My first time at Saffron , I was pretty pleased by the ambiance and interiors of the place . The aromatic candles added a wonderful soothing charm to the subtly lit place . The staff was very warm , courteous and helpful . They offered us a complimentary welcome drink and a complimentary welcome snack. We ordered their Kolkata mutton biriyani and butter chicken masala . The biryani was a burst of flavours , so perfectly balanced and melt-in-mouth pieces of mutton . The quantity was enough for two along with two large pieces of mutton , potato and a egg . The butter chicken was simply foodgasmic . The gravy was so smooth and tasted amazing . Though the prices are a bit on the higher end but considering it is The Park and the quantity , and quality and also given the fact that we unlocked zomato gold , it wasn't that big a pinch. A memorable visit for sure and highly recommend .
Ambience and decor of this place is just amazing..Food is good..A bit over-priced..Service is good..A perfect date place..Really nice..Overall experience quite good
Have been here a few times. Love the ambience of the place. Last time we were offered some welcome drink and papad. We mostly have peas polao and chicken tikka masala which is quite good here. Overall a good experience
The hospitality of the staffs is superb like the food
Have visited this place on my friend birthday. He bought nearby coupons of 5 courses meal with 2 mocktails or red or white wine or beers . This is one of the budget friendly meal I ever had in a 5 start hotel. Other than that the food were really good , the menu selection is nice and simple. The staff is very friendly. My overall experience is good.
Exquisite ambience, polite staffs and great food comes together. We had Chicken Bharta, Stuffed Kulcha, Mutton Gilauti Kebab and they served a complimentary welcome treat of Am panna and masala fried nan strips. Recommended for fine dining 👌
One of the best place to try north indian dishes. The chiken starter was yummy, the polao and mutton were delicious as well. The ambience and the candle with rose petals were definitely pluses. The courteous and warm gestures of the staffs pleased us. Great visit for sure!
Food taste was really good but the place was really really expensive. Need to think twice before ordering something there. Live music was really good
Ambience is so good. Food and music always add extra happiness. Food was very tasty and the quantity was huge and the most important part is serving food with smile. Thank you
I dropped in here for celebrating my parent's anniversary. The staff was atttentive and courteous. We ordered for dal makhni, subz kofta, veg dum handi biryani , butter garlic naan, tandoori roti, salad. Food was overall good. They offered a small glass of complimentary aam panna in the beginning. Towards the end they served a box of paan that looked really good. Had a great experience.
I love the ambience the most. It was nicely decorated. We took chicken bharta and garlic laccha paratha (3 pieces) . They were very tasty. It was our friend's birthday so there's also a complimentary tasty chocolate cake.
A perfect place in Park Street area to have dinner with family. Special attraction here was the songs sung by the singers. Food was finger licking specially Palak paneer. Kulcha was soft and everything out here is just amazing. Their welcome drink will simply win your heart.
It was my birthday and I wanted it to be very special. I have been keeping an eye on this restaurant for a very long time. Finally went there to have a lavish dinner.
It's located on the 1st floor of The Park Hotel, Park street. As the name, the interior has an orange and saffron undertone and was very romantic. They have live music playing with romantic lighting. It's all was so dreamy.
They gave us a complimentary welcome drink. It was a mango cocktail, which was very much refreshing. It was served in a little tube so it was really cute. We were served with complimentary masala kulcha too. Which was a great appetizer.
We ordered
Signature cheese truffle kulcha: It is a baby kulcha stuffed with cheese truffle feeling. It very soft and delicious. Great starter. They served 8 baby kulchas.
Mutton saagwala: It's a Punjabi style mutton curry with spinach and garlic which was really cremy in taste. The mutton was really well cooked. Masterpiece.
Jeera matar pulao: It was extremely flavourful and aromatic.
Saffron special Tutti Frutti: It was my birthday so ice cream was an obvious choice. It was served in a big glass. With three scoops of ice cream and also fresh fruits like kiwi, pineapple, mango, apple and so much more. It was loaded with sweetness and was a pure Bliss.
