Who doesn’t know about this place in kolkata? This is a famous misti chain shop. Best mishti available here. I am in love with baked nolen gurer rasagolla. I love choclate sondesh as well. You can’t taste just one. Everyone in my family loves this place. Absolutely recommended
The epitome of bengal sweets lies in the treasure of Ballaram Mullick Sweets.
You name and you get it.
The quality and quantity both are justifiable.
Though ,the price confectioners are a little up the budget line for many consumers, yet the quality makes it all worth it! ❤️
Baked rosogolla is a must try!❤️
My go to place for mishti. Love their sandesh, sonpapri, flavoured sandesh, etc. Even their breads are nice. They also have sugarfree options.
My daily dose ..... a bengali in love with Mishti is an universal truth... its a fact which is prevailing since eras...
balaram mullick and radhaman mullick is like an addiction no one wants to get rid of....

This is the main outlet of Balaram Mallick...there are quite a few outlets of Balaram Mallick across the city...they are one of the oldest sweetmeat shop of South Kolkata...
One can say they are the answer to the sweetmeat shops of North Kolkata...
They are famous for fusion sweets...
Currently this outlet is going for an upgrade...they have now expanding vertically...with dedicated floor for different sweet items...
Their centralized kitchen is also located in this outlet...
Regarding hygiene and quality of sweet they never compromise...price is lil on the higher side...but then that's acceptable...👍👍
These days they are available on all online food delivery apps viz UberEats, Zomato, FoodPanda, Swiggy...
Recently I want to try the best baked rosogolla of Kolkata, as a sweet lover I want try the perfect one, so zomato show me that Balaram Mallick & radhararsmsn Mallick sweet shop just have the best baked rosogolla in Kolkata.. It's was just awesome and better than any other cake shop...I don't have the pastry photos with me... But if u will hav it u will definitely love it... Please rply after having it ok friends?
This place haa carved a niche for itself in the hearts of dessert lovers and gastronomic experts of the city. The aroma and taste along with the presentation of the sweets are mouth watering. We have had rasogolla, pantua, dab sandesh, misti doi, chocolate sandesh, baked rasogolla and many more. Doesn't even need a review, does this?
This place has quite grown, this place is one of my childhood favourite serves great quality and has many varieties, choosing a particular sweet is quite tough if visit any of there stores. The chocolate mistis are my current favourite from this place.
This outlet is very good. I just have one complaint that is that your sweets are too sweet in general. If the sweetness is reduced a touch bit then this is the best place for sweets
Undoubtedly the best sweet shop in South Kolkata. Love their mishti doi, rabri and a special mention to their baked roshogolla.
.
Overall a great experience. Recommended.
One of Bengal's most reputed sweet shops. One should especially try their speciality----- baked rosogolla. The chocolate based sweets are really good too. Price though a bit high, is acceptable, considering the delicacy they serve.
The best place for sweet tooth lovers in Kolkata city, they have all the possible range of sweets. Prices are bit high but considering the quality of food, it's worth it
I love their baked rossogolla and kachori aloo damm. Do try their Chocolate sandesh. One of the best sweet shops
I have tried their chocolate sandesh and other sweets also. The sweets are too good and the decorations of the sweets will amaze you.
Balaram Mullick - 4/5
When in Kolkata you gotta try Bengali sweets.
When I was leaving for Kolkata, I was seeking a recommendation for places where I would get great Roshogullas. Few acquaintances and ever bankable google pointed their fingers here and that's how I ended up at Balaram Mullick.
So first things first. Roshogullas were insanely good here. It was perfectly moist and didn't boast of sugary sweetness. It was difficult to stop after devouring only one. Incredible stuff!
My connection to Mishti Doi was through Oh Calcutta! And to be very honest it was disappointing. Well, whatever questions I had about the Mishti Doi hype was thrown out into the Hoogli River (just couldn't resist using this touristy analogy) by Balaram Mullick. It was that good!
Cham cham was another delightful delicacy to try at Balaram's. Though similar to Roshogulla, it was served in thickened sweet milk. Worth trying.
Shondesh was a bit underwhelming as it was too dry for my liking. I guess I have been swayed away too much by the sweet syrupy moistness of other Bengali sweets.
. . .
Well, I did miss out trying Baked Roshogullas for which Balaram is known. All I can hope is there is always a next time!
