This is undoubtedly one of the best place to dine in Kolkata. The food here looks like pieces of art served on a plate and tastes equally delicious. The ambience is great and the service is equally great. One of the best thing I loved about their service was the call which I received from them the following day regarding the feedback of their overall experience. I'm definitely looking forward to visit this place again.
I will say this is the best Chinese restaurant.. Awesome ambience, delicious food.The dimsums are a must..Even the Hong Kong rice was something I had never tasted before even in other premiere Chinese restaurants..The quantity is a bit less,but the quality makes up for this..

Yauatcha has been in my bucket list for sometime and it certainly lived up to it's name. Food quality here is great. We had chicken Shanghai dimsum, chicken stir fry, hot and sour soup with shredded chicken, steamed betki in black bean sauce, chicken fried rice and rasberry delice for dessert. The dimsums were infact so good that we had a second helping of that. Staff is very courteous and the ambience is classy. Pocket pinch is a bit on the higher side, but having zomato pro helps.

So we went there and ordered spicy mahlak chicken with sesame oil and egg fried rice. Though I expected to be more spicy as the name suggests but it was not. It had a kind of tangy flavour maybe because of sauce, but the amount of chicken, mushroom are enough. Egg fried rice has nothing special in it. But it was tasty.
Nice place to take your friends out to. Fairly well curated menu, and lots of options to choose from. Ambiance is a bit confusing, a Japanese restaurant should be more aesthetically pleasing. However the food makes up for it.
This place has some amazing interiors and the dishes are heaven. This place is one of the very few restaurants in Kolkata that serve authentic Asian cuisines. The price is a bit on the upper side but it's worth every penny, and by the freshness of the ingredients they use it's understandable. You should definitely try this place out.
Went there before quarentine. The ambience is minimalistic yet cozy. For starters we had duck rolls and dumplings. Dumplings were find but the duck roll was beyond good.. It just melts in your mouth, outer part is really nice and crisp and inside soft and filled with bomb flavours. Rolls were going perfect with the sauce given. For main course we had vermacili noddles and one side dish, those were also impressive. For desserts we had chocolate hazelnut mousse and raspberry delice both the desserts were clean, fresh and bright but the mousse had a dominating citrus flavour which effected the balance of the dessert. And the raspberry dessert was fine as wine.. Hope to visit this place soon 😊

We had soo much of food. Was there with my family and my in laws together , so was a huge group! Considering their quantities, we had to order atleast three of each starter for a group of 7!

This was a planned visit back in June 19’ for my mother’s birthday celebration lunch and Yauatcha as it’s name stands for as I’d heard from my acquaintances, didn’t fail at any grounds to amaze me.
Starting of with the gorgeous and eye soothing decor of the restaurant! Well.. if you’re looking for some classy dining experience in the city then this should be on top of your charts!
For starters we had ordered:
• Jasmine Green Tea which was really healthy and served hot in a beautiful pot.
• Chicken and Prawn Shangai Dumplings and it was for the first time that I was actually having multiple colour dumplings.
• Crispy Duck Salad which were so brilliantly prepared and presented.
Coming to the taste well... again Yauatcha does excel in that Department! So yes overall great experience! ☺️
For desserts we had ordered:
• The signature Raspberry Delice and it tasted so beautiful and the garnish is a sheer form of art from the master-chefs!
• Chocolate pebble... yet another awesome dessert preparation!
The staff were really dedicated and polite and took every bit of effort to make our presence worthy of appraisal!

It was my first try of such a different cuisine and I do not regret my decision of visiting this place as I really loved the food. It was amazing and the service and the way they offered to suggest good food and their special dishes. Worth the price and their classy service is something which people will definitely fall for but I myself loved their service and quality of food. Not too great quantity wise but amazingly tasty😍

Yauatcha has a lot to offer, from classy decor to Dim-sums and great cocktails. Located at the Quest mall in central Kolkota. The also have combo options which includes Drinks- Starters- Mains and Desserts.
From the starter, prawn sesame roll to the veg soup to the flat noodles to the steamed seabass , each and every dish was flavourful and well presented. A delightful meal with my girl friends. Service with a smile by Ayan made the luncheon experience even better.

During my visit last month had the opportunity to dine at Yauatcha, Kolkata. Since I'm a huge fan of this fancy Cantonese restaurant in Bengaluru, I couldn't let this chance slip by. As expected everything was top notch. The only thing that did hurt was the service. A Michelin star restaurant is expected to have impeccable service where this place fell short of. The staff was catering to our needs but at a slow pace. Had to call out to them most of the time whenever we needed something. Apart from that the ambiance was too good. Accompanied by the amazing view, we enjoyed the food to the last bit.
Eating at Yauatcha is completely different experience. Awesome. Food, service, presentation everything.