Applied Zomato gold privileges which was very unique. It got the the second most expensive item in the order as free.
The overall experience was mind blowing. The service was very fast. The stuffs were very well behaved and courteseous. They were all very genuine and friendly.
Thank you so much The Park for making my day so much memorable. Will be visiting soon.

Attending the 61st Kolkata Food Fanatics Meet -
The Nabo Barsha fever is still on as we feast on scrumptious Bong delicacies filled with nostalgia @ the 61st Kolkata Food Fanatics meet hosted by Saffron- Park Hotel.
The elegant taste of the iconic Bengali fritters - piazi, chicken pakora steaming from the basket and the timeless classic mini singara ('samosa') filled with flavours from last winter - cauliflower, peas have touched my palate accompanied by a tall glass of relaxation to beat the heat - Summer mango Caprioska.
The feast celebrated the spirit of monsoon too by serving Alur chop in 'kagojer thonga' (little paper bags) - bringing back my childhood memories of having it over puffed rice or muri with a dash of mustard oil and green chilli. In addition, the delectable hot and crispy macher fry peeping out from the paper cone, and very moist and flavoursome fillings of mangshor chop, left me craving for more.
Then the multihued flavoured thali made its entry by showcasing the gastronomic tradition of Bengal embellished with puffed up pristine luchi (deeply fried Indian bread) accompanied with quintessential Bengali festive delights of Alur Dum, Misti Cholar Dal (chana dal), signature Dhokar Dhalna (lentil cake), Bhaja-Bhindi (fried ladyfinger), evergreen Begun (fried brinjal), Jhuri Aloo (fried shredded potatoes).
The warm dark brown texture of Mutton Bhuna mixed with rich flavours of black pepper, seasoned ingredients and spices paired with Bengal's family favourite yellow fragrant 'Misti Polao' or 'Basanti Polao' crowned with dried fruits and mild sweetness is simply incredible.
This is followed by 'Daab Chingri' - the heavenly combination of soul filling ingredients of Bengal and tender coconut with the prawn absorbing all it flavours leaving this dish as the glorious delicacy of all occasions.
The pot of flavours filled with much-loved Chutneys embraced the table showcasing the raw papaya plastic chutney, tomato panch phoron mix chutney and khejur amshotto (Dates Dried Mango) chutney served with the deep-fried potato papad.
Finally, another core of this sumptuousness - Baked Misti Doi and Malpua with Rabri perfectly sum up the Bengali sweet decadence.
Thank you so much, Rukshana A. Kapadia, Rahul Arora for curating this richness of Bong food culture on the plate very diligently leaving with me some indelible moments.
Thanks a lot, Saffron- Park Hotel team, for your gracious hospitality.
Last, but not the least my heartfelt thanks to executive chef of The Park Kolkata - Sharad Dewan for the amazing food.
The food was good but for some parts more on the expensive side, what would really delight ur experince would be the serivce they give. Very courteous staff, only wish they had more options in veg. While we had planned an elaborate family lunch along with our lil baby, our expectations were met given their amazing hospitality.
Had an awsm evening here. The decor was eye soothing, the food tasted great.
It was my birthday, so a complimentary cake was served which tasted equally good. The service isdefinitely appriciable. Looking forward to visiting soon.

This place is just amazingggg!!
The courteous staff... the food.... & the ambience.... the mild music they play.... everything is just great.... went there for a lunch date....
We ordered-
1) Chicken tikka butter masala-5/5🍗
2) Kolkata chicken biryani-5/5🍲
3) Tandoori butter roti-5/5🥞
Plus 5 stars for the friendly staff... they made us feel so welcomed.....
Had a lovely experience!!!!
Would surely visit again❤
It was great to have my dinner over there with one of my friends.. Park has always been top notch and so was the Saffron... Nothing new about the park , but certainly have to say about Saffron...very well decorated. No hastle with the Zomato Gold...
