hype and more, and how!! It was an elaborate meal we had, so brace yourselves for a long review.

The place is located in Kadavanthra in an ideal spot, I'd say with not much of rush around, but close enough to the main road. The ambience is pleasing and has a great vibe overall, colours that are easy on the eye and some wall art as well.

Coming to the part which won us over which was the food (no prizes for guessing 😁), we had two soups which were the classic Sweet Corn chicken soup and Thai Coconut Noodle soup-the prawns version. The sweet corn chicken soup was as good, but the Noodle soup was just so good and reminded me of the Laksa, with the coconut milk broth and the overall flavor. It was simply superb and gave us a foreshadowing of what was to come 😅

From the starters, our picks were the Prawns seasme toast, the Sate Chicken Madura which was essentially Chicken Satay, and Beef Pepper Bao. The Satay wwas quite good and was subtle with the flavors, pleasing on the tastebuds. The Prawns sesame toast was one revelation of a dish, and it was shrimp balls coated in Sesame paste and deep fried. It was nothing like I expected,it was even better and the accompanying dip just elevated the dish to another level. The Bao was also, quite honestly, the best iteration of the dish I've managed to taste in a very long while. Sliced peppery beef tenderloin in a bao, it was simply superb.

In the main course, our picks were the XO Fried rice, Char Kuay Teow beef, Chicken Cashew and the Burmese Khao Suey(veg). The XO Fried rice was a unique dish and it was basically Fried Rice in XO Sauce and those who are not familiar with the same might take a bit of getting used to to the dish, but it's done quite well. The cashew chicken was also a nice touch with a semi-sweet gravy and the Char Kuay Teow beef was flat noodles in beef, in a unique blend of sauces. By the time we reached up to the Burmese Khao Suey, we were pretty full, but what little we managed to squeeze in tasted really nice. All the ingredients are brought separately and it is mixed in front of us to make the mixture, and it was really nice.

Last, but not the least, the desserts. Of course no meal is complete without a serving of the sweet and we tried out the Little Soi Sphere and Panna Cotta. Little Soi Sphere is basically a sphere of chocolate served with corn flakes, fresh strawberries and chocolate bits and on top of which hot chocolate sauce is poured. I know, it tasted as delightful and even better than it sounds. If we weren't that full from all the great food  before, we would have ordered it once more. The Panna Cotta was good too, with the right consistency and sweetness. Not overtly sweet, perfectly balanced.

In all, it was a wonderful meal which we had and I'll be sure to turn up here next time I'm in town. This place is amazing and authentic, and is a must try place irrespective of you like Asian Cuisine or not. Highly recommended.

Craving for street food ?

And you're around Kochi ?

Then definitely visit Little Soi which will certainly satisfy your panasian food cravings for once and for all.

Little Soi is a lovely restaurant in Kochi  which highly concentrates on panasian  food. Like Bao, Dan Dan noodles etc which you won't get anywhere else in a reasonable price.

Let's get started then .

I had Chicken Phad Phrik, Phoenix Fishi prawn Tempura Ysai Maki Out of their main course, shouldn’t miss the DAN DAN NOODLES – which can be served with chicken, tofu and beef. Noodles and rice and can be teamed with the curries or the dishes from the Wok to share.Do ask for suggestions.

They do have a variety of panasian dishes which you must have to try. My experience was good and I'll be coming back soon..

It was lunch, and with few restaurants serving good pan Asian food in kadavanthara, me and my friend came across little Soi, which my friend vouched for, serving some of the best Dimsum and Nasi Goreng in Kochi. We eventually tried the prawn hargau, Malaysian noodles and Nasi Goreng. The prawn hargau was good and the skin was super soft. The Malaysian noodles was also nice but would have loved some more
Beansprouts in them. The Nasi Goreng was a complete meal
In itself but the chili sambal had too strong a shrimp flavour. Overall it was a value for money lunch and would definitely come again for their Ramens as the manager remarked was one of the best sellers.

Prawn Hargau dumplings were the best, very flavourful and juicy. California Maki roll was my first time trying a sushi, well it didn't fail to impress me. It was tasty too
Miso chicken ramen, wasn't the best I've had, but it was okay and had plenty of chicken pieces.

Possibly the best dine out experience in Cochin.
The food. Ambience..service all fantastic. The portions are just right for you to order and enjoy a variety of dishes at one go and most of it gives a light on the stomach. Finally tasted a Panacotta that had just enough sweetness. Their sauces and sides are a thing to behold. Both in taste and in preparation.