Authentic taste stays as it is, could have worked a bit more on the delivery style
A dream opportunity for a dedicated bong foodie finally comes to rest when he/she is at the pioneer outlet among Legendary Bengali Sweets. On my visit here as we are in a hurry thinking of grabbing to good delectable bites for craving our sweet tooth,we decided to dig into some pastries the other day and tried some unique one's such as Gur Pastry nd Choco cake with white choco topping all of which did'nt disappoint us at all.The outlet really is living upto it's name even today

When in Kolkata, how can I miss amazing Sandesh from Balaram Mullick & Radharam Mullick Sweets.
Even my friends & family in Mumbai ask me to get these when I am coming back. My all time favourite is Nolen Gur Sandesh. They have so many varieties of Sandesh to choose from, Blueberry, Chocolate, Mango, Baked Sandesh etc. This store is always full, service is good and fast too.
Ahhh!!! 😋 for the everyone who love to eat sweets like me.. Means sweet tooth person.. Then enlist it's name on the top of your list ... Their bhaifota plate is truly beautiful😍💓
Very nice place for some good sweets..
If u have a sweet tooth nd like tasting different kinds of sweets then this is the place for u..
The pricing is good nd quite affordable..
Known to this famous sweet shop joint, I decided to try out their Baked Mihidana. The taste of the baked mihidana really justifies the reputation that the sweet shop earned. I would love to visit again and would recommend their Baked Mihidana.
Overall Rating - 4/5
A perfect place for having snacks.
Must try their dhokla, corn cutlet, pizza and rasmalai.
Prices are little higher but taste of food items are much better and tastier.
Misti magic and balaram mallick. When it comes to pastry, sondesh , snacks balaram mallick is on top. We ordered radhaballvi, mango sufle and rabri, which all together costs 142 , a bit over priced. Yet in taste, texture it was mouth watering. Lovely place to visit & explore kolkata sweets.

As a misti lover this has always wondered my mind.. very tasty sweets and lots of variation. . Baked doi is my favourite. . Mango sweets are also so good..
Amazing place for ordering best sweets in Kolkata. One of the most best and great sweets you get here. It is expensive but it is worth it. Always I do ordered sweets from here. Very perfect place for ordering sweets
I ordered in via uber eats as it was a "veg day" and I wanted something tasty and I was not disappointed. Needless to mention, the packaging and taste were too good. I ordered:
1. Daal singara- very small samosa with a filling of whole dals with a lemony tang. I felt it was very very sour.
2. Mushroom patties- with literally a tinnnyyy bit of mushroom. It was more like a cabbage and capsicum patties.
3. Paneer patties- good to taste. The stuffing had distinct flavour of cloves which was alright.
4. Soya cutlet-loved it. Minced soyabean and capsicum and a great flavour. Too good!
5. Veg chop- taste was great, just as it should be.
6. Choco lava- one of it's kind. This is a heavenly sweet and very innovative as well.
Will definitely reorder to try their other items.
So perfect and delicious and best place to get the elegance in sweets😍
.
.
Ordered this delicious baked rasagolla form this place❤
Also the blueberry mishti doi is on point😍😍😍
.
.
It was as delicious as always.

Balaram Mullick and Radharaman Mullick is one of the best sweet shops in Kolkata and surrounding areas as already known to all. This outlet is located near Netaji Bhavan metro station or Jadubabu Bazar. They have variety of sweets and they are really of good quality. I had been at this outlet for twice. I really liked their behaviour, atmosphere and sandesh specially. Their potol sandesh is one of my favourite.
If you’re in Kolkata it is impossible to not know about this place. It is one of the oldest sweet shops in the city. The place is clean and tidy, most sweets shops take out place so there are no tables but you can stand and eat sweets and snacks. I ordered chocolate tart and donut. Donut was okay the dough was very dry and but it was the right amount of sweet. The chocolate tart is amazing. I usually don’t like tarts but here I liked it. This place is not really known for their western delicacies but the Indian delicacies are good. Yes, you can get good sweets at an affordable price. Service is good and the staffs are attentive. The quality and quantity of the food are really good. It is one of the best sweet shops in Kolkata.
It is the main branch of balaram mullick and radharam mullick sweet shop. This brand is really old and have maintained their heritage through all these years. The place has good number of seating arrangements. it is clean and tidy.
