This is one of my go to place and we visited here after the lockdown must say all the safety measures was really taken care of very well.
Recommended Drums of heaven and garlic fish as starters. Fish was awesome in taste and had a blend of garlic and sauces. Main course five spice chicken. Try to have it with dry fried rice. With Mugdha
One of my favourite Chinese restaurant in Kolkata.Visited last week after lockdown as I was craving for Chinese food..As usual they didn't fail to amaze our taste buds...food was wowww...most importantly, sanitization process is excellent than many renowned restaurants...we ordered chicken mushroom clear soup,mixed hot and sour soup, Tung fong spl fish,mixed fried rice and Shanghai chicken....they never compromise with the quality...very tasty food

Considering the price, the quantity is fair. The quality is good as well. The place was quite good with good crowd however, it seemed that the staff were in a hurry to clean the table and make way for the next guest, which made us feel awkward. Rest, you should surely visit this place for food at affordable prices.
I have gone to Tung Fong twice during the unlock period and I am more than impressed with their safety measures and service. starting from the entrance till the bill payment they have thoroughly sanitized the chair tables, dishes, bills, everything. all the waiters are equally sincere about wearing masks etc. Anyone desiring to go out and eat but hesitating about whether it will be safe or not, don't think twice to choose this restaurant! ❤

One of the best Chinese restaurant in Park street area, its a very famous restaurant. I have been visiting tung fung since a long time, and it's of my favourite restaurant. They have many items, the place is cool and calm. Service is also very good.
Tung Fong is very famous for there classic Chinese cuisine, we all know the owner of Tung Fong yes very famous Monika liu. I visit this place at the day of my birthday ,there was huge crowd because of valentine's day but why we wait for 1hr 30 min the answer is food yes "khane ke lie will wait " yes and it was worth it . There service, management, handling the crowd in a proper manner , quantity and quality of food each and everything was perfect .
So in frame: Goleden Jumbo Prawn (signature dish), Chicken Fried Rice and Kung pao chicken.
Overall experience was very good , highly recommended
The food here is really good. If you're in and around the park Street area and in mood for some good Tibetan food, do drop in here. The wontons were the tastiest I've ever tasted around the city. The quantity is sufficient enough for two people and the portion vs price ratio is perfect.

On occassion of my brother's anniversary many months before we ordered for side dish honey Chicken dry for side dish we took prawns in black bean sauce and along with it we took egg chicken fried rice. It was worth the money. And no one can literally beat their quality and taste. We really enjoyed the anniversary treat .

Lovely place. One of my favourite Chinese restaurants. Should visit to try Chinese. Red chilli pepper chicken is the best on the starters and kung fao chicken and Cantonese noodles are just love. One should visit every week.
I am really impressed by their service the price was so reasonable and the taste was really up to the mark, I would recommend everyone to please give a visit over here and I am sure it wouldn't disappoint you.
If you want to have the BEST DRUMS OF HAVEN in the city, you must try TUNG FUNG. And dont forget to have it with the special red sause that they import from some other country. Its awesome!!!

Tung Fong is one of the famous and lovely restaurant for its Chinese cuisines. Which is located at Parkstreet area near Mocambo.
• Ambience of this place is superb and beautiful wooden structures and chair table are really great.
• This restaurant is spacious and they have seating arrangement of more or less 40 persons at once.
• I had tried their Chilli Garlic Paper fish and Crispy Baby Prawn as a starter. And its was amazing in taste.
• I had tried Mix Schezwan rice , Fortune Chicken Rice , Chilly Garlic noodles , Kung Pao Chicken, Lam in Garlic and Swa Chilly Chicken as a main Course. All these foods were so flavourful and most delicious in taste.
• last but not least I had tried Thums up and Sweet Lime soda were so refreshing and helped to digestion.
•Quantity and quality of each item was enough and up to the mark. Service is fast and staffs are courteous and helped us to choose the right item . Price are appropriate according to the quality and quantity of food.

On our new year date we decided to have our lunch in tung fung. Wanted to visit this place for a long long time. And on such a auspicious day wanted to have good chinese so this place was the perfect choice to go to.
We had to wait a half an hr as there was long queue.
So after going inside we ordered:-
●Chicken fried wonton- it tasted the way it should have been.
●Smoked lamb( highly recommended)-one of the best lamb starter i have ever came across in this city so definitely add this to your list.
●Fortune rice-the name was so different from the other rice dishes so thought of giving it a try and one of my close pal also suggested it and it tasted really good it was v.simple yet delicious!
●Hong kong chicken- the chicken pieces were very soft and it tasted v.yummy!
All overall the experience was great.
And like this our new year date went v.well !

Ordered non veg manchow soup,mixed hakka chowmein,kung pao fish (half) and chocolate brownie.loved everything except the quantity of the main was too small compared to the price.
The food here is just awesome and within reasonable price. The the only problem here is the lady owner. She is very rude to every customer as if like all customers are eating free of cost.
One of Legendary Restaurant Of Kolkata. This place is famous for chinese, Continental and alcohol. Their service is so fast. Visited here several time... This time ordered Mixed Fried Rice and Boneless Chilli Chicken. At the price of 240 one plate of Fried rice is easily shareable among 3. And in Chilli chicken they provides 14 moderate pieces of Chicken. Taste wise so so good.