In pics:-
1) Mutton Saagwala :- It was heavenly Punjabi Style Dish... Whatever you order just take this dish ..you will not regret..
2) Tandoori Ruti without butter :- Nice and Thin..would certainly feel the difference with other place ..In taste and money too 😂
3) Jeera Matar Polao:- Nice .. probably the only weak point in the menu ..and Quantity also not sufficient..Either you take extra dish or can share with bread
4) Chingri Malai Curry:- As a Bengali, you would always love to have this ..It was heavenly and was made with good amount of cream...There were around 8 piece of prawn with decent size
At the start they provided one type of appetizer and a kind of 🍋 drink that was also quite nice.
One thing to keep in mind the Menu given in Zomato is not updated..all the prices have increased
We were served with an welcome dish and we were way too delighted. Courteous staff, they made sure everything was fine from food to comfort. Coming to food, no complaints. Everything was cooked perfectly. Starting from Kolkata Beckti Malai tikka and Mutton Galauti Kebab to Aloo kulcha and Mutton Saagwala, everything was finger licking good. The ambience just adds to your delight. Must visit place with your family.
Excellent hospitality....I was drooling over mutton saagwala and the cheese baby kulcha. Everything was cooked to perfection.will visit soon
It was my Birthday Eve, and as usual I wanted it to be amazing but comfy at the same time. And, I was actually keeping an eye on Saffron, for a long time. This stunning place is situated in the park hotel, at 3rd floor. The name game is as strong as their theme, all Oranges and saffrons in the interior decoration is cherry on the cake.
Coming to the food part, we ordered -
➡️ Tomato Soup - The reason of choosing Tomato Soup here was because, they serve very thick tomato soup with pure cream on the top and it is really unique here. ❤️
➡️ Complementary Aam Panna - So, they welcomed us by serving Aam Panna, which was absolutely free and was served in little tube. Which, again looked very cute. 😛
➡️ Kolkata Style Chicken Biryani - I wasn't into chicken biryani, but trust me when I say this. Saffron serves heavenly chicken biryani with Bengali Aloo and eggs. It tasted Nawabi and the spices were on exact place. It is a bit costly, but then what 5 stars are for? The quality and quantity both were on point. 😍
➡️ Mixed Vegetable Raita - I must say, they use very fresh and natural dairy products. The curd was really unfaded. And the Raita tasted sweet and salty, and was really twinning with the Biryani. 💖
➡️ Lemon Soda (Salty) - After a heavy lunch, it was necessary for our digestive system. Though, it was a bit over price for a simple soda.
➡️ The Saffron Special TUTTI FRUTTI - It was my birthday, and how I cannot eat ice cream in the last? That too it was serve in this big glass, with 3 big scoops of ice cream (Vanilla, Strawberry, Mango) and fresh fruits like - Kiwi, Mango, Pineapple, apple etc etc. It was loaded with sweetness and I am glad, I decided to try it. It was delicious.
And, lastly I really want to appreciate and thank all the staff members for such an amazing hospitality and making my special day memorable. They all were very genuine, and friendly. Would surely give a visit again real soon. ^_^
Happy Dine In!
Aurangzeb Khan was the man who made us feel so welcomed. He was very courteous and generous! Quick service. Decent food. And a stunning ambiance.
They provide good quality of food and absolutely tawa fresh , service is brilliant would recommend if you are looking to spend some quality time along with food
Located at Park Street a few steps ahead of The Park Restrurant.
The welcoming staff, probably her name is Poulami, was very grateful to us. I loved this place the moment I stepped in. The entire setup is delightfully refreshing and the ambience is colourful. Each table had a water bowl containing some rose petals and a candle which will attract your attention. It has a very sophisticated and cosy atmosphere.
This place gives the best retro dinning environment with live music, which adds more flavours to it. This is probably the best place which provides the customers with live music. One who came, sang very smoothingly and help to tranquillize the loads of work. I enjoyed her singing.