I was there in Kochi for a business meet with one of friend and with not many options to choose from for pan Asian dining we settled in for Little Soi which was located a stone throw away from my hotel. The restaurant is in assuming but boy they serve one of the most delectable.dimsum esp the scallop suimai which comes in a yellow gravy and the beef rendang with coconut rice. The flavours were a standout! Even their drinks - sadly no alcohol but their mocktails are crazy good. Try their Mad over Milo and you will not be disappointed. Will be back again when I am in Kochi.

This restaurant is a must visit if you want to satiate your pan Asian food cravings and none does it better than Little Soi in Kochi. It’s a quaint little place with a vibrant decor ( you cant miss the “Sushi Granny” overlooking when you’re dining. It’s fun, casual but courteous and not intrusive dining. Some of the highlights of the meal we had, were the Spicy Miso Chicken Ramen, Prawn Suimai, the Salmon Maki, Nasi Goreng. Don’t miss out on the desserts as they are surprisingly good- we tried the pannacotta and it was very well constructed. Head over with your friends as the menu is vast so you get to try most of the menu and it’s still light on your pocket!

The  dimsum menu is a wonderful addition to the already delish menu of Little Soi. We tried the chicken and celery dimsum and  it is the best way to enjoy the new menu. We loved the prawn hargau the most and the Spicy Veggie dim sum from the veg. section. If you like prawns, don't forget the dynamite prawn with almond crush - you will just love it. Batter coated, subtly seasoned, deep fried prawns are so good that we didn't want to stop at just 1. We have been fans of baos from Little soi for a long time now. They are best within our easy reach. They have introduced 3 variants in the  menu and we just loved the Chili Hoisin jackfruit .  **************************************************************************************************** This is one place I prefer for a frequent visit most often and undoubtedly a place that serves some really exceptional PanAsian fare. The menu is extensive and elaborate. You can go for the small plates (avlb in wok tossed, fried, grilled and steamed options), or the large bowls (soupy one bowl meals which come with rice/noodles) and choose from a range of oriental salads, noodles and rice. Before diving to the food, I would definitely love to mention that the service is really prompt here and the servers are ever smiling, making your entire dining experience a pleasurable one. Out of the many things that I always keep on trying out here, below are the few which I can go right back to have them again.  Chicken Phad Phrik, Phoenix Fishi prawn Tempura Ysai Maki Out of their main course, shouldn’t miss the DAN DAN NOODLES  – which can be served with chicken, tofu and beef. Noodles and rice and can be teamed with the curries or the dishes from the Wok to share.Do ask for suggestions. Desserts are aplenty if you are ready to experiment, for me I play safe with the Coconut panna cotta. One of the best that I have had.

Just been here once with friends and everyone thoroughly loved the experience. The dishes are unique and lovely and the waiters extremely patient, especially when it comes to helping us decide with these Asian dishes.

Some of the dishes we tried which you can see in the pics below include:
Ebi tempura maki roll (prawn tempura based sushi)
Burmese khao Soi (flavourful curried noodles served with various assortments that you can choose to fill as you please - easily serves 2 or more)
4 seasons dumplings (a colourful vegetarian version that everyone loved)
Chicken wings
Spicy tuna roll (sushi, again really well prepared, enjoyed even by those who had never had sushi and were hesitant)
Pho beef (a beef based broth, unlike the thicker kaho Soi and laksa seafood bowl)
Not seen in the pictures were the pepper beef bao and char sui chicken bao, both good though I loved the beef one more; one of the prawn dumplings and a lovely laksa seafood bowl that again serves 2 - 3 people.

House special desserts here include:

Little Soi sphere, jellied water chestnut and coconut panna cotta.

We all loved the food here and the overall experience.

Visited this place after hearing rave reviews This place is located in Kadavanthra behind Volga Bar. It is acute little Pan Asian space that whips up some jaw dropping food. The interiors are well done and the staff are extremely courteous.

We started off with the soups, Thai Coconut Noodles soup Prawn and Sweet corn chicken soup. The Prawn soup was extremely creamy and had a divine texture. the Sweet corn soup however was on a completely different league. Without any hesitation I can easily tell that this is the best version of sweet corn I have ever had the privilege of tasting.

It was followed by Prawn sesame toast, Sate chicken Madura, Beef pepper bao in small plates section. The prawn sesame toast is prawns topped on bread which is deep fried and loaded with sesame seeds. This was an absolute peach of a dish. The chicken Madura was also good but the beef bao was just beyond words.

Then came the dumplings. We had the Prawn Hargau and Mushroom & Spinach. I loved the Prawn Hargau but me being a carnivore, did not have a liking for the Mushroom and Spinach.

