Realy a great homestay! Run by Bastian and Jinnie who offer the best Kerala or continental breakfasts. 150r per person including fruits, coffee, chai and all with more than decant portion to make you satisfied and super full. We haven't missed one breakfast in all the five days of our stay. The homestay has two sections of rooms in two buildings separated by an alee in the Christian part of Fort Kochi. The owners house is located in ground floor and it is always open to any questions you my have. I could easily feel how they're very experienced with travelers needs. Most recommended!

Bastion Homestay is within easy walking distance of FC centre and all the tourist sights. The room was super comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were delicious.
Bastion and Gingi both went out of their way to help us organize trips and taxis.
We had a great stay and were sorry to leave.

The highlight of my stay was the hospitality of the hosts. They were very helpful, and did everything they could to make your stay great.
Location was great - very close to all the attractions in Fort Kochi. The rooms themselves were good and pretty clean. It's no luxury hotel, but for a homestay I'd say it's on the cleaner side (for Indian standards). There were mosquitos, so you should really turn on the ceiling fan for sleeping unless you're used to the bites.
I booked the backwaters tour and Kathakali dance with them, and both of those were amazing and well worth the money. They charged standard prices for the tour and the dance (exact same price as advertised in all the other shops).
Breakfast costed extra, but it's pretty plain so I wouldn't have high expectations for that.
We had booked this homestay for our trip to fort kochi...it's a very nice and cozy homestay...the owners are very helpful. It's actually a home away from home. The room was clean and comfortable. The ambience of the property is also very pretty. A special thanks to aunty for the lovely breakfast. We still can't get over that taste. Also a big thank you to uncle for personally helping us get to the bus stand and guiding us for our next destination. Thank you Bastian homestay 😇🤗
Bastien homestay is brilliant, one of the best hostels we have stayed in. Bastien himself is very helpful and seems to have pretty much everything covered. The rooms are perfect, nice big comfy beds, we paid extra for air conditioning but the rooms also have good quiet fans. The best bathroom so far in India and absolutely spotlessly clean.
The breakfast here is fabulous, the egg curry is probably my favourite curry ever. Very sociable, breakfast is served with everyone else staying here.
Location is perfect, it's in a central position for pretty much everything. There is a lot to do in Kochi, we only had 3 days, we will most definitely return for a longer stay next time.
We had a great time at Bastian's place. Very nice and helpful owners. They can arrange you almost everything that you need. Our room was comfortable and clean. One thing that was missing was just a simple table to put your stuff on.

The room was quite basic, but the best thing here is about hospitality, host let us check in earlier, we stored our luggage after check out and we can even take a shower before leaving Kochi.
There is a rooftop for us to dry out clothes.
Breakfast available for 125 rupees per person.
I had a budget room for Rs 600 for 1 night. Compared to the price the room was excellent. There was a really good bathroom with hot water, no-cupboard but there were places to hang clothes. The room was really nice with multiple lights and a desk. The owner family also behaved really nicely. If you are on a budget trip do not miss as this is the maximum you can get.

Awesome experience. I booked this homestay for a day. Room was very clean with all facilities. Owner was super nice. We reached at property one hour early then let us to do early checkin without any extra charges. Location is calm and near to all major tourist spots

Very comfortable room, wide and clean, with comfortable bed and new and clean bathroom. Perfect position, in nice, green and narrow streets, 10 minutes walking from Fort Cochi.

We stayed for three nights. The first night we arrived at 4am from our flight. Bastian was kind enough to help arrange a taxi and to wake up to let us into our room. This meant we could sleep off the jet lag and have a smooth start to the trip. The rooms are simple, Wi-Fi is good, breakfast yummy and the hospitality is first class. Bastian and his wife were amazing hosts. Thank you both for a great start to our trip.