The staffs were extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. Service was really prompt. 2* are for service itself. Each and every staffs interacted and cooperated with us. They themself served all the food and didn't let us took any effort.
We ordered:
✔Chicken Reshmi Kebab
✔ Chicken Biriyani
✔ Chiken Kassa
Now coming to the food, everything was so perfect. Till now I can feel the taste of it. It was really mouthwatering and delicious. They did gave a complimentary Raita with Biriyani but what was disappointing is that I asked for another complimentary Raita as I liked it very much but they refused that.
This place is a bit costly. But you can visit this place, the food is worth spending money. Both quality and quantity are good enough.
Enjoyed the night to a great extent.
Highly Recommended.
The decor and the interior was so beautiful..loved the way they presented a welcome drink and the staffs were so friendly and well managed ..loved the place
Excellent food and staff!! The bhetki Fish was absolutely fresh and delightful, kosha mangsho was just like the old bengali charming food and biryani was brilliant. Loved the Saffron-ish experience. The ambience needs a little improvement though. But the food and the friendly staff made up for the ambience. Keep up the good work!!
Very nice ambiance and very good staff for assistance. Wonderful place inside hotel The Park , that’s the reason the crowd is selected and very quiet place for spending with business partners or special ones . Food have variety from own local Bengali cuisine to whole Indian added with fine beverages. Recommend place.
The charges were a bit high. The food and the ambience was good though.Friendly staff.Had a wonderful day at Saffron.
Recommendable place. ****
Lovely place. Situated at first floor. Authentic dishes. Courteous staff, well decorated, good music, splendid food. Service quick and highly decorated.
Saffron is located on the ist floor inside The Park. I had great expectations with the ambience owing to its presence within The Park. Unfortunately i was disappointed with the ambience. A bunch of tables arranged in a room some lights and thats all. I mean a restaurant within a 5 star should have some elegance attached but it had none.
Nevertheless i had hopes with food. We ordered dhaba dal, tandoori roti, chicken kasha and peas jeera pulao. We were served complimentary aam panna in shot glasses.
Chicken kosha was nicely made. Had great flavours. Taste was balanced. Was not at all spicy or oily. Sad part was it had only 3 pieces.
Dhaba dal was nice. Nicely cooked and had smoky flavours.
Tandoori roti was okayish. Became hard within minutes of serving.
Pulao was good but again very less quantity.
We were also served complimentary chutney, papad and onions and a meetha pan to end the meal.
The only five star essence attached to this place was the quantity they serve for the prices they charge.
Also when i was trying to book a table at this place these ppl dont respond to zomato bookings, i had to call them to book. Huge improvements needed.
Giving a 4 star owing to the courteous service and balanced flavours in taste.
Lovely ambience, nice welcome to guest, 5 star property, no doubt in any kind of services, good for all occasions, soothing music 🎶, one should try for lunch or dinner, best is for business meet and for family...
This place has an excellent North Indian cuisine. Although, the ambience is a little reserved and does not serve all age groups, the food is excellent beyond doubt. The serving quantity (Preferably, Dal Makhani and Malai Kofta) is pretty convincing and the breads (specifically, Masala Kulcha and Naan) are just the way it should be - soft and stuffed. Accompaniments (masala onion, papad, and green chutney) are great add-ons to the food.
Overall it was a worderful experience.
The ambience was soothing and beautiful.
Perfect for a date night.
The food was delicous, especially the bhetki paturi which is a must try.
The service was great.
The live music to soothing.
This place is a must visit.
This place is really a nice place to have lunch with your family. The service is pretty quick, and i get a positive vibe from that place. It is really warm and a great place to eat. The food is good too.
Well everyone wants to visit The Park. And I too wanted the same. So today we made the want a reality. We ordered:
Chicken Tikka Butter Masala: The classic dish. But what I liked was the dish wasn't made too oily or spicy as it is usually done. The chicken was cooked properly and the taste was good.