I go there often and try out different sweets that you might not find in other sweet shops. they tend to experiment with their sweet. I really like the chocolate sweets here, they have quite a variety of them. Must try baked rosogolla.

I ordered Blueberry Mishti doi and baked rosogolla. It was highly recommended to me by my friend. Though the quantity of the doi was less the taste was amazing. Doi had a tint of blue colour and blueberry was present at the bottom of doi. Baked rosogolla was delicious!
The place is pocket friendly and you can buy quality sweets and snacks here.
Service is good. You can select the items you want then servers will give you a slip to give it to the cashier to bill it. You can show the bill to the server and get your package.
The place is pretty good with good food and snacks. Variety of snacks are available. They also experiment with their sweet to introduce new flavours.
Most popular sweet shop in town ,,,,,,, ordered for a gut sauffle , it was mouthwatering and fresh ,,,,, very light and delicious, it was just right , not too sweet,,,,, I will definitely try out other items from the menu ,,,, 😍😍😍😍😍
The outlet is spacious, clean ...service is quick.i had dhokla and panner roll...both were good in taste...and price is worth the taste...price is slightly higher than the other sweet shops.. dhokla was soft and not fluffy...very much like the way I like it to be
Right from CHOCOLATE SONDESH to BAKED ROSHOGOLLA, this place is heaven for Mishti lovers! Filled with delicious sweets, a perfect place for the sweet tooth! Do visit and enjoy!

Wanna eat some good quality sweets?!
Then balaram mullick must be your destination with a variety of dainty, good quality sweets and with a wide range of exotic flavours at a quite reasonable price😎
Favourite sweet shop in town. This outlet is located at Bhawanipur. Personal favourite sweet being mango sandesh and baked rosogolla.
.
Also tried their Masala Dosa which was average. But their pastries are good.
.
Overall a good place for the vegetarians. Recommended.
Any introduction needed? I think no. Standing at its height, they have a name which needs no introduction. So we tried many things but recently had kheer doi and blueberry doi. Both the dois were great. I personally would prefer blueberry doi than kheer doi because the latter is quite too sweet, otherwise it's just great.
One of the best shops to provide you with delicious sweets. The prices are reasonable. I just love the misti doi and falooda they serve. Their chocolate sweets also deserve a special mention.
As a Bengali I am a big fan of bengali sweets. I love most of their sweet items. I order from Balaram Mullick & Radharaman Mallicks Sweets at home very often.
It's a sweet paradise...amid by huge variety of sweets...all time favourite sweet shop... Tried their jol vora sandesh (sandesh er vetore liwuid gur) ice cream sandesh(halka strawberry flavor) got baked rasgolla for my home... And 1st time had their chomchom,it was out of the world.. It's very sweet but just heaven..

A popular sweet shop . The shop is a small one though neat & clean . Quality wise good. The beautifully packed Misti Doi is a favourite among the people . Their " Khaja " is a popular item in my family . Overall a good place for sweet lovers .
Odest and most popular sweet shop in town. Kolkata visit can not be complete if you have not been their. They have wide range of sweets available in their shop. And they are all freshly made. I had not taste all but most of the items I assure you will love it. Must try their mango sandesh, mishi doi, baked rasgullas, chocolate sandesh. Many people find it little expensive but quality and taste wise it's worth every paisa
Ordered for a gur soufflé. It was fresh, light and delicious. It was just right. Not too sweet. Will definitely try out other items from the menu.
Tried the kulfi with sabja- Brilliant!
Baked doi, Mishti doi, gur rossogulla, assorted Sandesh were all yum as expected.. The gulab patti Sandesh was exceptional.. Must try!
When we talk about quality sweets... The famous Balaram Mullick & Radharaman Mullick comes to our mind beside others...
I'm not a sweet lover but I can't resist myself from 'Nalen gurer souffle'... I mean the concept, the taste everything is just wow.
In the frame
•Nalen gurer souffle ₹600/kg
•Choco doughnuts ₹40/pc
•Chocolate cake
•Cup cakes
•peanut cake
Went to try their season special Nolen Gur Kulfi but couldn't resist ordering Baked Misti Doi for the starters xP
Had high hopes from the Kulfi and honestly it didn't disappoint. Loved the Doi too.
With the never-ending sweet options my sweet tooth craved more but this was it for the day.
