So we went for a date few months ago and we choose this restaurant to have something to fill our tummy. From the outside the appearance was appealing so we decided to go inside to look for the variety of choice this restaurant was offering. With our surprise we found that this restaurant has a lot of items in the menu, most items we never heard about it actually before 😅 so we look into the menu and we found something that we can trust on it a bit which was Fire of Bengal; a pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella, spicy mutton, green chillies and fresh coriander leaves as a toppings. We are rating this pizza 4 star because we felt like the tomato sauce was less, and the quantity of mutton could be little bit more but have to say that the cheese was in a perfect amount. A little flavour can be enhanced. Pizza was of large size basically 8 pieces of them which was more than the capacity of our tummy 🙈, it is actually enough for 4 people. Overall ambience of the restaurant was quite and nice and we liked it. A date which we are going to remember 😊 we wish to visit there once again and would like to try more item's

One of those places that has been dishing out great food since I was a kid, Fire and Ice has maintained its standard of serving some of the best Italian food in town till date.
Their pastas, salads and pizzas are oh-so-yum and with a chilled beer on the side, it's one of my go-to places for lunch in the Park Street Area.
One of my absolute favourites on their menu is from their Antipasti section - Rondelle di Patate Fritte which are crispy and light fried potato slices served with dips. So damn good!
I also love their Antipasto Misto (in picture) which is the perfect plateful of small bites. Caprese salad, sauted mushrooms, French beans, pickled carrots, artichoke, Focaccia, olive & tomato bruschetta and a bowl of punchy pesto! What more can one want?
Of course, their pizzas to share are also fabulous - they've got their sauce and pizza base on point - top it off with your favourite meat and veg and you'll be wishing every day was pizza day!!!!

Cool ambience with amazing posters, lighting and music. You will get the feeling of being in a retro pub. Good Italian and continental food. Pizza and Lasagna were remarkable with some glasses chilled beer adding some extra seasoning.
It is the best italian hotel in kolkata . pizza and carbonara is delicious food of fire and ice. And their price cheap.

Had an amazing dinner few days back here at this restaurant. Situated near the Maidan Metro Station this place serves amazing Pizzas and few other Italian Delicacies. Went on a weekday but shocked to see the crowd. It was fully packed. Lovely ambiance with nice pantings and sitting arrangements are modern. Staff is well aware of the dishes, they’re good with suggestions and they’re friendly.
Coming to the food. We had one Half and Half pizza of Prosciutto and Terra e Mare which was delicious, fresh and very nicely flavoured. Good amount of cheese and toppings. Tried the Fire of Bengal as well and it was fantastic. Pizza with some Indian flavours and it was great.
Will definitely recommend this place as it serves very authentic pizza and it’s worth the price. Will definitely visit when in the town next time.

This place is located near maidan metro station. The ambience reminded me of the '70s bollywood and Hollywood. We ordered prosciutto e funghi pizza which was very perfectly made with a thin crust and enough ham and mushrooms. The service was prompt and they also guided us through the menu which was really helpful.
I have been a regular here.. the food here is a benchmark in Italian but off late their pizzas aren’t as good as they used to be and need to be worked upon.

Been there after quite sometime. My wife wanted to have an authentic Italian food. So this is a go to place for Italian cuisine in central kolkata. They serve authentic Italian food and drinks as well.
We had ordered Fire of Bengal and loved it. It's enough for 3 for dinner if you have ordered some appetizers. It's a thin crust pizza with spicy mutton amongst others. A rare find in pizza varieties and a must try!

Definitely worth a visit for the pizza lovers in town.
One of the best and most authentic places in the city for Italian food, especially pizza. Very conveniently located near Maidan metro station, this place is usually occupied by office goers. They have quite an elaborate menu with lots of veg options as well. The gnocchi is a very nicely prepared dish. The pizzas, pastas, risottos and gelatos are a huge hit, too! Service is prompt and polite. Slightly expensive (they include service charge in the bill).
I must say this joint serves on of the best pizzas in town.Try the Proscuitto Funghi with mozzarella and ham.

My favourite pizza place in town. The one and only destination for folded pizza. They nail it and how! Spaghetti with meatballs also acts as the magnet. And the price is every bit worth. I mean, look at the quantity! The ambience, too, is oh-so-perfect.
Located in the heart of the city, fire and ice I think is kolkata’s first authentic pizzeria. With a casual cafe like feel, the menu has a wide range to offer... have been here many many times and overall the food has been way above good most of the times... at times though I find it pricey... must try - garlic focaccia with cheese, rondelle, veg lasagne, la contadina pizza (spinach and fresh feta) and their Nutella crepe !

The food was Undoubtedly delicious .Being my 1st experience.What the most we liked was Chips with the 2 kinds of dips (mint & tomato).