A great place to dine. Authentic food that will not be available anywhere else. Interesting options for cocktail as well. But the service is worth mentioning. Visited this amazing restaurant and all the staff were very courteous. Food was very good and i am going to recommend the Har Gau (shrimp dumpling) which was a 10/10 for me.

Went there over the weekend. When we reached around 8 it was empty but in an hour the place was full and it felt like a noisy bar than a fine dining experience. Nevertheless the courteous staff and great food made up for the ambience. Definitely their smoked ribs are the best and surprisingly we tried their veggies in Sichuan sauce which was terrific. We dined at Yauatcha on New Year's eve. The service was very good. The ambience was sophisticated and pleasing. I loved the dimsum basket and the Cheung fan. The chocolate dessert with honeycomb icecream was also a worth try. Unfortunately they didn't have any hot beverages available, otherwise would have loved to end the meal with something warm and soothing.

Prawn Cheung fung is excellent. Chicken fried rice is worth tasting. King Paul chicken was good. To our surprise we loved the Pecan Coffee Delice...it was superb.
The dumplings and udon noodles were great, and came out pretty quick. The lavender earl-grey was among the most well-crafted cocktails I've had in Kolkata. Service and ambience were great too. No complaints.
It was great experience overall for our visit to this restaurant.

We had a prawn item and a pork momo in the starter. For the main course we had duck. All the items are awesome. We celebrated our 10th anniversary here and the last surprise from Ehtesham (stuff) was mind blowing. A must visit.

I liked how they treated me at the restaurant. What I loved the most was the cocktails and the desserts. The fried rice was good . But the dimsum was utter disappointment. Had their . Kung Pao chicken, beg fried rice , spicy veg fried rice , sweet corn soup , chocolate pebble , hazelnut mousse , plum cut larrisa, citrus martini , and chicken and Shanghai dumplings . Would have loved if the dimsums were better. Though the staffs were courteous .

The decor is very sleek and minimalistic and is aided by a great view of the South Kolkata skyline. The servers are courteous and are helpful and ready with suggestions.
And the food with its myriad subtle flavours is amazing! They serve some great dumplings. We had the chicken wrapped in pak choy with Schezwan sauce and the lamb roll in black pepper sauce. Both were great, I especially recommend the Lamb roll in black pepper sauce. Then we had the aromatic chicken fried rice (we opted out of the spicy XO sauce) and took the braised chicken cooked in claypot and the Xinjiang lamb curry. Both the curries were delicious. In dessert, we ordered the chocolate pebble and chocolate hazelnut mousse. Both tasted great!
Went on Dasami . When most places in kolkata was people were giving incorrect info when calling the restaurant to find out wait time . This place took our reservation and actually did not make us wait. The atmosphere is great. Seating arrangement was nice and the service was impeccable. I love the Dimsum and the chicken starter . The Entree was good we opted for Chinese. The most delightful part was the dessert it was so yumm . Overall a great place . Yes it’s expensive but worth the price

Having been on my to visit lists for a long time, I'd say the long overdue visit was quite nicely paid off.
Speaking of Ambience, the place is pretty spacious w/ a gorgeous decor & a beautiful atmosphere that is conveniently coupled w/ comfortable seats that accommodate both big & small groups. Alongside, is a Bar Section that too, is well maintained & vivid.
Service is fine as well, it can be a bit laggy on busy days but other than that, it is prompt & accurate.
Coming to Food, I loved what I had here. Dumplings & Desserts are absolute must haves at this place. Even their Cheung Funs are pretty good. Recommendations would be their Edamame Truffle Dumplings, Pork Char Siu Bun, Chicken Shumai & Chocolate Pebble.

I love this place. With its classy decor it is a perfect date place. Their dimsums are the best in town. I also liked their egg rice. But the absolute show stopper has to be their desserts. Raspberry delice is one of the best desserts i have had. The place is a bit overpriced but definitely worth a visit.
A lovely and cozy place to be in. Me with my friends, Saikat Das and Ramita Sarkar went there for Ashtami lunch and we are highly satisfied with the service, food and ambience. Right from starter to dessert, each food item was utterly delicious and served in good quantity. Though they were not serving the 5-course meal during the Puja, but we wish to visit again and try it anytime soon!

