Surprisingly great tasting food. The snacks are all well worth it and cost effective too...
I went there at the right time. Around 3:30pm on a weekday evening. Too many good Malabar snacks where there. It's the first time I am trying stuffed velichenna pathiri. Brilliant it was. Chicken stuffed pathiri. Then classic unnakkaya and tea. Also try their cardomom tea. Kappa Biriyani was good. But that day when they served I hardly get any beef pieces. And my complaint was not addressed very well. May be a bad day for them.
I love the wide assortment of snacks they provide at Chaya Peediya. The busy crowd during the evening is testimony to the taste and quality. A special favourite would be their pazhampori, which is easily one of the best ones in the city (do try their pazhampori + beef combo).
The only thing they need to improve on would be the space. It's quite hard to get a seat in the after work hours.
Wonderful place with a variety of Malabar snacks ...the place is always crowded...the seating capacity is limited but the quality of food is extremely good...the staffs are very good and the delivery time also is to be appreciated..
"Naadan Kadikal" it's always a mouth watering word for me to hear. Vada, samoosa, bonda...it's all a quick choice to satisfy ur starving. This naadan chaayakada is just awsm with lots of funny wall paintings around. They have all kind of snacks and biriyani also in the afternoon. But my favourite of all is their Sharjah shake and Chicken Roll. Its just yummmmm . The chutney that they serve has a different kind of flavour and it's really good. Its a very very very small place and it's always crowdly and rushy coz of the taste of the food that they serve. This is the frequent hangout spot for me and ma colleagues whenever we feel to have a quick bite in the evening.. 👍👍
👍adipoli food and tea must try
Erachi chor chicken majboos Special Teas and Hot Snacks including Malabar snacks just try it out also good ambience
Best chaya kada..
Rates are little high, but everything is worth it. Its a small space. Very small space, but the rush shows the quality.
Simple open shop with funny wall paintings.
Malabar snack items are available.
Food is good.
Staffs are really good.
A not-so -fussy place to sip on some tea and snacks. The place, as they say, is a new generation tea shop. They have managed to bring out the old charm. The tea is strong and on point with correct amount of sugar. They have various snacks and most of them are yummy and served warm.
Found this tiny little place as we got off the metro one fine evening! Our tea cravings were satisfied as we ordered a cup of regular tea and a cup of Dancing Tea! Nice ambiance and really friendly guys running the place! Blesson
A tiny place with a good ambience. Well served!
Got a cup of Dancing Tea from this little place in MG Road. It had a layer of condensed milk in the bottom, strong tea and then a topped up with some more plain milk! Quite a sight to watch the tea dancing without mixing the layers! Tess George
One of the finest small timer joints that is currently operating in Tripunithura. This place has a rustic and essential charm to it such that the ambience gives you a lot to talk about just not about life but things that you could dive deeper into. A very friendly service and an excellent lighting and seating arrangement ensures you get allured by the sheer ambience of it. Food is irresistibly tasty and the best part is very much below the budget!!.
We hangout here every single night for Lime tea served on stainless steel cups. So do try!!
Lot of options for delicious Malabar snacks and different types of chais. I've ordered dancing tea, chicken cheese cake, pazhampori with beef curry, motta pathiri. Every item was made fresh and delicious. It's the first time I'm having a dancing tea. Which was taste like badam milk. Pazhampori alone was really good. But with beef it tastes better. All these items costed inside 200rs. Shop ambience and seat arrangement were good.
Nice tea spot in M G road ,Ernakulam. We can spend time there with our friends or family. Their menu have different types of tea and also snacks. I tried normal tea and 2 snacks. Everything I tried was nice.
Delicious Malabar snacks. If you order snacks they come in with a tray of different savoury and sweet snacks. We loved the steamed plantain cake and the shredded chicken filled donut. The cardamom and masala chai was absolutely delicious too. Highly recommend 👍
If you are running errands or window shopping at MG road near the Maharajas Metro station area, then this small eatery will be a great refresher.
Chaya Peediya is also a hangout place for many. The place can host around 30 people at a time. You have a wide variety of beverages and snacks to choose from. They will come to your seat with all the snacks in a platter and you can choose from it. You can see the live kitchen from the counter and will notice that hygiene is kept well. The main staffs are very friendly and cordial.
The place is well-lit and nicely designed. There are very good photographs, graffiti and paintings. As the place is directly in front of the main road and without any doors or shutters to it, don't expect any calm and quiet ambience. But hey, that is not the ambience of a chaayakkada anyway.
Different varieties of tea and malabar snacks... Pocket friendly... Chicken Majboos is recommended.. Service bit lacking even there was no rush.. Drinks was served only after repeated request..
Nice Malabari Tea Hub
Been here couple of times in the last 1 year
Tea is nicely prepared and customized as per Your requirement
Snacks are the highlight here with loads of North Kerala varieties
The hospitality is also nice, however the place is always crowded specially in the evenings.
Might be hard to find a seperate table with the limited space it has to offer.
Overall it's a must visit tea hub on MG road
This is a very pleasant place opposite of Maharaja College Ground. It's difficult to find a seat during the afternoons and evenings. The tea was really good and the snacks were delicious. But if health conscious pls avoid snacks here most the snacks were oily
First of all really enjoyed the atmosphere. neat tables and beautiful drawings and little vintage things were really attracted us.. We had pazham pori and beef with hot tea and coffee... Reasonable price and taste was mind blowing. Too good ❤️❤️
Literally a hidden gem. Opposite to the Maharaja's ground, this place has wide variety of snacks and special mention for the biriyani as well.. taste is amazing too✨ and heap of varieties in chai, coffee, hot and cold beverages as well.
Space is one thing that's short, both in and out for parking as well.
Saw a massive queue here while walking down so thought we try it out. Amazing tea! Probably the best we have had since our stay in kochi