Loved this place at once. This place has a very good ambience and an even better crowd .Ordered Pizza it was undoubtedly delicious . They did take time to deliver the order , may be because the place was crowded. Only drawback , felt it to be a bit overpriced. But definitely worth a try.

I have always wanted to visit this place and could finally agree with the 'Best Italian' recommendations. Being absolutely stuck to the earthy yet classic decor Fire and Ice brings out the best. The garlic bread and lasagna tradizionale (lamb) were exceptionally good.
But the Calzone al prosciutto stands out. The perfect calzone ever had. Applause! From the desserts, the Cream caramel and Chocolate mousse are quite subtle and satisfactory.
Visited this place for a birthday celebration and really amazed by the decor and mood of this place! We ordered the proscuitto funghi, paesana, pepperoni pizzas. The pizzas were absolutely delicious! The gnocci was average. They take time to deliver the order and that was a bit irritating. However, this place is overpriced. Overall, the dining experience was good!
One of the best places in town to have pizza. Taste is good and also it feels light after eating. I also tried their pasta. It was undercooked, so I wouldnt recommend pasta for anyone. For dessert i tried their walnut cake, its amazing!

I visited this place for the first time on 18/1/2019 in the evening. It was mostly empty, and the decor really caught my eye. The set of framed posters of various films on the back wall of the restaurant was a truly pleasing feature. I started off with a plate of Pesto Spaghetti and a glass of Virgin Mary. I'm no connoisseur, but I loved both. The mocktail had real bite and was immensely refreshing, and the spaghetti was smooth too. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the place. The basil sauce in which the spaghetti was served seemed somewhat strange to me at first, but I adjusted to it and it became largely palatable, if slightly strong. Thenain attraction, the Fire of Bengal Pizza, and while it took some time to cook, it was well worth the wait. It was one of the best dishes I've ever tasted, to be frank, and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. It was costly, no doubt, but it was humongous and extremely delicious. The mutton keema really hot the spot, the mozzarella was as amazing as ever, and the addition of coriander leaves secured a truly fine dish. Add chilli flakes and oregano in slight quantities, and you have a winner. I finished 95% of it,bid venture to say, but it is ideally best suited to two people. Next came the Apple Pie with Gelato, and it was a perfect way to end the meal. My first encounter with both the above went really well. It wasn't too sweet, to my palate anyway, and it was soft and perfect. The whole meal came to a somewhat excessive ₹ 2050/-, but that is the way with this place. I do have a few complaints, though. The person attending me was not on the top of his game, I'd have to say, and he'd forgotten to serve me the Dessert Menu and had only done so on being reminder of the same by me. My water had also not been filled with the frequency I wanted. I'd initially ordered a Cocoloco, but the contents had run out and I couldn't be served the same. The items, except the pizza, were certainly overpriced, I felt, but the overall experience was quite good, and I'm coming back here again soon, and most definitely with another person, as there is so much more yet to sample.

Looking at all the reviews and my wait of nearly 3 years somehow am a bit disappointed with my experience.
(Mind you all - the place still serves you awesome food but somehow my expectation was so much that it got missed somewhere)
Have literally had to wait 3 years to visit this place and somehow every time it got missed/skipped due to some reason or the other. . But me glad i visited the place. .
Food : Great taste but somehow i felt some very minute flaws in them (My high expectation level probably made me think those)
a.)The Cheese Garlic bread - Yummy Tummy and full off cheese :)
b.)The Pizza (Pizza Alle Verdure Miste) - Loved the taste and topping mixture.Being a thin crust pizza towards the top the crust became very hard/over baked.(Something which can be improved)
c.) Aglio - Olio - The presentation made it look so bland and half cooked , but glad after tasting it became much better. .
Ambience : Typical park Street ambience and too many people chirping around you
Hospitality : Courteous and helpful staff.
Price Group : The tricky part - The place is costly and one needs to surely take care of his pocket.

This pizza is by far the best of the best pizzas we have eaten anywhere in India for that matter..
The staff was courteous, the ambiance was cute and warm (we loved the tiny tea-light candles on each table), the food was mind blowing..

The pizza we ordered was called “Paesana” Topped with parmesan and mozzarella cheese, along with tomato sauce, zucchini, spinach (palak leaves), bacon and we asked them to add chicken too and it turned out to be perfection in every bite.
Their prices are high for the quality of food. It's quite a pinch on the pocket. The liquor prices are high too. It's hard to get past that issue, so I'm not sure if we can visit this place again anytime soon. We ordered the veg crostini, tomato cream soup and ham and mushroom pizza. They were good, but maybe not value for money. The ambience is nice overall.

Location: just opposite to the maidan metro gate
Ambience: well lit restaurant with photographs of English and Hindi movies hanging on the walls. The seating area overlooks the bar and the kitchen, where you can see your pizza being made in the oven.
Beverages: we ordered two Heineken
Food: we went with their classic Fire of Bengal pizza, which is a thin crust pizza covered with generous amount of mozzarella cheese , mutton keema and chilies. The pizza had a perfect balance of crispy and doughyness. It was topped with coriander leaves.

