It’s a good change to have a place serving something apart from the regular South Indian/ North Indian food! The plating surprised me! It was so well plated and just too good! If you’re not a lemon tea fan, you haven’t had the right one! Altaf’s Lemon tea is much better than the ones I’ve had before! Their hummus falafel platter and r any of the Mediterranean dishes would be the best to try. We didn’t quite enjoy the pasta. The Nutella crepe was also perfect! So if you’re there for breakfast, go for it! Their chicken satay was good too.

The best place to eat in Kodaikanal. It placed in entry point of Dolphin nose. You have to wait to get seat, we waited for 1 hour as we visited at peak hours. But once you got the seat you can have your food with mesmerising natural view of mountain and valley. There so many continental and middle eastern food options is there, so you can choose as your choice. The drinks options also have many variations. You can enjoy your food with excellent view and best place to have food in kodaikanal.

In the midst of misty mountains and valleys this scenic cafe is located. You can get authentic middle eastern food here. We had their Falafel 🧆 plate that was out of world. Their Ginger Lemon tea is an ecstasy

On our way to Dolphin nose, we made a stop to this small little cafe with a terrific view of the mountains and amazing middle Eastern food, We tried their pasta as well but liked the falafel platter much better, also their lemon and ginger tea is a must.

Must visit cafe when you are in kodai, you will just love the experience, Must try Israeli breakfast and Mushrooms cheese Omelette with Garlic bread toast. Do not forget to have ginger lemon honey chai. This place sure has a vibe and refreshes you. Service needs to be improved, Considering the amount of people visiting this place and with such good food, service surely disappoints you. We had to wait for 20-30 mins for each of our order to get served.

Located at an awesome view point. Sandwich is superb. Not a fan of their popular Falafel plate. Lemon tea is too good. Filter coffee dint taste like filter coffee. Hot chocolate wasn't great. Aloo paratha tastes authentic. All items they provide are good.

The best cafe in Vattakanal. They serve Israeli dishes mainly. We have visited Althafs every time we visited vattakanal. My favourite is the schnitzel plate , hot chocolate and Nutella pancake. Best food with the best view.

The place has a beautiful scenic view over the cloudy hills. The service is very slow and might take time due to the presence of the crowd. Make sure to try the Chicken Pizza 🍕 which was the best according to me. 4 wheeler Parking must be done 500-900m before the place as the roads are narrow and no parking is available nearby.

This place is tucked a little away from the city but it's definitely worth a visit. We tried their pasta, falafel and the hummus here is sooo good. The view you have of the valley from here is spectacular if you go on a good clear day. Service is great and very friendly staff. Definitely recommend this place.

When in kodai, you gotta visit Altaf's cafe. The view is beautiful but last time I went there, there was just to much going in terms of construction and additional tables and a bit chaotic. The Mediterranean food is pretty good and the place is great to hang out for long hours with nice tea and some snacks(if there's none behind your back waiting to grab your table).