Kosha Mangsho: The classic Bengali preparation. The mutton was cooked to perfection.
Chicken Chettinad: The gravy was very tasty. The flavours were strong. It was like the authentic South Indian preparation.
Jeera Matar Pulao: Nothing exceptional but taste was good.
Butter Tandoori Roti: Now that was a tandoori roti made with wheat flour. Also the quantity of butter wasn't excess either.
There was also a live performance going on and the singer and her band played some Bollywood classic songs. We were given complimentary drinks and papad. Overall an amazing experience. The staff was really very attentive. Also each table had a floating candle lit which was really nice. A good end to a lazy day with Subhadeep Dev, Binayak Dutta and Ankush Acharyya.
Celebrating important life events...?? Well then this is the place ...always celebrated most important dinners at this place.. great food, grandeur of the place and mouth watering delicacies... THE PARK is the most happening place in the City of Joy !!!
The live music was extremely awesome. Enjoyed dinner with friends and no doubt food was also good. The one can try kofta in this place who love sweet taste in food.
This is my Dad's personal favorite place for a dine out. Quality of food is good and the taste is mouth watering. Overall a great place to visit.
Food was ok. Place was good. Music was pleasant. A good experience overall.Enjoyed with my friends. A sober place to hangout with family and friends.
Decent interiors and ambiance with delicious food. Courteous staffs..though service, portions and variety can be improved a little. Nice place for a quiet and cozy lunch.
Had gone for lunch. Wanted to use my new acquired Zomato Gold membership... the restaurant was completely empty.. but the staff were very courteous and helped us to settle down. The process of unlocking Zomato Gold was simple too. The food was good too... ambience very pleasing. Overall a good place to have a quiet lunch.

Wanted to spend a lovely relaxable evening with family so visited this place just last night.....for a casual dinner...n jus got mesmerized!! Cosy red orange ambiance..as the name says " saffron"....n the iceing on the cake was...it's live music...oh! the lady sung really really well n made the evening all the more musical! Tried dhaba dal...which was really well cooked n was lil different...so altogether had a superb evening n looking for more visits soon!
I visited this place with my partner. It was well decorated and staff was very polite. Food was very tasty n spicy but it was very costly restaurant n quantity was not satisfied. Look into the matter n take necessary steps.
Dined at Saffron one evening. Interior was pleasant. They keep a good number of madwari and gujrati food items in the menu. I ordered a kolkata style mutton dum biriyani, roti, veg curry and salad. Biriyani was expensive but tasted superb. Mutton pieces were so tender that just melted in mouth. Biriyani fine rice was cooked best.
Here I am juxtaposing a little review of Pujo Special Buffet in The Park.Previous year the Park arranged their Durga pujo special bengali buffet in a banquet hall located just beside the saffron restaurant. There are two big halls. In the first hall pujo pandel, reception counter etc we noticed. And in another inside hall the pujo special lunch buffet was going on. I had two discounted vouchers at a nominal price.
But the buffet was really a grand buffet. Seeing hundreds of people sitting and eating together where the occasion is pujo, the venue is a star hotel, and the service is paid-service was an unforgettable experience.
Their famous beetroot onion hot peyaji will never loose it's appeal as a starter. I had tasted it 10 years ago in a seminar followed by a banquet buffet in this hotel. I could remember I finished 3/4 plates of hot peyaji within few minutes. I am a huge lover of fries right from my childhood. So could not resist.
Fish chops, veg rolls and tangra style dry chilli chicken were some of the other starters. Fish chops were so demanding that most of the times it's buffet container was empty. The chilli chicken was also hard to ignore. Hot radha vallabis were also being out of stock frequently.
Almost all main course items were very tasty and demanding. Queues were formed for most of the buffet spreads. Prawn malaikari tasted great. Although the size of prawn wasn't of Golda category but the taste, consistency, colour and flavour of the gravy reflected that of original malaikari. Polao and mangsho was a hit combo which again I could not resist.