Fire and Ice is a cracker of a pizzeria on Middleton St in the Park St Area. Loved the Fire of Bengal - minced mutton with extra green chillies and some more on the side for added fire. The mocktails are tasty - they will cool the fire down.

Located bang opposite Jeevan Deep buldg., this restaurant painted in red and white welcomes you with red liveried , smiling waiters. They have an enviable collection of liqueur, which i avoided, though.
I ordered the 12" Polo Pizza . This thin crust pizza is easily shared by two. It was washed down with Ice-cream soda which was once very popular but now difficult to find and almost extinct.
I must also mention their washroom - pretty clean and dry.

Located near Maidan metro, this place has decor from the films shot in Italy. It is quite spacious and serves good Italian food. The pizza it serves is the closest to the Italian pizza that you will find in Kolkata. Somebody like me who has lived in Italy and is picky about pizza may be not totally happy, but still I would say it is quite decent. Well, I won't complain at all even if it is not the best quality anchoves, would you ? We had Bruschetta and cream of tomato soup and it also tasted very good.

This place serves almost authentic Italian cuisine and is known especially for the mouth watering thin crust pizzas. This is the only outlet for now, though sometime back they had another at Deshapriya Park which has been closed for lack of liquor license I guess....so friends if you want to savouries loaded thin crust pizzas or anttipasti...come to this place
We had paesana...a 12 inch delight topped with fresh tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, bacon, wilted spinach, sliced zucchinis and garlic...and the omnipresent parmesan cheese...heavenly..douse your slices in extra virgin olive oil and enjoy...
Penne Al forno...baked penne in bechamel sauce with chicken bits and ubiquitous parmesan is another favorite...
The mocktail Fire and Ice Delight wasn't up to the same standard... supposed to be a heady concoction of mixed berries topped with lemonade...I found it too sweet.. overpowering the berry flavors...
Probably the best place to have some real thin-crust, wood-fired pizzas in Calcutta! This place has been set up by Annamaria Forgione ,a Neapolitan.So you get to have some authentic Italian pizza right here. The pizzas are definitely not cheap but are humongous. Mix it up with some red wine and have a splendid time with the beautiful and classy ambience.
Located near Maidan metro, this restaurant is pretty big and well decorated, food and staffs were awesome, we ordered Calzone Al Prosciutto and 🍺. Price was bit on the higher side. One should definitely visit the restaurant.

Long back when there were few eateries in Kolkata, Fire and Ice used to be a top pick when we wanted to relish some Italian food. I happened to visit decade old restaurant after a long time.
We ordered:
>Half N Half Pepperoni and Pollo Pizza-The pepperoni was tasty but the Pollo was okish.
>Focaccia with melted mozzarella cheese- This was soft and cheesy. I had added some oregano because it's a little flat, but you can avoid it. #recommended
>Lasagna Tradizionale-lamb- The best item according to me. Tasty and filling. #musttry
The best part is that the ambience still remains the same even after so many years.

We went as a whole family, about 12 of us, with kids ages 2 to 8 years old also. The Italian food they offered was excellent. We ordered a wide variety of different pizzas, pastas, and soup. The taste was really unique. The herbs they used were very fresh and tasted amazing. Overall, it was an excellent experience since the service they provided was also very good. I was amazed that it was also very centrally located, near Tata Centre on Chowrangi Road close to Loretta College, in Kolkata, India.

Really good Italian food. One of the few places in the city which has manages to stay consistent with their quality and taste. Yes, it’s a bit premium but the quality of their ingredients is also very good. The ambience is great and I love the ‘openness’ of the restaurant. The Italian menu is smashing 😋 Something as simple as soup was delectable and mouth watering. The main course is wonderful. It will satisfy all your senses. I personally chose from non pizza options. This is my first visit to this place and I am pretty impressed with this place. This place has pretty good ambience. The seating area is quite big and has an open bar. You will get all kind of fusion based foods. I recommend to try their specialty pasta items. 1 pasta is good enough for 2 person. They also serve huge pizzas, risotto and other Italian items. If you are a vegetarian there is no need to be disappointed as they have vegan based foods as well. The price is little on higher side. However, the food quality is really really awesome. The cocktail section is also good and has lots of varieties. If you are going out with friends and planning for a quick bite, you must visit this place. The pocket pinch is approximately 1000 for two. A recommended place to visit.
Located right next to the Maidan metro station, this is a beautifully decorated little restaurant in the heart of the city. Two of us comfortably shared the Fire of Bengal pizza, which I was initially skeptical about (mutton keema on pizza!) It turned out to be delightfully spicy, a wonderful combination of Bengali flavors and ingredients on a pizza. We also split a chocolate brownie for dessert and the combination was fantastic. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
