This enchanting restaurant captivates with its intimate floor-seated dining, warm lighting. Rich aromas of delectable cuisine fill the air as plush cushions offer cozy seating. The gentle hum of background music complements the serene atmosphere, creating a perfect haven for an unforgettable dining
Loved the atmosphere and their service. Specially like the ground seating arrangements. Somewhat didn't like the chicken wings in chilly butter sauce. It was very buttery and not at all spicy but loved the momo. Will visit again to try some other dishes.
Actual Rating- 4.5/5 This is one of my favourite places to eat at and I have visited it numerous times. I love most of the dishes that I have tried here and would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat. Some of my absolute favourites here are the Pork Kothay, Chicken Wings in Chilli Butter S
The momos were just melting in the mouth! It was tooo good. All of the foods we ordered were absolutely perfect in their taste. The ambience was great, very relaxing. Gonna come back again...
The atmosphere was pretty good and I loved the concept of sitting on the floor and dining. Tried the chicken momo, qewa datsi, and garlic noodles. The food was okay, a bit too oily compared to what I would have preferred.
The actual hyped Sikkim House for it’s Momos is here, “The Blue Poppy Thakali”. The Sikkim House has another restaurant at the 1st Floor of Sikkim House with the name of “The Gangtok Kitchen” which many might mistake it for the Sikkim House’s Momo. Now, to begin with. Being the person where visitin
Its a great place for momo lovers. The momos are really juicy and soft. one must try their mutton kothey and mutton steamed momo.
Went to this restaurant for lunch, the ambience was very good. We tried Chicken kothey, Egg fried rice and Chicken Shyapta. Food tasted exceptionally good and the portion was decent. Price is very reasonable. Only the service and hospitality could have been a little better. Overall good experience.
Amazing Himalayan cuisine. Great pork dishes and more. Steam Momos and Mongolian Pork are must tries
I just like the seating arrangement of this place. They have a shoe rack also. Food is good, but they don't serve soup with the momos.
I went on a lunch alone at The blue poppy thakali and had ordered chicken kothey, chicken fried rice based on the recommendation of the server. This was my first time trying chicken Kothey and I was absolutely amazed and shocked that I had never heard or Tried this dish before. Chicken fried rice wa
Tried Nepali Pork Thali. The sides were good especially the Kali daal and aloo dam but quantity was very less. Pork curry was excellent but the curry was very less and they will not refill upon asking. Pork meat was too good, very soft and juicy. Overall good. You can order extra rice and daal witho
The food is too and well worth the money. We had chicken momo kothay (a must have) , mixed fried rice and chilli pork. We all had their inhouse mocktails, green apple mohito and mojito both were very good.
The food was great. However the chicken was not fresh enough, which was quickly replaced by them. The environment is too good though not very large. All the staffs behaviour was nice. Overall a good experience 👍
Read mixed reviews about the place. But when the visionary behind the place is bestowed the title of “Momo Queen of India”…a visit becomes mandatory. Ordered: - The Kothey: While I normally love the “pork dumplings” category more than the chicken (personally think the fat makes them juicer)…must s
The food and the ambience really stands out. The service was also good but I don't know why they added Service Charge by default (it was removed when asked for) but I have never seen a restaurant of this category separately charging Service Charge. Coming to the food, we had 1. Crispy Pork in Chill
The sitting arrangement is what I love the most about this restaurant.... There are pillow mats and the table height is very low so you can sit on the pillow mat on the floor with ease and relax while eating.... it's kind of Japanese culture.... And the foods are awesome....the momos are just delic