I normally don't take welcome drink while eating hot starters or very hot soups. Rather prefer to drink it later when I am about to finish main course or when I start to eat desserts. So asked a waiter about it and got a big glass of chilled mixed fresh lime soda when I finished main course. Enjoyed it. At the end chatni, misti doi, rosogolla, pantua and ice-cream tasted excellent. Those who want to participate atleast once in this grand event , get coupons from nearby or little app on the days of pujo or you can directly contact the hotel authority for prior booking. Hope you will have a long lasting
eating experience.
Excellent food and service at this restaurant. Been here more than thrice, and each time I’ve not been disappointed. Especially recommend the Malai Kofta, Dal Makhani and the Chicken Chettinad. The breads are also very well cooked here. Overall a great experience at a decent value for money proposition. Strongly recommend a visit!
Things to improve upon: The live music could be softer, portion sizes could be larger
This is my favourite place and one of the best place because someone special of my life who proposed me in this place...😍 love color is red..and saffron color also red 😚... awesomeness place awesomeness food and management also too good...❤❤❤❤❤❤ .. The Park Hotels
Excellent serene ambiance .Great Food specially Biriyani and chicken dishes. Also was a great experience to have food with beautiful songs organized by bands.

Went there along with 13 of my colleagues, the Briyani is awesome, you feel quite privelged with the level of service, The main course was value for money, Desserts were making the valet lighter however they enticed the tongue .. All in all a place worth dining time and again
This place is awesome. 1st time experienced in safroon.awesome environment and food.all the stuffs are very good there.. It has made my day so special.. 🙂
One of the smaller resto at The Park but the ambience is cosy. Visited on 31st Dec. 2017 as the scene at any other resto in Park Street was nothing less than Mumbai local trains 😄😄 Food though was good but felt they had increased the price on new year night and also choices / options in non-veg were less.
Great ambience, courteous staffs and soothing music are the big plus points. I have an obsession with paneer so I ordered Paneer Khurchan to try something new but somehow felt disappointed with the quality of food in this price range. It's totally my personal standpoint but still I would like to recommend this place to everyone.
Its a small place to have some good food. But definitely a sophisticated one as its inside the park hotel. Ya place is quite dull if there wud not be any live Music for sure. Two guys were sitting near entrance door for entertaining all with good ongoing hit numbers which was the main attraction of all.
Food: portion and taste was ok ok nothing too good or too bad.
Even price was not that high at all. So saffron is affordable for aam janta i will say who wana taste some decent joint. So dont get scared with the tag of #ThePark.
Being vegetarian, we had little options in menu. Dessert was expensive for sure.
So those who wana try out some small place with good live music in kolkata where there will not be too many people around you, try this out.
But this is not the place where one wud like to visit again and again. Its a kinda one time try out.
Located in park street, this beautiful looking restaurant is a part of park hotel. I was impressed with ambiance and the feel of the place the moment I entered.
We ordered for North indian food, and we're a tad bit disappointed with the food quality, specially for the prices they charge. The breads were bad, the dal was really bad. Maybe it was my unlucky day. However, the staff were really courteous and paid specific attention to each of our complaints and did whatever best they could.
Overall, you can try your luck with the food. Visit if you want to spend a peaceful evening with a great ambiance and not so great food.
Diwali evening-Extremely well decorated entrance with diya which makes you feel special.
The name of the restaurant is Saffron and starting from Subdue lights, candles, lamp shades, slip clothes to flower arrangements on the table, the colour of everything is Saffron. We ordered a set menu and each item had justified the authentic taste of Awadhi cuisine.
Service is pretty fast and waiting staffs are very supportive and hospitable. Would love to visit again.