Will visit soon for more.
This place is heaven for sweet tooth like me. This place was in my bucket list for so long time finally I reached there. Heard so much about their baked rasogolla. Trust me this is the sweet you won't forget for long time. I also tasted some chocolate based sweets and those are also heavenly to my taste buds.
Mudpie😋
This shop was started by Ganesh Chandra Mullick. He came to Calcutta from Konnagar took up a job in a sweetshop in North Calcutta as a karigar(worker). But being an entrepreneurial guy decided to startup in the then sparsely populated Bhawanipur. His decision to start a shop in Bhawanipore was a smart one as North Calcutta was overcrowded with sweet shops. The shop became established quickly and found many patrons including Sir Ashutosh Mukherjee. The legacy of Ganesh Chandra Mullick was carried forward by his brother Balaram Mullick and his son Radharaman Mullick.
With the passage of time the Balaram’s has become a throbbing venture of five generations with several branches all over the city. It's traditionally famous for sweet treats such as chenna payesh (milk pudding with cottage cheese), as well as sor rabri, sor bhaja, kancha golla, sitabhog, roshomalai and mishti doi, all prepared according to time-tested family recipes. Don't miss out seasonal delicacies, including mango-flavoured sweets such as aamer sandesh and mango doi in summer, and Nolen Gur Rosogollas and Jalbhora Sandesh in winter. More recently, it has also started making fusion sweets - think creme brulee sandesh and chocolate-based desserts.
One of my favorite place for some delicious sweets. They have a huge variety of sweets and snacks. The service is quick
My favorite from here is the 'chocolate mudpie'.This shop is the oldest of all the shops they have in Kolkata. They have different varieties of sweets available here but the one thing they are famous for is their baked rassagulla, do try it highly recommended for everyone. Post renovation they could have made a better and efficient floor planning for the customers, never the less their products never compromise on quality.
this really is very nice place for sweets in budget .
its near netaji metro. decent staffs and seatings for small group of people is available.
Ohhh myyy gooood huge variety as well as awesome raste...we had baked soi...baked rosogolla n shor vaja...slightly over priced bt too good taste
What more is left to say about Balaram Mullick and radharaman Mullick sweets, too good. Must try all their sweets, natural flavours too good.
Balaram mullick is known for their creativity when it comes to sweet. Have been ordering here since I was a kid. Recently we ordered their mango doi (4/5) which is amazing. It takes just a second to melt in your mouth. Recommended ❤
Located inside the Bhawanipur market area, this outlet is simply exquisite. As a first timer, you often get confused with the plethora of mouth watering Bengali sweets stacked over there. Look out for the mishti doi varieties, Sandesh and of course Rasgullas..
Never miss out on the baked Rasgullas

One of the oldest sweet shops of Kolkata, and for me one of the best sweet shops where you can get different varieties of sweets.
Located in bhawanipore, Jadubabus Bazar.
They also serve snacks along with the sweets and cakes.
Here I am adding a few collection of pictures, out from their store. Kindly check!
One of my favorite place for some delicious sweets. They have a huge variety of sweets and snacks. The service is quick
My favorite from here is the "chocolate mudpie". They have different packages of 250 gm ,500 gm and so on for this. One can also buy their desired quantity on retail.
The pastries are also yummy. Their kulfi and other snacks are also good.
Cost is not on a higher side. Value for money.
Best place to have kolkata mithai. Have amazing variety of sondesh among which i love black current sondesh. A must visit place for sondesh and mithai lover. Also the kulfi falooda here was amazing.
One of my favourite sweet shop in Kolkata situated in Bhawanipore, jadubabu bazar. This shop is the oldest of all the shops they have in Kolkata. They have different varieties of sweets available here but the one thing they are famous for is their baked rasgulla, do try it highly recommended for everyone. The other things that you must have is their chocolate sweets , they have lots of varieties of chocolate sweets available, baked doi/yogurt, raddhaballavi with aloo dum & their Daab/coconut sandesh this items are my favourite so I am recommending this to everyone.
Nearest metro - Netaji bhavan, this shop is just 3 minutes away from the metro station.
Located in the city of the soul, this place is a treasure trove of sweets
Love this outlet to bits and pieces.
Awesoomee sweets .