Okay, so this has to be one of my new favorite restaurants in the town. I don't know why it took me so long to finally try this one out. I'm not at all a Chinese food person, but yauatcha changed my mind. We ordered crispy prawn Cheung fun(boy, it was heavenly), pork& prawns fried rice and Kung Pao chicken. For beverages,we had one kiwi & lime flavoured mocktail and one kingfisher premium. Their desserts are pretty amazing too. We had the much recommended raspberry delice and strawberry velvet cheesecake. Both were damn good. Definitely coming back for a crispy platter of Cheung fun soon.
Dinner with sisters and unfortunately in a weekday also, it was crowded and thus missed the window side table. Coming to the foods, if you like dumplings, this is the place to be. Authentic and well made dumplings and also tried the Tiramisu. As it is a premium restaurant, it will cost that much as it is providing exceptional services and foods. Reservation is mandatory.
Gopal took care of us with great care and attention. We tried six different types of Dim Sums. Each variety had a specific flavor and was super delicious. We ill definitely come here again.
Okay so we went there today had an awesome dining experience. This Chinese cuisine restaurant quite famous in city for its fine dining. We had 1)Crispy Prawn Cheung Fun(their signature dish which we felt was okayish)
2) Sliced Lamb in kam heyong sauce(must try) (the juicy texture of lamb was to melt for).
Along with these we had beer (they have Kingfisher premium,Hoegarden & Corona)
3)Raspberry delice(best thing of the day)(this dessert item comes with raspberry mousse shaped in the form of red rose along with lychee ice cream) (must try)(mix the mousse & ice cream for a better dessert experience)
If you want to taste something different yet of Asian essence then Yauatcha is your place. Very subtle yet flavourful meals and a marvelous service experience. I will give an extra point for the cleanliness and hygiene that they are following.

Till now one of the best Chinese restaurant I have went in Kolkata.
I just cannot comment on the ambience, because it’s too much aesthetic and you can take as many as pictures you want and you can take your time there with your friends, family partner and have a long chat with the foods .
About the service, all the people were so amazing and so helpful and so polite, till now I didn’t receive anything like this from any of the restaurant. In some restaurant, I have received good behaviour but yeah you can get very home and kind feeling from those people.
Let’s talk about the foods, it’s totally dam amazing tasteful. It has no too much oil not too much fried. But then also you can have amazing taste in your mouth. All the items I have taken by closing my eyes because in the language they have written it’s not at all understanding for some new comers there. But trust me you can just take any of the foods and you can have amazing time there.
Just make sure if you have allergy then let them know then they will suggest you in a different way.
This is the first time I have given five star to some restaurant and I’m glad I went there .
Let’s talk about the price, it’s a bit higher than other restaurant because it’s just not simple Indian foods, did you create and they make you feel like you are in Japan or China or Korea.
Trust me if you go there, then you will have a great time. And if you are fond of Indian foods, mostly then do not go there, because you won’t get too much oily foods. You will get very sophisticated and very aesthetic and sober food there (kinda boiled and roasted) .

It's in quest Mall 5th floor, we went on a Saturday, August 19, 2023. We chose to have there newly started pre set menu which is Weekend Supreme Brunch. For the first time I got to know that a restaurant serves unlimited cocktails with limited meals and no mocktails. Since I am a vegetarian and don't take alcohol I requested them to please get me a mocktail of they can to which they agreed on a condition that mocktail would be limited to one only. Well coming to food, first was a veg sweet corn soup, then two types of dimsums, then the main course noodles and some tofu and then the desert with a mocktail. That's it. Dimsums were limited to three pc , so both the dimsums equals to 6 pcs . The quantity is only good for one person. They charge service tax on the bill of about 10%on their own. Well those who love to have cocktails will love it as it's unlimited. The ambience is nice and the staff members were good too. Dimsums were wow. Soup was so so. Main course rice is better than the noodles. Mocktail served was yummy. The cheque for one person would come to around Rs. 2250/-.
the prawn cheung fun is a must try. it is one of the most unique dishes i have ever tried. the ambience is beautiful.
to have a complete dinning experience try the taste of yauatcha. it is a 5 course meal which has options you can choose from.
overall a beautiful place with service which is a tad bit slow .
Really this was my first time visit in such a lovely place. The ambience was nice, loved the view from the top floor. We went for lunch (family lunch) the view of sunset was bliss. The food was delicious, mind-blowing too good to taste. We took one prawn dish which was just fabulous as the prawns were so perfectly cooked and tasted unique. The rice was also awesome and everything was remarkable. Loved each and every food be it drinks,soup,starter, icecream and the main course. The price was definitely high though but yes the quality I would say didn't disappoint me neither we face any problem after consuming so much food in one day 😂😂
Really good and luxurious restaurant , Chinese restaurant and anyone can easily eat here , food is explained properly and excellent service , very posh place and awesome view.

This place serves the best quality of dumplings/ dim sum in all of Kolkata. The behaviour of all the staff are very good, caring and cooperative. Must try try the Zhongzi! The service charge should not be levied forcefully on the customers!!