Located on the 1st floor of The Park, Saffron has a beautiful ambience with soft music. We tried for a set menu of 5course and it was amazing, though the quantity was less. We had various types of mocktails, among which the blue lagoon was the best. The chicken kebab and the mutton sheekh kebab was good. The main course was good but could have been better. For the desserts, there was hot gulab jamun which tasted amazingly good.
Nice ambience.. great experience.. good food.. good variation.. came 2 rescue when every other restaurant was over crowded.. one more restaurant off my bucket list
Awesome food...Great courtsey by the staff. Aurangzeb was polite and very efficient. Biryani was light and tasteful. Best Chicken Bharta tasted in quite some time .
Had a beautiful experience. They certainly surpassed my expectations from restaurants of The Park. Starting from the puchka to soup to butter chicken, everything was just perfect. The service was prompt and staffs were courteous. There was live music on with 80's bollywood classics. Overall a very good place to have Indian cuisine from the north.

Saffron doesn't need an introduction.. it's been there ruling the reingn for a long time..last Friday I visited this plush restaurant with my closest friend..a sort of farewell dinner since she is moving to Michigan soon...our five course meal consisted of mocktails and wine, kebabs ,phuchkas,dahivadas..butter smeared naans, fish lababdar , chicken kadai to ice-cream and gulab jamum..a box of beautifully decorated paan..the food was good, above average in all standards but that mocktail took my heart away..too refreshing to be true..over courteous staff and yes live music..the perfect candle light ambience..
As it is expected from park, a wonderful restaurant with great food, nice decoration and a good service. Moreover it is not so dear. Always good to be here
Went to this restaurant armed with those Nearbuy coupons whereby they are offering a five course meal for just Rs 795. This, I feel, is the best way to try out a restaurant where one has not gone before. One can try out a lot of dishes which comes in manageable portions.
I must say that I am highly impressed with what I saw and ate here. The restaurant has a nice and soothing ambiance. The live music performance going on while I was there also added to the mood. All the dishes that I tried, from the soup to the kebabs to the naan and dal makhni, were all beautifully presented and tasted excellent. The tomato based mocktail with a tangy taste was very enjoyable as well and acted as a very effective palate cleanser between courses. The service was warm, courteous and quite prompt. Overall, a very good experience and at these prices, a real steal.
With a great music and ambience, the service was the only thing one can get dissapoint of.service was too slow. Coming to the food, only indian food are available.Items were less, we ordered naan but it looked like khulcha, except the plain naan all ither things were good. Loved the dal makhani der.Paneer kuchwaha was very ordinary and didnt liked. All u can love der is the enviroment. A beautiful ambience with beautiful music. All the ratings i m giving for it only.
This visit for a planned dinner outing at Saffron, happened after a long time since i had last been here. To begin with, staffs were very cordial as they have always been, helpful, prompt with service. Ambience, considering it to being incorporated within The Park is okay sort of. Coming to the food, had ordered Kolkata Beckti Malai Tikka which was a divine delicacy to say the least and is a must have, along with Mutton Seekh Kebab which was also good. Kolkata Mutton Biriyani, which i thought was better when i had it the last time, along with Chicken Tikka Butter Masala which was also good to the taste buds. However the only shortcoming if at all there was any would be perhaps the quantity of food that was served with each portion, which was bit on the lower side. Considering quality over quantity though, this place is worth visiting once in a while for treating yourselves with some of the finest delicacies.