In the main course we had Chicken Cashew nut, XO Fried Rice, Burmese Khao Soi Veg, Char Kuay Teow Beef, White rice and Thai green curry Veg. All of the dishes were really really tasty. But this review would not be doing justice if I fail to give a special mention to the XO Fried rice. The fried rice tossed in XO sauce was absolute heaven. I have to warn you that it might not be everyone's cup of tea due to the taste and smell of the XO sauce but I absolutely adored this dish.

Finally coming to the desserts, we tried the Pannacotta and the Little Soi Sphere. Again I gave to say that I was bowled over by both of the desserts, The little soi sphere was out of this world.

Overall Little Soi is an awesome place where you can chill out with your friends and have some soul food. The ambiance and service just adds to your luxury.

Overall Rating:5/5 for everything 😊

Little soi gives us another pan asian restaurant in kochi. Honestly speaking little soi would be among the top in this category for me. The brand chef has recreated the dishes while staying true to the authentic taste. Little soi states that their food is not a fusion food but presenting streen asian food in a modern way. I'm in love with their food and it is a must try to all the people in kochi.
Here are some of their delicacies we tasted..
- sweet corn and thai coconut soup
- prawn sesame toast
- kaffire lime ice tea
- kappa maki and spicy salmon sushi
- char siu chicken bao
- beef pepper bao
- seafood laksa bowl
- chicken and celery dimsum
- mushroom and spinach dimsum
- chicken satay madura
- char kuat teow beef
- pho beef
- xo fried seafood
- thai tom yum fried rice
- tender coconut punch
- little soi sphere
- blCk pepper chicken
- jellied water chestnut
- pisang goreng

Little soi is a treat to your tastebuds. A TrencherMan recommended.

Tried the vegetarian food here. I love, love soups and salads usually. So tried the Cantonese sweet corn soup. Absolutely full of (subtle) flavour although some who love spicy food would think it’s a bit too bland. For the main course, I split a Classic Hokien fried rice with another friend (yes, it’s a good portion that you can split with one other). Though it seems too little - the burnt garlic garnish adds so much flavour to the meal! A bit spicy for my palette, but thoroughly satisfying. The ones who love to go hard on dessert, MUST try the fudge brownie. I’m not a dessert person so stuck to a Kaffir lime iced tea, which I found pretty refreshing.
And finally I must admit, I really love the name Little Soi, lol. There’s something really charming about it.

If you’re someone who loves to experiment new places, and have an appetite for Asian food, then this is a place definitely worth a try!

This is where I go to everytime I have a sushi craving. The ambience really stands out and the whole vibe is quite nice and relaxing. The sushi is really nice here. I wouldn't say it's super authentic, but it's really really good. I usually have the dragon maki. The chicken pot sticker was quite nice. I really like their kung pao bao, but the last time I had it, it wasn't as good. But still pretty good. We have their mie goreng usually I think, and that's quite nice as well. The food is definitely on the pricey side, and the starters could definitely be more portion wise. But the sushi is well priced in my opinion, for the quality and taste. I really like this place, and will keep visiting as long as they keep up their standards 😀

This place has been in our bucket list for so long.. finally got a chance to visit. its expensive and worth going on special occassions or for special treats. i tried sushi for d first time in my entire life - i was so skeptical about raw fish.. but its actually not bad. u dip in d sauce, close ur eyes, pray to all ur food gods and just pop it into ur mouth. its kind of chewy, the finish - but flavours r good. i'm someone who doesnt like the flavour of shellfish - so if i'm saying its not tat bad, its actually not tat bad😅 then we tried ramen(didnt like), thai green curry - really good. tastes like a cross between our fish curry and kadala curry. then chicken and chestnut satay- it was ok ok. fried rice with pineapple was good - forgot its name. then i think we ordered some chicken side dish - which was also pretty decent. food was okay. good service.. nice ambience - excellent place to hangout with friends and if u like trying out new cuisines.

Got miso gochujong chicken ramen and gyoza from here. I loved the ramen but got tired of it towards the end because it is served in a big bowl and has a lot of soup. Authentic asian cuisine. They are pretty fast in terms in terms of serving time. The Bai buns were as fluffy as a sponge . I was a lil apprehensive of tasty makizsuhi here but am super glad that i tried it. Also the portion per serving is pretty large. Hence be watchful of the number of items you order. We also ordered a classic fried rice and chicken sate both which tasted delicious. Wanted to taste the laksa but was too full for it . The place is neat and pretty spacious as well.
