They serve one of the best bamboo biriyani in town .. The aroma of the biriyani 😍 and one biriyani would be enough for 2 as the quantity is pretty much good and its worth the money !
This place is now renovated. It's much cleaner now. It's upstair behind Palarivattom bus stop. It's a pocket friendly place with decent food.
Good food reasonable price tags for all items. I usually order porotta and beef roast which go very well with each other and a glass of sweet lime soda is spectacular. Good service and good manners from the staff, friendly. Spacious enough for a small group. Ambiance is not that great, but neat enough with a view of the street. one thing I like about this place is that it is open late. Life saver for the bachelors around the city. Good food and pocket friendly. Recommended for bachelors.
Ambiance and Hygiene are two words that you have to forget when you come to Rappai's . This place is all about meat! Chicken fry and porotha !! Definitely one of the best chicken fry in Ernakulam area. Often crowded by foodies during evenings. Must visit place for all crazy non veg foodies.

Only go here for the awesome chicken fry here !! really loved that very much .. And all kinda of dosa with chuttney and chammanthi are also good !! Only problem is too much rush and crowd in evening time need to wait more time to get foods
One of the best budget restaurants in palativattam area. The food is damn good. Especially porotta. They do serve a lot of nadan items. Also they are open on Sundays :)
If you wish to have Porotta and Chicken fry, I would recommend this place to you. The food is worth spending..and is really tasty.

This is the place which comes in our Mind whn we are tonns of frds tog,hungry nd bit broke. As this place serves awesome porotta with fried chicken nd the gravy. I do love there omelette too (only if I am eating from thr nd not for parcel) awesome place for take away.
No one makes better porotta and chicken fry in Kochi, it was always rappai, and always will be. You find people fight to place an order for parcel here. That's how good the chicken fry here is. Next best combination would be their dosa and beef/kadala .Very Kerala flavored food at an affordable rate. You don't get a seat at Rappais you win it.
A must try food joint for spicy non veg lovers. If you are porotta/dosa fan then it's "a must eat before die" hotel for many reasons. The chicken fry is crispy, spicy and worth for every penny. Since it's spicy and made with a kerala flavour, it's not recommend - still you will end up eating Rappai's Fried Chicken just like how you would treat a Kerala style fried chicken bucket (if KFC starts serving!) :D
PS : It's a small place, very crowded and almost like a road side shop. Recommending take away for families (they are damn quick on that!)
3 Dishes are excellent - namely chicken fry, pepper chicken and fish fry meals. Every other dish is average to poor. The best time to visit is post 6 pm when the fresh lot of porottas are ready and u can sample Kerala's "national" dish of porotta and fried chicken.. As said earlier, their fried chicken is perfect. Crisp and spicy and fried in fresh coconut oil and curry leaves. The pepper chicken is also brilliant. However every other dish lacks substance. You cant expect too much from a low-mod range restaurant anyway so just go and try their signature dishes as they wont disappoint u.

My favourite restaurant for take away. The best value for money place around palarivattom. What i always have from this place is chicken fry along with some pathiri or porotta or appam whichever is available. The small thattu dosa here is also worth a try.
This is one of the last places to close in this area. So have ended up for food here after the hangouts with friends. BTW this might not be the place for hygiene freaks. Visit this place only if you want some tasty food without burning your pocket.
Rappai's Thattinpuram restaurant is famous for some really cheap and tasty food. Located bang at palarivattom junction this place gets into action as evening sets in.
The variety is not much. But the chicken and beef dishes you get here is really yummy. Quick service is a guarantee here. I love their chicken fry and beef roast the most. With the hot porottas and chapathis and some spicy non veg food you are bound to enjoy your time here.
Make a visit if you are around the area and craving for some typical Kerala non veg delicacies!! Very easy on the pocket

Rappai's FastFood: Seating is often full. The dining area and open kitchen are congested. Porotta, Chicken Fry, and Beef Fry are the popular dishes here in which Porotta and Chicken Fry is my favourite combo. Porotta is flaky and the chicken and beef fries are flavorful. Parcel Counter is available. However, you won't find tea or coffee here; only soft drinks are served.
Was a favourite spot among the locals. I have been eating their porota and chicken fry for many years. Can say that it lost its consistency around 2 years back with the taste and quantity. There is a small space to sit and eat, but parcel might be preferred. Can find easy parking spots for 2 wheelers but not 4 wheelers.

Me and my friends had dinner here at rappai's. We ordered porotta and chilli chicken (porota Rs10/- per piece ,half chilli chicken Rs130/- ) . Have to say they have been delivering the same quality and taste every single time I visit there. It's one of the best tastes you can find here at Ernakula.

Rappais the name has been known to be from my childhood, and that's synonymous with porotta and chicken fry. It still remains the best dish here. The issue this joint faces is a lack of parking space and good dining space. This is the original small outlet at the road towards janatha and not the upstairs one (which i dunno is rip off or dupe).

Good spot for porotta lovers. It's a kinda fast food setup. Don't expect any good ambience. I tried porotta, chicken fry and beef roast. Both porotta and chicken fry were tasty. The beef roast wasn't very tasty for me.