Loved the ambience and ofcourse their hospitality. I went there with my girls on my birthday, the live band there even played birthday song for me and that made my day :) actually my night 😂

The great businessmen produced a galaxy of renowned hotels and restaurants which enriched our glorious culture and lifestyle not in India but also across the world. The Park is one of them. Had been there for making a superb lunch experience in astounding surroundings and it came true. We were the witness of those stupendious moments that took our mind away from our monotonous life. They gave us the opportunity to have some magnificent dishes whose taste can't be described in words. We went there through Nearbuy at very reasonable price which increased more tastes in food towards making our experience more extensive. The staffs were immensely helpful, decent, courteous even if I use all the adjectives may not be adequate for appreciating their unconditional Support. Now come to the ambiance, trust me I'll fall short to describe its ruthless beauty. Very much decorated from the front to end. Nothing to say else, because it would take 1pages so I request you to come physically and see live. However, I'll recommend everybody from the child to Seniors to be here, I can bet their extensive decorations and bright astonishing dexterity will make you amazed. Last but not least I'd like to thank their "Mehman Nawazi", they ended up with PAN which was not only good in smell but also wonderful in taste. The best foods I've had till now. You'll be in the TOP soon. Keep it up. See you soon. Warm Regards.
We have been there more than a couple of times and it was always a very pleasant experience.
Everything is appealing right from the decor, ambience, service, food as well as prices.
Kebabs are melt in the mouth and Dal Makhni is awesome.
Super ambience. Decor is very soothing and classy.
Service is very friendly.
Coming to the main aspect, the food is really good. Bengali cuisine at its best.
Desserts are lip smacking!
Good quality and quantity
Price a little high but worth it.
Will visit again for the love of bengali food and saffron hospitality.
Keep it up👍🏻
Went there with my wife at our anniversary..Saffron is north-indian specialist.. It offers value for money. .Service was absolutely great..The staff was really nice ..loved their hospitality ..giving +1 star for their behavior of staff only.. The ambience and interiors is very beautiful..live music was playing ,which created some magnificent atmosphere there..To be honest food was just average only the dessert, kulfi falooda tasted heavenly
I had a meal here after ages at saffron. . as always the quality of Park Hotel came with the meal.. the restaurant was empty and we got the full attention of the staff and did the make us feel at home.. if you are looking at a great indian meal at a reasonable price in a 5 star hotel this is it.
After partying at Roxy went to this place for dinner .The ambience and the service was good . Food was okayish just like any other normal restaurant . Had chicken kosa ,fulka and salad . A good experience over all .

Indian cuisine restaurant of The Park Hotel. Beautiful ambience n interiors. Menu is slightly expensive given the standards of Park Hotel but it offers value for money. Food was nicely prepared and tasty. Great service by the staff, very professional n courteous. A great place for family dinner/lunch. I had a memorable family lunch. A satisfying experience overall.
Went on a Saptami afternoon for lunch during last year's Durga pujas. Amazing ambience, various old bengali numbers were played. We had the special puja menu. Ah! Total bliss with pure bengali food. The aam pora sherbet, sukto, saag, bhekti paturi, chitol maacher muithya, kosha mangsho, chholar dal, luchi, papad chutney, ghee bhat and plain rice all were proportionately served. (More items were served, could remember all) The quantity of the daal could have been less as both chholar dal (for the luchi) and dal are separately served. The bhaja could be better. Our tummies were too full to gorge on the swetmeats but mishti paan was the mouth refreshner. We also enjoyed beer before the meal. Servicing was too good, needless to mention for a restaurant in The Park. Overall a wonderful dining experience with the table d'hôte. Will surely return to experience a la carte next time. 😌
Well decorated place. I just loved the interior of this place but it is bit shady. Coming to the food, we ordered north indian cuisin and one cocktail and one mocktail and all tasted great. And I have to say something about their staffs. I guarantee you, they are the nicest people in the world. Over all, I loved everything about that place. Will visit again.
Food was very delicious and the staffs were very courteous! Love the place ❤️
Suggestion: please bring varieties in veg starters !! Nobody (except foreigners) will come to "the park" for jhal murhi so please include other items and also there was not a single item of mushrooms 🍄
The cozy ambiance, attentive staff, and an extensive menu made for a memorable evening. The dishes were impeccably presented, and each bite was a burst of flavors. I highly recommend trying their signature dessert—it was the perfect sweet finale.
It was a very good experience here. Must try this elegant restaurant with family and friends. The quality of food as well as the environment was on top. Go for it. 👌🏻