Tung Fong is my all time favourite. It is situated in the park street area. It serves awesome chinese food at a reasonable price. The ambience and staff services of this restaurant is also very good. I tried here Chicken Drums Of Heaven, Chilli Garlic Pepper Fish, Mixed Chilli Garlic Noodles, Mixed Fried Rice, Mixed Gravy Noodles and Shanghai Chicken. All the dishes are just lip smacking delicious.
Apart form the waiters and the security guards urge to collect tips, Everything was fine.

This is really very good with a classy decor and nice clientele..i really loved it, but they served drums of heaven dry, authentically drums of heaven always dipped in one sauce, but when i said they did it in chilli garlic sauce, but somehow i felt it would have been much better, as this restaurant is very famous in park St for its authentic Chinese taste.. overall it was a nice experience...

I went Tung Fong for the very first time on Christmas day. Another perfect chinese place in the town. We tried Crispy chilli fish and butter chicken strips starters. Both were full plate aka 12 pcs. We tried Mixed rice noodles, mixed american chopsuey, mixed garlic noodles, honey chicken and kung pao lamb. And Honey chicken was really a hidden gem.Surely we will visit again.

The place is quite spacious and have good sitting arrangements.

Service was quick and staff were polite.
Special mention for this outlet is their quantity of each item. Each item is enough for two persons easily. Taste of the items were good too.

I have been to this place several times and it offers great Chinese food . The taste and quality is maintained over the years. The golden fried prawns is a signature starter over here.
The place is well lit and spacious with adequate distance between tables. Also one important thing to be mentioned is that the service is much better than most other older counterpart eateries of the locality.

I opted for chicken drums of heaven As a starter. It had a thin bater nd the meat was relatively soft and juicy.

Went with family - two of us and our kids, to celebrate our 24th anniversary. The toss up was Mocambo which offered us table after 30 minutes. Tung Fong it was then. Your prices are always little steeper but makes up with immaculate service and fantastic culinary offerings.
Starters came in the form of wafers and cheeselings - my daughter liked the rotary table top which she manouevered to get the cheeselings her side! This explains the slightly higher prices. Starters were Red Pepper chicken and Chilli Shrimp balls, both amazing with right flavours and texture. Rice Noodles followed (my daughters carb choice) and she did justice with black laquer chopsticks. This is really impressive. The Thai Garlic chicken was adequately spicy and it was a job to finish off, which all 4 of us did.
We spoke about Tung Fong quality since mid 2004, dont come here often but never disappointed. Keep up the high standards and avoid indiscriminate franchising.
Tung Fong doesn't need an introduction for Calcuttans. But it was a first visit for us and it didn't disappoint at all!! All time Indo-Chinese classics will surely please your taste buds! But a must try I would say is the Red Pepper Fish!! Man!! It's the best ever Chinese fish I have ever tasted!! Such succulent pieces, such flavours!! Awesome! Great place to have your dinner. In my opinion this is one of the best in parkstreet. I have already visited there twice. I love its ambience. Also their food is delicious.

I was expecting a more oriental look and feel especially after hearing about it so much about it from my friends. The ambience was rather plain except for the waiting area which was quite well decorated with a fancy marble chandelier.
The waiter was quite adamant and did not let us sit at the middle because it was for large group and another area because it was gents section. We saw a lady sitting there later. It was not a very huge request, given it was totally empty. Minus 1 point for this.
We ordered chicken wonton soup ,special yang chu fried rice and chili garlic lamb.
The chicken wonton soup came rather plain ,however with the addition of vinegar, pepper and sweet chili sauce it tasted great. It came with 6 wontons, where the filling was quite small but the wrappers were very thin and is difficult to make and super delicious.
The special yang chu fried rice was normal fried rice that had lots of lamb chunks and prawns and chicken pieces. The lamb pieces were quite soft.
Chili garlic lamb had lots of small pieces of lamb and they too were soft(The reason why I say its soft,is because I recently had a horrendous time with tough lamb at a famous restaurant).It was mildly spicy.The quality of food was quite good.
It costed us 900 .

Situated at a prime location, this restaurant is highly recommended for its Chinese dishes.
For starters, we had Butter Pepper Garlic chicken (10/10), golden fried prawn (8/10) as the prawn size was not big with respect to the price.
For the main course, we had mixed fried rice, mixed chowmein, Hot garlic fish and Kung pao chicken. Please note they serve mutton slices in mixed fried rice. Quantity and quality wise, I will give 10/10.
We had a couple of drinks like Cosmopolitan, Ballantine and Chivas Regal.
The ambience is nice and if you are a group of 6-7, then there's a chance you will be seated in a round table where you can rotate the table top. That is really thoughtful as there are times when we need to pass the food to others at the table.
The waiters were nice and suggested as per our taste. They are really helpful.

Without drinks - Rs. 500-600 approx
Overall, the restaurant is top-notch and the price was moderate. Be sure to visit.

It has a grandiose ambiance with fine architecture and a grand golden sphere on the centre top of the restaurant.

The food is good only it doesn't accommodate you well, this is our annual puja dining space my family loves it here and so do i. I would always recommend this place for authentic as well as the best chinese in town!

The place is great, the atmosphere is pleasant and very calm. One of old Kolkata places, you can't miss out on it. The drinks are cheaper than you'd expect, but the cocktails are not up to standard. The food is pretty good. The service is a bit lazy. But overall, great.

This Chinese Restaurant is situated at the end of Park Street carrying all the authenticity with it. One of the finest Chinese restaurants in Kolkata. Specially the prawn dishes are a must try. Lemon Prawn r Honey Prawn are a must. Rice noodles and special noodles are also delicious. I have tried them thrice and they never disappointed.