Mouth melting feels and just superbbbb ❤
My favorite being their baked Rosogulla 😍😍
Fast, efficient service, Excellent quality, proper maintenance of hygiene. Welcome to my second most-favourite sweet outlet of Kolkata. This is their original outlet at Paddapukur, near Jodu babur Bazaar. Always loved their sandesh, mango souffle, Doi, Chocolate mishtis etc etc etc.
One of Bengal's top confectioners, Balaram Mullick offers both traditional and contemporary sweets. When I visited their Bhawanipur location, they had a wide selection of baked goods and sweets. The store had a pleasant atmosphere. Despite being expensive, the broad variety of high-quality products draws plenty of people who enjoy sweets. The average cost of the candies is between 25 and more rupees. The sweets are tasty and fresh, satisfying the sweet tooth of those who enjoy them. To name a few, Baked Rosogolla, Jol Bhora, various Sandesh tastes, Misti Doi, etc., are delicious. The store also charges for a carry bag, but the bag's quality was so poor that it couldn't hold the burden.
Sweets are awesome. If you are a vegetarian then its a perfect place to had some foods. There are varieties of sweets, desserts and also snacks are also available there. I think its better than Haldiram, its according to my taste.
Located near the Netaji Bhawan Metro, this is one of the best sweet shops in Kolkata. They have been making sweets since 1885.
This is a big sweet shop with different varieties of sweet you have ever imagined. There is blueberry doi ( curd ) , baked Rosogolla, Gur soufflé, chocolate sondesh etc.
Prices are reasonable and affordable.
They have a good collection of pastries and bread.
Staffs are polite and nice.
Definitely worth the visit. Would love to visit once again.
Bengal's sweet craft at its finest and grandest. Recommended if you are willing to explore the true flavours of Kolkata.
One of the oldest and famous sweet shops in Kolkata. It has many branches in the same city but I went to its place of origin. Tasty sweets await you. There are also North Indian and Chinese food options if your mouth gets too sweet.
Connectivity: walking distance from Netaji Bhavan Metro Station.
I personally recommend you:
1. Baked Rosogolla (absolute show stopper)
2. Cham Cham
3. Aam Shorbat (had it twice)
4. Butterscotch Sondesh
5. Blueberry Mishti Doi
6. Chandrakala
You can also take away parcels but remember to carry solid items only if you are travelling by airplane or any other modes of transport since Mishti Doi can take some turns on the way and it can get spoiled. Also ask them about the validity of sweets.
So basically their sandesh is the best n fresh!!! The chocolate mudpie is love!!🤭......their paneer sandwich is also good the pastries r delicious but mithais like rasgulla n gulabjamoon r too sweet so it's a no for sweets like that also when u buy a chocolate mudpie make sure u ask them to heat it, it tastes delicious!
Many locals would recommend you this place if you ask for good mithai (sweets) shops. The establishment is impressive and impressive is array of sweets they have. Going by the crowds thronging the place you can correctly assume it is popular place, too. Kolkata is a city easy on your pocket but you can't say the same about 'sweets' here. Even locals , and a number of those i talked to, admit prices are high and popular sweet shops are much hyped charging irrational premium on their sweets. Same stuff, rather better one, is available at number of small tucked away sweet shops, they claim. Only if you know some local n who can guide you to those hidden gems! Till then, happy shopping of Bengali Sweets at such places offering good variety and good stuff at a premium many people appear willing to bear!!!
Oldest and one of the famous shop of Kolkata. It is said that if one has come to Kolkata then he must try 1) fish and 2) sweets. All types of Bengali sweets are available here. Few of famous sweets are baked rosgulla, Rosgulla, chum chum, sandesh, misti dhoi etc. In this shop cakes, pasteries, cookies are also available. Most of the sweets has to be consumed in a day or two as they are made of milk. My personal favourite are misti dhoi, chumchum and baked Rosgulla. Prices are a little higher side. They even charge for packing.
Very nice and famouse place for sweets and rasgulla
I only tried a few sweets and they are all up to the mark. Must try its signature sweet "jol vora sondesh". The ambiance was also soothing and delightful.
Excellent variety of sweets. All veg products.
A wonderful kingdom of sweetmeat. A very attractive store for sweet hunters. It is having a good bakery products too. Light and quick meal items also available here. Sales persons are well trained. I visited this store for "Baked Rossogolla" A Bengali instant tongue friendly item.
